First DNF of the day. GPS had me in the middle of the road expanded the search to a likely hiding spot but still no cache. Even searched a few more hidey holes that didnt match the terrain rating but came up empty. TFTC!
Today we headed out on our as the others in our group had spectific caches to find, most of which we have already found and as we do not own a yak there was four that did not suit us.
Our plan for the day, well open the GPS and click on the nearest unfound cache and this is the pattern we followed throughout the day. We found all the caches we attempted, some were found much easier than others. We drove through and saw beautiful scenery, birds, magnificient trees, dusty roads and many many flies.

Today, a small group headed out past Swan Reach and Loxton collecting a few geocaches. We then returned to my vehicle in Truro, and I then spent the next few hours visiting Truro, Angaston, and Nuriootpa picking up a few target geocaches, Adventure Lab Locations (waypoints), and a few others just along the way. A long day out and about in warm-ish weather.
A quick park and grab whilst travelling along this road. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Grandeeze for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Another quick find. The log was a bit scabby and has seen better days so added a new one to the container. Thankyou for the cache SnappyTomCats found 18 October 2020 17:11
Good little cache. Note pads getting a bit frail but still safe. The k for the fun
Another trip to Daveyston and beyond was organised with Doctor Owl and sushilord to find those caches we didn't get to last time after an unfortunate mishap.
The roads were all dry today and on a beautiful day for caching we managed a good number of finds travelling the back roads and visiting some very nice locations. [^]
After a lunch stop at Truro bakery we headed south for a few more on our way to Angaston and back to Nuriootpa.
A quick find and an interesting story.
Thanks for the cache Grandeeze.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Staying for the week in Nuriootpa with our friends SnappyTomCats. This week is Streak Week, Day 6, and we are out for the day with our hosts.
Maintenance run for STC, Mr D found the cache in good condition. Thanks for looking after this cache and another great day. Fave point for the funny story

We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Now visiting in Tanunda, today we set about exploring the area using Geocaching as our guide.
With a late start it was midday before we finally set off. Sun shining 18degrees but alas by the time we made our return it was drizzling for our last few finds.
We were also running out of petrol with the orange light on but we kept going for just 1 more. Lol. All caches were found in good condition making it a very enjoyable day out caching.

Was lucky to come along as cache was out on ground. Easy find now. Log was a little damp from todays rain. Tftc
While waiting for friend to finish work decided to collect a few caches in the area.
The GPS says that it is on the wrong side of the road but otherwise it was pretty good
After a short meeting at work, took off with Jack to find some caches.
Had another look around here, just in case we missed it last time.
The rain may have helped a tiny bit, as I caught a glimpse of a very buried cache
out of the corner of my eye... Mr Presser is still here!!!

Looks like this cache got sick of not being found and decided to go and get lost
Been replaced now and is ready to be found, Enjoy

A big fat DNF for me amongst signs that firewood has recently been taken from here.
Beautiful scenery with a family of six kangaroos bounding through the paddock. I don't know what flower/tree was flowering but the smell of it was delicious. TFTC!
Out with locus, clare007, 3LG and Earthlight for a day of caching. We attacked the Barossa region knowing that everyone would be able to get their fair share of caches. One of our party left at around four in the afternoon due to pre-existing commitments while the rest of us charged on to just before midnight, at which point we shut down the GPSr and made our way home. A great day with this one easily being my busiest caching day in terms of finds.
This find was number 67 of the full 99 for the day. TFTC Grandeeze!

Caching the area with Earthlight, Locus cache & RideTheGeoWalrus.
It was a rather mild night, lucky for us no mosquitoes.
Mr Presser sounds like an interesting guy, certainly entertaining.

Heading to the Barossa with Aussie M&M, Team707 and bennieboy to fill in a few gaps. Mr Presser sounds like a bit of a laugh. Thanks for the info Grandeeze.
There seems to be a common theme with a lot of the caches today. This was a similar find to some of the others. TFTH.
Found while on afternoon jaunt with brisal5, Aussie M&M and Bennie Boy. Picked this one from the car. TFTC
Found on a day of exploring backroads in the area, nice location, TFTC Grandeeze.
Took a window of clear-ish skies to clean up a few on the dirt roads between Moculta and Angaston. We have a friend in the Presser family, perhaps this sort of cheekiness runs true in the family? Thanks again, Grandeeze.
Found it's hidey place quickly on a delightfully peaceful liitle piece of road. Left a little car, took lizard, signed the log and off to the next. TFTC.
Found by Mary & David at 1120. What a fantastic character. He would be a wonderful addition to Mary's Nursing Home. Reminds her of another old gentleman, Jim, who often liked to sit at the front door of the nursing home wearing only a tie. He would refuse every enticement to add more clothes or to move, because he wasn't happy about his horse. Mary soon worked out the trick, and would 'lead' the imaginary horse to a pot plant or basin and Jim would follow. Our thanks to Grandeeze.
We were very fortunate that we were able to get a few extra days off after Easter and after attending the Oz Mega event for the first four days we decided to head across to this part of the country and spend a few days picking up some local caches in the Riverland area. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and we are now heading home hoping to grab a few more caches on the way.
We have met a few characters on our travels especially through the top end but like Mr Presser who could spin yarn after yarn that you never got tired of waiting to see what else they would come up with. Unfortunately this is a dying breed now, it's great to have a cache that recognizes one. The cache itself was a nice easy find in an obvious location.
Our thanks to Grandeeze for the cache and for a laugh.

After restocking the pantry with some dried fruit we headed east into unchartered country for us. Had a good look for possums but none today. Found the cache and left some swaps. Thanks
It's characters like this that make life fun

A pleasant interlude in our tour of the Barossa Valley. This road is looking a treat at the moment. I would love to do this road on a wet wet morning.
A lovely spot with all the lambs spilling out onto the embankment.
They obviously felt the grass was greener on the other side.
The all scuttled back through the fence when we pulled up.
