Spent 40 minutes looking in the area but did not find it. I remember years ago visiting the fire watch tower in this area and talking to the observer. I think he was glad to have some company to break up his long boring day.
We looked everywhere and found the right spots judging by the navigation and photos but no geocach could be seen presumed lost
Parked near the telephone towers and had a short walk to the GZ. Spent 20 mins looking but no luck- great view though.
I must be blind as I couldn't find it here today. Had a previous finder with me also and he couldn't find it either
Have a bit of time on my hands lately so I'm slowly filling in dates and converting more green boxes into smiley faces.
So after school drop off and coffee stop meet up with alchey and headed on down to the Anglesea area and then hopefully some in Aireys Inlet - time prevailing of course.
As the weather was on my side I came back down this to this neck of the woods and decided to pick up some more caches along the way.
Thanks anyway lostandfoundmtcz for the cache. Hopefully I'll have another crack at it another time in the not too distant future

Great view, been coming to Anglesea for years and never knew about this one.
We were coming back from a family birthday/camping weekend at Wye River and grabbing a few caches along the way home.
We had just completed the 2 caches near the coal mine and thought we should try this one. The gate at the bottom was open and although it said 4 wheel drive only it looked good and we thought the X Trail is a sort of 4 wheel drive. All was easy until about 20 mts from the top where we where we needed several attempts to negotiate the ruts on the steep hill.
That done we parked and had a nice walk to GZ where the cache was located right where the GPSr was pointing and our name has been added to the log.
We then headed off to get a better look at the powerful view, we did think we might have seen a bit more of the mine from here but it was surprisingly lost behind the trees.
Many thanks lostandfound mtc for the cache and a different view of the power station.

Great view on a crystal clear day after a night of rain. Some good size hills to ride the bike up. Tftc
Found at 1:40pm with LZZ and Riddell on an AWG Bushwalk, while Eudes (who had found it previously) watched on silently. Nice view.

The trek away from the coal mine was a long haul up a dusty road made worse by 4WDs thundering through. A rain shower at the top was too late to prevent our inconvenience but then we were focussed on the reaching the cache which was duly found at 13:35. TFTC
Great find. Well wore track. Great view. We parked near the rabbit ears. Nice walk in.
Found by the youngest geokid (after being told to check that spot). Nice walk and nice spot. Saw a few wildflowers and some interesting bugs. Tftc
Like others parked as close as possible and mad my way to the great Veiws of Anglesea and beyond.
Thanks for the cache lostandfoundmtcz

Day 2 for Sully and I on our trip down here. This was a nice walk along the path to what became a great view, and well worth the stroll in the overcast conditions. thanks lostandfoundmtcz
Wow, what a Beaut view. Bogonghazy and I took the walk along the path to GZ, and even with the cache name, I never expected to see what was before us. Thanks very much to lostandfoundmtcz for the cache and the sights. Adding a fave for a very worthy location.
Headed down the coast to grab a find and keep the streak going. With limited time this guy looked like a good option. Not sure of the best way in I parked as close as I could and wandered in.
At GZ I soon spotted the cache. I signed the log then stopped to take in the views and the distant sound of industry mixing with the bird calls before heading on my way once again.
Thanks lostandfoundmtcz for bringing me to this peaceful spot !

Thank you so much! Great cache great view great scenery and amazing hiding place! Thank you
Great view of the valley from here and a lovely walk with lots of flowers to see. Nice easy cache. Thanks for placing this cache in such a beautiful spot. no travel bugs or geocoins in cache.
First find of the day @ 4.30pm.
Cache was very easy to find as the camo was only around it, not on top, so I fixed that after removing rubbish, adding SWAG and signing the log.
Lucky it's not a high muggle area.
Great location.
No T.B's at all.
Cheers and T.F.T.C =]

Found this one while bush bashing on Bambra, thanks for bringing me to this awesome view TFTC
Quick and easy find with %GeoHawk% Snr, great view from here. Thanks for bring us to this spot . Dropped off a couple if TB's that have been with us for a while. No sign if the other TB's listed!
Was thinking I'd have to go cross country for this one, but managed to find a path right where I parked the car. It led me all the way to GZ for an easy find.
Nice to get a view of the town from this side. Tftc

