Mrs LW and two juniors went for a look but were having no luck. Reinforcements in the form of Mr. LW were brought in and he quickly made the find. Thanks for the hide Coruze.
Lovely spot. Saw 3 wallabies and was blown away by the size of the fallen tree close by. Amazing. Tftc.
Another found whilst my legs were reminding me of the intense workout yesterday... my friend said it was lucky we brought our climbing gear as i swear this felt like a T5... lol great location many options of where to hide.
#1551 Missed this one on the way up Benny so collected it on the way down. After looking extensively in one spot decided to follow the gps to another spot a few metres further and voila, ze cache iz found. With our belly grumbling, it was time to head home for dinner. Thanks again Coruze.
On my way down and a convenient place to pause and check my load. Quick find although the GPS did take a while to setttle as suggested.
[:(!] When you have nothing to do, what better way of filling in the day is to going caching, and this was one of them, parked the geoKa as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was located and in a matter of minutes it was in hand, this brings back memories of when the wife and I were bring up our children, we spent many a day on Big Ben and the surrounding tracks as we only lived a stones throw away.
I like it
Another one of the list

A beautiful clear creek. My daughter was amazed by some animal droppings on the bridge that consisted almost entirely of bright green beetles, she called it "potterroo poo"! GPS was being silly, but found this one relatively quickly. TFTC

Bit of a scramble down to this one from the road in the wet and slippery grass, and getting a bit dark by now so spraining an ankle in one of the hidden holes was a possibility too.
Managed to locate it easy enough. Admired the water coming down the hill as we were on the way up.
TNLN, Cheers.

What a beautiful spot down by the creek
On a sunny afternoon with the sun peeking throught the trees it made for a pleasant search for a bit of navel fluff
After finding the cache, it was time to head on further up the hill to find a spot to stay the night

As we were driving along the track we had lots of butterflies fly out from the cutting along the side of the track. Once we parked near GZ we could hear water falling as we looked through the trees we could see the top part of the waterfall. TFTC
#1084 Making our way to the top and the recently re-opened road to Big Ben. Noted and photographed the impressive new culvert or two they have been working on and which allow us to once again drive all the way to the top. A black wallaby was out enjoying the morning, but decided against letting us get too close, and bounded away through the bush. A lovely spot to stop and look for a cache - did not take us too long to spot a likely hiding place. Log Book was dry but cache container was wet inside. Dried everything out and replaced plastic bag for log book. SL at 9.30am Took: bat ring Left: kangaroo key ring in plastic bag. There was plenty of water bubbling over the rocks making a pretty picture. TFTC Coruze and now we continue to the Top!
#567 found on a day of 22 finds with multiple types found mainly traditional caches and some extras. This was the final day of the Easter weekend which yeilded me 5 days of caching and found 83 for my efforts along with many involved in the H&H Mega event challenge. This was the culmination of what was the best weekend of caching to date on this my 162 day of continual caching.
#12 of 22 for the day this was an easy find and after making this find it was off for another however wasn't sure if I could track to the final one in this location with the current Geomobile and the maps for the area were a little sketchy so it was decided to move on and see what else was close by. I really need to do more preparation for this little trip than I had done.
Thanks for the terrific locations you have taken me to Coruze

A great spot to stop for a cache. The brook was babbling and a glimpse of a waterfall through the trees. The cache was wet however. TFTC.
Another easy one - a bit snakey around the area. A bit of water in the container but the logbook was ok. TFTC
I'd found the other two caches here quite some time ago, but somehow missed this one. After clearing three fallen trees from the road with my chainsaw and drag chain, made the find. I emptied quite a lot of water from the container, but the log is safe and sound. TFTC
It was still raining when we got to Ben's Belly but dad made a quick find.
Thanks Coruze.
Thanks Coruze.
As we headed down to the Belly we passed a Wombat on the road.
It looked a little sick but ran off quickly.
The cache was found quickly once we stopped at the new site. It is a really nice spot and in a few years will be beautiful.

Found it.
This area has gone thru a bit of a change as the result of a lot of water racing down the valley. New bridge built too.

WOW!!!!! This place certainly has been through alot of changes. Cleared and even a new bridge. What we first loved about this area has been washed away but as nature does it will create it's own beauty again. New cache has been placed with the old one being washed away. Cache has a new home not too far from it's original one.
We will try and get to this one asap. The bridge should be repaired but we will check it out all the same.
First dnf for the day. Looked in many of the likly places but no joy. Maybe the flood waters have done for this cache. I will keep checking on line to see if it is found or ressurected
Headed to this one but found that the gate is closed due to unsafe bridge! Looks like it has been closed since the flooding!
The gate to access this cache still says road closed so it's a hike from Big Bens Balls. SEVERE flood waters have washed down this pristine little creek and reached the level I think the cache was at. I looked for it for 30min, could not find it and I suspect it has been washed away?
Headed out to grab the cache today to find the track has been closed from the gate.
Well another joint FTF with the Purpledreamer Skullracer & Haveanez, the creek water was flowing clear as clear can be, a sight not seen for a while.
I think it was Glen from Purpledreamer who struck Gold on this one, a nice hide in a TOP spot on a top day out. .
Many thanks again to Crouze & Troobloo.

A short drive up the road and we found his belly, now we are off to find his head.
Thanks Coruze and Troobloo.

Found with 2 of the Riverina Geocaching teams on our Yackandandah Camp and Cache event weekend as we roamed around after lunch. Nice drive up & a nice flowing stream too. Thankfully the cache was high and dry and easily accessible. TNLNSL TFTC Coruze and Troobloo,

#829 @ 11.15am. WOO HOO joint FTF with Haveanez, Lostmonster & Co and PurpleDreamer. Our journey continued up the track - the bush around here is looking pretty healthy following all the recent rains. The day continued to get warmer so the stream gave some of us the opportunity to cool off a little - it was running crystal clear today.
TNLNSL TFTC Coruze & TrooBloo - our enjoyable drive around here continues [^]

Whoop Whoop - our second MASS FTF with Skullracer1, Lostmonster & Co & Purpledreamer!
After success at Big Ben's Ball's we were hopeful of the FTF here aswell and were not dissapointed! A "pristine glad bad" & a "blank first page" Another team effort!
A beautiful little spot to stop - very "rainforesty" and nice refreshing water running under the bridge!
Cheers! TNLN
