This cache has had DNFs since 2021. The park has changed greatly since the original placement. I believe the cache should be archived to allow room for another cache to be placed
This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
Today, Beardman75 and I used the opportunity of Warwick's CITO to take a trip south-west from Brisbane. In the morning, we hiked in the Goomburra Section of Main Range National Park, following the Ridge track, followed by the northern section of the Cascades circuit. We then made the dash to Warwick to collect rubbish at the CITO event, and then spent the afternoon visiting Locations of the three Adventure Labs *Forgotten gates of Warwick*, *Warwick ~ Roses and Rodeo*, and *Warwick Historical buildings and sites*. We then made the return home and completed a couple of driveby geocaches.
This was a geocache that suggested it was missing going by the previous DNFs, and with a previous finder with me, it sounded like it was going to be reasonably quick to confirm or deny that this cache was still here. We arrived and as I was going through the motions of the multi-cache, Beardman75 confirmed that the fence that was hiding the cache was now gone due to the building works / construction. Could the CO check on this cache, and if required, replace? Thanks anyway vertigo91 for the cache placement.

I stopped by to do this multi as I made my way back home to Adelaide after attending the Mega Event at Townsville over Easter.
Unfortunately I couldn’t find the cache. It may have been a casualty of the nearby building works, or perhaps I just missed it.
Thanks anyway Team Vertigo91.

Heading to Stanthorpe for caching. Took two extra days of. Yippee

I have just had the best weekend caching around the Warwick, Summit and Stanthorpe areas. With caching buddies (geonayfee, Willis007 and Triple Turmoil) for the weekend we got in a very large number of caches, completing the apple geoart, the fruit run and a few other special caches along the way. I had a fantastic weekend with lots of laughs and funny events it just made for a fun time; the puzzle solving in the lead up to the weekend was great also.
A big thanks to all the CO’s of the caches along the way; for placing and maintaining the caches for us to enjoy. Visiting this area and seeing places I would never see in a normal trip here was enlightening, so again thanks.
In the weekend I got around 180 caches so firstly apologies for the generic part to the log, I do not remember all specifically but some did stand out so I will add a little to those in my posts.
After the park run series we headed up to grab this one, a bit of a struggle but we found it in the end.

A different and fun multi. Retrieved it after a bit of jiggling. All good with this cache. Thanks
Had to read the description a few times before I understood it. Thankfully, I keep the required tool in the car although I don’t use it much. Thanks for the cache
Quick and easy find and fun extraction. Felt like I was a dentist. Enjoyed the challenge of finding and retrieval.
This was a clever cache. We were able to fashion a retrieval device from things we found in the car.
TFTC. A favourite point has been given.

Vertigo91 TFTC - out early with Bunadoorian. Nice easy multi. Thanks. Find 4 for today
After wandering around in the wrong direction at first Grub62 and I found our bearings and located a very well hidden cache. TFTC.
Tftc. We brought our magical retrieval device but turned out to be not quite magical enough! Find but not logged.
Out on an adventure looking for geocaches in the Warwick area with my amazing Geo-Wife KaleidoscopeCass, this was one of a few that we managed to turn into a smiley, thanks for the cache!!
**Spent a while here waiting for an older gentleman muggle to do his rounds of the park with his wheely walker, he stopped right at the cache hide spot to check his shoes so that added to our entertainment, I'm sure he was wondering why we were sitting eating pistachios in a park all by ourselves too

Oh the timing... It's a sunny day but blowing a gale and my geohubby WallabyTim and I decide to visit at the exact same time a sweet elderly man wants to walk around the park, albeit with multiple breaks and a long sit down on his walker. I wondered if he actually knows about the cache and was waiting to see how we acted lol. We casually sat on the chair flicking pistachio shells, enjoying the "breeze" until he finally moved on. We narrowed down our GZ and soon spied what we were after. Some clever maintenance from WT to our tool and the cache was soon in hand. Thanks for making us think
We are heading to Stanthorpe and, wanting a break to stretch the legs, we chose to stop here to look for this one. We followed the instructions and were soon at a likely GZ. Glad we have a long retrieval tool. It worked well. Don't think that will be muggled any time soon.
Thanks for the cache Team Vertigo91. All good here.

Decided to go for a drive today to top up this calendar spot and with the aim to clear out Warwick in the process...I have visited this spot previously but was unable to retrieve the container due to not reading the cache page thoroughly!! This time I was well prepared with an appropriate tool for a quick find. This cache looks like it will soon have new neighbours behind the park with a new housing development on the cards. TFTC vertigo91.
Glad we read the hint before we arrived at GZ so that we had the appropriate retrieval device.

