The hide area has been vandalised. Cache appears to be missing. Not replacing due to what's gone on here.

We had a bit of a look for this one but was hampered by muggle electricians working in the area. Saw something that I wanted to investigate further but it was right next to the muggles head.
Two geo people who found it told me that cache is missing .
Been looking for under and sides where waypoint are . No luck

DNF - spent a good half hour lookin for this one and no dice. Based on the Activity log I'd say it's there....somewhere...just a tricky little sucker. We'll be back for this one
Spent a few hours walking around Pine Rivers Park today following the whereigo and picking up a few other caches as we went along.
We spent some time here looking but could not find it. I wandered up the stairs for a better angle but then noticed a few suspicious looking characters upstairs and decided to vacate the area.
Maybe next time we will have better luck!

Out with Kammo07 today and this cache was on my hit list due to a previous DNF.
While dodging games of frizbee golf, we met up with a father/son muggle duo who were busy catching Pokémon. They decided to join us in our search for this elusive cache.
Sadly, after approximately a 3/4 hour search, 4 pairs of eyes were unable to locate this cache.
It really has me stumped, but I will not give up.
On the positive side, we may have just converted some muggles to cachers!!
I will be back.

Too bad we didn't find this one.
I will be back with Clan-mess to turn this one into a smiley face.

I was picking up a couple of caches here, however, there was a lot of work going on setting up for a concert and fences being erected. We managed to get though the fence as the workers were now over near the stage and we ventured up and down and up and down. I tried to understand the clue but could not understand it. I checked every crack and crevice but noting moved. I returned to one spot and gave it a more closer inspection and placed my hand on it. I have one of these too! TFTC FastEd 59
It looks like they are setting up for a show or event here today and cache is well behind the fence line so could be unavailable for a week or so I am guessing depending how long the show goes for and if you are planning to attend
With an event and a CITO on the same day, I hatched a crazy plan to find eight cache types in on day. Ms Maddy and GadgetJack were on board. Miss 13 came along too virtue of the fact that she wanted to come to the CITO for some tree planting.
It didn't seem like such a big ask to find a traditional but we must have searched for an hour here. Ms Maddy had found it previously and remembered what the container was but we still couldn't find it. In the end, it was getting dark and we still had to finish the Chirp cache.

WOW - we nearly walked away saying DNF but one last look and it was located. Thanks FastEd 59.
Arrived at GZ, and started looking and looking and looking..... it was so close to calling a DNF but decided on one more search. I looked in a spot where I had looked before but this time a much closer look. BINGO. TFTC
Phew!! It was a longish search with the whole team today, which is very unusual. Lucky for me my practically a muggle hubby came up with the goods. TFTC!
Picked this one up while doing the nearby chirp cache. We were in a group, and had a fun time trying to find the clever hiding place. Thanks FastEd.

Had few geocachers together doing wherigo and half way we stopped there nice view and took while to look for that cache and trick cache as we had to use torch as it was so dark! I enjoyed so much! TFTC
Needing some numbers really fast - I put the call out for some caching buddies tonight.
We looked and looked and looked some more - unfortunately the previous with us couldn't remember exactly where it was but it was finally located. Log signed and off we went - FP for the container.

This is a tricky one! Took a group of us far longer than expected, although being 10pm on a very misty night did not help. TFTC.
As we continued our walk around the parklands, we came to this one. My caching buddy had already found it, so left me to it. I searcheed and searched and am ashamed to say that I actually looked in that spot and missed it Once located, I added my name to the log, returned everything to how it was found and we continued on our way. While out with Geokid we thought we would fit in a few finds between appointments and soccer.
After spending a good 1/2 hour looking up, down, under, over and inside, sadly we were unable to locate this sneeky little cache.
Will definitely be trying again at a later date.

Came some time ago and never found back today before picking up the kids and managed it in no time at all.
After the recent DNF, I decided to check on this one as we would be in the area today.
Got to GZ and confirmed cache was still in place. Then it was fun watching Raynersinoz look for it.

