Unfortunately we are unable to get this one back up and running at the moment. Will be back soon to make the necessary repairs.
Still haven't found it, second and third visits here today ( several hours apart). I know it's there, I can feel it snickering up its cachey little sleeve at my feeble attempts to find it. "I'll be back" as someone or other once said...
Finally found this tricky one after a little help from a friend. The park has great views TFTC
This one is close to home. Love the views from this park. We searched and searched but never found anything that even looked slightly out of place. We will be back!!!
Out and about with Dora the Explorer! grabbing some caches in the area.
After approaching GZ and being satisfied that we were in the right spot we began looking but nothing was obvious.
After quite some time there was one little tell tale sign that gave the hiding spot away.
The log was signed and returned to the cache and the cache replaced exactly as found.
This was a very sneaky hide and difficult to find given the items in the area and the muggles that were about. Well worth a favorite point.
All is good with this cache.

Found with the assistance of friends who had previously found. I know I couldn't have found otherwise. A brilliant hide. Thanks
I would like to say it was a quite easy find - but it certainly wasn't. Searched for quite some time but eventually had to PAF (thanks electro_man) for a big hint - definitely wouldn't have found it without one. Its taught us another very sneaky trick!! TFTC Parko's
After dragging body up small hill (4th day geoing), found gz easily enough. But 2 woman sharing conversation left us waiting then leaving. Will have to come back.
Was having a cranky moment so my thoughtful geopartner WallabyTim brought me to this lookout to calm down and gain some perspective. Then he casually hints about a geocache. Needless to say, after the view and finding the cache, I am feeling much better lol. TFTC
Found at 1440.
Well, this cache has been a thorn in my side for 12 months! I've been 6-8 times and knew I was close, but never close enough
Today, I was with spinna76, Stacevel & * SuzySquirrel*, plus some other geocachers were already at GZ, looking as puzzled as I was.
We all looked, poked and felt dumb. Spinna76 gave us a BIG hint and Presto! There is the bl**dy cache!!
It's easy when you know how/where.
A fun cache to finally find

Bwahahaha finally got a chance to have a look again for the cache! and nailed it straight away. Log signed and returned to its hidden place. Thanks for the cache!
Looked for ages yesterday during a rare muggle free window of opportunity, but alas, no luck.
Located the cache fairly quickly. With a bit of minor/major maintenance the log was in hand and signed! Thanks for the adventure.
Had a good look for this one. Reading the logs I knew I didn't have much of a chance but gave it a go anyway. Nice view but no cache. Can't see where it could possibly be on this structure.
Soo... I grew up not far from here.. used to play in this park alot as a kid.. many years ago before it was revamped to match the modern look buderim was going for... back when across the road used to be a palm farm before it turned into a retirement village... used to love those hot days after storms... we'd sneak in and swim around the palms after they had dug giant rings around them to get them out.. after a storm they'd fill up with water and we'd have our own little island getaway with palm and everything......
Anywhoo.. didnt find it.. spent a good hour looking all over the place... tried to think sneaky.. tried to think devilish... no luck... guess i'll just have to go back and look again!

Even with a hint from the CO I couldn't locate this one.. Plus lots of muggles here today. This one will not get the better of me. I will find you, you little bugger.
A weekend planned for Dunethin Rock I set about collecting an odd cache here and there on the way. Unfortunately all I got was views. Called back a couple of days later but the place was full of council muggles.
Decided to head up to Buderim & Mooloolaba, to cache in the area.
Very sneaky. A well thought out and placed cache.
Well worth a favourite point from us.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Parko's, for us and others to find.

finally! on my fourth attempt! out with red dwarfs and secret 7p, and with a clue from the CO, it didn't take long this time.
fp for the view and for letting me sleep at night now.

Today is not my day. #4 DNF for the day. Not happy. So frustrating. Maybe I'm just tired from my early morning attending the Dawn Service.
found this last week with sister. it was one of the best. it hot me addicted to the game. Thanks
On my way to the Brisbane Airport to head home. Very unique cache. TFTC

Log Book is torn and completely full both sides. Did find a spot for my log though.
Needs new log sheet please. Bit weathered and no space left. I put my name in between others.....
Great hide...again!! Be my 5th attempt....I never asked for hints or gave up! Glad I didn't.....very satisfying figuring this out. Lovely morning to be at this park too.....favourite point from me!! Thanks for this fun cache parkos!!
Found with Bedmaker.
We attempted this one on our way to the nearby event but without any luck. After we left the event we thought we'd tackle it again and this time there was success! This one is very well hidden.
Many thanks Parko's!

