The owner hasnt logged on in almost a year. Fair to say this isnt going to get maintained any time soon.
No luck here undisturbed on a sunny winters day. There appears to have been some gardening done and there's a lot of rubbish. I searched the whole fenceline without finding it. So its either buried very very well or gone
Easy find. Stamp was a little dry. Found by Team Justice - MJ and BJ

Grabbed this one post 2014 Reptile & Amphibian Expo =] Co-ords are a bit off. Once I widened my search though I found cache fully exposed. But there is a bit of rubbish around to help camo I spose. Covered it up a bit better once I could replace it. Had to sit and wait for the guys over the fence to stop checking the cricket out. Or me. Either way =] cheers & T.F.T.C!
Interesting and very noisy hide with all the dried leaves retrieved and logged the letterbox easy enough but had muggles park there vehicle near by to walk there muggle dog so had to wait a little while for thrm to get out of site

On a very hot (36+) day, our power at home had gone out at 2am and had not been restored when we decided to head for some caching (in the comfort of our air conditioned vehicle).
We got to GZ for this cache and the area was a big mess of cut down branches and vines, looks like someone has cleaned off the fence near GZ, found the cache and signed the log, the cache may be exposed when area gets cleaned up.
We did this cache on the way to the 10th anniversary of earthcache, and did several other caches that had previously been DNF's for us, coming out at the end of the day with 7 different cache types for the day.
All in all it was a great adventure.
thanks to the CO for this cache

Today myself and ThePacMan decided to head to Melbourne to attempt as many cache types in a day as possible. We were on track to do 9 different types when we were alerted that there was a 30+ cache series published. the urge to get many FTF's was greater than the 9th last type that we needed.
This landed up being our 2nd one for the different cache types

After hosting a 9-10-11-12-13 event in Geelong this morning, I teamed up with CT_ZA and we decided to tackle as many different event types as we could in one day. The aim was 9 types. After the event, we headed to Melbourne where we did a letterbox hybrid, a multi, an earthcache, a traditional, a whereIgo, a webcam and a virtual. We completed 8, and in the end just missed the 9th type - an easy mystery cache [B)] !
We had actually done a mystery puzzle earlier in Wiliamstown, but the container was muggled and had no logbook so that didn't count. Late at night, while on our way to finish off an elusive mystery before midnight, we were alerted to a new roadside series published near the Otways. So do we finish the mystery and accomplish the rare opportunity to get 9 cache types in a day, or do we stop now and go chase some FTFs?
After a brief discussion, and with CT_ZA not yet having logged a FTF on any cache, the temptation was too good to resist! We headed to the series, and I ended the night logging 20 FTFs instead of 9 cache types in one day ! Sometimes cachers have to make tough choices ...
This letterbox hybrid was cache type #2 of 8 for the day. I couldn't find it initially, but CT_ZA soon had his hands on it.
Thanks for the cache, Cyber Spriggan.

Coming back home from a friends kids party and was driving right my a letterbox cache. Only my 4th one ever so had to drop in and get it. A game of cricket was going on way over on the oval but that didn't stop us making the find and signing the log.
Thanks for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

GPS was all over the place but used my caching sense and found this one. No trackable in this cache. Thanks for the cache and your efforts.
# 911 When work told me I had to go to Melbourne, I wasn't that keen, but I figured I could go down a few days early and visit my parents that I haven't seen in 6 years. Then there was the opportunity to grab some caches, especially those special types that we don't see often around home. I started looking at what badges, awards etc I could claim.....
1 x cache in Victoria = Vic Souvenir, Sapphire Australia Badge, Platinum Long distance Badge.
1 x Earthcache = Gold Earthcache Master Status. 4 x = Gold Badge
3 x Virtual caches = Silver Badge
2 x Letterbox caches = Ruby Badge
1 x Whereigo = Silver Badge
1 x Cam cache = Silver badge
10 x cache types in a day = Sapphire Badge
This afternoon, I picked up another Letterbox and then followed the Munzee trails collecting some 3500 points. Then it was a quick run through the city to collect those special types of caches before taking the hire car back. Won't need it once I start working tomorrow morning.
Once again, I didn't need another Letterbox to fulfill my goals, but these types of caches are few and far between back home so I claimed the easy find on route to another Earthcache.

