Logs
Looked and looked but did not find. However, enjoyed Mowbray Park farm itself for a holiday! Farm activities and leisurely sports. We were told it is to change hands next month, hopefully it remains family-friendly.
Yikes that was a job for the tippy toes! Log is pretty damaged from being wet. TFTC
Cords slightly off but noticed something different in area we looked previously and soon had CIH
Coords a bit off. Found after expanding our search. Signed log and replaced as found. TFTC
A drive south with ilook4geo was organised to collect some caches for the day. We have been caching around this area for quite a while and we were happy to find enough caches, even though it was hot. This one was a quick find and was reached by the taller cacher. The log was soon signed and replaced as found. Thanks go to Bulba's for placing a cache here.
Visited this area with goingplaces2 to gather some more caches to add to the tally. Easy find after noticing something that didn't look quite right. TFTC.
Streak Day #3895 - Over this way with Dave8153 for our cache of the day. Quick find for us today. TFTC
10 March 2024This is find number: 9341Streak Day: 3006Found Today with Snoopy1976, a quick and easy find for us here today. ThanksThanks to Bulba's for placing and maintaining this cache. TFTC
Found reasonably quickly thanks to the hint.Luckily I was with a muggle friend taller than me who was able to retrieve the container.SL TFTC
Found with Macka4867. The GPS pointed to the location after a bit as it was a bit jumpy. We didn't find it at first and strayed further away thinking GPS was tricking us. No luck and eventually came back to original place and there was the familiar style of hide, how did we miss it. TFTC
Out with Gundrills on streak day #36 and I’m very grateful he is taller than me. TFTC
Quick find in obvious spot but took me a few minutes to realise . Needs a new cap for the actual container . TFTC Bulba's
Found on a trip to Picton and Penrith with a group of Canberra cachers. Signed as CDI23 (Canberra Day Invasion). Thanks for the hide
Found with the Canberra group and signed as CDI 23 for Canberra Day Invasion. On the list of caches to do on Sat and the group included Kittykatch, Joolay, isopeda, Contesta, Albida33, Smittengranny, GLISS!, nibbletricecakes, fitzy_1965 and MinnieK. Tftc
Fitzy_1965 & I headed to the Picton region today with a bunch of friends from Canberra for our Canberra Day long weekend invasion (the joys of living in NSW but working in ACT for me). All caches were signed as CDI23.
We had a fun day finding, trads, puzzles & multis and a few AL's for good measure. We ended up at dinner at a great Thai restaurant after the event in Picton itself.

With a long weekend in Canberra who can resist getting away! Joined a great bunch on friends to tackle a bit of the Picton area. The day included a big investment of time in an oldie (lots of fun) and then lots of caching in the region. A really delightful day trip with barb2e, Kittykatch, isopeda, albida33, fitzy_1965, Minniek, joolay, Smittengranny, contesta, EverestHigh and GLISS! Signed most of the caches as CDI - for Canberra Day Invasion. Thanks to all the cache owners for the fun!
Found on an overnight trip to Picton. I joined a large group of Canberra cachers for one day of the long weekend. Caches were signed as CDI2023 - Canberra Day Invasion 2023. My fellow invaders were - isopeda, barb2e, Nibbletricecakes, Kittykatch, albida33, fitzy_1965, Joolay, MinnieK, Contesta and Smittengranny. A Sydney local, EverestHigh joined us for many of the caches.
I was very happy to have EverestHigh with us today. He has a lot more altitude than I do.

Finally catching up on logs from the past few weeks, apologies for the delay.
A somewhat impromptu Friday caching expedition saw me pick up SueDan83 and his revered 'Grey Barron' and its sidekick the 'Mini Barron' and head out to clean up a few caches in our local area.
I once orienteered here but wasn't aware of the history of the home - thank you for sharing a little about this. At GZ, I had the right idea for the hide but wasn't able to reach - thankfully SD83 has height on his side and was able to retrieve for me. The cache seems to be missing a lid and the baggy was a little torn up so we replaced this. TFTC!

