Before being joined by all of Davinells, Snickersallan & E_Smiley for a couple of nights at Queen Mary Falls I got to spend the day in Warwick hunting the new caches, a couple of archived caches and anything else that I stepped over (read: made a huge detour to find)…
With not much info to go on, there appears to be only one option here for the cache, and despite having a good dig around, I failed to unearth the container…
I imagine, considering the location, and length of time past, this cache is long gone….??

Found with Just a cacher on an escape from the Canberra cold to visit some friends and family in Brisbane.
Day 5 of the escape. A quick find on our run into Brisbane. Not much time for caching today.

Although not personally involved have always thought the girl guides and boy scouts organizations were great movements. Thanks, a quick find.
Found this cache at 10:20am while in town for a few days doing some caching before we head for home to the Southern Highlands of NSW. After spending a month in Qld north and outback and Fraser Island.
Nice hide amongst the paper bark.

We had been planning a 4 day trip to Stanthorpe to do a Hard run on all the Caches in Stanthrope, but due to some family issues we did not manage to complete this plan but the kids and us still wanted to have a run on putting up a Record Run for Queensland.
The first two cache was done on the way up to our start point and we thought that way not add in a Scout/Guides cache to our trip so this is cache to fill that gap.
This was the 1st find of 2 finds for the night, Before our run on Stanthrorpe for 24Hr

Found with Mastamak (Dad) and a lot of friends and family.

We had planned a four day geocaching run to the Stanthorpe area but due to a few personal issues we were unable to do so. We instead decided that we would do a quick one day dash to Stanthorpe and back.
Our aim was to complete the AS, Fruit Run and unnamed animal power trails as well as many individual caches as possible.
We left Brisbane at about 8.30pm the night before and called in to Warwick for a couple of quick finds and a break. Right on midnight we were positioned for our first powertrail find.
Everyone was tired so we decided to head back to Brisbane early. We arrived back in Brisbane right on midnight.
In all we found 355 geocaches for the day with 8 DNFs.
Due to the volume of caches found I have only written a generic log. This should in no way detract from the fun we had in finding each and every cache. A big thank you to all cache owners in this area.

Unfortunately some 'mis-guided' cacher has appropriated the TB between February and now, as well as the path tag placed there in between as neither of them are present.

Fortunately there were not many people around today. None at this location and so it was just a matter of watching and biding time between cars going past. GZ was quickly located and the cache log signed. Thanks very much for the cache The Cashe Hunters. NINOSL.
Found while geo wife waited in car with geo dogs. On the way home from inglewood, nice spot for a break TFTC!
Geohubby found this cache very quickly, and an easter egg too. Must have been an easter egg hunt at the guide hut. Took coin path tag. TFTC.

Thinking back, my mother must have joined the guide movement within a couple of years of the time this hut was built. Like the hut, she remained in the guiding movement in various roles until her death, having more than 70 years of service.

86Km from home.
After a late night and a sleep in by Mrs RF our planned raid to Stanthorpe had to be canned and I threw together a plan for a run to Warwick that would save a few hours driving.
I soon had this in hand after a very short search, very good camo but not too hard find
Took nothing but memories and left nothing but our tag and footprints.
Hide, log and container are all in good nick.
Thanks for the cache THE CASHE HUNTERS.

One of 225 finds during a Brisbane and back drive. Went to Brisbane for 5 days with my family flying up and back while I drove with a car load of stuff for our working holiday. Well a holiday for me and my boys while Leanne had a wedding expo to attend, but we did manage to get to Sea World for a day, where we had a great time, before they flew back.
After some caching in Melbourne it was on to Tocumwal for the night then two more days to Brisbane. Five days there then the same trip back but in reverse. A total of 4516 km travelled with 225 caches found and even a couple of interstate FTFs along the way. The trip turned out to be a trial run almost for a Solar eclipse / Cairns trip I'm doing in November.
After caching in Melbourne I made my way to Tocumawal where I stayed the night then made my way just south of Goondiwindi, crashed in the car at a truckstop. Up at about 8:00 the next morning and soon hit the road again to make my way to the Gold Coast via Warwick. Found a place to stay then headed out to do the GCPT series which was only about a kilometer from where I was staying. Off to Brisbane the next day to stay five days with the familay, cache with the kids and tackle the monster series in Sandgate when I had the time.
After a great time in Brisbane it was time to head back home with the fam flying and me driving. I had a scattered number of caches to collect on the way home with a couple of hundred kilometres between some of them. Cached Warwick along the way, got a FTF out of Moree then made it almost to Coonabarrabran for the night.
Found the cache as I started to head out of town. Nice quick find too.
Thanks.

The wesso family had 3 wonderful days on the granite belt touring around the Stanthorpe & Tenterfield regions. Along the way we found a couple of caches and this was one of them
We were heading back to the Sunshine Coast after our 3 day break. And this one was on our hit list.
Because Mrs wesso was a former girl guide........many years ago "Ducks for Cover" she wanted to have a go at this one all by herself
We both headed toward GZ, Mrs wesso taking the lead and me bring up the rear. After a short search I heard those wonderful words.....Found It!!! [^]
With a big smile on her dial we headed back to the car to do the deed with the log book. We signed the log and I had to return the cache back into it's hidey place

No one around on a weekday afternoon so I had no worries looking for this one. I loved my time in the Girl Guides, it prepared me for geocaching lol . Sad to see so many coins and TBs go missing or are unaccounted for. I put some cover over the little cache container before i moved off to get some food into me.
After watching a incredibile orange moon set as the sun was coming up, I grabbed this one on my way out to morgan park for the day. TFTC
On our way home from Stanthorpe Alkzura and I decided to pick up a few caches (I know shocking isn't it). This was our twelfth for the day.

We stopped in here on our way north back to Brisbane, and arrived at GZ, which was relatively deserted at the time. We arroached the GZ and noticed one obvious feature the GPS was pointing at, so focused our search there. After a little bit of a search, it was NyletaM that found the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Signed the log, returned it and continued on our journey.