Found with Tassiegirl13 while up this way for an event today.
This was a sneaky little bugger.
We thought we could quickly grab it on the way past but it was not to be.
After the event we went back and this time saw something unusual and we finally had it found.

I was having an argument with my GPSr and convincing myself that GZ was somewhere else. I decided to trust in the technology when along came Seizer and yep her Garmin agreed with mine. The search continued for about another 20 minutes. I took to reading out logs to try and work things out. We tried sitting down, poking and prodding, twisting and turning, walking away and coming back with fresh eyes when the other half of Seizer did what I thought was the impossible and produced the cache.
This ticks all of the boxes for a favourite - frustrating and clever, a great view with history and the added bonus of meeting other cachers. Nice to meet you and your geopooch, Seizer.
Tftc Parko's - it is put back exactly where it was found.

Stopped here for a lunch break after the nearby 'Happy PI Day' event.
Stretched out lunch as there were quite a few muggles present which wouldn't be beneficial to any search efforts.
Had a cursory look around & was sitting reading recent logs when Red Dwarfs turned up. Had a bit of a chat whilst under the constant surveillance of several nearby muggles & decided to leave it for another time rather than give the game away.
Thanks for placing the cache, we will return to search in earnest!

Tried and failed once before on my own, but this time with the rest of Seizer and in the company of NannaRuby who we had just met celebrating Pi day we were eventually successful.

Visiting geo grandparents doing as many in the buderim area as we can and had this in our sights! Read all the logs and faves - leading to a high level of find anxiety! After 20 min Scram47 geokid spotted the anomaly - similar to one we'd seen in Sydney by zargfinders - TFTC

Wow! Geobro found this one after about 20mins of searching and a fellow geocacher passing by saying, "It's a tricky one!" Scram47 had just given up but he came back over and was mucking around and found a vital part to the find!

After spending over an hour at the park up the road trying to find that evil cache, dad and i stopped off at this lookout on the way home. The GZ was easily located, however we were unable to find the cache. I consulted google maps satellite view, and was able to pin point the likely spot. However staying incognito for to long was hard as a group of muggles were having dinner nearby. I looked high and low, however i wasn't able to find anything. TFTC.
Well !! We have had a few looks for this one had to resort to asking CO for a hint. Tried today but muggle BBQ day, got to GZ again but had to give up before we became TOO obvious. With all the FAV'S it has to be a GOODIE. Off home to Merbein near Mildura so won't be back for a long time. Many thanks
Haha! Wouldn't have found this if Papadavid (who passed by last year) hadn't stared right at it. Retrieval was the easy bit. How long until these Muggles go on their way so I can put it back?!
Way to many muggles about think we found the cache will have to come back soon.
Stopped here to have a quick look but didn't make an honest attempt to find the cache, too many muggles around.
Great hide. Very clever. No mugglers today due to rain so could have a good poke around. Tftf
Wow... Tough one, looked in the same spot several times until we noticed it... Sneaky, have seen one other like this before and still took me ages to see... Geo hubby got this... Can see why it has taken people a few tries... Glad we got it first go )))
I've been here a few times over the years each time without luck. Today the gods must have been smiling on me - it was a walk up find. I can see why I missed it in the past although I'm sure I looked there on many occasions! TFTC
Found with geokids today. Quite puzzled by this one. Knew it had to be here. Took a seat nearby to allow gps to settle, knew I was staring at it but could not see it for looking. Suddenly geokid said "what's this ???" & hey pesto it was in hand. TFTC Parko, another ripper & a favorite again . TNLNSL. All well here.
House Sitting in Caloundra for a few weeks so decided to clear up some caches...
Tagged along with Moosetash on a beautiful sunny Queensland day, just right for caching... Good co-ord's helped us find this well hidden cache, stamped log & replaced... Mr Moosetash made the find on this clever hide... First type of this kind I have seen... Great views from here too... Well worth a fave point...
Thanks for the cache Parko's and for bringing me here... Dipped TB's...