I think this my first letterbox hybrid!!
Fairy easy find.
One thing I find distracting when driving around looking for caches is when it is hard rubbish collection time. I'm always looking at the stuff lying around wondering if I could make a cache out of it.

Today I visited the Melbourne 4 x 4 Outdoors Show at the Showgrounds in Flemington.
I picked up a couple of caches before and a couple more afterwards.
This was the 3rd of 4 for the afternoon.
After leaving the show, which was very interesting but highlighted that my spending priorities are probably out of line with most of the attendees, I set off for this one.
When I arrived I realised that I'd been here before, but without luck.
No problems this time however.
Thanks Cyber Spriggan.

Was a bit worried about this location being a Saturday morning. There was nothing to worry about however as all was very quite. Had a double win this morning, this was only my second letterbox hide and I found my very first ( thanx Squalid) pathtag !! Very rewarding experience. Good on ya Cyber Spriggan. TFTC.
Find 831 at 21:18. I was out caching with Burge tonight for a quick run around the Maribyrnong area to pick up a few of the new caches that have been published since our last visit. We found 7 caches in just over an hour which was pretty good going. This was our fourth find for the night and only my third letterbox cache ever. We had both actually been to this cache on a previous occasion but were unable to find it due to high muggle activity nearby. Tonight the area was dead quiet and after a short search, we had found what we were looking for. I thought the container was a bit of a bold hide given it wasn't particularly camoflagued where we found it. Nevertheless, we signed the log and replaced it out of sight.
Thanks for the cache, Cyber Spriggan!

After trying this one months ago while there was a party at the house wasn't a good idea. This time it was a quick easy grab with pantherx tftc tnln sl
On a nice walk I stumbled across this one, nice cache with no trackables as stated!! Plenty of muggles with a local footy game on but they are too busy watching the game!!
There was a game on here today, and heaps of cars, but everybody was a bit further away and looking in the other direction luckily. Not having stamps we drew a couple of trademark pictures. Took the TBs to move on too - thanks for the cache.
GZ was way out. Left 2 TB. The logs said TB but there was none in when we found it.

Between some retail therapy at Queen Victoria Market and a visit to relatives, we couldn't resist looking for some caches. A muggle in the adjacent came out with dog as we walked into to park area. Waited till he lost interest in us and went back inside and we then made a quick find.
Satellites today had our GZ 10m east north east of where we found the container located.
FEEDBACK TO CO: Cache container is no longer as described in your cache notes.

I have only recently acquired a suitable stamp for stamping the log book at Letterbox Hybrids and now that I have, I seek them out when I am nearby. Today I was working in Moonee Ponds so I just had to come this way afterwards.
Found the cache with no trouble at all...not enough trouble to be honest! I am not sure if it is "winter die back" or someone is trying to kill off the ivy but either way, there is hardly enough cover to hide the cache.
Anyway, I stamped the cache log book with my stamp and my lob book with the cache stamp and put everything back and hid it as best I could.
Thanks to Cyber Spriggan for going to the trouble of putting in a Letterbox Hybrid because there isn't enough of them...

