No finds or maintenance despite a year of DNFs. Please either fix, or put it out of its misery.
Just adding my official DNF log from yesterday. I don’t just beg for maintenance without looking first!
Argh. It seems there’s a few in the area needing a bit of love. I’d be amazed if a cache with this rating would be consistently DNF’ed. Worth a check I think.
Curious. No sign of it today in the obvious GZ. Had a quick look but a thousand muggles stopped for the ferry. Out visiting a mate's new place for a bucks camping adventure! Will probably return in the future to try again.

Big Day out planned with Rodney1210, 60 caches in total. Nice quick find today..

After crossing the other Wiseman's Ferry and heading up to St Albans, came back this way to collect the W2W series. Quick stop off to get this one first. Had to laugh on approach as I made sense of the cache name. Was able to grab the cache just as the ferry departed but before I could replace, a group of motorbike riders and steady stream of cars pulled up. Had to wait them out before I was able to replace undetected.

Easy enough to wait until the ferry traffic leaves, and then they are all looking the other way; it seems to take more vehicles than you'd think. TFTC!
Day 1 of a school holiday trip to Wisemans Ferry in our brand new geomobile, spending a couple of nights at the Del Rio Riverside Resort, and collecting some caches along the way as we explore this historic area. This was the 11th of 11 finds for the day.
After crossing the Hawkesbury River on the Webbs Creek Ferry, we stopped on the opposite bank to grab this one, our last cache for the day. Had a chuckle at the “modified” sign, and can now see where the cache name comes from. TFTC SearchnLog.

Previously logged under team account BoogieRogue. Re-logging with my individual account. Geochick was a wee bit too short to get this one. She had to jump up a number of times to get to the cache to the great amusement of the passers by. TFTC

Waited just a few minutes for the ferry to clear before the quick grab and replace.

Managed to keep the pants on, find the cache and go back on the same ferry run! TFTC!
Found this one quickly after getting off the ferry and stopping for a quick toilet break for the kids.

I was in the area because I was performing at St Albans folk Festival. Glad to see this one is back in play. Nice quick find this time after the ferry traffic had driven off. TFTC
Had no problems in finding this cache. The cache was found quickly and easily while waiting for the ferry. The scrap piece of paper was signed and the cache was replaced as found. Thank you SearchnLog for placing this cache.
#1083 made it up to Wiseman's Ferry in the rain so crossed over on the Webb Creek Ferry and got this a bit more than a park & grab but not much more. Quickly had the cache in hand signed and replaced as found before either myself or the log got too wet. Thanks for the cache SearchnLog

12/3/17. 7:35 AM. Cache #4841.
4th of 4 finds today - Maroota, Wisemans Ferry
Up for an early morning drive; 3 x 2TF on Bus stops 6, 4 & 5 and then this cache
After "Bus stop 5", I wanted one more, so I took the Webb Creek Ferry across the river to get the only Wiso cache I still hadn't found. (Already had all the ones on the southern side in The Hills and Hornsby council parts, and had #19 Haunted Highway from Central Coast side).
Once across and looking back at GZ, an obvious place for it to be hidden, haha. Noticed last finders mentioned a wet log. Well, no sign of cache or log for me today. I had a replacement in the car which I put in the obvious place, together with log paper I had signed. Wrote to CO to get approval.
Over 6 months unloved, too. Got the ferry back over and headed for home. Must come back over for the W2W series some time. TFTC.

I headed back up to Ebenzer to try and finish TeamMerlins wonderful series and grab a few others while I could. I went via Wisemans Ferry again to grab a few around there I missed last time.
Tftc, this one had fallen off on my previous visit. Easy find now that it was back!

It was in the right spot but hard to open. Definitely need to look really well
Out with JJCC on a cache run to find an Old School cache in the Great North Road at Wisemans Ferry.
Parking back from the queue of cars waiting for the ferry, we waited until everyone departed on their crossing before walking up to the cache and making a very quick find in the spot we expected to find the cache. With the cache safely in hand, we both signed the log before replacing as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Next stop is todays target cache #19 Haunted Highway on the Great North Road.

Out with Team Merlin to find an Old School cache in the Great North Road at Wisemans Ferry.
With coordinates in hand we parked a short distance away and waited until the nearby muggles had boarded the ferry. Approaching GZ we made a very quick find in the first spot we looked. With the cache in hand, we both signed the log before replacing as found. Both the log and cache are in good condition. This was the second of four caches today.

After an afternoon ride and lunch at St Albans pub, I came back this way and parked nearby. While I waiting for the 'support' vehicle, I walked over and made the find easy. It was in the right spot this time. Then the family caught up and we waited for the punt back over. TFTC.
Took a lot of time to find. Cache had fallen from position and was in the bushes covered by leaves. May need a stronger magnet.
Easily seen by niggles so timing is of the essence!

Took some finding in the leaves as it had fallen down. Placed back in the obvious spot.

from the title I thought I knew where it would be, but the gps wanted me closer to the ferry - either way - no luck today.
Found where it should have been in reference to the logs and the name, but it wasn't there! Not sure if it's fallen or if we just weren't looking hard enough!
Stopped after getting off the ferry with the Moose. No sign of cache where I think it should have been. Might have fallen into the bushes.
After a find on 'Old Northern Invertebrates' and passing after a brief look at 'The History of Wiseman's' I took the Webb's Creek ferry to return home chasing the W2W series. First stop just after alighting from the ferry then waiting for another vehicle and pedestrians to move on away from the area before searching for this one.
Quickly found, log signed and cache replaced. tftc

Driving the St Albans loop with a couple of muggles, I was able to attempt this one as we had to stop for the ferry. Fortunately, the ferry was on the other side so I had plenty of time to grab the cache from the obvious spot. At GZ I had a bit of a chuckle
Thanks SearchnLog.

