I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi TGC4
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, is it not able to be un-archived.
Regards
The Coddiwompler

Doesn't seem to be there, I should have checked the activity comments before we came. Someone please remove this from the app!

Heading south for the long weekend. Stayed overnight in a nearby motel. Had a quick look here in the morning but like others before us came up empty handed. CO may need to check.
Lots of rocks and grass, hard to know where to start looking. May have been damaged or lost.
Was not able to find it but the fact that it was a very small cache makes it understandable that we did not find it
No luck for us, not sure if the previous log was an actual find judging by what was written.
22347 Traveling through New Zealand to see nice people and places. Also to find some geocaches.
Today we moved from Taupo to Rotura, seeing nice places and visiting caches along the road. Stopping at a Volcano park. We stopped at some caches of the Te Ara Ahi trails, where we could stop the car, because our bikes are 18.000 km away. It would be nice to ride this trails by bike.
Most caches were found quite quickly. A few took more time. Some were wet with waterproof paper, but our stamp and pen do not work that good on such paper when it is wet. Muggles did not watch what we were doing and had more interest in the surrounding views.
For this one I would have loved to have our grand children to crawl through the bushes[:o)]

We had a trackable we wanted to put in, but didn’t have any luck finding it
Had a hunt around but didn’t seem to find. Hopefully can change this blue for a yellow at Christmas time
A little hard to find due to the size but managed after reading the hint and getting adventurous children onto it
Our four days in Taupo with the grandkids has come to an end.
Everyone really enjoyed themselves.
The good thing about departing is that I get to finally do some caching while Ms M heads South with the grandkids.
I stood and admired three shags sitting on the rocks until the coast was clear, made the grab and returned to my shag watching position while I did the paperwork.
Haven't seen you at the Hamilton Bridge Congress for quite some time !?!

Down here for a break in the school holidays. Weather was amazing yesterday, could see the mountain clearly. Seems to have packed up this morning though. Found cache though some thoughtless person left their dog poo bad there too. Photo log due to no pen with me. TFTC!
Quick find for us on a beautiful spring day! Mid week so not a muggle in sight! TFTC
Put new log in place. lovely day today.
Find #1210. Thank you very much for the cache. 1/09/2018 at 16:18

Good to have the little walk. Birdlife in the water and lake edge annoyed with me. TFTC
Edited it Log is full so my name appears as FTF.

Found on an evening stroll. By the time we reached GZ the sun had set. At least that meant no muggles
I travelled up to Taupo today with my family. I am running in the North Island Cross Country Championships tomorrow which is an annual event held at Spa Park.
Unfortunately we were a little bit late leaving Wellington and I was on a bit of a mission to get the trip over and done with. So I didn’t stop for any caches along the way.
Once we checked in at our motel, not too far from GZ, we wandered over here to have a look for this one. It was a bit dark and cold but we found it quite quickly by using the hint.
The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry.
Thank you

It was very hard not to look suspicious; there was so many people running and walking on the track, but eventually found it. Beautiful spot for a little geocache, TFTC!!
Yesterday I was involved in organising our annual ANZAC Sevens Memorial Tournament at one of the nearby high schools on behalf of The Salvation Army. Our organising crew had come from all over the country in order to do so. The day went really well... and so after a good nights sleep, I decided to stop and grab a cache on my way out of town. This find helps me to keep my current daily geo-streak alive. So after parking as close as I could, I made my way to GZ on foot. On the way I was very much intrigued by the red bikes that had appeared... man if I had time I would have like to have tried to solve the clue for this competition. Anyway, once I was at GZ I made a quick find, signed the log, and put it back in its spot all ready for the next hunter. Just in time too... I had just finished when a number of muggles came into view. So thank you TGC4 for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC!
On a trip to Taupo to celebrate our collective University graduation last week!
The first one of the next morning! Had quite a long snoop and ended up with darkangels head fully inti the bush to see! Found pretty quickly after that haha

2 Canadians enjoying our walk along the lake. Rocker2 and my first cache here on the lake at Taupo.
Did not realise I had to walk this way, until driving past, and the GPS said we were moving away. Did a u-turn and parked across the road. Made my way to GZ, and soon was retrieving the cache. Thank TGC4 for the hide and bringing me to this lovely spot
We searched for this one before heading back to Auckland after a weekend watching our friend compete in the Iron Man.
We had to time our search carefully as approaching muggles were appearing very quickly and without warning but we managed to find a gap and make a successful retrieval undetected.
TFTC.

Went for a walk this morning and stumbled upon this cache. No pen so a photo instead, thanks for Aunt Aggie.
Nice easy cache, thought it had move along to the next post. I moved it back to its original spot. TFTC
Up earlyish at Berkenhoff Lodge, stayed a night there to come down to Taupo for cache maintenance and after a good yak with the owner of the lodge I made this cache the fourth for the day and gradually head south to Waiouru for another of my caches to look at.
What a lovely little walk to the cache this is! The lake curves around and there are many walkers and cyclists here this morning. So much so I had to be careful scurrying around to find the cache. Fortunately it was found quickly right where the cache page said it would be, then I took it a few meters away to sign in. Took heaps of photos!

Found on second attempt. First attempt late at night, much easier in daylight! TFTC
Visiting from South Africa. Lovely walk along the lake in the cool of late afternoon. Love your country. TFTC
Our hotel was just at the other side of the road, so I couldn't resist searching for this cache. Took a few minutes before I got it. TFTC!
Hooray!! Number 365 for the year of 2017!! Goal reached just in time. Found on a still summer evening at dusk after a lovely sunset. TFTC
I was heading to Turangi for a couple of days R&R and this looked to be a nice quick find and a nice place to stretch my legs, I was right on both counts and quickly had the cache in hand. TFTC
Visiting from the United States and enjoying New Zealand . rented bikes today and biked along the Lake and was able to find 5 caches . thanks for the fun
Quick find while in Taupo for wedding. No writing stick on me so pic attached. TFTC!
Thank you for nice cache! Found together with pierito while walking around the lake.
Heading North today for 6 days away - attending a Wedding and going to explore a bit and hopefully find a few caches along the way.
Stayed in a Motel nearby and I got up early to wander along the lake edge. What a beautiful morning.... and a couple of caches hidden along the way.
Here is a quiet wee spot beside the lake - with not a lot of foot traffic today...

Wazz up my geo dudes and dudettes we found another swag cache with the dank crew . Shots for the gnarly view and cache. We found this in no tick tick time at all. In a few seconds we hit the jackpot. Caution there were 200 meter waves, nah JK (just kidding) for all the people who are not hip and cool! Peace out
A very muggly cache today but we managed to find the cache and a whangarei rock!
2957 Down for the "Have a go day" tomorrow where you can pay $10 and have 3 laps of the short race track as a swinger on a swinger on a racing sidecar. Decided to come a day early so I could collect some caches.
Parked the motorhome at the camp ground and jumped on my bike. It was just getting dark as I walked back along the walkway. Cache quickly found but had to be signed until torch light. The last for the day.

Good clue and no doggie bags left close to GZ TFTC and the nice walk round the lake.

Nice walkway at the lake! Needed some time to find the cache; thought it would be bigger. Be careful, there is some rubbish around. Thanks for hiding! NMDA
