Need to be fit to find this one & shame that it was empty other than the small finders pad
Found while touring around Mt Crawford Forest on the MTB. A nice cool day made for a great time riding around. This cache is one that was found today. Bit of a steep hike but a quick find here.
Find #5669 on 19 Apr 2023.

Travelling through some dirt back roads to pick up a few caches. A little chilly but the sun is shining so perfect geocaching weather.
I parked on Tower road and then headed off on foot.
Mid search a big male kangaroo startled me when he came with about 15m from me to graze. Having recently experienced aggression from a similar sized kangaroo down near Victor Harbour, I was a little on edge. I made lots of noise to try and shew him away, but he didn’t even flinch. He wasn’t concerned about me so took a photo and then went back to my Geocaching.
The eclipse tin left by Davidwazza has been replaced with a larger container.
Thanks for the cache Team707 and Omocyunn.

We arrived at this one and could see the obvious hide location a previous finder had sent a photo of where it used to be and so it was missing, we replaced the cache in the tree to keep it alive
Today I met up with Davidwazza at Mt Crawford to complete some caches that required a bike, we particularly focused on the area around the Big fat series. After having lunch I was spent and decided to head home and find a few caches along my way. All up 30 finds for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Today, gridge98 and I headed east to Mount Crawford with our bikes. I had a few targets that I had wanted to get to today, but as always, I had more targets and less time to do all of them. Our first cluster of caches was aimed at *SFE Challenge - Milestone 10,000 finds* with the *Big Fat* geocaches nearby as a loop. That was some solid riding up/down the hills, and a few geocaches were time consuming due to their hide types. After a quick Williamstown bakery lunch, we returned to another section in Mount Crawford, and concentrated on the Rocky Paddock campground area with a number of *Animal Facts* geocaches found. Gridge98 departed home, but I had another couple of rides up Tower Hill Track, and also around Rocky Paddock along Gordon Road. I completed the day with a short walk up Mount Crawford boardwalk, and a few miscellaneous finds on my return home. It was a brisk day with cold winds and a few intermittent drizzles, but otherwise not a bad day to be on the bike.
Another location where we had a pretty good look, but alas no luck. I've also never seen gridge98 look so hard at the base of the tree, digging the deepest hole ready for a large sized container to placed here! After scoping the nearby stump for caches, and then the fallen log's hole for cache evidence, we reached out to a previous finder, who appeared to confirm where the cache should have been (in that log hole). I had a good look inside there, and so we concluded that this was yet another location where the cache had been muggled. A replacement Eclipse mint container with waterproof logbook paper was left in the standing tree stump, in a small nook covered by bark. Hopefully this can be temporary for the time being until such time that the CO can return to inspect the cache. Thanks Team707 and Omocyunn for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Went to find a cache after work.
Had a walk at sunset, found a handful!
This was the first, but had the urge to find some more, so kept walking up the hill!
Five months since a big fat find
Thanks for placing this one out there Team707

Decided on an arvo trekkin some of the the Big fat series today. Found after a short but sweet climb up the trail.TFTC
Found whilst out for a walk with Roverrock. Lucky that we were walking in a break in between the showers as it was raining just before we arrived and started again just after we got back to the car. Very windy on top of Wirra Wirra peaks this afternoon but great views to be had. TFTC
Warning this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise.

Found before I had my own Geo account. Found with Csaba! (Dad) while staying at the old school house. Tra La Laaaa
Came by to check this cache as it had been reported missing- sorry to those who tried and failed, but they were correct. There is now a new container and log book.
Second fail from three attempts
And I was loosing the sunlight , so it was time to give up for the day.
I wonder if the cache has rolled away?

Epic fail you pwned us n00bs...
Strange. This cache has never not been found and it was not found today. You are only as good as your next find. I had two looks for the cache and failed both times. GZ looks obvious. Perhaps too obvious.

