It's a time when we can't go on a long adventure, so I travel in memories. That's why I'm only stretching the Travel Bug from the adventures in New Zealand. Writing "Found it" is no longer correct, but it wasn't today.
I am sending a beautiful greeting from the Czech Republic.

Tried for this one with the intention of replacing the log but the garden was so overgrown I had no luck.
Tftc. Found this one with my most junior scoobydoo while his big brothers and mr scoobydoo did one last run at the mtb tracks nearby. We arrived at gz and walked up and down looking for the likely spot, but soon realised it was on the other side and the gates were locked (which seemed odd at 4pm during school holidays?) There were a couple of cars inside, so perhaps another entrance may have led us there, but time was prohiting us going further afield in search. But a quick 'stop drop and roll' manouvere at the gate and junior was were he needed to be. A bit of a hunt, and he had cache in hand. Woohoo. Caching with kids definately has its advantages! Happy to log a smiley, and junior had fun being the sucessful finder of this one, going where mum could not....
Just discovered a small batch of un-logged finds from a mini road trip in July. Although the COVID alert level allowed us the ride up the gondola, the gates of the Kiwi Experience next door were firmly locked. Thanks for the placement, all the same.
Found with AF BEE, 6ftzpr&1/2zip, and ondago while on a geocaching vacation. Thanks for placing this cache.
OCW GeoWench78 between Taupo and Tauranga...stopped in Rotorua for a few caches...found after a short search...TFTC!
Today I did have a true Kiwi experience. The Ruby Princess docked at Tauranga & we went on an excursion to Rotorua. One stop was at the Rainbow Springs & Kiwi Hatchery. Was the one & only opportunity I had to find a cache which was nearby thankfully. We arrived back at Tauranga too late for me to find another. Tftc
Here we found the cache in GZ in good condition. TFTC and greetings from Finland
After visiting Rainbow Springs and seen the kivis we logged this cache, which was easily found and in good condition. TFTC.
Quick find during a coffee break after visiting the park. Thank you for the cache and greetings from Finland!
Some friends went up for the luge, and two of us decided to give it a miss and look for this cache instead. Thanks!
Took us way too long to find this! Such a good wee hiding spot. Scored a cute lil Koala too thanks so much! I
Day #13 of our vacation brings us to Tauranga, New Zealand via the NCL Jewel. Part of our excursion today brought us here to view the native Kiwi! What a fun place and a cache nearby to boot! Picked up a set of koalas to bring back to Kansas as swag. TFTC SL

Unsere Neuseelandrundreise Tag 5 - Rainbow Springs Park & Rotorua

Nach unserem Besuch im Rainbow Springs Park war dieser Tradi ein Muss! Erst suchten wir in der falschen Ecke. Die Cacherspuren sind aber auch verwirrend. M wurde dann aber doch noch fündig.

After visiting Rainbow Springs Park, this tradi was a must! First we looked in the wrong corner. The cache tracks are also confusing. But M found it then.
Since my english is very bad, I use internet translators. I hope my log is still understood.
Greetings from Saarland/Germany.

Drove from Auckland to Rotorua to visit rainbow springs and geocache with family. Great day out. Thanks for keeping this geocache live.
The evening before we had been up to the Skyline with the gondola and had had supper up there in the restaurant. An awesome experience. After that my little son and I rode the luges, and we were probably the last people to ride down the hill by 10 pm.
On the way through the car park where we had left the car I headed towards this cache, but then realised that it was on the other side of the fence and the place had just locked up for the night. Ah well, we were still in town for another day, so I came back today.
I did have to scout around quite a bit before I finally struck it lucky. I suspect the co-ords are good, but my GPSr was pointing all over the place today. Some days are just like that. Eventually, I made the find and was glad to be able to add my name to the log sheet.
We didn't have a chance to visit the actual centre this time. Instead, we did the 3D art experience across the road because I knew my kid would probably find that more entertaining this time around. When he's bigger we'll catch up with the wildlife.

