Three years without a find...this is a seriously unloved cache...but not for the want of trying by several cachers...me included. Clambered over everything...looked in all the nooks and crannies I think. Has the cache gone AWOL? I suspect so...but I have known to be wrong on occasions.
It's been a while since this one has been Found but I though I would give it a crack.
Short grass and a quiet day had me some peace and quiet at GZ but could not find the cache.

As extreme as I am when caching this one is definitely not there this is our 4th time and still haven't found.
Think you need to recheck.
Think you need to recheck.
I will upgrade the degree of difficulty. however I would note that we all have to plough through long grass and growth at times.
As per previous post - there is literally a wall of 5m high grass blocking access to the area. Not game to go in there!
Cache 199 and a climb was made. Took a bet of grass trampling but finally got to the treasure only to realise I had no pen. Took a photo as evidence of this one if C.O requires it. TFTC
Due to the length of grass at gz I didn't really stand a chance today. Will be back another time.
Great cache. Took us a while but we found it. Could not of found it unless there had been some mowing prior to my visit. TFTC TTBLN

Had to do a little climbing & some 'gardening' to get to this one! Container safe & dry. Left Traveling Yunnan Earrings. Thanks.
Searched high and low for this one, through the over grown GZ and all, but to no avail Might need a check up.
Thanks for the hunt.
Thanks for the hunt.
North Qld 2013. Day 34 Cairns to Proserpine. I had a bit of a clamber around, but with the clock ticking I did not hang around too long. Thanks.

Found while in Cairns, on our travels around Australia.
A bit awkward climbing over this terrain, but the cache was soon found.
Thanks for the cache, brahms6.

Odd name. Not sure whether your sonata is being played by the power lines. Good spot though on a Sunday. TFTC
On my way back home to Townsville. I think I stepped on almost all of the blocks before I had the cache in hand and only one of them moved a little bit, but certainly not enough to trip me up. I don't think it's dangerous, but then - I love climbing on things

A drizzly night as Fangsoki and I arrived here on our caching trip around Cairns. I had a few ideas as to where the cache would be after seeing the difficulty/terrain rating, but then I read 'I have rated the terrain high' and was a little perplexed. No matter, we followed the GPSr to the spot.
I hopped up and was cautious of the wobbling blocks, there were a couple. I couldn't find the beast, so Fangsoki scrambled up to help the hunt. But that almost ended in tears as he says in his log. Hmm.. maybe finding this cache can wait for some other time.

Every now and then you read a log about someone whining about something about your geocache. Please don't take this one as whine - maybe a cautionary tale.
Captain Terror and I arrived here after hours and tried to find this one. Captain Terror was having no luck. I joined him and managed to step on a very unsteady block. These are very big blocks. I fell forward toward a reobar on the block. I managed to avoid it.. only to immediately step onto another loose block and loose my balance again.. and fall toward to yet another reobar.
By this time I realised I was in mortal danger.. I decided to fall toward grass... which ended up covering being another, this time sturdy, block. I fell heavily on the block and stopped to get my breath and took stock of myself. My only injury was a grazed shin.
I was very angry and upset at the time. I declared to Captain Terror "Cache be damned.. let's get out of here"
In all fairness, my lack of balance is hardly the cache owner's fault. But please be mindful of what happened to me. I am perplexed though why this cache is only 1.5 terrain given the GZ.
I may return someday. TFTH.

Up here on a lucky 3-day caching mini-holiday. I couldn't let this one go bye as a caching buddy owns this series and I would have a lot of explaining to do if I overlooked his series! [B)]
I thought this would be too straight forward as it was a Saturday afternoon after all and no one would be working at their business out in this industrial area on a Saturday afternoon... Right [?]
As we should know by now - this is not the case as muggles are somewhat weird creatures and the only business open today and populated was the one immediately adjacent to the GZ. - Awesome!
I did get a bit go geo-confusion and ended up in the creek along with a car radio and old pedestal fan but no cache
OK - need to slow down and read the instructions - correctly this time
Back in the groove I was now back on top of things .
TFTC brahms6 Cache and container all in good order

In Cairn for a short stopover after fishing in Weipa. Search as long as could in the rain but no luck today
Been here before to look for this one but with no luck. After another search ...there it was!! Easy if you are methodical and can climb a level. It is not too overgrown where the cache rests. SL. Took TB. TFTC brahms6
Mrsbiggles58 the geohound and myself set of to look for this one. On arrival we easily located the GZ and started our search. The whole area has done well this wet season as the rains had been kind to the weeds and vines making the area very overgrow. It was difficult to look in all possible hiding places. We will have to come back for this one with a whippersnipper. Perhaps we were in the wrong place as well so we will have to come back.
Bit disappointed but o well it was very overgrown btw bring repellent so many sandflies
After a bit of looking - found it where I should have been focusing on Hint - do not go in the mangroves Dropped off trackable - took nothing. Thanks.
Found it after quick search with my boys Josh & Mitch. Took geocoin 1625298 left Leopard! This was our first mission at geocaching
After a little climb and look around cache was located.. TFTC SL

Not the most exciting place for a cache, but better than no cache at all.

In found it on my second attempt. This type of container is rainproof only because of the sheltered place it is hidden![^] However, this is a place where a bigger box would give more fun und one woudn't have to squeeze in things.

Random place. Pretended I wanted to take pictures of the pylons! All sorts of bugs have claimed this little cache for their own! Only on the outside though =) Loads of concrete mixers down here so took a piccy for my Dad in England as he used to drive one =)
Took a donkey and left my card, Wandering Wingnuts TB and CENT5's European Union Geocoin #1.

Chatmanais and I decided that a late-night caching expedition was in order. We located this cache in between heavy showers of rain after about 10 mins of searching...our first and last cache of the night as an electrical storm and heavy rain moved in quickly after replacing the cache TFTC Brahms6
Found after dark with waynecarly in between a quick shower of rain, listen to that the high voltage crackle! Be careful as some of the blocks are not as stable as they appear!
07:00 - Beautiful still morning - another perfect day for geocaching in paradise. +/-0. T4TC.
After our longest stretch without finding a cache, 132 days, we decided to dust of the GPS, grab our "Fedoras" and leave the safety of our aircon. TFTC
Found at 4:45pm on my way home from work. We would have had a go at these caches when they popped up on Sunday morning, but we were aboard a Catamaran on our way to Michaelmas Cay for a day of sun and seafood.
Found cache quickly after crawling around on my knees and checking out a number of likely spots.
Good to see more caches appearing on the southern side of Cairns.Well done.

An easy drive to the location although with so many possible hide locations the searching was prolonged.
The cache was located and the log signed and a U.S. Capital Benchmark Geocoin was left.
