A micro and not found since 2022... waves of doom started rolling in. We gave it a good shot but didn't find the cache.
Camping on some nearby property, took the MTB for a spin up along this trail to grab a couple caches. This one was one that was found today.
Find #4552 on 2 Oct 2022.

With this being right near the start Davidwazza made the quick find here
Today I met up with Davidwazza at Mt Crawford to complete some caches that required a bike, we particularly focused on the area around the Big fat series. After having lunch I was spent and decided to head home and find a few caches along my way. All up 30 finds for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Today, gridge98 and I headed east to Mount Crawford with our bikes. I had a few targets that I had wanted to get to today, but as always, I had more targets and less time to do all of them. Our first cluster of caches was aimed at *SFE Challenge - Milestone 10,000 finds* with the *Big Fat* geocaches nearby as a loop. That was some solid riding up/down the hills, and a few geocaches were time consuming due to their hide types. After a quick Williamstown bakery lunch, we returned to another section in Mount Crawford, and concentrated on the Rocky Paddock campground area with a number of *Animal Facts* geocaches found. Gridge98 departed home, but I had another couple of rides up Tower Hill Track, and also around Rocky Paddock along Gordon Road. I completed the day with a short walk up Mount Crawford boardwalk, and a few miscellaneous finds on my return home. It was a brisk day with cold winds and a few intermittent drizzles, but otherwise not a bad day to be on the bike.
We ended up seeing this cache container out in the open beneath the tree, and I was surprised to see how this cache has lasted like that - perhaps not many muggles have come through this way. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. We hid slightly better just so it would remain to be found in the future. Thanks Team707 and Omocyunn for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

It was an absolute ripper of an afternoon so I was glad I had planned to head out and do some caching. Unfortunately due to my late arrival to work as I had been to the coffee event in the morning meant I did not get all my scheduled tasks finished until 2.30pm thus shortening my available caching time.
Undeterred I headed off to my target caches and found 6 for the afternoon. I went on a fabulous walk and my iWatch was happy with my step count.
Listened to kookaburras singing, saw many sheep and roos and enjoyed the greeness and the babbling brook, it was almost like I was in England (apart from the kookaburras and the roos of course).
This was a nice quick find, sadly only a mint tin though when a nice regular container could easily be concealed here. TFTC Team707 and Omocyunn.

Figured I need some more practice at this caching game,
so went for a walk in a big fat forest !
Interesting bunch of caches down here.
Nice quick find for a change. But a mint tin... at least it wasn't sticky !

What a beauty tree and even a local to amuse the et al while I located the cache. TFTC
Wasnt sure but yep. That was it. Tftc. Decided to get out of the house thro this bleak cold winter. Bit wet but still doable. Log was dry but had seen weather wet so added dry page.
Found whilst out on a geocaching walk with the family. Found after a quick search - pretty much stepped on it before finding it shortly after! TFTC
Came by to check this series- this one present and accounted for. (Looks a bit like a bit of rubbish though!)
Yep it was in the BF stick.

Still leisurely touring South Australia after the Mega
After a late night enjoying our campfire at our camp at Mt Crawford Mr Felix decided he wanted to don his boots and go hiking today to tackle some caches along the high points of the Heysen trail!
Mrs Felix obliged by being the 'duty' driver for the days exercise.
During this late afternoon walk Mr Felix saw several large kangaroos, and a very healthy fox, and crossed 4 creek crossings on a great afternoon trek through the mud after the recent rains.

Geohubby and I had spotted this nice looking series in the Warren Conservation Park and felt that attempting the series would be a great way to get some much needed exercise.
Gehubby nabbed this cache very quickly, we signed the log, crossed the nearby style and decided this should probably be our last find for the day. We walked back up to Springton Road and then headed back up to the Old Schoolhouse and the car. More than enough exercise today for a couple of seniors needing to get back into shape.
We hope it won't be long before we are back to finish the series. Many thanks for those we have done so far Team707.....we had a ball. [^]

We've had these caches on our radar for some time but just hadn't gotten around to getting out to find them until today. The weather was cool and damp so it wasn't too hot to walk around the area. We made a quick find and sign on this one before heading along to the next one. TFTC
Was expecting something a lot stickier, glad it wasn't as I didn't bring the geo wipes. A quick find for the first in the completion of this series.

It was pretty obvious where this cache was going to be, so I'm still wondering how it took me so long to find it!! But I did eventually! Thanks Team707 for a great series that kept me going on my hike to-day!
Took the time today to do the other half of the "Big Fats". Visited with geoschnauzer in tow. TFTC
Found with Rustic Relics on a nice sunny Sunday afternoon walk. Nothing brown and sticky in sight! TFTC Team707!
Out for the afternoon with SA4ages, Once over the gate and a brisk walk we were there for the first one for the day. Thanks for the hide.

Found at 13:28 by Olga. The tree has at least two dead lambs in it, so I am glad it wasn't in there
Found by Eden Hills Scouts. Our travel bug was unable to be placed here as it didn't fit. Thanks
Another cache that proved elusive due to the GPSr wanting me to look elsewhere. Eventually the possibilities were ruled out and the cache found some distance from the posted GZ.
Thanks for the cache and the series Team707 and Omocyunn.

Ninth find of the BF series...
Only 'got' the hint after finding this one. Very exposed and probably needs to find a better location but I left it in the same spot.

Out doing a few caches by bike this morning....weather was nice, but should have brought a bike with gears! Single speeding on some of these hills was tough!
Nice part of the forrest that we havent explored yet.

Found the time for a decent walk with Don't Panic Arthur and geomum so out to finish off the Big Fat series. Found this one first when a little bit of colour was spotted.

Found after a short look in the more obvious place, then spotted a bit of colour. Very wet around GZ today after all the rain yesterday. TFTC Team707
Another where I’m looking for a micro with a GZ that encompasses an area that literally has dozens of places to hide a micro. It was only perseverance and a determination NOT to have a DNF on any of the series that drove me to search ... And search .... And search! It was only the glint of the coloured container that finally gave it away. I’m still having fun, enjoying the walk, though [^].
The river wasn't too bad today, but took great care as neither of us are very nimble on our feet! And our feet were wet by now anyway! After we crossed the stile we walked down the road to the left for a little way to check out the stream there. Saw some lovely little Red Browed Finches (Firetails) birds near the water. Next stop will be lunch at Freemans Hut. Thanks
Returned to this series today after doing five last week down the Wirra Wirra end. Cold bleak conditions must have affected the brain as this took way to long! Realised that I was following DISK but our paths never crossed!!
Another cache we found exposed . It was also starting to get damp, so we put the log scroll in a resealable bag .

First for me and the four legged RedLeggie on a beautiful winters day. ++++ BRONZE++++, as with all logs today I signed as the 1st of August...Whooops! This cache was also a benchmark being the teams 400th cache. A beautiful stroll alongside the stream to the cache and a cache hidden in a not where I was expecting spot. SL TFTC
Had a fantastic walk to this cache through beautiful country side. Knew we were following in someones footsteps. Turned out we came second to the TiedyeSmileys.
Only 30 minutes in it. Looking forward to having time to do the whole series. TFTC Team707. Great setting for a series.

Whoo hoo, FTF .
Saw these come out at lunch but with Mrs TiedyeSmileys working, didn't think there would be any FTFs up for grabs. After she returned home we went for a drive and then stroll (which is really lovely next to the bubbling stream) and were very pleasantly surprised by the FTF.