Back to The Dilly with frazeydaze to hunt down some unfound caches in the area. Here we had a quick find. TFTC
Quick find even though my GZ was off. Thanks for sharing the interesting history about the place. Wouldn't have been a fun environment I'm sure.
Today was the day for a bit of a “local” hide adventure, seeing as we had the opportunity with the impromptu public holiday, but making sure that the required protocols were carried out.
Really enjoying driving around this area, and loved this quirky little spot! My GPS had me looking in a very unlikely spot, probably because of the cloud cover and rain, but scanning around, I looked for likely sign of a possible hide. And there it was!
Nice views from here too!

My geo-excursion today has brought me to Picton and here, I was able to make a quick find. This place has an interesting history ... thanks for bringing me here Bulba's.
Sneaky hide. The ants have come marching home one by one. After turning the bag inside out, I was able to clear the majority of those tiny cache guardians. No internal lid on the container. TFTC
A quick find on a pleasant day's caching with Brewmaker. Was happy to leave the signing duties to him on this one due to the large amount of ants nesting in the cache.

Great find but one thing is that the log is a bit wet and there’s a real ant problem but otherwise good cache.
Sneaky find, great place, stumped us for a little! As I realised what was unusual, my brother grabbed it!
Was harder than the other logs made out to be in my opinion. Good hide, kept looking at other spots until I got frustrated and started feeling it all with caution of the spiders.
Found with a Littl3Vix! Her first cache he he we looked around and couldn't see anything in the obvious spots but got a hint from a previous find and then I made a quick find once I went back to the first place I looked. Tftc!
Found this with MizCupcake on my first ever geocaching adventure it made us thibk a little bit we got there in the end
Quick park and grab. Ants have decided to make a home into the cache, so I tried to clean the container and get all the ants and eggs out. Tftc!
I needed to get out of the house last week so I wouldn't go nuts and needed some peace and quiet... Out to the west!
Need to find out if I can stay here for a weekend.

Finally made a quick find today after a DNF last time. Introduced my Muggle coworker to geocaching! TFTC
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
While travelling home from our trip to Qld, we stopped here for a break and logged this cache. Thanks for hiding it Bulba's.
Decided to do some park and grabs on my way home after a day of caching. Thought I had it figured out but GPS had me searching a little way away. No luck, so went with my original instincts and soon had CIH.

We found it obviously in the open so we returned it to what seemed to be its hiding hole. PS nice spot and a lovely building
Found with nissan 65 on a day trip caching. Beautiful day off work. Thankyou for the cache
Out with the crew after an event in Picton... even though it was hot we couldn't resist a few caches while in the area. TFTC
The geo-gangsta went to one side but Mr Brizzle11 went to the right side. TFTC
My second night staying at Mowbray Park and did a quick run out in the evening to get this. Tftc! The Geocachings couldn’t really do this one.
Out and about with Happy Uke again today trying to grab some nogood caches hiding in and around Picton. And we were not disapointed!
Thanks
Thanks
Since the wind had finally died down and the glorious sun was shining, a caching raid of The Oaks area was organised. Great caches and fantastic company. Finalf29 and I ended up finding twenty in the afternoon.
This was our fourth for the arvo. Spectacular views, but the gate house is looking a little run down. Finalf29 straight onto this one. Thanks

Quick find of the neat hide. There are too many logs in the container. CO needs to go and remove some. Very cute gatehouse. TFTC Bulba's
#4190 (5 of 8 today)
My caching these last few days really hasn't been a lot of fun. My DNFs have outnumbered my finds, I've sliced myself on broken glass... Not fun.
So decided to head south today where hopefully I can make a few finds without too much angst. Left a lot later than I wanted - fun with Geokid #2 came first. So decided on a loop around Oakdale and The Oaks.
In the end I had eight finds in as many attempts, including two previous DNFs. All quick finds - much better day!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Another quick find here - not quite the first place I looked, but close.
Took a short distance away to complete signing duties as I could hear someone not far away yelling at the horses...
Then back for the replace.
Interesting building.