Still leisurely touring South Australia after the Mega
After a late night enjoying our campfire at our camp at Mt Crawford Mr Felix decided he wanted to don his boots and go hiking today to tackle some caches along the high points of the Heysen trail!
Mrs Felix obliged by being the 'duty' driver for the days exercise.
During this late afternoon walk Mr Felix saw several large kangaroos, and a very healthy fox, and crossed 4 creek crossings on a great afternoon trek through the mud after the recent rains.

Headed out with earthlight and the x trailers to get some of these of the to do list, was a fantastic walk through here with some awesome scenic vantage spots, the weather is great today so this made our lives a bit easier, would be tricky on a hot day, didn't really see much wildlife except for 1 big male roo, we will be back to finish of the ones we missed today. TFTC
Out caching with 3LG and Earthlight
Geo hubby stayed back at the car due to the terrain and hike to further caches in the series
Linda from 3LG and I lagged behind LIz(earthlight) headed one way on the trail while Michael(3LG) forged ahead from slightly off the trail
Cache was located when we all arrived at ground zero

Miss GG and I decided to take a bit of a hike in the forest, so we looked for a few caches we could do as well.
As we looked around we saw this little trail, the terrain didn't look to bad so we thought perfect..
Yeah the terrain might be OK when you get here.. but how about the journey to it.. def a 3 not 2
Thanks for the walk Team707 Beautiful views up here... really cant wait to come out this way again and do a few more

Geohubby and I had spotted this nice looking series in the Warren Conservation Park and felt that attempting the series would be a great way to get some much needed exercise
The third cache in the series, and our third find
Thanks again Team707[^]

The end of my walk on the Heysen nearly finished and some time to spare, grab a cache or 2.TFTC
Rain starting to fall which didn't help as I had left my jacket at home, but headed out to find this one in a big fat hole.
Found this one quick smart while enjoying a great walk on this section of the Heysen Trail. Thanks Team707
Oh look its almost like the Tardis bigger on the inside only not blue and can't travel through time and space. Yes we found the big fat hole glad it wasnt a black one we've been through a few of those.

Found with Rustic Relics on a great day in the forest. Fantastic views from the ridge top, thanks for the cache and for bringing us here Team707!
It sure is hot today, nice spot in the shade. TFTC Mr C (Jonno couldn't come today).
Found at 11:04 by Olga. Somehow we found we had left the Heysen Trail before the previous cache. Must pay more attention
Found with Eden Hills Scouts on 06/10/2012, the correct date despite Mok'n Maccas log listing the find as 06/09/2012! No doubt Eden Hills visit to many in the series will be logged on both dates!
We enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for the series.
We enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for the series.
I have realised that the Eden Hills Scouts visit to various caches on 06/10/2012 were logged "in the field" when the us time was in fact still day 06/09/2012. So Mok'n Macca don't in fact disagree!
Found while out and about with Kymbo & Co. Thanks for the cache.

Found by Eden Hills Scouts. The scouts took a stick man and left hand and shoe wrist band.
The little pirate came with me up the hill while the rest stayed behind. Good thing as I needed her to crawl in and get it. Thanks.
Walked past this from tower road so we could start at the beginning and find on the way back. By now I really needed the intended contents off this cache container but had to settle for h2o. great walk on the Heysen trail.
Easy find. Took my bike along to make the finds faster but made it hard through this section.!

Out doing a few caches by bike this morning....weather was nice, but should have brought a bike with gears! Single speeding on some of these hills was tough!
Nice part of the forrest that we havent explored yet.

This one was no drama and probably the easiest one I found all day. Another mug in the forest . No swaps. Cheers
After travelling West and North from Beaver, we shifted the car to 34 40.021 138 57.708 to walk to Hole, Crack and Brown Log. It was getting late in the day, and the initial steep section almost finished us off, as we had already walked 10kms to the others! But when there are caches to be found it's amazing where the extra strength and stamina comes from [^] Thanks
We were looking at the little hole on the other side first before we spotted the big fat hole on the other side. Cool den for foxes.

Very unusual the way these trees have grown. We have to wonder what happened for them to become so twisted [?].
This place could look rather spooky at dusk or at night with the shadows [xx(]!
Took sun disc. Left a star. SL. Another Bronze Podium.
Thanks for one more Team707 & Omocyunn.
