Found while touring around Mt Crawford Forest on the MTB. A nice cool day made for a great time riding around. This cache is one that was found today. An enjoyable stroll along this section of trail. Cheers.

Travelling through some dirt back roads to pick up a few caches. A little chilly but the sun is shining so perfect geocaching weather.
I parked on Tower road and then headed off on foot.
The crack was unmistakable. The plastic bag with logbook left by Davidwazza was nowhere to be seen so I replaced it with a container.
Thanks for the cache Team707 and Omocyunn.

One of three traditional snot too far from home that I’d been saving for a suitable day. The weather is turning cooler, this ridge is a physical challenge for sure, don’t be fooled by the T1:5 rating. Great views, I highly recommend this section of the Heysen Trail.
I hadn’t pre-read logs before arriving here, and I’m keeping it light today. Hence this one is still just a log in a crack, as per Davidwazza well over a year ago now.
Thanks Team707.

We arrived and found the big crack but no cache like the previous person, we another spare in hand we resolved this one in the crack
Today I met up with Davidwazza at Mt Crawford to complete some caches that required a bike, we particularly focused on the area around the Big fat series. After having lunch I was spent and decided to head home and find a few caches along my way. All up 30 finds for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Today, gridge98 and I headed east to Mount Crawford with our bikes. I had a few targets that I had wanted to get to today, but as always, I had more targets and less time to do all of them. Our first cluster of caches was aimed at *SFE Challenge - Milestone 10,000 finds* with the *Big Fat* geocaches nearby as a loop. That was some solid riding up/down the hills, and a few geocaches were time consuming due to their hide types. After a quick Williamstown bakery lunch, we returned to another section in Mount Crawford, and concentrated on the Rocky Paddock campground area with a number of *Animal Facts* geocaches found. Gridge98 departed home, but I had another couple of rides up Tower Hill Track, and also around Rocky Paddock along Gordon Road. I completed the day with a short walk up Mount Crawford boardwalk, and a few miscellaneous finds on my return home. It was a brisk day with cold winds and a few intermittent drizzles, but otherwise not a bad day to be on the bike.
We found the obvious crack rather quickly, but was completely empty with no cache. We read some past logs that appeared to indicate an easy find, and incorrectly searching the wrong tree, so we expanded outwards searching the various trees in the area. We both concluded that our initial searched tree had to be the right tree, as if we were the CO, that would be the ideal hiding spot. A replacement logbook in a plastic bag was left in the crack, covered with a small SPOR (apologies but I did not have any other spare containers remaining). Again, hopefully this is sufficient as a temporary cache until such time that the CO can visit here to inspect. Thanks Team707 and Omocyunn for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Went to find a cache after work.
Had a walk at sunset, found a handful!
So many cracks, so little time.
Hunted in all the wrong cracks for some time, until...
hang on - that looks like a real crack
Hey baby, we found your groovy cache - right where my paw went into the crack
Thanks for placing this one out there Team707
Fav for a neat location and nutty theme!

Still leisurely touring South Australia after the Mega
After a late night enjoying our campfire at our camp at Mt Crawford Mr Felix decided he wanted to don his boots and go hiking today to tackle some caches along the high points of the Heysen trail!
Mrs Felix obliged by being the 'duty' driver for the days exercise.
During this late afternoon walk Mr Felix saw several large kangaroos, and a very healthy fox, and crossed 4 creek crossings on a great afternoon trek through the mud after the recent rains.

Headed out with earthlight and the x trailers to get some of these of the to do list, was a fantastic walk through here with some awesome scenic vantage spots, the weather is great today so this made our lives a bit easier, would be tricky on a hot day, didn't really see much wildlife except for 1 big male roo, we will be back to finish of the ones we missed today. This one is a small and not a micro.

Further along the trail and definitely further UP the hill to locate this cache
Stopped to admire the view along the way to this cache
We were only able to locate the correct crack when we stood and looked back towards the trail
Took our tb's along for the hike

Miss GG and I decided to take a bit of a hike in the forest, so we looked for a few caches we could do as well.
As we looked around we saw this little trail, the terrain didn't look to bad so we thought perfect..
Yeah the terrain might be OK when you get here.. but how about the journey to it.. def a 3 not 2
Thanks for the walk Team707 Beautiful views up here... really cant wait to come out this way again and do a few more

Geohubby and I had spotted this nice looking series in the Warren Conservation Park and felt that attempting the series would be a great way to get some much needed exercise
Our second find in a very nice series. A beautiful walk on a lovely warm May day.
Many thanks for the hide Team707 [^]

I was on a bit of a tight schedule on this walk, and with loads of caches on my route I told myself I'd only allow 5 minutes searching per cache. Unfortunately there were too many cracks for me to reach into in the allotted time, so no cigar for me! Maybe next time.
Just checking that no more prisoners escaped, Prisoner Zero was quite a handful, This crack is so big you could get a Slitheen through it.

