A nice quick find with mumandme as we explore some back roads and find caches that I need for several minutes challenges I'm working on on our way to the mega. Thanks so much for the caches, we had a great day. This one we added a new log to as the container was broken and the other logs weren't in great condition.
Trip down to Dunners for a birthday bash .. Get some in, dodgy weather be damned..... Nice easy find. Cheers!
We are camped at the golf course for a motorhome GC holiday. Today we packed a picnic and went for a trip to find the local GC's. Glad to have a nice day, but cold wind after all the rain. We normally find these in the back country on 4x4 trips not on the main road.
Thanks for this cache drawp.
Thanks for this cache drawp.
Out for the day on a visit to Dot's Castle with MrMagoo72 and our daughter, so afterwards decided to head just up the road a little to find this one, before heading back towards home.
A nice little hide which didn't take too long to find. All nice and dry inside. TFTC.

Thanks for hiding this cache drawp I appreciate it. I am out on a geocaching trip with NZB, Graciesgpsfun and Jude_E Second find for me. I often travel past with JDScout. He won't stop for ones like these in the campervan. Fair enough as it's more difficult to do park n grabs with him.
Nice fast drive by ..very busy Rd today..but which container is correct..or maybe its 2 or one thanks Drawp
How strange, two containers with ligs here. Signed both. Thanks for the placement drawp
On the way to Dunedin today, saw this on pop up kn the inReach and I mooched down the line. Mmmm nice and easy I thought, I arrived at the gz and boom nice park amd grab as stated I'm the description. Signed the log as MCB due to the size.

Today I was out and about on a very specific caching mission. My objective for the day was to accumulate enough missing 'minutes' qualify for the South Island 300 Minutes Latitude Challenge - GC8RQ1G. I started collecting missing minutes at S 44 03 and ended up down at S 45 15. Nice one! No problems with this triggy cache. I've had a couple of similar placements go astray when this type of trig was replaced with something much smaller. TFTC, Biggles.
Today StreetWalkerNZ and I head back to Christchurch so we left Moeraki at 7:30am to try to beat the predicted rain. Unfortunately that didn't work, and it started drizzling in Oamaru and soon progressed to rain. Boy it's been a wet 2021 for us so far!
By now, the drizzle was getting heavier but not heavy enough to stop us looking for this cache! There is a good pull of place travelling north so we dashed across the road and tried to keep the log book dry as we did the paperwork. TFTC.

#19254. We;d been keeping an eye out for drive-bys to stop at on our way North, but with rain falling we were only stopping of parking was good, and this was the only cache we were happy to stop at. Quick find. TFTC.
I'm catching up on my logging which seemed to have stalled even though we have been in lockdown, my excuse is that I have been working throughout.
Found on our homeward leg. Heading for Ashburton so not stopping very often, they put these things in some funny places.
This started out as a Geocaching road trip to Invercargill to drop off some stuff for the niece and collect some other stuff for Mrs banian. It turned into a bit of a race back to Wellington to beat the Covid-19 lockdown.
We were able to rebook our Ashburton accommodation and ferry ticket to earlier in the week. When we arrived in Picton the vehicle queue was almost a kilometre long, and got longer behind us. Fortunately, as we had tickets we were still able to get on our sailing and made it back before "Level 4" kicked in.
Be nice and keep safe! TFTC drawp.

For my personal challenge of working towards getting my calendar on GC.COM to be at least the same shade of green or darker I need to sign off at least 10 caches today. I won't grumble if I find one or two more. I had shifted my snail shell back in Oamaru for a few days on my way further south.
The container does not have a lid any more.
Cheers for the cache.

Thanks had a lovely meal nearby. Everyone looking through the shops and garden so a walk for me to pick this up. Not use to walking along a road that travels at 100 km/ hr.
Had the whole day to travel from Chch to Dunedin today so I was allowed to have a caching splurge!! No trouble here. Thanks (15th find of the day - and sadly the last)
Had to pull over to answer a mobile call. Amazed to see was opposite a geocache. Done and done.
Heading back to dunedin after Mr i-gotit had replaced a couple of GPS receivers at a couple of monitoring sites in Chch I decided that as time was running short this would be the only P&g to grab on the way home as it was rather appropriate to our trip and I suspected that it would be quick which it was.
Oamaru -
Left Oamaru today heading for Christchurch, we cached with Happy Feet 1 during our time here.
We found caches in some amazing places, travelled along some great country roads.

