We woke today to quite cool and foggy morning so we decided to wait around for things to warm up a bit.It was then we received a phone call from a family member traveling south that they were heading through Stanthorpe and would we like to catch up for a coffee. We never pass up the opportunity to catch up with family so it was on! They suggested we meet at a place in Thulimah, and we duly did. This set the agenda for the day. We decided afterwards to head further north up to Dalveen before working our way back home along the Fruit Run. It was only about halfway through the series we realized that there were fruit stalls all along the route, some open but many obviously no longer operational. We guess a new highway finished many of them!We collected a few other caches along the way as well.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Team Robins.**SKI Pair****
Ge time has gone by quickly. This is our 7000 find. Signed and replaced as found. Tftc
When I first started caching, I struggled to find the caches put our by Team Robins, but obviously my "Geo-senses" are improving because I found this one quite easily! TFTC
Drove past, chucked a u-ey and made a quick find for this one. Spring is definitely spring across the road.

We are staying in Applethorpe for a few nights to look for a few of the many caches in the area we still have not found.
Finally the rain has stopped. Grass still wet but that isn't stopping us

Being Chrismas Day my pen refused to work, so attached a photos of cache and surrounds.
This cache was loving maintained by FlutterbySquishy as Team Robins would do the same for me. Thank you for being great cachers. Hide now a smidge smaller, not painted, but can still hold trackable etc.

I found this geocache on a mystical journey from South Australia, through Victoria, New South Wales and back again.
I did log all of the caches on my handheld GPS however some of the logs did not sychronise properly so I apologise for the generic log on these caches, which are the ones that didn't log proprly from my GPS.
I had a fantastic journey and thank you for placing and maintaining your geocache or earthcache for visitors like me.

Recently deciding to tackle the Apple art, a group of us got our heads together to solve all of the puzzles then visit the area to collect the wonderful caches between Warwick and Stanthorpe.
Our group of CHAMAD, NayFee, Triple Turmoil and myself had a fantastic weekend finding heaps of caches, we signed the logs Team TWOCAN.
Thank you to all of the COs who have spent time placing and maintaining these caches for us to enjoy, sincerely appreciated.
Thanks Team Robins for bringing us here.

I have just had the best weekend caching around the Warwick, Summit and Stanthorpe areas. With caching buddies (geonayfee, Willis007 and Triple Turmoil) for the weekend we got in a very large number of caches, completing the apple geoart, the fruit run and a few other special caches along the way. I had a fantastic weekend with lots of laughs and funny events it just made for a fun time; the puzzle solving in the lead up to the weekend was great also.
A big thanks to all the CO’s of the caches along the way; for placing and maintaining the caches for us to enjoy. Visiting this area and seeing places I would never see in a normal trip here was enlightening, so again thanks.
In the weekend I got around 180 caches so firstly apologies for the generic part to the log, I do not remember all specifically but some did stand out so I will add a little to those in my posts.
Day two and it was an early start, there is so much still to get in the area. A fun and eventful day in many ways, lol. As we started to work our way back home it was a matter of zigzagging and back tracking the caches to Warwick. The fruit run series we were setting our sites on to complete, most were easy finds, with just a couple we did not find, then there was the a few others as we passed by, thanks.

Day two on our epic journey around Stanthorpe and surrounds with Chamad, TripleTurmoil and Willis007.
After some much needed rest we woke up bright and early (Thanks Chamad for the farmyard sounds) and set off for another full day of caching around Stanthorpe to clear up the rest of the Stanthorpe Apple and a few other caches in between, then we slowly made our way back north towards Warwick while grabbing a bunch of caches we didn't get yesterday.
Same as yesterday we had a wonderful time exploring the area. I really enjoy visiting this part of the world, it's a great feeling to get out of the city and enjoy the country life.
Thank you to each and every CO for placing caches at these locations. We had a great time.

After meeting Willis007 and Chamad at a previous event over New Years, they invited me to join them on an epic geoart mission at Stanthorpe. After weeks of puzzling and planning, today was day 2 (together with Nayfee). We covered a lot of mileage, had a lot of laughs and learnt a lot along the way.
Between Stanthorpe and Warwick (on our way back to Brisbane) there are a LOT of caches to sign and we did a pretty good job of getting every single one we could - signed as Twocan to save 25 seconds of signing at each cache, as we had work to do!
Container needs replacing.

Day 3 of our Granite Belt Grabathon saw us heading North back to the GC. At least today is not wet! The temperature may reach 13 degrees today but the wind is stronger so probably still an apparent temperature of around 6 degrees. No one ever said the Geocaching was meant to be easy!

