Logs

15-Oct-12
After checking this area the other day decided it is time to put this one to rest.

04-Jul-12
It appears that the chair this was on is no longer there. So will have to come up with something else.

27-Jun-12
Looked under everything possible, and then some. No find today, will come back.

12-Jun-12
Didn't manage to find this one. There were no muggles to hinder my search, but I failed to find it. My GPS had me in an open patch, so I didn't know where to look. So I looked all over, but with lots of wet wood chips, it was quite difficult to check some places. Hopefully the cache is still there.

19-Mar-12
Sunny day and parents with kids on the playground make this very difficult. Didn't really attempt.

24-Feb-12
Nice quite little park. Quick grab on this 1 tftc

Another find on our big day. Found cache but the log is getting a little bit tatty. SL TFTC Gonefishen07

16-Jan-12
Our first of this type. Tftc. Didn't sign log as it seemed full.

07-Jan-12
Park was empty, so quick find. Then the muggles arrived. TFTC.

04-Jan-12
Found by Mary & David at 0905. Dodged more showers here. Another micro, but the park was deserted, so we were able to find it quickly. Think our 2 year old grandson would like it here. Our thanks once more to Gonefishen07.

01-Jan-12
As we pulled up the Chief guessed where the cache would be and that's what he checked first...bingo! This was one quick stop, it was blissfully quiet here so I am glad it took him a while to roll the log back up. TFTC

Nice quick find.

Thanks Gonefishen07

27-Dec-11
Joint find at 6.40pm on December 27 Big Grin with Jimmymaff while on a drive around South Gippsland hunting for caches to help Jimmymaff find his 800th cache. (This wasn't it though but his 800th is seriously close - only 2 to go now.)

A lovely little park for kids to play. Today, there were only two big kids, with a GPS each, hunting to find a very small container. It did take us a while (this could have been due to the very strong hunger pains overtaking both of us) and we really only found it after we'd sat and relaxed for a few moments.

Thanks Gonefishen07 for this caching and for bring us to this part of Leongatha. Time for Dinner now ................

This was a case on returning to the scene of the crime as I had a dnf here a while back. Fredd01 came up with the find which really was quite kind. I must stop thinking all cache hiders are mean like me lol. Thanks Gonefishen07 for the hunt (x2)

07-Dec-11
After eliminating one area, I tried another, then made an easy find on a third. My GPS was showing 7m but for mine that is not too bad. In the days before Sirf chips 15m was considered acceptable. Nowadays people worry about 3m, which given the nature of the System, is just asking way too much.

It has been fun making a few finds in a row around this interesting town.

A quick find once you rest and think about it. TFTC

Rain falling but my geokids were still keen. I put my knee in something nasty while trying to find it but my eldest boy was onto it fast. Nice little Nano! TFTC SL Smile

funny how some days your left scratching your head and other days its right there .. Was in a spot neglected to check last time due to someone's insistence that his gps gz was correct, it wasnt (sorry maffy) and we had left pretty quick, today was found very easy and quickly with gps iphone being very kind to me TFTminiH...
Dragged a muggle friend along today who signed log and also and loves caching just doesnt have the equip. etc needed yet.
Log was very tight to get out, lucky the ole swiss army knife was at hand and used tweezers to get it out.
When I finally get me a nano Im gonna take out half the log before hiding it. A beautiful sunny and hot day, perfect for caching.. Thanks Gonefishen07'.

Found @ 3:43pm. find # 1066
On a day out in Gippsland, we stopped off at this one for a look around.
Another short visit to another park and a quick search and the cache was in hand took a seat and signed the log on another one of these, it takes longer to get the log back in then it does to find it in the first place.
Thanks again to Gonefishen07 for this cache.

Headed out tonight with C@H for a night caching run across to Leongatha.
Parked the car and made our way over to GZ. C@H was searching in one spot and I widened my search a bit to another likely hiding spot and soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks Gonefishen07.

Out for a late night run with Quasar3671. I looked in the wrong place till quasar made the find in the right place. I have stopped here before but a muggle prevented me from searching . TFTC

Found @ 1400 pm Nice quiet park today. TFTCSL.

09-Jul-11
We were here with the wind still blowing quite strongly which also meant that their were no muggles brave enough to face the elements to use these facilities making for a nice easy search as we tend to bypass this type of cache especially if it's on the play equipment.
Thanks for the cache