We admired the views quickly on arriving, and then set our minds to finding this cache. At first we weren't too sure if our GPS was on target, but after a while decided we needed to trust it and concentrate on the area it was pointing to. After a fair bit of searching we became more and more determined to get this little sucker. Finally, I said to the Moose that it had to be in this location, but just couldn't work out where/how. He was about to go to some serious lengths of searching, but turned up the hide before he needed to. A fantastic hide, thanks for the challenge.
Fiiinallly found this one, great hide, took few visits... Found another Parkos one nearby and got the idea. Some rain around so no muggles which has been half the battle. Great cache
Third time lucky! Actually not that much luck as I had a hint from the CO. Even with the hint it was not easy to see but it narrowed the possibilities greatly. This has been fun and I'll remember this cache every time I think of Buderim - it is a beautiful place. Thanks Parko's for a superb hide.
searched for nearly an hour with Keden1 and nearly gave up .Decided to have one more go and bingo there it was like the last person we must have had our hand on it a dozen times thanks for the cache very well done
Hi Found it at last with kwaianna took a lot of searching had out hand on the hide many times, about to give up and yea we found it. Great hide. TFTC.
More than two years ago, I was humbled by this cache. Even worse, I had a muggle/ sometime geo-buddy with me who witnessed the painfully long DNF.
Over the years, thinking of Buderim has meant just one thing: this cache, and where it could be.
Today, I had a meeting at St Mark's, and after that, I was determined not to leave town without a smilie on this spot.
Well... I would say it was another 30-40 minutes of torture before finally signing the log.
I simply can't believe how close I was in every respect over and over before finally spotting what I needed. Not for the first time, I think my sunglasses are just too dark! It is otherwise inexplicable to me how I could have been so close without seeing it. How I missed feeling it too... Well, I can't explain that part...
Thanks for a really satisfying find here, Parkos! Needless to say, I did my best to restore the cache back to invisibility. Another fave point to the tally from me.

There was a landscaping worker busying himself a couple of metres away from GZ so I couldn't give it my earnest attention. Maybe next time Parko's!
Terrific views although we (Juc Boy, Geo-ff) were focused on the search - thanks to help from Mickezza we finally succeeded. SLTN. TFTC.

Oh my gosh! Best find ever!! 4th time lucky! But persistence does pay off. Thank you so much for making it a tricky find. Loved it! Go team #geoquiche
Searched for hours the first time and found it in minutes on our second time. Very sneaky hide on ground zero.

Definitely one of the best views from the area. It was just after dusk tonight so the lights were starting to glisten in the distance. After taking in the view I proceeded on to the cache. There were only a couple of features that i had any interest in, and the first one I fixated on I just could not get any response from so soon turned my attentions elsewhere. The only other area I searched also didn't yield anything. I read a few logs but I could not discern anything useful from that that offered any new search area. Returned to the last search area for a more detailed search, included inspection with the iphone but still no luck. A bit of manipulation of the seraach area resulted in a noise that sounded cache like but I could not for the life of me see anywhere else that I hadn't looked. I was just moving away when my hand brushed up against something that gave me a moment of excitement and a short time later I had the cache to hand. Definitely relieved to had grabbed this one just before moving on, a real tricky hide. Tftc

Fantastic Hide! Toke us quite a long time to locate but was looking in the right spot the whole time, just not looking for what we should of been looking for. TFTC.
#322~ Came here last week and knew I was in the right area but just couldn't manage to find it. Arrived again today with Suzy'sSidekick and that_tree_climber and searched and searched. Had to eventually phone a friend and then kicked myself repeatedly that I hadn't spotted something so obvious. TFTC Parko's
Got Ya! Dave went to find by himself and 1 little skylander as the other was asleep in the car. Came back empty handed so mum was sent to tackle. Had a woman's look and yeah score for me! Great cache.
This had me... I looked several times for this b******. I was moments away from pulling the entire park apart... Then, ohhhh, there it is.