A wee wander up the highway while waiting for a table at the local eatery. All in good order, TFTC
Waited until the car across the road had left (fellow cachers?) Then dashed over. Cache was quite exposed, placed back with a little more coverage. TFTC
Arrived in Christchurch, on our way to the Oamaru Geofest. Pulled up here with some other cachers who were also going to the event. A quick find was made here.
Thanks drawp for placing the cache for us to find.

Another quick find on our way from Christchurch to Oamaru for the geocaching festival. Always appreciate a trig station cache, and this was a quick and easy find. While we were at GZ another geocacher came by that was also going to the geofest - they were from further away than us! All good here and thanks for the cache.
A quick find after meeting others at Riverstone. Headed north to get ones at Waitaki bridge, busy road to cross, as cachers traveled south to Oamavegas!
Trig is rather over grown, making for a harder find but with minty fresh breath... On a 11 day caching trip around the south island. Log signed as b&p.Tftc drawp. Find # 3600

Heading back to Dunedin after a tramp with a few caching stops on the way. TFTC! #1836
The second weekend of planned caching trips for Chelzea and I. This one started caching near Temuka and then on down to Timaru, Oamaru over Danseys Pass and then back to ChCh from Palmerston the next day. Long and winding trip in places but managed a good number of caches with only a few DNF's. Too many to remember in detail so sorry for the cut and paste logs but thanks to all the owners it was a great two days of searching new places for a good variety of caches.
Easy, yay! Hardest but was crossing the road as I was On my way from Dunedin to timaru for a meeting tomorrow and had a spare 2 hours, so thought I'd pick up the caches on the way
One of those your always flying passed but don't stop today I made an effort on my way to omakau for the weekend quick find time to hit the danses pass tftc
The plan was hatched a few years ago now and it has been a standing weekend away with a few of us mad keen cachers. This trip was made up of Karma Reprint, Team_Gaters and me (TheWanglers). We couldn't use a previous anagram to sign the logs as one member was in Aussie. So we had to come up with another... Hmm, KiTT? We decided on KiTT but after signing the first few logs something KR mentioned took a while for me to sink in and I didn't really take on board until the next time I signed the log. "Hey, the double 'TT' looks like Pi!". Oh, that's what KR said! So we signed the log this trip as KaTT pronounced 'Kapai'! And the trip was kapai!!! We had an epic weekend starting with a detour to Peel Forrest for a few FTFs, stopped in Omaru, thrashed Dunedin and detoured to Port Charmers for a FTF and then back to Pleasant Point and Peel Forrest to finish off the weekend with more FTFs. We got home to our families at a respectable hour after clocking up just over 1100km!
We had a few milestones we really wanted to crack. My 4000th, TG's 5000th and KR's 10,000th. We cracked my and KR's goal and got really close for TG. It really is about the numbers. This trip was awesome as it has given me some ideas
Quick stop and find.
Thanks for the cache.

Show weekend and a Road Trip to Dunedin with 'The Boys'....Karma Reprint & TheWanglers. Initially came up with the acronym KiTT but on seeing the TT looked like a Pi symbol we quickly changed to Ka(Pi) (ie. Kapai)....and a fantastic weekend it was. 3 days, 1100km, a heap of caches and great fun.
Spied GZ on approach so a quick easy stop, find and sign before moving on. Cheers.

Mega trip to NZ with vipema, Veke68 and Katsukka, logged as TVVKFIN. Today our target was Dunedin, lots of kilometers and lots of fun! Thanks for the cache.
Long time dream came true and we could visit New Zealand. NZ Mega was our maingoal and we had time to find others too. We travelled together with Veke68, Katsukka and tanjuli (+husband) and had great time. We used TVVK Fin (that is tanjuli, vipema, Veke68 and Katsukka) in mostly logbooks to save space.
