The liquor sign is not there anymore but checked all the seats. Couldn't find it
Found with trayc.g on day 2 of our week away. It was fun visiting all these hot spots in Whangamata. TFTC
Made it back to the car from the nearby cache just in time for another shower of rain. Heavy rain one minute blue sky the next..Popped out and found this one just laying there looking inconspicuous in its environment. Thanks for placing. This beach is absolutely beautiful even on a blustery day.
Stayed not far from here last night so enjoyed a walk down to the beach and a look for a couple of caches near to where we stayed with Hal2929. Thanks G-2 for placing and maintaining.
Had somehow missed this one when we were just here for lunch, so double backed to knock it off. TFTC!
After lunch we headed down the beach towards the estuary. We sat on the seat to wait for a muggle walking her large puppy to pass us, but she stopped to ask us if we were studying the seat so that we could build a seat like the one we were sitting on.
We it talking about her lovely puppy and then the puppy decided that he wanted to check out the beach. Once we had gz to ourselves we quickly located this cache and admired the beach before continuing on along the beach. TFTC

Heading to Whitianga for a few days. Stopped off for a cycle and walk along the estuary. Even ended up having a swim at the beach although didn’t stay in long as the waters pretty cold. Quick find once the muggle runners had finished their stop at the seat. Cache all fine. Thanks for the smiley.
The kids and I have come camping at Wentworth valley for the weekend. We have done a bit of hiking, fishing, swimming and geocaching it’s been a great weekend thanks for all the hides some really good camouflage on most of the caches.

I am writing this log up three weeks after finding the cache. Struggled to remember what the cache title meant - Oh yes! I remember.
Taybeedragon and I went on a tour of the Coromandel - one of the few places of New Zealand, especially of Te ika a Maui, that I have yet to explore throughly, and from there along the coast to Opotiki to see one of my many, many sisters. From 18 December to 5 January we found over 400 caches, including 12 adventure labs (60 caches), 20 or so TMGTs and a host of virtuals and earthcaches. And I hosted an event to see the sun come up on New Year's day - surprisingly popular given that it was at 5am. We climbed a lot of hills, saw some amazing beaches that were quite popular despite (or because of) the insane access to them, walk a lot of bush, entered and explored 8 gold mines and generally had an awesome time. However I am glad to be back, but now is the hard part, and I fear it will take just as long - logging!

Am I underage?? Not for this cache. Snagged and tagged. Cheers.
Day 12 - Tuesday 29 December - Whangamata - Opoutere - Onemana and back to Whangamata today. Some local beaches to explore so lets go!
The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are off on another geocaching escape over Xmas, this time to the mighty Coromandel, then over to Opotiki and stop off at Rotorua to return home on 5 January. Had an fabulous time exploring many wonders of our country. Rounding up over 400 caches along the way, with a few LABS, 20 odd TMGTs, virtuals and lots of interesting earth caches to keep the mind busy. Watching the sun come up on New Years Day at Mt Maunganui was spectacular. Lots of walking and even more driving. But had an awesome time. Thanks to all COs who made this adventure so special.

Was puzzled for a few minutes, had to check the hint, gps was off which didn’t help. But found it in the end! Signed JahLemon
Found on the ground so have replaced in the sane spot as not sure where the original place was! TFTC
Had to wait for a very underage muggle to walk past before locating. Hard to believe the beach can be packed. Thanks very much G-2
Very tricy to find. Carefully reading the hint helped me.
Thanks "G-2" for the cache

GPS slightly off but with hint it was a relatively quick find. Could have easily missed it. Tftc
Enjoying a boys weekend away. After a hard day/night with golf, beach sports some drinking and a few hands of poker took the opportunity this morning to go for a walk to help clear the head. Managed to collect our daily cache along the way. All good here. TFTC
Found on my trip north enjoying the caches. Better weather today so need to catch up on caches that I missed yesterday because of the rain
Found as a part of a previous group TanjackMüley, aka WanderingSparrow. Now I'm continuing on my own. TFTC
Took a couple minutes after waiting for mugglers to get out of sight. This cache was buried under a couple mm of sand but signed TanjackMüley and sprinkled just a pinch of sand for extra camouflage. Tftc g.
Today fazzyOne and me visited Donut Island. On our way to the beach we found this cache. Thanks for showing.
Hint was really cool, made me giggle. Sadly tho friend and I unable to find the cache.
I didn't understand the first part of the hint, but the second half was explicit. Veni, vidi, signati. I came, I saw, I signed the log. TFTC.
After a short search the cache was found.
Signed the log and replaced as found