Yeah Rustic Relics, I did spot the hide first... cheeky bugga! The weather was great, the trail was great and even the company wasn't too bad (a bit rusty though)! TFTC Team707!

Wooo Hoooo, and again, Wooo Hoooo, a find ( LOL ). Email from team 707 and a find. See previous DNF.
Fav point becouse we spent 30 min on and under or should we say in, up to our arm pits. Sorry Steph but I still need the original contents of the other cache containers. Seriously this is a great walk on a part of the heysen trail. TNLN did not sign log.

This one just does not seem fair, Great walk from tower road, found the right crack, cleaned out the inside of crack but no go, Rang the wanderer to confirm we had it right but went to voice mail. Should we leave a replacement cache??? Better not in case we are wrong. Take photo on phone to prove we found it. Get back to car only to get a call from the Wanderer and be told Team 707 knows its gone and will replace cache in a few days. DAMN!!!!. Think we should be given a find anyway, what do you think team 707?
Went for a walk up here last weekend with an American guest, but without GPS. Looked for cache and couldn't find it, but couldn't be sure that was where we hid it! Went back today with GPS and discovered it gone, so replaced. Sorry for those who looked! I think ajtmb can claim the find, as can sirchers if they read this log. It's obvious you were both looking in the right place! Some animal must collect M&M containers!
Spent a while looking on the outbound and return trip with no luck.
Found a nice crack around GZ but had lots of rotten matter in it. Dug for a long time but no find.
Try again later.

Second find of the BF Series...
Walked in from the carpark on Wirra Wirra Rd, nr the Old School house. Found a long skinny crack and thought that it might be it, but nearby was a bigger fatter one.
Thanks for the cache, Team707

[blue]14:16 Headed from Log towards Crack[/blue]
A nice section of the track across the top of the hill.
Put my walking stick right near the cache and didn't see it then spent a while looking everywhere else. Ended up checking the listing to come up a winner and there it was right where I started.

Out doing a few caches by bike this morning....weather was nice, but should have brought a bike with gears! Single speeding on some of these hills was tough!
Nice part of the forrest that we havent explored yet.

The little Swan found this one quickly...yes that is a Big Fat Crack. Cheers & TFTC!
Not another micro in the rocks I thought. Started to look for suitable cracks when I spotted the cache in a crack I hadn't expected. TFTC Team707
I spent ages with the GPS telling me the cache was somewhere else. (I was to discover that nearly all of the series had co-ords that were way off – which makes looking for micros in the bush pretty challenging)
After casting my net a bit wider (8-9 metres), I spotted the ‘rude’ tree and knew I’d found it [^].

Say no to crack (unless there is a cache within ).
For out in the middle of no where, we were almost muggled out here. We had only just rehid big fat hole and started off to this one when some muggle hikers started approaching from this direction. All the way to this cache there was a constant stream of hikers. Talk about peak hour traffic. Luckily we past the last just as we approached this cache so it was pretty good timing.

Too many cracks here, I looked in the right one, on the outbound leg, but didn't see any thing. TDS pointed me in the right direction though.
The trees on the Wirra Wirra Peaks are amazing !
So many of them and obviously quite old.
This one showed us an unusual side !
TNLNSL. Bronze podium again.
Thanks again Team707 & Omocyunn.

After taking the fire track instead of the Heysen Trail at the base of Wirra Wirra, my only option was to scale the hill on the eastern side of the cache...where's the respirator??!!! Maybe it was lack of oxygen but I was walking in circles for awhile before I had this one in hand. SL TFTC
Whoooo Hooooo!!!! First to Find!! at 2.55pm. Hadnt noted the cache size and thought "the crack" was something geologic rather than organic... so this took longer than it should have!! An outstanding series ... just my cup of tea!!! Thanks Team 707 for the hide!!
