This is a very smart hide, I love the idea! A very tricky one (if the last finder puts the lid on the cache properly!). Also nice slugs, are they part of the cache? Everything is waterproof and in good condition. TFTC 2ystassies!

Tftc visiting from Melbourne sad to leave today. Will come and visit you again soon
This morning I jogged along this trail from Turners Beach and then after a big rest I headed back to Turners Beach and collected as many of the caches as i could. Sadly 2 eluded me, I think I have an inkling where both are hidden but neither were spots suitable for checking today. Really enjoyed the jog/walk I am not sure if I am getting any fitter but nevertheless feel the exercise must be doing me some good. Other than the 2 dnfs the rest of this series were found quickly with no issues. Many thanks to 2ystassies for the series . TFTC
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Out doing a section of the trail today. Spotted fairly quickly, as we could have been here for a while. Thanks 2y'stassies for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
A cache weve been meaning to grab for months but have always been in a rush when going past. We lust light when we completed the rest of the trail previously. Finally grabbed it tonight after the Ulverstone Christmas parade. Great hide. TFTC Found with LittleBoo17
Another maintenance run today. Thanks membsec for mentioning the wet log in the hide. The container was dried out and the logbook replaced. All is well here now,
Out and about chasing ALs and some caches with a few favourite points or caches close to AL WPs.
A little walk to this one dodging a fallen tree on the way. On our way out a truck passed us and stopped at the tree, we assume to remove it. Clever hide but the log book is wet.

Mr Close-by spotted it straight away. Log is wet, neither our pen or that enclosed will write on the wet paper. TFTC
After a tasty lunch with some good company, it was time to jump on my bike and try and work some of my lunch off
A very nice track to cycle along, at a steady pace, admiring the scenery and finding some caches.

Very cool. Log book is soaked. As cache was up side down and in thistles that had been sprayed
RoadieM and I are enjoying a great few days away, with geocaching on our minds. As we had a park and drive day yesterday on our way to the coast, we decided we would stretch the legs today and do the walk from Turners Beach to Ulverstone, finding caches along the way.
Once again we had to wait while a dog walker, joggers and bike riders went by ... what a popular path! The cattle watched as RoadieM scrambled on her hands and knees (unnecessarily as it turned out). Once she was on her feet she had the interesting cache container in hand and the log was stamped. Thanks again 2y'stassies.

tassietan and I have planned a caching getaway together for some time. We decided to go further afield and after looking around we were drawn to the north coast and the myriad of caches in the area. Having had a long day of driving yesterday we decided to tackle some caches involving a walk and started on this series from the Turners Beach end where we are staying.
We were able to have a rest and a nice seat while I located the cleverly designed cache and we allowed a dogwalking muggle to go past. We are really enjoying this series. The walk is lovely through a variety of areas, and the variety of caches and hides is fun.
Thanks 2y'stassies for the cache and the lovely walk. Have given this cache a favourite point for the construction of this cache, and on behalf of the series in general.

On our second attempt to find this one that has eluded us. A jogging muggle offering a handy hint, turned out to be a fellow geocacher. Found soon after. We should have realised, it was obvious!
This one took longer than it should have but was well hidden, it's a lovely walk along here TFTC
Thanks for this series of caches 2y's tassies.
RLD4963, the two GeoGSP's and I are spending a few days in the northwest. We decided to do this track with myself walking the dogs, and RLD4963 on his e-scooter (which is easier on his knees).
A good cache container - no muggles in sight, so we were able to make the find, sign the log, and return it to it's hiding place.

Out and about caching with all the Rafas for our holidays TFTC TNLN log dry, a trial run with a scooter saw this an easy task to get to.
About to give up after trying every sneaky sort of thing we could think of
But at the last gasp found it
Not seen one like this before
Very ingenious
Log is damp but ysusble

Found this one with a few stops searching as there is a quite a fee smugglers about being a Sunday. Avery clever cache.
Headed out on the bike to pick up some puzzle caches I had solved around Forth. Got distracted by this series and some others along either side of the river so never made it to the puzzles - but they will be there for another day.
Another clever hide that has seen a lot of effort in it's creation. TFTC