My god that wind is cold. Out early this morning to collect a few more of the local regions caches in offer. The cache was found quickly and in good condition

Each morning the first stop on our holiday is for coffee. We’ve been sharing the love around different cafes but decided against fighting the parking in town. Today we went through the friendliest Maccas where they must force the staff to take “happy” pills. I’ve never known anyone to be so happy to take our money and make coffee. tftc
Most of the caches we've found have been in good condition apart from this one and the previous one.
The lid on this disintegrated as soon as it was touched. We placed it in a clip lock plastic bag to keek it going for now.

Out for a day's caching from Stanthorpe to Dalveen and beyond, most were easy finds while a couple took a bit of searching to find

On my way to the gong mega with my Dad Brislions. And I finally have premium to log these caches. TFTC
Cache my way down to Wollongong for the Mega with my son. So far we have had a very good day TFTC Team Robin. #1283
Our last here at Stanthorpe befotre heading down to Queanbeyan for the 2019 Mega. It has been great, but with mixed success. Didn't achieve as much of the Stan's Apple puzzle series smileys as we would have hoped but we will pass this way again and will pickup and redo those ones that we missed. Looks like this rain is persisting and being annoying, just raining hard enough to make it uncomfortable to get in and out of the car, do not want to resore to putting on rain coats. Still grabbed this one.

Sorry for the generic logs but there are so many caches in this area and there are only so many things you can write. We have loved caching our way here and around the area. We are only here for a day or two so not sure how many will will get done, but we will do our best. Thank you to each and every CO for the effort that has been needed to place and maintain the caches that we were fortunate enough to make it to. Thanks.
Today is the last big day of caching in the Stanthorpe area as I will have finished collecting the new souvenirs. Many thanks to Pa for putting up with my crazy addiction to caching, and souvenirs, and for chauffeuring me around for hundreds of kms. Maybe our holiday will start now.
Decided to travel north on the back roads as neither of us fancy pulling up on the highway. We found most of those we tried for with only 2 DNFs and 28 smilies. Most caches were in good condition, in fact a few had lovely new logs! I had never been to this area before so seeing the Rabbit Proof fence here was a highlight.
Thanks to all the COs and Maintenance teams for the caches along the way. All logs were either signed Smittengranny or SG depending on my mood, the time taken to retrieve the cache and the space available for signing.

Quick p&g as the sun is going down. Nice clue, made for a fast pick up. Tftc Tnsl Team Robins xo
Sometimes it's just about the numbers and this run was for that and if course the planetary souvenirs. I truly admire those that have done 100 or more, we were exhausted after just over 50 but that gets us half way there. We still enjoyed the driving and looking on the back roads and thank you for your effort in putting them there for us to do this run. TFTC
Thanks for the cache Team Robins
We are staying overnight in Stanthorpe and decided this was a good day to do the fruit run series and any others that may cross our path
Thanks for showing us a bit of Stanthorpe and the surrounds

Heading for the border today on ou trip to Bright. Wonder how many we can grab without endangering our lives and that of the caravan. Hit the fruit run trail. Interesting to drive here as it is the old highway that I have traveled many time before geocaching days.
Great hint and quick find. Thanks team robins

Beautiful grapevines across the road. It’s starting to drizzle now, but very lightly so we are going to continue along on our geocaching adventure.

I set out bright and early this morning for a day of caching, but not before I'd kidnapped a geo-guru on my way through Toowoomba, to be my chauffeur, and to find a few he had yet to get further south. It was a big day and a good day. Found this one and signed the log, thanks for the cache!
I haven't been caching for a while. I've been sick, and I've been helping out some mates. I've come up to Brisbane to help look after my aged Mum after her hip replacement. I was meant to arrive yesterday, but stopped in Stanthorpe due to tiredness. I didn't sleep well, so I amd stopping for caches on the way to keeep myself awake. I'm doing some of the fruit run that I didn't get to on my last trip two years ago. That is giving me a cool ten out of ten to start off with and to see how I go.
I'll do another couple of the fruit run series, then see if I can stay awake for 20 kms or so. Yes, I'm that tired ...
Find no 8 of 13 today.
Thanks, Team Robins

Continuing the Northern trek. Today was Stanthorpe to Toowoomba and it was perfect weather for caching today. TFTC.
We are going great guns this afternoon, we thought we would only grab a couple of caches near our caravan park but this awesome fruit run takes us back to the park from our apple pies and coffees we had before, and who wouldn’t choose the old road rather then the highway anyway.
The local wildlife we spotted here was awesome…
