Found it after the owner of nearby business told us it was no longer there! TFTC
Glad to turn this blue into a yellow. It definitely wasnt in that spot when I checked last time. Thanks for replacing the cache!
Replaced today - ill see what happens with this one once the redevelopment starts
With the owner confirming the presence of the container, I stopped by to search a little more thoroughly. Was there for 20+ minutes, and came up empty. Also chatted with the owner of the business across the driveway, who asked what I was doing. And we then talked about geocaching, the homeless, and Tesla. Ive contacted the cache owner about concerns for the continued existence of this geocache.
No luck for me today after a brief search which ended early after I was muggled out. After looking at previous found log photos, GZ has changed significantly over the years with a lot of the fence now covered in thick, hard foliage. Will come back again after the CO conducts the maintenance.
I called past today to check on this cache and it is definitely still there, however just a little hard to reach without being attacked by the 8 legged cache guardian. Ill come back in a couple of days with a tool to reach it and some gloves, change its log and put it back in its correct location
Out for an early morning stroll, before it gets too warm.I agree with the last few folks who have attempted to find this. It is almost definitely gone.
Christmas trip to Adelaide 2023. Day 14. Blackwood Day 12. On a very hot day I had planned to go out after lunch to the north of Adelaide. Not my best plan, but there you go. I finished a couple of LAB sets I have had going for some time and then set about some caching. I tried to keep the distance from the car to the caches fairly short, but the sun was pretty vicious and I did not always manage it. I had a few DNFs or just plain stuck moments that also left me in the sun longer than I had hoped. In the end I had a great afternoon and found plenty of caches. \I had a good poke around in the foliage around GZ, but did not managed to see a cache in there. Thanks.Albida
We had been to this drive in many times. As a couple, as a family and with friends. We need 0ne physical cache a day, so while travelling from A- to B this was on the right side for a change. It has at least stopped raining but is very wet.Took a while to find it. We were looking for a small container, not a micro!Cache in hand logged signed , we are happy. Thanks Parislaura for this cache and helping us achieve our goal.
Tricky find. Found TFTC SL with mackay_geocaching. On Holidays from Mackay Qld and travelling the Great Ocean Road from Melbourne to Adelaide and making stops along the way. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment.
Found with alphag_25, in Adelaide today for the last full day of holidays , doing some inner city caches and a couple more slightly out of the city to get some more LGA’s. TFTC.
#16699 - 8:09:00 AM; Returned to South Australia yesterday accompanied by Sol de lune to retrieve the geomobile, which had been in dry dock in Victor Harbour since my previous visit. Now back in action, and after spending the night in Adelaide, we set off this morning headed to Mildura in the reinvigorated geomobile. As we headed out of Adelaide, we decided to add a few counties to our tally. This saw us weaving our way through different parts of the city collecting caches like this one as we went. All were found in good order and returned as found after we had signed the logs. This was our first stop today and only a short wander from the motel. TFTC ParisLaura
In Adelaide with LuckyL10n to pickup a car and driving back to Canberra...and of course that also meant grabbing a few caches. We concentrated on the counties we hadn't been to before, ensuring we grabbed one of two to cross it off the unfound list.
This one was only 100 metres from our motel, so a quick stroll before leaving and the cache was in hand.
Thanks for the memories with this one parislaura......I can remember visiting the old drive-in's in Canberra before they went the way of the dodo. Always a good night....

Out this side of town for a caching afternoon. Cache located, log signed and retuned to its hidey hole. TFTC
Was so worth not telling my mum the clue had anything to do with spiders, haha
Good find though,
Hard to spot until I got a closer look.

Down in the city today for the uni open day, grabbing some caches where we can. 20 finds for today with 6 of those being lab cache stages. This cache is one that was found today.
A quick find at GZ here today. Bit of rain made the mud under foot really bad. All good here otherwise.
Find #4513 on 14 Aug 2022.
TFTC ParisLaura!

Nice sneaky hide.
Pity the Drive in has closed to movie patrons. Still open for the markets etc
8 legged friend wasnt present. Maybe he (assuming it's a he) has moved on as well.