Tonight DEZ055 and i decided to take the geodog for a walk along the Ulverstone to Turners Beach walking path, we managed to find most of them. the only ones we didn't locate was 1 & 6 because for some reason they weren't in our GPS, but that gives us an excuse to come back and walk the path again.
We had a quick look here but with Muggles approaching we decided we would look for it on the return walk, when we got back we starting looking in the obvious place but no cache, after scratching around DEZ055 came up with the cache. Clever idea. TFTC

I couldn't find this cache on my outward walk towards Cache 4 and Cache 3. On my return there was a worker in a ute parked nearby which prevented me from making further search so I'll have to come back again.
Interesting that we checked this cache on 13 February and all was OK. However three days later it is reported that the log is wet. We checked today and the cache is damp but still usable. However as we will be away for nearly two months, we have replaced the logbook. Thanks TasCoders for the alert.
Out for a walk with Geodog #1.
Handy that there’s so many seats to sit and write the logs from.
Coastal track here is very nice and well maintained.

On a mini-maintenance run tonight. Apart from a lack of covering over the cache, all was well with #5.
8 caches from this trip. 7 from the Ulverstone to Turner's beach series and a giant trackable hotel. It was a rainy day today so I had my raincoat on while riding my bike.
I have seen this type of cache before in devonport. Very sneaky but easy to find from a cachers perspective. Thanks for a great cache this gets a favourite point from me. TFTC!!

Back on the track to search out a few more of the Pathway #'s
Knew where to look and found the partly exposed hide quickly. All good except log a bit damp and water in the container as well. Added a moisture absorber which may help and took the time to rehide properly, which might solve the wet problem. TFTC 2y'stassies.

Our last day in northern Tassie we cached along the coast east from Goat Island to Don. We found a great variety of caches, learnt about the history of the area and enjoyed the brilliant coastal views while managing to dodge the showers, working out how many caches within dry riding distance from a couple of parking spots. A FP for design and placement here.
Thanks to '2y'stassies' for placing this cache on the geo-gameboard.

Today we were on the road and visited this beautiful series of caches. We always found interesting hiding places.
Overall, we visited many caches today, so we apologize for the unit log.
Many thanks for bringing and saying say the Moorhelmi's from Germany.

After leaving Devonport for Boxing Day shopping for the day. I decide to walk along the path to the end of Ulverstone to catch up some caches. Very warm day. Found it. Thank 2y'tassies for placing the cache
Excellent cache and series. I enjoyed the walk with purpose this morning. Visiting from NY. Tftc.
Very hidden but eventually located. Cool construction however log was a bit wet, still signed.
Tasmania Trip Day 10 - after some very good caching so far it was now time to begin to really enjoy the area so it was off with the bike and the young member of the team was on his own for a few more smilies.
This was a great way to travel on a bike along the coast and see some good hides.
Thanks 2y'stassies for placing this sereis and a great series it was to do. (sorry for cut and paste logs)

Hint made this one so quick and easy to find.
Out for a nice Autumn day walk with my niece a new geocacher and her boyfriend(Samara & Chandler) So 2 children & 3 Adults working together we thought we could grab all of these caches. We only had 1 DNF at number #8 that we will have to come back for. Thanks 2y’stassies for all the effort gone into this group so many different types of geocaches.

On a sunny morning this was turning out to be a popular pathway
Fortunately this little spot was free of resting muggles,
and a quick find of the cache was made
A cheeky little cache hide too !! [^]

Mum and I came out geocaching for the day. We bought the MTB bikes to do the trail and was a nice and easy ride and enjoyed all the finds along with way! It’s a pity that not all of them are along the trail!
Still smarting from our failure at the previous cache, we approached this one with some trepidation, but all was well and we located the cache just like that. TFTC
Back home after being in Tassie for a holiday, now the daunting task of logging all our finds, sorting through the scraps of paper with notes on them.
Had a few days of sunshine, a lot of days of rain, ended up with just over 105 finds all up on this trip, and visited many tourist spots in the north of Tassie.
last day in Tassie....
found this cache in good order
no muggles about. Quick find.
thanks to 2y'stassies for this cache

Another ride to Turners Beach so another opportunity to pick up a cache along the way. Nice how each of these is a little different. Nice hide and all in order. Thanks 2y'stassies.
Bit of a challenge and the cache of the day in terms of hide location and originality of construction.. thanks..!!
