Time for a revisit. I was driving past, had daylight so decided to see if I could turn this frown upside down.
Much simpler this time. It helps that somebody left the rock upturned, the cork out and the cache was peaking out from under the rock.
I signed the log and hid it again. Thanks for this cache it must have taken a while to create.

Eventually found! Needed the Queen Bee though to find it and rest of the fam couldn’t find on 2 occasions. TFTC!
Very,Very hard geocache.we forgot a penile so we didn't write our names.
Found on the 23/11/2019
Thank youfor the cache

Thank youfor the cache
Second attempt DNF Try finding it at dusk which may have compromised our likelihood of finding it. The bees were also out and about, but at least we saw a beautiful full moon . TFTC nonetheless
Spend an hour here in the dark, found the bees did not find the cache. Will have to travel to another cache to keep street alive.
Found! Clever little place . Thank you for this find. All looks to be in good order
Cleaver hide with this one.. just be careful as there is a bee hive on a neighbouring tree which could cause problems with geokids.. thanks for the hide all looks to be in good order.
We were getting close to admitting defeat on this one but at the last minute we found it. Nice and crafty. Dropped a new log sheet in also. TFTC!!
TFTC. What a great hide. you get a favourite from me as you had us going. log sheet is full and I did not have one with me.
Finally found after a few tries, with greatly appreciated help from cracknleelee (thanks)!. Great cache!
Pleased to be able to turn this green dot into a smilie. We have passed it soooooo many times.
Arrived at GZ and LeeLee was pleased her muscles were warmed up from bootcamp as there were some rocks to turn here!
A short search for the obvious did not reveal the cache so I used the warmed up muscles to my advantage and the well hidden cache was then found quickly.
A nice creative hide which deserves a FP for the effort.
Thanks MAS0N

Didn’t think we would find this one! Searched and searched. Looking for the wrong tel. So clever!
Not what I was expecting. Happy to see this has been here all the time despite DNF. Noone is taking this one home. Nice effort. CIGC TNLN TFTC
MASON once again you have provided a hard one! Bit disheartening but we'll be back don't you worry!
Turned the right rock, and out popped a surprisingly bigger cache than I was expecting, Log is full and needs replacing, otherwise this cache is in great shape Thnl\ks for this hide MASON

Caching with Alex-thesquirrel and Bek-theraccoon in Melbourne for a short visit
We left no stone unturned...then squirrel pointed in a certain direction and luckily the green reflected sunlight! It had fallen out of its hidey hole, so squirrel returned it in its appropriate location with the camo. After signing with our maze pens, we took a selfie too!

Unfortunately it was a DNF here tonight. We arrived just on dark making the search a little tricky and the large nearby blood trail kept us wary of grabbing to much.
I will be back, i won't let this cache neat me.

Turned that frown upside down today. Last time it was dark and cold and I did not have alot of time for a look. Well today I had heaps of time and methodically located the cache. Luckily just as I left GZ some workmen pulled up in their truck.
Thanks **MAS0N**

Huzzah! I thought this was going to become a nemesis for me but I found it at last! Thankyou, MASON, for a very clever hide. As I was wandering around the rocks waiting for my phone GPS to settle a pedestrian asked me for directions. I was unable to help him and he went on his way. I was expecting him to ask me what I was doing but he never did. The log is dry and all is well with the cache. I've not come across a log that has been in use for so long. FTF was OLDWINEBOTTLE who signed the log as FTF on 11/7/11, just over five years ago. No TBs or SWAG here today. SL TN LN Replaced as found.

*It is always interesting to visit areas on the Western side of Melbourne, which were an important part of life pre-caching days. The memories were revived and we were amazed at the changes. This is one of the caches we found en-route to a very special activity in Melton.*
We failed at this one about 3 years back, so we came with more resolve and thoughts of a systematic search today! Sure we had checked every possibility - no luck. Fortunately with a realigned search area, after we utilised the PAF lifeline, the familiar geo-question was asked - "Could that be it?"
Yes - A FP for a very clever and long standing hide.
Thanks to for placing this cache.

10:49, 26 March 2017, on the way to a friends place and then off to the Keilor Hotel for the hot rod n bike show today with Ali we did a few caches on the way.
Well this is the second time i've visited this spot in the past 2 months with no luck so I thought id type up a DNF..
We looked here, there and just about everywhere but with no luck.. and time to head off to meet with my friend to attend the hot rod show we had to depart after looking for about 25 mins..
I will be back to see if im 3rd time lucky... next time with some info on what im looking for specifically from a PAF maybe in need.. well not so much a PAF but MAF lol..
Thanks for the placement and the frustration of looking for the elusive caches that we come across from time to time..

A drive out to Sydenham to grab this one confident that someone had just found it. At the GZ it was nice and quiet given the early afternoon. Taking the hint we looked and turned with no luck. We reached out to Ausyowie for a bit of a hand and they were quick with the advice. We soon had it signed and returned. Nice hide.

Thanks for this well hidden cache Mason. When I read about the previous dnfs I was worried about this taking a long time to find.
Today I stopped here to keep my run of days going. The gz seemed accurate and I set about my business. Surprisingly it took me less than 60 seconds to recognise a familiar tell. Yes, that was the cache. Fancy finding an unloved cache here.