It was out in the open, we (stephievee and I) put it in a less obvious place for muggles. Happy caching.
I was on my road bike so had to bush bash a little from Harvey Street. Worth it though, for a nice cache with a great view. No sign of TBs in the cache. TFTC
Fantastic out of the way place to let geodog run some energy off. Thanks for taking me there. Picked up one TB. Didn't see any others there.
Found it after a short stroll Signed the log and took in the views before returning to the cars TFTC
It's wonderful walking through this area at this time of year. The spring orchids are starting to bloom whilst the wattle and heath are still in full colour. We swapped the smiley face rubber with a smiley face badge. TFTC.
after getting some local knowledge of this cache a quick short cut led us straight to this cache which also had a great view to go with it

Find 4 of 15 on a day driving, walking and running to Anglesea geocaches.
It was a pleasant short walk to GZ after finding a suitable parking sport.
There were no TBs in there as per the inventory, but I left the Tubbeke TB.
(I just noticed the clever cache name now.)

We got to GZ on a beautiful sunny winter's day, this made the view
much more appreciated. The short walk was just what was needed.

Found it with Niftynevau on a romantic???? weekend. Great view of Anglesea from this vantage point. Thanks for taking the time to plant the cache there.
One of the best views in the area. Please use tracks rather than cutting through bush.
As geocaching has often showed, us the direct route is not the correct one. The view is amazing ... definitely powerful. If you have a look at the pictures, we are pretty sure some scouts have been through this way, as I recognise some of the path markers. The cache contained instructions for passing on a travel bug, JoeyXD' Doggy Tag, however no TB. I'll try to pass on the info, one way or another. Left a geonickel, TN, SL, TFTC!
Quick find today with the kids. Great walk into this area and some great views into the Otways. Inventory suggests 2 TBs present but none there today. TFTC!
nice find, and easy walk with no muggles around, tried to rain on us but withheld long enough
What a great cache to end the day caching along the beach! Both my dog and I enjoyed this walk even while getting harassed by march flys the whole way back! Definitely is March! Left Dog tb, thanks

A lovely early morning stroll with that fresh bush odour in the air. Pity about the mist as the only view we saw was that of the Power Station. Anyway, we upset the spiders again and got the cache.
Encountered several menacing spiders and was forced to undergo a little back and forth with the GPS before I found the cache. Took several photos of the view.

The view was really good. We wouldn't have seen it if not for this cache. Thanks, lostandfoundmtc. It was fully exposed but seemed to be in order. We rectified the problem.
Haha great views allright B1 & B2 beat me again to the TB I'm just a day behind them TFTC TNLN
A nice bushland retreat, after spending most of the day on the beach. Sometimes you forget that our bush is just as beautiful as the beach. Amazed at the view. Who would have thought that there was a Powerful Plant built into the landscape. A lovely walk to a quick find. Both B1 & B2 found. Thanks lostandfoundmtc.
Once path found, (we probably should look first, one time), just enjoyed the view.
Nice little walk into this one. This one had us looking on the opposite site of the valley that we had been on earlier in the day. Found the cache with Jaicmarable & Warringa*. Said hi to a muggle dog that was out for a run and took some good pictures. TFTC
Started this one with a little bush bashing before we found the trail leading us not only to the cache but also to the view!! Too fixed on the GPS I walked straight past the cache only to be called back by Ali. Then we admired the view, from this side of the valley - the opposite side to where we were this morning! Then took the trail back to the road! TFTC
Found on a caching expedition in Anglesea with Bingami and geo-dogs. Great view over Anglesea. TFTC
Last one for the night on way home
,great view from up here at night with all the lights of Anglesea with the power station nice back drop.
log in at 10.30pm all good
Thanks for taking us to the spot.

What a day...16Degrees C, flogging down rain, howling on-shore wind, this was my 8th or 9th on a quick little " local" loop this arvo. I thought I was wet before I started. Nah... Now I'm WET!!!. What an unreal view. I have never been her before. But I will be back. TFTC TNLN.
Great spot on a gorgeous autumn day looking across a very deep blue ocean towards the Mornington Peninsula in the distance. Have been holidaying at Anglesea for 20 years and didn't know about this track near Mt Ingoldsby. Best view in Anglesea. Great spot for a cache. Thanks.
Nice easy cache, had 2 bush bash a bit but the environment and view made it all worth while.

This was next on the way home from today's bushwalk. A very pleasant stroll to GZ was followed by the find at 18:05 after a short search. What a great view across the valley but I think I prefer the green of the magnificent Anglesea GC to the power plant .
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks lostandfoundmtc.

found @ 15:15 with mum and dad (ross47)
After a short search Mum found it.
Brilliant view.
There must have been a ship on the horizon, as it was reflecting light back at us.