Day 3 of my trip to Stanthorpe and surrounds. I had set myself a target of finding five cache types in a day. I had already found four, but still needed to find a multi. I stopped by this one. At first, I was a little perplexed by what I needed to do. I was tired from a big weekend of caching and it was getting late, so I took a seat. I re-read the cache page and gave it a bit of thought. I then started to look around. Nothing. I moved my vantage point and quickly spotted something that I had not seen from my perch. I headed over. Using the torch on my phone to help me see, I quickly spotted what I was looking for. It was a bit of a struggle to remove the cache from its hiding spot. It has no lid, but the log is in good condition. I added my name, returned everything to how I found it, then decided to call it a day and head home. TFTC
Day three of a wonderful weekend away camping and caching.
After a fabulous night sleep at Girraween National Park, I set off to find some more caches and head homeward. I stopped at this park to find the cache here and was a little put off by how open and obvious the search would be. Well, I got over that and with a little guess work and some seriously suspicious looking wandering, I soon found the cache, extracted it with my magnetic reachy tool and signed the log. The lid is indeed missing but it was somehow still dry.
Thanks for the cache vertigo91.

I did this while on a trip through SEQ but for get what date so happy to date it today, I enjoyed the puzzle/idea of this. TFTC
After initially heading in wrong area we used our caching brain and made a quick find. Glad I had my tool with me. Found with The X-Trailers. TFTC. A lovely tiny park for the kids
Perfect weather in the Warwick region for my Easter visit I enjoyed exploring and of course collected a few caches along the way.
Took me a couple of goes to figure out which tree I was looking at and then the hidey hole had to be obvious. Back to the car for my trusty grabber gadget and then the cache was reluctant to come out and play. But got the job done
TFTC Team Vertigo91!

Heading for home after an amazing weekend in Girraween NP creating a smiley for EC day. Wombles needed just one more type to make 5 in a day so we decided to stop off at the only multicache in Warwick. We quickly found the well hidden beasty but it soon became apparent that....
A) We didn't have the right tool!
B) My pudgy hand was certainly not a tool
Back to the Spangle mobile to MacGyver up something that may work. Thankfully I had all sorts of odds and ends to stick together and create a thingymabob to do the trick!
Back at GZ and after two tries, my on the spot creation managed to pull the cache from it's hidey hole Woohoo!!! Some scribble left and the cache replaced as found. A fun little find to end off a fantastic weekend.
Thanks for the cache Team Vertigo91

After I realised I had found 5 cache types in a day so far, we decided to add a multi on the way home from a weekend of camping, climbing and caching at Girraween.
After quickly locating the cache we realised we didn't have the required tool, but Nyssaflutterby "macgyvered" up an alternative tool which worked a treat!
The lid of the tin doesn't clip shut properly anymore so that could be a problem later and the log might get wet so it might need a new tin soon.

On our last day of weekend, it was raining and I mean that. It was pouring rain. The parks were flooded and I was together with crazy people who still continued caching. This was one cache which we found in the rain.
Long weekend - perfect timing to geocache around Stanthorpe and clear up some green dots. Nadine1989 is in the company of Mr and Mrs RoddyC.
This cache was found on day 3, exploring the eastern section of the Southern Downs area between Warwick and the Granite Belt. Our second last cache for today before we head back to Brisbanein the rain to arrive hie at a reasonable hour.
We looked at this one in our motel room last night and had a bit of an idea s to what the bearing meant, but it was quite confusing when we actually arrived at GZ. Didn't like the spot much - it is too open and exposed to the neighbouring houses. So we walked along until we came to a likely hiding spot and viola!
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 2.45pm on 3rd October, 2016. TFTC

Easy P&G. From the clue we had the right tool-parts but still had to improvise a little. Cache was slightly open and log is a little water damaged, but OK. TFTC.

Yep...tricky little spot to get service...but a great hide.
We could see the cache but could not retrieve...even with out retrieval device....so no signature sorry!