Cool cache, busy spot, so hard to be sneaky... also don’t make the same mistake I did and open it in the car as it’s full of little crawlers
After a lot of searching I found it. Extra hint - you do not need to be searching around people's cars!
Found it on a drizzly day when we had Rainbow Spgs virtually to ourselves.... my first of our New Zealand. Captured a travel bug, except he looks like a shark. Will move him along, maybe back to Canada. TFTC
Went to place trackable only to find cache wet, in need of log book with no spare room. Beware it is covered in ants needs maintenance.
Vacations 2019 - Road trip trough New Zealand
With Geoesposa, this was my 50th anniversary. 16 days, 4200Kms and a few hundreds smilles after, i was sure i saw nothing....
I liked everything, the friendly and civilized people, the way the country works, the roads and especially the natural beauty of New Zealand.
I fell in love....
I decided to go back in 5 years, I easily see myself living my last days somewhere lost in any stunning scenery of this wonderful country.
With the itinerary studied at home, the caches were the ones that were in the chosen places, and a few used to stretch the legs. It was decidedly not the most important on this trip. Of all the visited, only half a dozen did not appear, all being in good health except two or three.
I will use this generic log, not for disrespect of the owners, but due to the amount of caches visited. Here the majority of caches serve to show something beautiful (as it should be), not giving importance to the container.
My thanks to all the ownwers who, allied to the natural beauty of the country, have made this vacation unforgettable.

I'm on a road trip with my lad to meet up with old friends in one of my favourite places in New Zealand, Rotorua. I come as often as I can but not often enough these days, so this has been my first chance to visit the Bay of Plenty as a Geocacher.
It's a given (for me) that any trip to Rotorua must include a trip up the Gondola and some Lugeing, so having completed this wonderful task, My lad and I decided to quickly try for this cache whilst our Muggle friends had a look at photos etc. It was only 100m from where we were parked so we arrived at GZ in a trice, but then had to ferret around for a few minutes before my mini-me found the cache.
Everything was fine with it, so we quickly signed ourselves into the log and replaced everything back exactly as found and scurried off back to our waiting friends.
Thanks for the cache, and giving me another reason to like coming here.

Found it
Came out to Rotorua with Bongo_Cat for a family holiday, today we went to the skyline and that was truly a true kiwi experience then to rainbow springs.
I recommend if you can't maintain the cache you should put it up for adoption.
Thanks

Nice quick find before we go zooming down the luge.

Quick find on a wet day. Miss Spencer swapped a toy and I swapped a trackable. Tftc. Current log has lots of room.
It was heading towards dusk when we arrived so were able to park right next to the cache and made a quick find
It was early evening, and the car park was almost empty so we were able to park 1 metre away from GZ. We were not surprised to see that we were not the first and only visitors to this cache. Dropped off a TB to carry it on its adventures.
After a great day up in the Gondolas and luging I had to grab this one on the way out! Super quick find by one of the kids of our host family here in Rotorua. Here visiting from Taranaki. TFTC
Great hiding spot! Thank you! Hard to get in and out without being seen as a few people sitting in their cars but I think it maybe just looked like I had pulled over to give the kids a run around!!! Probably wouldn't have found it without reading the rest of the logs! But we are starting to learn now about the different types of hiding places!!! Thanks for the cache.
While visiting the Rainbow Spring Park we have found also that cache
In Rotorua for the second leg of the McArgister mini road trip. Just finished a big day with the whānau, gondola, luge and Rainbow Springs. Took us a full loop of the mound before Mini, Micro and I found this, just after we’d decided to give up and head home. One last look, oh look, that doesn’t match! Found, signed and off we go back to the Top 10. Thanks for the cachey bonus for the day!
Found with family after spending a day at Rainbow Springs. Beautiful day and a great park full of NZ wildlife. TFTC
On a road trip north, enjoying the day and pic up some caches. TFTC

Visiting from Arizona, USA. Continuing our coach tour of NZ. Our itinerary brought us here, and after experiencing the kiwis, we made this quick find before we left for our local hotel. There are two or three log sheets in here now, so that's no longer a problem. Thanks for the cache.
Caching trip to Rotorua with Kirss. We did this after the Skyline. Great views. Found this one easily. Greetings from Finland. TFTC
Spent the morning at the Rainbow Fairy Springs and saw their amazing Kiwi birds.
Managed to find the cache with a little difficulty as the GPS was sending me several metres away. Was helped by Jessica, Jono and Toby who also signed the log as it was his first time (but not a member).
SL, TNLN, TFTC.