We had looked for this one on a previous visit more than once, so I was stoked to turn it into a smiley. Very well concealed. Careful extraction required due to the resident spider at GZ. Left feeling quite pleased with myself, thank you.
Came back for a second time and read the clues better, easy find this time around
Off on another trip to the Coromandel with TeamBOP in perfect weather conditions.
We stopped at many great locations and had a lot of laughs along the way, which makes for a really enjoyable trip.
On our way home from a long day caching, there were just a few caches that TeamBOP need in Whanga. I just needed two new ones and this one which I think was missing last time I was here.
It was good to clear the area again.

We stopped here for a quick look on our way out of Whangamata. Lovely views from this spot! We had a great Easter weekend and family reunion. Thanks for all the caches!
A quick trip to the nearby lavatory and, when I came out, I spotted the likely hint straight away. MRS tryfyn had taken a seat to look at the view and I soon realised that she was exactly at GZ. Extracted the log and then relaxed whilst waiting for a gap in the muggles. TFTC.
Was killing time before I caught up with friends at the marina and was walking towards this GZ when I heard my name being called out. My work mate from Tauranga was picnicking right near GZ so it was a little awkward searching but was still out of view to have enough of a search to determine that the cache may not be there.
Another DNF. These are starting to mount up today. That's 3-all now. Hope it gets better.
Couldn't find this one no data or hint loaded or logs . looked around seat and sign posts and a few logs lying about but no luck
Making our very first trip ever to Whangamata this weekend. Our primary purpose being to find as many G--2 caches as we can, as we are trying to qualify for a Nelson Challenge cache, to complete 1000 caches by one cache owner.
We are starting to see the logic of the cache names and hints along here. No trouble locating this one.

No longer liquor related but a post is a post - we did have to dig a little and we had to go a little deeper then expected. Sorted though - cheers G-2 TFTC
We thought the cache was missing until we dug even deeper and found the tiny thing... We surprised ourselved with being able to find it. Returned it to its home after signing, secure but maybe not as deeo. T4tc
We were digging so fast to beat approaching muggles that we flung it out of hole. Forgot it was a small cache. Have returned it to seaside side of post. Tftc!
Previous finders must have decided to bury this really deep. Dug well down, found lunch in the form of a huhu bug, then found the cache. Replaced it covered, not buried on the sea side. Thanks.
I didn't get the title reference at first but TF did. Concerned that the last 2 cachers couldn't find it and that it might be missing we dug a little deeper and after finding a huhu grub that had taken up residence we are pleased to report that the cache is in place. Beautiful views across the beach and nice to just sit and have a little break for a while. TFTC
2296 After CITO in Waihi carried on to clear some caches (28) in Whanga. I haven't been underage for many a year. Made a lucky find.
Easy find but omg dramas! LOL fighting with wind and log sheet pen decides not to go and break. All I could get from dairy is a vivid. Not easy given log to use a vivid. Black smudge is me. tftc
Spent a while searching and digging, with no luck. Sign doesn't relate to clue. Don't think this one is here anymore.
A small convenience, this cache is a short distance from Cait's beach house, in fact you can see the sign when I'm having a beer on the deck. I tried to pick a good time but the muggles are a constant, and like to stand by the sign like meerkats, surveying the surf.
21st cache of the day. Had been here previously with yodabeach, before I became a perium member, so it was nice to return today and be able to log it, now that im a fully certified premium member. Cache was located quickly, but log book took a lot longer to extract!
With my best mate checking out the area where he'd be having a bunch of his wedding photos taken from the next day, I sauntered over to GZ and quickly grabbed the cache while he was figuring out what his best side was (turns out he doesn't have one).
Another great spot out here - TFTC

Tried this 3 years ago without success. In area again today and and easy find. Hardest bit was avoiding muggles (a cyclist, a odd people coming up from the beach). TFTC
Tidying up the remainder of caches in Whangamata while there was a break in the weather, thanks Glyn
