Logs
Found after searching for a while. Needs maintenance. Someone replaced logbook and moved it to a safe location. Still at (around?) the place mentioned.
Out with Joolay and we stopped to grab this cache. We read the previous logs and noticed the cache needed maintenance. New log book put in a strong baggy and left ok no place. Such a weird statue.

Out with Kittykatch doing some Christmas day caching and decided to pick this one up as it was so quiet. Could not find anything so KK left log in zip lock bag in strategic place. Glad to finally have this one. Its high muggle thats for sure. TFTC
Another blue face replaced with a yellow - had no intention of doing this one today but was persuaded by TravelGran who had grabbed it last week. Much easier to find when it is there - ha ha. TFTC
For an extended period of time I have been contemplating how best to attempt this cache - it always seems so busy around the owl!
Today, after a quick visit to a local purveyor of plants, I decided simply to pull over and go have a look. A few moments wait until the traffic flow was favourable and I had the cache in hand. It was at this point that I wished I had read the previous logs - that way I would have known that the log is at 110% capacity! Still, I managed to squeeze my initials into a tiny gap before replacing the cache as found.
As for the artwork - I like it. I'm generally supporter of public art and I like this piece, despite it looking disturbingly like a todger from some angles.

At last turning a sad face into a smiley! Following some health issues, my wonderful friend GerriActive suggested I need a day of caching, and she was correct, so happy for this find to be mine, it is always interesting to see the looks on passing motorists faces as they see one at the base of the "bird"!! Tftc. By the way the log book is full, GerriActive managed to find a small square!
Great to be out with Travelgran and to find this one so we could both register a smiley. Found the smallest spot to sign on a very full log. TFTC
Today was a pleasant sunny day and perfect for a 'top down' trip across Belconnen picking up some the of the new caches placed since my last trip, as well as some of the puzzles that have finally been solved.
All caches found without too much fuss, being on the coordinates. I was surprised at the age of some of them.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache

Nice little find with the fan and a bit of local history to go with it. Helps if you take a little one with you
This is certainly tiny, and happily easy enough to find knowing what sort of container it is. I pretended to sit and read the plaque quite intently, dodging the heaviest of the traffic to actually retrieve and replace the container. TNLN, TFTC. (And apologies for the late posting.)
A quick find at night after dinner out without the kids. Go past here all the time but have never stopped to really look til now. TFTC!
Apologies for the late log. I had a trip to Canberra in the middle of winter to visit my wife who had a six week study placement there. This was my last day in town and after an early morning walk to try some challenges caches I was on my way back to where we were staying. I had passed by here a couple of days earlier and had scoped out a parking space. Nice and quiet here today apart from a few passing cars and I was soon able to find this one at GZ. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Bruce's Run.
It’s was difficult to find as it was really small but my 11 year old brother found it!
After two DNFs earlier tonight I’m glad I was able to find this one easily for my daily cache (#348). I parked over at the nearby carpark and walked over. Still a bit of traffic about at this time of night. Hopefully they just figured I was an odd admirer of the bird. The cache was quickly found but of course with ones of this size, the hardest bit is adding a name to the log and then rolling it back up again. Took me ages. Then the next morning after a discussion with my son, he showed I was one day ahead which made me wonder whether I wrote the correct date on this log. I felt like I wrote 24th but it was actually the 23rd. Oh well. TFTC
Went to find it when a whole group of 30 or so bike riders were about to begin their ride from this spot. Tries to be stealthy but I’m sure some people were wondering what we were up to.
Easy find more history thanks. Definitely beware the nasty spiky thorns on the grass.
Looked kinda dodgy poking around the owl but was worth it

Found on a lovely day visiting Canberra. Busy intersection but easily retrieved. TFTC
Out shopping with Dino and needed a cache. A nice cache and a quick find. All in good order.
Last time we tried this one was missing. So thank you for replacing it!

We don’t look suspicious at all at least the police didn’t seem to think so when they drove past *wipes brow*
That was a tense one!! TFTC!
Found with LaurenKatelyn and palm23011975

Quick find with epzccc131 and palm23011975. We were panicking about the couple of cars driving past and then whilst signing the log, police drove past thankfully they continued on their way
Just as we finished logging find, another police car drove past and asked if we were ok
Down in Canberra for the Wall to Wall and this cache was near my hotel
So micro but found and signed

Thank you to the CO for maintaining this cache. The statue is such a landmark and glad the cache is so sneakily hidden in this prominent place. Tftc.
Maintenance done. Cache is active again. Look for the small magnetic nano in the grove above the plaque.
Good Day,
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Looking forward to hearing from you,

We had put this off owing to the lengthy absence between finds and the line of DNFs. There's only so many places a nano can be and I think we searched them all. For no luck. Now we are heading to the library and thinking about getting the kayak out for a practice in readiness for Springdale island event next week.
Dino and I went carefully along all the sensible places given the hint but nothing to be found.
Thank you Bruce's Run for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

We searched high and low, must have looked a sight to all the cars passing by! Have to check out the posted photos better for next time!
Found with aramil. Log too full to sign, here's photographic evidence that we found it.
Quick find after dinner with spot on coords. Needs a new log - left some pink ink on it. Was going to log a needs maintenance but after reading past logs it seems it's been full for over 12 months & there's already been a few needs maintenance logged. Great hide. Hope it's maintained. Tftc
I cycled over to Belconnen for lunch with friends and took the opportunity to seek out some geocaches in the Arboretum and around Jameson. The tally was five. This cache was a straightforward find, being more or less on the coordinates. Thank you Bruce's Run for installing and maintaining this cache.
I went for a lunchtime stroll and came past here for a look. I thought I might be a bit conspicuous standing out here in the middle, but thankfully it was an easy find. Aside from that I just looked like someone admiring the bird. TFTC.
Tftc. Quick find tonight, but no room left on log to sign. Have attached photo as proof of find.
Not our fastest find but we got there super cool bird!! Tftc found with B0tmun
The log book is full, there is no space for any more initials even in boxes that have already been signed.
Staying nearby and my son and I approached this sculpture from behind while walking and tried to guess what it was. Thanks for bringing us in for a closer look.
Out and about with my besty, Happy Uke, again today. We were out to catch a whole swag of caches and brag about it to all and sundry.
We were off to Canberra again today and decided to get some on the way south.
Thanks!

Finalf29 and I decided on the spur of the moment to cache in Canberra and visit some friends there as well. Left a lot later the I was planning (we did the Helensburgh puzzle series yesterday). Nice drive down with a few park and grabs along the way. Great company with Finalf29 as my wingman... found 12 but also a few dnf's... but still an enjoyable day.
This was my seventh for the day. Finally made it to Canberra and decided to grab some near our friends before we dropped in on them. I was worried about this one due to the road works, but access is still ok. Felt very exposed, but I don't think muggles pay much notice... they just want that traffic light to turn green. Had to give a full circuit (isn't it the way) before the cache was spotted... still didn't take long though. The log is very full. Thanks

I've passed this so many times, but never been in a position to stop. This late afternoon/early evening I decided to change this. There was no way to avoid the fact that there was a lot of activity around, with peak hour traffic passing by our queued at the lights. But I adopted my "ignore them and they can't see you" approach and became invisible. Besides, how many drivers are really going to pay genuine attention to some guy in a suit poking around the base of a giant owl?
After a short search I made a quick and easy find. The log is full - I managed to sign over a previous entry that had faded into complete illegibility. TFTC