Out and about in Pine Rivers Park with barbb and FastEd today, this cache was cache#2 for the day. This one has been adopted by FastEd and found by barbb previously, so they had a lovely time watching me search and providing me with useful hints (some may call it heckling) as to where I needed to look. Eventually something twigged and I found the cache's hiding place. Ah, very clever! I'm glad I've found a couple of this type before, because otherwise I think I would still be looking. TFTC isthmus and FastEd
Searched for a while. Asked for a hint from fellow previous cacher. With the knowledge of knowing what to expect i still couldnt find it.
I've looked for this one on more than one occasion with no success and thought it was going the same way again today as my search time and daylight were running out. Suddenly something I'd looked at several times today and previously didn't look quite right. A quick investigation and I had the log gets a favourite from me for a clever hide and for adding another thing to look for elsewhere!
LOVE LOVE LOVED THIS CACHE!!!
Thank you to CO for a helping hint...very sneaky and we loved it...

Happy to say the cache is still in place. Not exactly where I put it, but the hide works. Co-ords have not changed.
Happy hunting.

After the recent DNF I decided to check on this one as I was in the area. Looks like a school event on, so couldn't get near it.
Will head back over in the next couple of days.

A look before having to get the kids.
So many levels so much steel......
Even with the clue I couldn't see this one.
I loved the area so I'll be back for a really really thorough search.

Out for the day with Nikid1 & Lenore1972. We had time to squeeze in a final cache or two before school pick up so stopped in at this great park that I've been to numerous times with the kids in my precaching days.
Unfortunately this was another DNF for us today, seems we are on the wrong kind of streak! So many places to search here & our cryptic minds weren't working to decypher the clue & time was running out so we decided to move on to try & finish on a smilie.
We will be back!

Nice little find while the geokiddos played hide n seek in the park maze. Oh that's right, I'm supposed to be looking for them. Better go look for them in guess. TfTC.
We normally go caching on a Sunday, but with tomorrow being Valentine's Day we decided to go today instead. This one took way too long to find but at least we had the place to ourselves while we hunted. We had actually given up and were heading back when we had one more look and there it was - sneaky little bugger. TNLNSL TFTC
#15 of 25 in D/T Challenge.
All I had planned for this February was to do the "February" challenge. I went to find the cache for the February Challenge & not far away was the D/T challenge cache. I found both caches & signed the logs. I had not seriously considered doing the D/T Challenge before as it seemed too hard but once I'd signed the log I thought why not do some research & see if it is possible.
So I got together my list of 25 different D/T combinations. Calculated approximate distances I'd have to walk; what was near what; crossed out the ones that looked too hard; widened the area I was looking at; added back some hard ones; read lots of logs to gauge if I had a chance or not; picked some backups in case I had DNF's; plotted a route that was feasible; considered having driving breaks between caches I had a fair bit of walking to do; thought about traffic flow; dreamt about D/T combos & visualised the journey. Just hadn't decided when to go for it - maybe next week?
Woke up early this morning & sprung out of bed. Didn't think today would be the day but loaded the car with drinks & snacks & clothes & shoe changes (much like any other caching day) & headed to the sea to see if the tide was low enough to attempt a D1/T4 cache. It was & I did it!!
So I thought to myself this is it. Today is the day. So quick change of route as this wasn't where I thought I'd start & then caching in earnest began.
Wow who knew an ampitheatre was here. I must look out for an event there. A group was playing a bit of footy on the grass but I just climbed the lookout & pretended to watch them for a bit & try to look like a bit of a tourist. Eliminated some spots as I looked in all the nooks & crannies as I climbed. Hey what's this? My goodness it's a cache. I like it. TFTC

Had this as a contender for a lunchtime walk and find but unable to search due to muggle kids hanging out listening to music at gz
New Years Day and I thought I check this one out while the geo-fam had a play in the park. Looked for a while but it eluded me. The clue didn't make sense, even when I googled it. Not my best start to the year. I'll be back.
Had forgotten I had disabled this. Thanks to therangerik for the heads up.
All good to go.

Okay so we braved climbing the stairs. Fabulous views of the garden show. Made out as if we were photographers. Searched for the obvious then the out of place. Geo maven made the find. Tftc. Didn't see the cache was disabled until got home and looked on the web version. Glad we found it. Get's a favourite.

Quivk easy find as i was trying to find a spot to turn around as i drove down the wrong street
Finally this pesky hide is now a smiley thanks to number 2 geoson aged 6 years. What a rascal of a hide!!!
Been past this wonderful park so many times so it was great to finally stop in for a look. Very sneaky cache, took some hunting.
At long last! Checked every bolt on that sucker till I decided to google raco. Then the clue finally made sense. TFTC That was a tricky one.