Well spotted a likely clue / indicator and it turned out to be correct - although I had previous finder C62 with me I didn't need his expertise and geoboyfriend watched on as the ferry approached. The muggles lining up for their free ride were none the wiser as to what we were up to. Wandered back to the car and was back in before the ferry arrived. I've previously only been here on the October long weekend, camping (if you can call it that) at Del Rio, so the queue was the smallest I've ever seen it!
Very clever. With eyes wide open there actually is a clue for this cache. TFTC SL
It was beautiful weather so i took a little walk around Wisemans Ferry looking for some caches. It is a great area and I have taken the opportunity to go along the conivct great which was very informative and interessting to look at.
After, I went to the Del Rio Riverside Resort and took the Ferry across to have one of their yummy schnitzels on the waterfront.

Keep your pants on!
After our adventure up the Great North Track we found ourselves with alittle bit of spare daylight to gather a few more caches around the area.
This being the first one of few, then we headed down towards the W2W power trail.
Cache was sitting in the grass after being knocked off its hiding position.

An easy find after jumping the car across the river due to the ferry having disappeared. Might need the chasis straightened

#1702 (6 of 7 today)
Headed north today towards Wiseman's Ferry to pick up a particular cache for my #1700 milestone. But before I get there I have 3 other caches to pick up.
Unfortunately, my plans were put into disarray somewhat as the first cache was a DNF. Now I'm one short...
But I ended up compensating with a long bush walk I'd originally intended to do after the milestone. Luckily it all went to plan from here - the milestone was grabbed along with a number of other quality caches.
A good day all round.
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Oops. Got back to Wiseman's Ferry and realised I'd missed a cache on my way back from my last find - Run Of The Mill. I blame the School Bus on my tail the whole way.
Nothing for it but to take two ferries and I found myself here. Another quick find - I do love the sign - and completed signing duties.
I could have taken the ferry straight back, but decided to enjoy the view as the ferry approached again.
Darkness is approaching... Time for one more? Sill question.

This was a quick find, but it was all about timing to collect it and returning it to its hidden resting place before being spotted by muggles embarking and disembarking from the ferry.
I did..... Find the cache and kept my pants on on the way back from St. Albans for lunch

#2993- This was my last of 16 caches for the day from Windsor to Wisemans Ferry. This final part of the road was very rough and in parts there had been some small rockfalls. I kept thinking I was glad I now had the x-trail instead of the old pulsar- don't think it would have been too happy here.
The log had been replaced recently and me not being a local didn't know how long this one had been there. I signed in the 3TF space only to realise when I got home that it had been established in 2011. Nice to see caches that stand the test of time. I found it before turning around to make my trip home to the Blue Mountains. A lovely caching day in a beautiful area. Thanks

WOW, the ants like this cache, we had to remove so many from it before we could get the log out. Got it back in place as other cars started to arrive.
After a beautiful drive through St. Albans we drove back on the other side of the river and whilst we were waiting in the very long queue for the ferry, we jumped out to escape the heat of an un-airconditioned car.
The obvious GZ was spotted but I very much doubt the cache is still here. Needs a check up

Is this cache still here? Has not been found since June 2014. Owner needs to check it out or remove the cache from listing!
Spent quite a long time searching for this with the Rock Spiders but not successful. Is it still there? Last recorded find was 30th June this year; seems like a long time hidden!
Didn't find it. Spent about half an hour looking for this with the Rock Spiders. See note logged earlier.
Spent about half an hour looking for this one on a quiet afternoon at the ferry crossing...must be hiding out with his pants down. Found the obvious GZ easily enough, but nothing other than empty bottles for metres around
We had a quick search while there were no cars lined up to cross the ferry. We couldn't spot anything and once one car pulled up we gave up the search as we looked very odd!
I wanna take my pants off. Or at least replace the lead in my pencil that broke halfway through. Tftn
Its been a while since I got a park and grab. But I was in quite a long queue for the ferry after doing a 100k mountain bike race at St Albans, so thought why not?
Great cache we had a lot of time to find this one due the ferry line extending out of sight. Didn't need much time though resulting from the great name of cache. TFTC
Returning from a church training weekend I stopped to look for this before joining the queue. Had a giggle and made a quick find, then jumped on the queue all in the time it took for the ferry to make the crossing.

Waiting for the ferry I checked the GPS. 17 metres to the nearest one!?! So, I looked around had a laugh, then after a short walk I made an easy find.

After having gotten off the ferry, we walked back and found this cache. The name of the cache was fun, sort of...
We understood what the name of the cache meant as we found it. It was a quick find, unlike the length of the wait to cross the ferry to this side!! Thanks SearchnLog

Continuing the caching run with C62. Last one for the day. Found as we waited for the ferry. Understood what the cache name meant. Problem with the log - waterlogged. Left a dry sheet of paper, duly signed, for the next cacher. CO might replace the log with a new dry one ASAP. TFTC

Log is unable to be signed. It is a sodden blob! It desperately needs a maintenance job!

Out on a caching run with Geotooter today. Thought we'd do the run up to Wiseman's Ferry and pick up the First Fleet series. This was our last find and we wondered what the title meant. Arriving at GZ all was answered. We were second in line. First in line was preoccupied with something, probably a mobile phone, so didn't take any notice of us. Cache was retrieved but we couldn't sign the log. It was just pulp. cache was returned without incident and we boarded the ferry and headed on home. Thanks SearchnLog for the First Fleet series. I counted eight boat caches. I thought there were eleven boats in the First Fleet. Perhaps three of them have been archived.

It helps if you are first in line for the ferry.
This would be difficult with muggles about.

Walked onto the ferry to get to this one. I agree about the log - too wet to be used. I suspect its in too low a position?
