Checked in on this one it has been relocated to a more suitable location at the same coordinates. All dry and I have adjusted the hint.
A nice stroll with the Mrs and hound revealed the cache. It was in the open so I relocated about 20cm to a more secure location. Still a nice snappy find. Last find for our weekend of cache hunting. Thanks Brahms6 for the cache. SL TNLN
Tftc had to reach a little to retrieve this one log was soaking wet do I replaced it with waterproof paper
A great hide, made even more difficult because we were looking for a green container (did not read the updates haha).
The log has become completely waterlogged, so could not open it all up to sign in the conventional area, tried to sign on the back of the waterlogged paper.

Found with my P.I.C the Lab0879:) well she found it really:) nice little hide:) thanks
I have replaced this cache. New container and log. Same place. The bush has grown back post yasi and it is now a little better hidden.
After three straight DNFs it looks like this one may have been muggled I will check it out
Even with the aid of a real GPS, still no luck. We (with the assistance of the 2 geohounds) searched hi and low. Could not find. We did find a green mint container on the ground (empty). Could this be it??
The iPhone really does not lend itself as a gps/compass and with so many trees, we didn't know where to start looking. We'll try again after purchasing a real gps. The geohounds had fun nevertheless.
We are new to this new and exciting world of geocaching!
Today we set out to find 4 caches and this was the one that let us down.
We looked high (and low) and could not see it!
The description says "a small green tin"... I hope its not a grean mint tin, 'cos that's all we could find and it was empty and on the ground...
Still so much fun all the same!!
Thanks

Just as well I'm tall. The boss would have been up the creek without a paddle.
Needed to have a tall person present to retrieve after wasting 5 minutes looking low. TNLN, TFTC
It was exactly where it says. So after ten minutes and revisiting the clue, I had a tall person look. TFTC
Found it (2nd attempt). Was not looking high enough before. Nice new log-sheet is good. Took coin to move on.
Did a welfare check on this cache, took out the old log and replaced with a fresh one and new bag. Yasi has certainly made a mess in the area but cache is still ok.
Should have read the hint as I took the high road. Out of the 3 similar trees next to one another "Yasi" claimed one and its now on the path....cache was not affected by it though. Left coin and P.S. the log is wet (bag is ripped)
I took out 3 friends on their 1st geocaching trip and they are now addicted! Kahu found this one too! 3rd in a row!
3rd of 5 for today.
This one was a little more difficult to spot. It also had ants living in it =S Carolyn wash and dried it.
The paths here are really pretty and they had no idea they were here, right near their house! Ariki says he will now be running this way =)

Ah, the low road had water over it but that was not going to stop us, we are Queenslanders. The cache is nice and dry SL TFTC
09:40 - The low road looks @ present like the TV pictures on SE QLD. managed to get through and grab this cache. plastic worn, sorry run out of spares. T4TC.
Walk the wrong path then after a bit of jumping over puddles made it to gz. A quick find but I had to release the ant colony from inside the container. doubt they were happy and suspect that they will be back. TFTC
We had a nice walk to the cache site. It seems to be a lovely spot.

The rain was pouring in Innisfail so we thought we would try our luck at some caching in Cairns. Usually it is fine further north, but this wasn't to be today. This was our first find for the day and we were lucky to get it completed before a large shower came over. What a sneaky little hide. Not the usual place you would expect to find a cache, but very clever.

Found at 4:20pm as the kids rode there bikes around the circuit. A quick find and the placing of the cache was no trouble. Good to see new blood placing caches in the area. Keep them coming. Great excuse to get out of the house and search a new area.

Look on high....I'm surprised that Brahms6 could reach that high...... Must have used a step ladder????? Okay, so I exaggerate. A cute little cache which proved a little more challenging than initially anticipated.
Aha! It has not defeated me this time. Went over with waynecarly just on dark with new coords. Gps still a bit erratic but this time i think they were pointing in the right spot. Although to be honest i wasnt looking in the right place the first time anyway. Claiming the FTF and a tricky little hide. Thanks Brahms6
My second attempt at this one with Chatmanais...we began searching right on dark (with torches) and after a few minutes of searching, and pure luck, Chatmanais discovered the cache (FTF!). Thanks for the cache!
** Coordinates Changed From **
S 17° 00.829 E 145° 43.003
Distance From Old: 23.4 feet or 7.1 meters.
Ok so after being told by a couple of folk that they had searched high and low. I went back to check if it was still there. The coordinates were very erratic and this time the average was closer to S17.00.829 and E145.42.999. Try these or in between both sets.

Thought i would race over and claim FTF on this one... however i was mistaken. Spent a good hour searching high and low and never even seemed to see a likely spot. GPS seemed to be a bit all over the place but walking away to get a better fixed kept pointing me back to the same spot i already had no luck with... perhaps ill have another go later.