The weekend is definitely not the best time to do this one. I had to wait ages for a couple of guys and a little boy to leave gz. I then searched for a while without finding anything so I read the previous logs. A comment made me look in a place I hadn't yet looked and as soon as I saw it I knew that was it as I've seen a couple of these in the past.
Today we headed out to see how many unique D/T ratings, we could find in one day.
We started early, had a late lunch, and got back to the caravan before dark.
Our total for the day was 27, and we found a good variety of hides.
Geo-wife had her hands on this one, in under a minute.
A good hide, worth a favourite point from us.
Many thanks for placing this cache, FastEd 59, for us and others to find.

Heading home after a day of caching with the NPG & just had to collect this one on the way past!
Drove almost to GZ only to be told the gates to this particular section were about to be locked.
Relocated the Geo-beast to a 24/7 area & returned to make a quick find.
Signed &replaced as found.
You can't stop a cacher on a roll! LOL ...

Caching in an unfamiliar part of Brisbane and we were pleased to make this find. Thanks to FastEd 59.
Couldn't find it even when I read the hint. It has to be magnetic with all that steel but what's a raco?? Might have to PAF I'm here in the area for a week
Sneaky sneaky - geohubby found this one but wrote it off as part of it without mentioning it to me - until I pulled it out. Found fairly quickly - this is one of those caches where having seen this type previously will help you find it haha

Today we explored Lawnton and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. No muggles around, found quickly considering the quality of the hide.

I was on my way to do the chirpy cache and decided to have a look for this one too. Eventually I saw something familiar and had the log signed. Thanks for a cool cache!
Yeah we'll needed to bring the right person to this one geo wife straight on to it. So glad that she did find it. I was going insane.
I had been here several times before trying to find this cache but was unsuccessful. After finally making the find, I was thinking it really should not have been as hard as I made it out to be. Thanks FastEd.
We were able to search muggle free today thanks to the intermittent showers. We looked around all the obvious spots and then the less obvious ones, no joy! We then began again and this time Mr. Herbz put his hand on it. TFTC.
Another caching extravaganza with fellow cacher seffnjarah. We spent the day starting at Enoggera Dam and heading out to Eatons Hill, Strathpine, and ending up at Tichi Tamba, looking for interesting and challenging caches along the way.
On the way to a nearby Cheapcache I stopped to have a look for this one. After a quick reconnoissance and a logical and systematic approach I had the cache in hand. A tricky little devil indeed.
Thanks FastEd!

Stopped by with remsjw, jemillalucy, bennyboppers and missusan. When we headed to the lookout, we could see a little copter buzzing about. Who is operating it we wondered and of course he was at the lookout, we had a bit of a chat then remsjw continued to chat while we went and searched elsewhere. We had almost given up and the copter fellow was interested in what we were doing so we had a chat and explained the game. Meanwhile Remsjw went for a wander and found it. Our new muggle friend was interested to see what we were talking about. A tricky find. Tftc
Met a muggle with a really great remote controlled helicopter. We introduced him to the game and he was even curious to help us find the cache. Thankfully remsjw found this one.
As we approached GZ, we were buzzed by a fast moving, very small UFO. We found a muggle who was more concerned about us. We muggled him. He was flying his quad-copter round the building in this reserve. The copter had a gopro camera on board and he had spotted us approaching. Got to talking, mainly to distract him but started to explain what we were doing. I proceeded to look because the other Tough Mothers were all but dismantling the lookout. Didn't take long to have this cache in hand. Had an awesome talk to the muggle about the quad copter. He even let me fly about the park. Cool.
A lovely spot for dinner with fellow cachers BCB. First QLD cache for the year! TFTC
A little early for an appointment, Dave and I PPP over to grab this one, as there shouldn't be any muggles at this time of evening!!
Puzzling over the location for a few minutes, I even tried to climb up on the railings, but I needn't have bothered!
I had looked at this spot earlier but my spidey senses sent me back and as I reached in, my curiosity paid off!!

After a bit of searching we were stumped and had no clue where it would be hidden. After reading the logs we took note of many people saying ''something not quite right". We searching behind the obvious hiding and there was this smart little Cache. Found in about 5 - 10mins. TFTC [^]