Good hiding spot. Could do with a new ziplock bag, but aside from that, all good.
First find of the month. I teamed up with al.grimes and his GeoGF to grab this one while we were in the area. My cracked rib stopped me from properly scouring the area but Alex wasn't so hindered and had the cache in hand. No stamp so I did a small drawing - my 'signature' drawing, as it were - and added Walter's stamp to a new sheet of paper. Thanks for the cache - my first letterbox hybrid!
Searched a while at the wrong place but found it eventually. As I do not have a stamp, I drew a post stamp in the logbook. TFTC!
Found awesome stuff in the cache! Took a toy car and left some bubbles and bouncy balls! Thanks for the cache
Being from Brisbane it was exciting to see that this letter box cache wasn't too far from where we were staying in Melbourne. Before heading out the Great Ocean Road we excitedly came here. After a quick search our excitement turned to disappointment. Having found a few nice letter box caches in Brisbane we were looking forward to find a letter box with a challenging task to open it. As we approached GZ we notice a regular sized sistema box laying on the ground with this cache name on it. Definitely not what we expected. After signing the log we replaced the cache so it's out of sight to people passing through. In our opinion this should be classified as a traditional cache instead of a letter box but we'll take a letter box find. TFTC
Fund nice little seat to sit and watch last bit of the sunset while we signed the log or shoud I say stamped the log. TFTC my 3rd letter box cache
I had to cover a lot of the linear feature before I arrived at the cache. I cleaned up quite a lot of rubbish from the bushes. Thanks Cyber Spriggan.
Whilst caching in the area we found this cache as it was easy to see due to lack of leafy cover! We took the Geocoin and a TB and left a TB. Our 1st letterbox hybrid - have found 2 post boxes with a key needed to open them - one was in Bundaberg last August when on holidays and it may not be there now. Made sure cache was well rehidden.
TFTC Cyber Spriggan and for bringing us to this area.

Travelled with Leb_hustla06 to the park in the night and found the container after a few minutes of exploring. Our first experience with trackable items so we collected a bug and in are in the process of sending it on its way to the next destination!
Searched for this one a couple of weeks ago with LFC_Gizmo, but were unable to find it. We could swear that it wasn't there, but maybe just didn't see it at night (and expected it to be a lot smaller - we were quite stunned when we read afterwards, that it is the size of an ice-cream container). Came back today with my wife and we pretty much found it right away.
Daz found this one while I fussed around with my GPS trying to get a decent bearing. My first mailbox. we stamped our notebook, our hands and everything else we had at hand, and tarted up our log signiing to match. Thanks for this one.
5879 + 687 = 6566. Found on a wander around Melbourne during a long weekend visit.
I always enjoy finding a Letterbox Hybrid so after finding a few caches around Southbank I ventured up this way for this one. While there were many muggles around watching the local cricket match none were looking in this direction and it was a quick find. Very Nice Cyber Spriggan - Thanks !! A Favourite Point from me !

This is the fourth Letterbox Hybrid that I have found. It was located just as a light shower passed through meaning that the area was nice and muggle free. I don't have a stamp so just added my name to the log. Thanks to Cyber Spriggan for the cache.

Planned to get this one while family was at a (sortof) nearby school fete, so I had chucked a stamp in the car to use. It was still there (in the car, some 6km away) when I made the find... so annoyed at myself that I totally forgot to find and use the stamp in the box.... Kids will like it, we'll come back another day. Thanks.
nice hide. geodaughter loved the stamp on hand . found it happyjester. tftc tnlt
It was pretty to easy to work out roughly where it would be hidden, and thankfully it didn't take long to find it, for I felt quite conspicuous. I don't have my own stamp, so used the one provided. Thanks for a rare letterbox find!

Out with my caching wingman Ahomburg once more and today's mission was to complete the GCA "Pet Rock" power trail series at Brimbank Park. On the drive over to Brimbank we found a few caches along the way. This was the first cache found today and being a Letterbox type we were keen to stop and find it. Notice a geo trail once at GZ but somehow ignore it but a few minutes later Ahomburg follow it and yep there is was. The GZ offers some great camo for a cache and I just couldn't see it on first glance. TFTC crazykd359

Wow, my first Letterbox find!!!
What a large cache hidden in such a clever spot. As noted by a previous log, that a patch almost clearly defines where to find that cache.
There were a few people in the neraby park that didn't really take any notice of me walking accross the road with the cache in hand back to the car to sign the log and get a toy lion to place in it.
Sorry no stamps from me for this one. TFTC!