Unfortunately couldn't find it we thought we were on a roll but could not locate - thought it was in the stump but after careful maneuvers we came up short. Don't k ow whether the cache is missing or not-u fortunate first miss though
We are on our way home after visiting family in Victoria and staying in Warwick for the night. We found this one this afternoon luckily we had the required tool for retrieval. TFTC
Swellerfungus, Crookedpete and I were heading home after a weekend in Stanthorpe making our way round the power trails in the back roads yesterday. We called in to Warwick to grab a couple of local caches that had piqued our interest. No body else around the park today so no curiosity to be aroused by three grown men wandering around a surburban playground. Crookedpete was the first to make the find and we added our names to the logbook before continuing our journey home. TFTC.
Second day of a weekend road trip to Stanthorpe with Swellerfungus and SeffnJarah. Yesterday, we smashed out 270 odd caches mostly on the A.S trail. Power trails are not normally something I seek out, preferring mind bending puzzles or a hard climbs and long hike to collect a high terrain caches. I also like to pursue all the rarer cache types including earth caches.
So, before we head home, we collected the two recently published earth caches in Stanthorpe and a number of higher terrain caches and interesting hides on the way. After hundreds of traditionals, it was a pleasant change to grab a multi. With an electric fence blocking the hidey hole to the container, Fungus and I deployed the JEFF APP to check if the fence was working. It wasn't. You could probably increase the difficulty if it was!
Thanks Team Vertigo91

Well after all the craziness of yesterday competing a bucketload of caches, we aimed for a few select ones that looked challenging, or needed to complete challenges. On our way back through Warwick we decided to stop for this one!
We sat and pondered, and then risked the nearby spark until the cache was in hand! Thanks for the cache Team Vertigo!

We are not sure about the placement of this cache as it looks to be in private property and there is an electric fence tape along the fence line

Visited with 2 girls who are new to caching who I met in town. I didn't really understand the multi part and none of us had the tool to access the cache. Due to its placement (close to private land??) I didn't sign the log but did take a photo if required. Thanks for the cache.

While on the drive to the Gold Coast after attending the QLD Mega stopped by to find this nice short multi. There are not many of this type around and realising what was involved with the field puzzle element wondered if I would be able to sign this one today.
MacGyver time!! Jerry rig something from the car and within moments the cache was in hand. Nice! a fun cache.

Sunday. Slow Puncture was out and about again today at Oz Mega 2015 Stanthorpe!
Today was our day was to log 8 different cache type for Stan's "Eight in One" Challenge.
So, with the rain we decided against the Multis around Stanthorpe, due to length and/or terrain issues, so we headed to Warwick to pick up one we had been told about. Yeah, we made it hard though and had to resort to a PAF to our informant!
'When we were set on the right path, a quick find was made with the aid of one of our previously unused caching tools
This was the 31st of 43 caches we found on this trip.
Thanks [Blue]Team Vertigo91[/Blue], for showing us this lovely out of the way place.

Currently house-sitting in Warwick so spent the day around town finding the balance of the caches which I hadn't yet looked for. This was the last one for me today before going home to a scrumptious meal. Unfortunately the chef and the meal beckoned before I could find this one so I will have to rethink it and come back. Thanks TeamVertigo

This one drove me nuts. I tried the instructions umpteen times. To me, if I sit on the only seat and look 88 degrees if I stick my right arm out sideways that is the way to go. Nothing to see here. I look further afield. Please forgive me for not signing the cache. Did you want me to hold the electric fence out of the way whilst I retrieve it? Do all cachers know what an electric fence looks like? Perhaps this cache could have been put somewhere more appropriate?
On a day out with kesta down to do some of the AS series. This was my second visit and finally got it. There were no leaves between ,y tool and the cache this time! Tftc
I had to visit Robins Nest to pick up some TB's that I had left behind after the Christmas in July 2014 Event. I had an over night pass so intended to make the most of it. My main aim was to tackle the power trails around pikedale road and the rabbit proof fence.
Aliong the way I spotted a emerald spotted tree frog, a koala, one rather large goanna, lots of birds and managed to avoid 3 speed traps and one RBT. Fortunately no Joe Blakes but did manage to pick up a few prickles from a cactus that I shouldn't have touched.
I caught up with Ian and Chris late Sunday morning for a cup of tea and a chat (Thankyou) before heading home.

Found it but the retrieval tool wasn't quite good enough, so it was off to get some items to construct one to do the job properly. This will probably come in handy for future caches too. TFTC.
Had the right tool, leaves have also been cleared out since last attempt made it easier to get out. Found with Lara-Lee.
well this seemed relatively easy reading the description but when we got to the park didn't seem to make much sense to us. Found the cache anyway using some detective work. I'd read about the need for tools so had one in my back pocket.
