Did not find, not enough time between grader passing by going up and down the road. Will try again.
Nice quick find with AlpiSteve on our way to the White Horse.
Uh ohhhhh...yup I got zapped!!! Seems to be a common thing with caches in and around Oamaru Great fun hahaha TFTC erninz

Spotted road kill in the form of a wallaby followed by a live one while driving up the road. Just be careful when bending down for the cache as there is an electric fence at noggin height when you do so. Quite a mild shock though. All good with the cache.
Finished my work in Waimate, so decided to go for a trip up to see the White Horse. Found on way up. Tftc
Down from Auckland for another blitz upon the PWGT caches and other caches that appeal to us. On this trip there is FMZ, rustynz, Rebel98 and myself in Christchurch for 3 days of fun and another adventure.
A quick stop heading to the virtual cache and the multi. I was sitting on the LH side of the car, so volunteered to hop out here to find the cache on our behalf. No worries with the hide here today.

Thankfully even though a big storm had come thru last week, so far no problems getting around (even went over the slump on the Ashburton bridge a couple of times with no problems.
A bit like the cache, happy to earn the smiley. Thanks for the hide, with a group of Westies on a mini adventure

I found this cache on my way down the hill after claiming the nearby Virtual.
Definitely a bonus to have other caches up here ! Thank you, erninz.

We were visiting friends in Waimate for the night and after checking progress on their new house they drove us up to the White Horse for a look. Of course I fired up C:geo just to check.
I'd had no luck with the traditional near the horse so answered the questions on the multi close by while I was at it. I now have the coords ready for next trip - the muggles were cold and thinking about dinner so no time to get to GZ today.
They might have been hungry but they DID stop here for me to at least find ONE cache up here. Thankfully I did find it, and quite quickly too. Phew!

It was so foggy I could see no more than 20m ahead but the drive was cool and the cache quickly found.

We stayed last night in Waimate, and this morning drove up the hill to the Waimate White Horse Memorial. After completing the caches at the top, we stopped for this one on our way down. Easy find of the cache, then down, down, down. TFTC
Heading northwards and tonight I’m in Waimate.
Too hot to do too much, but the local reward Virtual is a goer as it’s possible to drive to it.
Did the nearby multi-cache but missed the Trad here. Must’ve been hiding under one of the other icons.) I thought this cache was the next nearest.
Easy find. An unusual use of that particular device. All good here. TFTC

Noted that the log was running out of room so left a new sheet. Thanks erninz

Bypassed Vera as I didn't have time for a long search and ended up here. Quick find. From my count there are 4 distinct spaces left and more with shared space but with the new virtual up here there will be more interest in this one. TFTC # 13,950
A wee long weekend family holiday in Oamaru over we were now heading for home via Waimate and a couple interesting walks. After a spot of lunch at the botanic gardens we headed out here to find ourselves a waterfall and then a horse. Had the road to ourselves so easy to make the find and sign. Nice one!
A quick find on an afternoon trip to find some of the caches on this side of Waimate. Signed log, TFTC
Very windy and no where to park the camper, made this cache a little tricky.
Great views from here tftc

Time to explore Waimate and check out some of the caches here. On a nice day (today was not one of those) the views from here would be fantastic.
Cheers for the cache.

Heading up to the monument for a bit of caching. Nice quick find after a bit of a scramble/walk around. TFTC!!

found with axllal today, nice day out caching in the wimo area, cheers for this one.
Found late at night after checking out the link track for a cub walk next day.( didn't do the walk in the end as fog was down low)
We enjoyed the day caching in this area

So many caches done to remember all, but got a kick out of all that we found (0ver 600 in 8 days)

A clever container, wasn't until we signed the Log Book that we noticed hundreds of Eyes looking at us.We had No Eye Deer they were watching from over the Road.Lol
No luck searching skywards... YIKES!!! Our fourth DNF in a row... Too many muggles heading up the hill to enjoy the views after attending the local Strawberry Festival.
A quick find that didn't fool us for a second. We wondered what the deer in the paddock across the road thought of having a diet of turnips. Saw a couple of dead wallabies on the roadside on the way up too.
Roadside signs are few up here and I was drawn to one just short of the White Horses. Worth a look I thought.
Slight detour towards the sky to place a cache on the way back from Waimate to Christchurch. MacPacMum managed the find ahead of PokerNet this time. Weekend Tally PN24 MPM25 Day 241 of MPM's cache a day streak.
A slight detour from the track resulted in another smiley! Logging as part of the Rambler's Reward Challenge.
A quick easy find at the top of the hill. We were impressed by the herd of deer with very large antlers in the paddock across the road. TFTC
Found in the dark heading back down he hill after solving White Horse Multi. Great hide. TFTC
4204. It's always a long way up to the top and not many safe places to park on the way. This was a quick stop rewarded by finding a sneaky little cache.
Thanks

MD granted me a quick stop on the way to the top. Easy find when I saw the cache Cheers Gav [10013]
Arriving at GZ - Oh this will be easy, it's there I announce to the car of muggles. Coords had me somewhere else with a bit of embarrassment, but the clue helped and I quickly came up with the prize to a sceptical audience
Politeness has stopped me from expressing on paper my thoughts about the previous finder. He/she certainly made the retrieval of the cache very difficult!!! The next finder won't find it quite so difficult.
Almost missed this one, but i couldn't leave as this was my 50th cache - enjoyed the hunt, cheers
