Monday - and its time to head home. We met up with everyone for the morning before heading to a couple of caches together, then we split from the gang and started our slow trek home. We stopped for caches, so it took us all day to get home. But we had fun doing so. Warragamba was probably the highlight for me. We spent quite a bit of time there, including having lunch at the takeaway. It wasnt too bad, just fish and chips and we sat at one of the AL WPs at the recreational area. Then it got late and the last couple of hours was just driving directly to home. This cache: Found all good. Got it open but the log has been wet and now dry. Just signed on top of others. Tftc!!!

The Hunchback of Notre Dame was a good book.
Luckily I've read it (albeit a very long time ago, maybe now I feel inspired to reread it) so when I saw the signs I pulled over.

I could see a muggle not far up the driveway collecting fallen timber but ignored him and went about my business knowing he could not actually see me.

Sometimes when you touch things you get a pleasant surprise!
I had not expected it to conceal the cache but it did!

SL and returned to the geomobile and noticed the muggle was still collecting wood. Suddenly he was at my window "Do you know you are on private property", he says. Except I wasn't.
I replied I had just pulled over in what looked like a safe spot to check where I was going asked what was he doing inside the gate? He dashed off like a frightened hare.

Good grief, the tech trouble continues. Maybe I should get the paper map and compass out. After issues with Google Maps getting me to my last find, I'm typing this log for the third time as the Groundspeak app signed me out and reset all of my settings in the middle of typing twice. Thankfully a new update was available so hopefully I'll finish this time.

Otherwise another quick find here. Easy parking on the right side of the private property signs and a stroll to the cache. Although it's hardly unusual, I was amused by the difference between the front and back of the walls. I sort of thought this cache might have a themed container, but I couldn't think what.

The cache itself is doing just sign but the top of the camo fell into two pieces when I touched it, maintenance needed I'm afraid. I managed to balance everything back in place until then.

ETA: I thought it was an odd name for some bushland and paddocks so I googled it. Quite the story. https://shhsydney.wordpress.com/2018/02/21/notre-dame-sydneys-top-secret-abandoned-zoo-sister-site-of-el-caballo-blanco-amusement-park/

We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Emu Plains for a short 3 day caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains, and are planning to explore the areas between Penrith and Warragamba, including a stop-off on arrival day at St Marys. Hoping to collect some previously solved Puzzle caches and to also complete the Adventure Labs at St Marys, Penrith and Warragamba. Will also be on the hunt for Natural Wonders and Solar System Wonders, to complete the Wonders of the World souvenir challenge.

Today is the last day of our short Penrith holiday, but before heading for home we will be visiting the Penrith Showground Markets (ended up purchasing a pair of blue Budgies and a pair of Gouldian Finches) before completing the Penrith Tourist Trail Adventure Lab (but sadly ended up DNFing it's associated AL Bonus cache), then caching our way to Mulgoa, and finishing up with some previously solved Puzzle/Mystery caches at Kingswood. This was our 6th find of the day, and 58th find of the holiday.

The cache name made sense on arrival at GZ (them bells them bells Smile), and the cache was a quick find. Nice sneaky camo on this one, it blends in well. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. And just for the stats, this is our running numbers find 4-5-6-7. TFTC The Booos.

**Cache Condition:** Good.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
**Trackables:** None seen in this cache today.

**The Cache**
NOICE !! This had me looking for a bit too long. I kept honing in on one spot and then voila! Signed the log with our caching names or some scrambled form of *TOC, DJJ, LP* or even attached a cache name sticker, and then returned cache to its hide'y hole exactly as found. The bats are going mad, didn't like me there. The owner rolled in the gate just as I got back in the car. They/he/she didn't stop but certainly slowed, obviously watched but kept going so I left promptly. I love the came name, cache location - nicely themed - and of course the cache was well done for this spot. fav worthy.