Been after this pine for a while, but always here on the wrong day. Today nice and quiet for a quick grab. TFTC

Decues Wild 2/2
Stopped by for one of the last screenings at a very beloved place. In a way, i'm reliving my childhood as the drive-in in my hometown was a staple of my upbringing but closed as I became a teen. Now this one too! Very sad. Brought my partner along as he's never been to one. We did try to make the Valentine's mystery movie but sadly his work got in them. We then went away to Kangaroo Island and were worried we wouldn't get here before the close. Being an adult sucks, nice to escape that for just one night.... after finally making it here.
TFTC. This was very unsettling one. I did it in the dark as we left and was face to face with the eight legged guard. I could actually see it from a distance but it took a bit to work up the nerve to reach in!
Note to owner: I think it may technically be broken and is placed somewhere it wasn't originally, but still in the same area.

My first film here was the original Jungle Book. It was clear from the spider webs that it had been a while since anybody visited! Thank you, ParisLaura; cache #4000.
Called past to check this one ready to replace but found it was definately still there - watch out for the spider guarding it though
Out and about for one of my semi-regular caching days with geomum, Doctor Owl (and the first one under a new name - something I almost forgot a few times while signing logs). Thankfully there was a lot less time between the previous one and this one as I wasn't stuck in Victoria, as I was this time last year. As is often the case, we didn't really have a plan rather that meadering to a vague area where some caches Doctor Owl was interested in getting, while detouring and stopping for any that we passed which I hadn't got (which to be honest) is a lot of caches).
A nice easy find as there was an obvious location to check. I have only been to the drive-in once. When I was younger, my family and I came to see Prince Caspian here. It was a good experience. TFTC.

Nice little spot - TFTC. No room for swaps. Reminds me to book up to see a movie here!
Found. Thought it was going to be a DNF because recent lawn mowing left heaps of clippings but used the hint to locate. TFTC
hevwalker & I had started out that afternoon and mainly to cache around the Gawler area.
We have previously attempted this one, with no success.
As we were rather close, we decided to attempt this one.
We found it relatively quickly, glad that we did this one Saturday, not Sunday.
Thanks for the cache parislaura, glad to cross this one off the list.

Today clare007 & I were heading North to an event at Gawler...of course collecting a few caches on the way...
This one has been frustrating me for quite some time...I have visited on several occasions but either the cache had been missing or the Drive-In/Markets were on...today was the day I turned my blue frown into a smiley after a quickly located cache...
I remember going to the Drive-In in my formative years...not this one though...I might have to revisit the experience some time...

Wow that's cool! We were here just last night and had no idea! Great spot, cheers cobber.
Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
We now find our selves in the big smoke! So many more caches to find. Booked into the local caravan park for a week, hopefully doing some urban caching while here. Today's goal was to tip toe through a minefield of puzzles, most of which I had not even looked at. Not many traditionals...
After lyunch next door, did not need any popcorn or choc tops, and the stars were not out yet, but no muggles were around either, making it easy to find this cache, despite a decoy (not the cache) being spotted near by. Thanks parislaura for the hide. Love the drive in, fave point awarded

Drive ins, I remember them well, but don’t think I’ve ever been to this one. Thanks for the memories!!
Note to self...don't try to visit this spot early Sunday morning. It is alive with activity getting ready for the markets.
Yes! Good feeling,, a smiley after a DNF. Neat hide. Thank you. A bit of night caching on our way home!
A quick stop in here made for a quick find.
After uni this morning at Mawson lakes I had a few hours to kill before I had to be home, did a few caches around the area but had the Alice in wonderland series as the main aim.

Checked this one and my GZ seems to be replaced by a fence. Ill come back soon and see if I can relocate the cache.
Another DNF on this one today. Looks like a new fence has been erected and new mulch at GZ.
With time to kill before a nearby event what better pass time to indulge in than finding a cache. The other choice was grabbing a donut (or a piece of pie). TFTC
TYFTC SLTNLN had to phone a friend... thanks H423L ...my go go gadget arms from Geopup and flat batteries just were making it harder than if I was in daylight and looking straight ahead!
last time i was here the cache was missing, so i got a photo of the nearby waymark. this time it was here and i got a smilely.
I was on my way out to the badlands to get a few puzzle caches and as I was driving past this one I stopped to find the cache. [^]
I can't remember the last time I went to the drive in, but back in my childhood days it used to be a regular family outing.
Thanks for the cache parislaura.

The cache was sitting out in the open so I slid it in a bit better to hide from prying eyes. Great place. TFTC!