Find # 2315
Today, my caching buddy SedgwickDave and I were headed for Brimbank Park to find the 26 GCA Caches that had been placed there. It started as a rainy morning but ended up as a beautiful sunny day. but first thing is first, find a few caches on the way. Also, as is also a requirement for our caching runs is to find at least three different cache types. We managed five today... Trad, Multi, Puzzle, Earth and Letterbox.
We arrived at GZ, but had to wait for a couple of walking muggles to pass by before we could search. A nice easy find once the coast was clear.
Thanks to Cyber Spriggan for the Letterbox. took Nothing, left a stamp in the log sheet.

Came looking on my way home from night shift. Felt very conspicuous scratching round, so will come back under the cover of darkness. One muggle approached me, and (referring to the uniform I was wearing) said, "Finished your first round, and about to start your second round of checks". I was about 15 metres from GZ at the time.
Caught a #57 tram out of the city to do a couple of cache's in the Maribyrnong area. This was the second find and was located in a nicely sheltered area where I couldn't be seen by the cricketer muggles on the oval. I liked finding a large container, thanks CS! Left Super Sic TB, took nothing.

The bananas would love to have their stamp ready for this one but in the excitement of cup day had left behind some of the essentials required for the day. The main purpose for the day was a punt up the river to see the gorgeous crowd but while in the area geocaching again got a look in.
Thanks to Cyber Spriggan for the effort of locating this treasure as the container is in excellent condition and surprisingly does not require any additional camouflage.
Again B2 would have loved to have a stamp on board but perhaps another day.

First letterbox cache for me and had no idea how they worked. I understand now though!
Searched around for a little bit, but a bit of a worn path alerted us to the fact that many people must have been here searching before us. TFTC
Found this one today. I think the coordinates may be out a bit on this cache but followed a geotrail and found it okay. I didn't have a stamp with me so I just signed the logbook and didn't trade anything. Thanks for the cache Cyber Spriggan.
After spending a lot of time in the Bayside area recently, Burge and I decided it was time to head back around Melbourne's West to pick up some of the newer caches in the area (and some of the older ones we haven't had a chance to get to!). We were targeting traditionals and this was DNF number 6 for the evening on a night that produced nearly as many DNF's as it did finds!
Having never found a letterbox cache before I was keen to get this one but there were too many muggles out in the yard of the neighbouring property for us to log it tonight. We'll be back to give it another try soon.

On a caching night out with waffle eggs.
I had been wanting to find this one for a while to add to my letterbox total but didn't realize we were near this one until it came up on the screen so we needed to go and find it.
We were off to GZ, once there it was a bit of a walk back and forth, then it was in for the find which went well, we had the log signed, no stamp and the cache replace quickly.

It's quite dark now and we are just about done for the day. W was worried we would be spotted by the folks down the far end of the carpark that looked like they may have broken down. We tried to be stealthy and not flash the torches around too much. I used the clue and then found the very large. Well hidden cache which we both added our stamps too. Not often you find a letterbox hybrid I must say. TFTC Cyber Spriggan TNLN SL
Found today with Landau351 on our "it is possible to cache in a Smart Car" Sunday afternoon jaunt around the inner city.
Was pretty dark when we got here so had to hunt with torches and Landau351's pokey stick. tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, clunk .... ahhh ha.

Not sure if I didn't rummage hard enough, or what? Maybe put off by the old lady dog walking around the intersection of the nearby streets!

Nice and deserted this morning, so an easy grab.
Pete the penguin's footprints made a fair substitute for a stamp, I hope.

The box is still there, found it quickly thanks to the clue.
Thanks for hiding.

After a find nearby I zipped up here for another pre-work meeting cache. Rain was a bit thicker by this stage so I dashed out for a look-see. Coordinates had me in the middle of nowhere but I explored it a bit further around and there were a few possible places. Unfortunately my ipod (which contains my cache notes) had gone flat on me so I had not idea what I was looking for or the clue - And with the rain getting me drenched (not a good look for the meeting!), I wasn't too inclined to go and start rummaging around in wet undergrowth, so decided to move on to the next one....
Pity - I could do with another letterbox hybrid!

Future Music Festival is a loud one huh? I heard it all the way here - some guys inviting me to join them down a few beers - I had to turn them down though, maybe next time.