While out with grandson escaping the preparations for his sister's 21st party we decided to stop at the Basin. Despite our best efforts this cache eluded us.
Noticed this one was on my way home from an appointment so I stopped by to have a look. Only having my phone I think the coords were too far off. Maybe next time.
Found by Mary & David at 1640. Only time for one cache today, and this was it. Parked back along the road wand walked to GZ. Soon realised where we'd be searching. Our indicated GZ proved to be three or four metres away from the cache, but well within normal tolerances. Found the nicely hidden cache after about five minutes of systematic searching. Our thanks to MAS0N.

Found after dropping Tomboy at the airport... As I had a previous DNF on this one, it was great to be able to cross it off the 'to do' list...
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment MAS0N...
A nice quick find with good co-ord's... Cache condition - Fine...

Came at night hoping to find our first ever geocach and couldn't find it. Will come back during the day
What a great hide!! Not expected! Brought hubby along for his first and he found it. Lots of walkers in the area but no one interested in us! TFTC!
This took a lot longer to find than expected while clearing up this part of the map after work. Was happy to get it though. Very few muggles around today even with all the traffic.
TFTC!!!
TFTC!!!
Persistence and belief that one of those rocks have something to do with it is all you need
Didn't find it...
Either my caching eyes weren't working or I was still recovering from Christmas...
Thanks anyway MAS0N...

Spent a short time searching but had no luck. Will try again when back in the area. Thanks anyway.
Argh! The girlfriend and I attempted our first cache at night and could not find it! Gonna have to Come back during the day! It's hidden well I must say! Haha
My second find for the day. Had to park around the back of the basin and walk to the cache, when I saw GZ I was not happy sooo many rocks. Luckly it only took a minute to find the cache. Great design it would have taken a bit to make. TFTC
I was on the way past to another series of caches further out of town so I stopped to take a look here. Spent a while looking for what I thought it would be but no success this time. Thanks anyway.
Today being International Earthcache day 2015 I headed a long long way from home (40km away) to the event in the Organ Pipes National Park. I had a bit of time up my sleeve before arriving so this was one of my stops.
I parked in the childcare centre's deserted car park across the road and headed across and starting checking rocks like everyone else. After a few minutes I found it in what was an unexpected place. Great hiding spot.
Thanks MAS0N for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Wow, this is a seriously great hiding place!! Third time looking for this one and so glad we found it. Fantastic
Tftc out in a different environment on a new hunt. Out with elkins88 showing me the area.
Out and about in the area to do a little caching, and this one was not far away, after a short detour we were soon at GZ.
After searching and searching we felt like we were getting nowhere till one half of the team yelled out, I found it.
Thanks for the cleaver cache.

McWillid and I came to this cache when we were less experienced cachers and but couldn't find anything after 15+ minutes of looking. We were in the area today and decided to have another go. This time we arrived and found it after about 5 minutes of searching. Very well constructed! TFTC! Took trackable.
Wow wow wow, third time is the charm!
I have been after this one for some time now, I'm total I think I have spent more than an hour look for this sneaky little devil.
Well worth a favorite point from me.

First time geocaching today and my second find with help from my son (Elkins88) found it. It was absolutely brilliant and has now got me hooked. The thought that goes into it!!!!!!!!!
Cache no longer here searched several times over many hours. Turned over every rock and searched every nook and cranny of the park
First time doing this. At first, the kids didn't want to do it, now they are asking where the next one is.
I came and searched but did not find. Met some newish cachers who were also looking for it.
FINALLY! Fifth time lucky we found it, definitely worth the time spent looking!
This was my third attempt.... First attempt was in the very early days when I hadn't quite got my head around urban caching. Second attempt I ended up walking away with thick clay tread on my sneakers after attempting it following heavy rains. Today I arranged this location. as a meeting place to do a path tag swap. Thanks to Elkins88, who I met here for the trade, who provided the brawn and brain (my fresh batteries in the GPSr were not so fresh...) to make the find! TFTC

Heading to visit family in Essendon we had just a limited time to search for this little guy. Like many previuos cachers we looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out!
Thanks for the hunt anyway MAS0N .

This is the cache that got me into geocaching.. Took me a few goes to find but eventually found it.. Great hide tftc
This was my second go at this and it almost had me stumped again. The cache was a beautifully executed hide and certainly not what I was expecting. I also wasn't expecting the redback spider which was sitting right next to the hide. I love these caches where the CO has gone to great effort to make a challenging and unique hide. Thanks MASON.
Success at last on our 2nd visit. We did not spend too long this time before we found this excellent cache hide - just did not find the right rock or expect it to be the way it was, last time!!
TFTC MASON - congratuations on a well thought out and executed cache hide!

Has to get a clue from a previous finder. I was in the right area just not what I was expecting

A saturday off golf due to a sore hip so I decided to spend a couple of hours caching. Fortunately Dutch Frangipani also had a free afternoon so off we went to enjoy the sunshine and grab a couple of smilies on the way.
We must have turned over rock all to no avail. As this was the last of the day, maybe our patience wasn't what it should be.
Thanks anyway MASON

At last, finally can cross this one off. I'm so sure I checked this a few times, but maybe not. LOL
After finishing two very busy nightshifts, the second just down the road at the Taylors Lakes site, I had to give this one more go.
Thanks Matt for a great little challenge and a crafty bit of, well...craftmanship.
Adding a well deserved fave. Cheers Phil

Had to scrounge around quit a few rocks before I managed to outthink it. Thank you MASON for the well executed cache. Persistance may be needed. A favourite from me.
