Just a quick note regarding recent extreme weather in the area: While this was close to the recent bushfires in the Plenty Gorge area in Bundoora it has been completely unaffected in South Morang the area is safe to access and all surrounding roads are open to the public. Happy caching and stay safe!
Heading back to town after a big day of epic caching with great mates we managed to pick up a few more caches that didn't require TTC gear.
We remember seeing our first hide like this as newbies in SA, they still bring a smile to our face.

After some big tree climbs earlier in the day we opted for some gentler caching on the way home.

Super cute little cache as we slowly make our way back to Geelong, picking off a few outlier caches as we go. Tftc
Cache was missing. I have replaced it with an equivalent container but it is now magnet and no longer retractable.
Sounds like this has been muggled again - I'll see if I can find it like last time otherwise it's time to archive this hide.
Looked with my friend who found it years ago and it’s gone. Needs maintenance

My kids loved looking for this. Bit disappointed it was empty, however we left something for the next person
The log book has been replaced. I have also marked this cache wheelchair accessible and added a parking waypoint and a few more attributes. Happy caching!
Out on the regular Sunday caching day, with day1976, today was around the plenty gorge area. Lots of walking and a bit of backtracking.
Unfortunately due to activity at the nearby park we were unable to find this, as searching was difficult when a muggle is watching you.

Cool idea but is empty!will come back and sign it next weekend if it has a log!!

The container was missing and I had a tough time finding the magnet and cord which had creeped far from the posted coordinates. On my search I found the original hide (2 containers before this new one) out in the open. Happy caching! Remember to hide where you found it and make sure the container and what it’s attached to are out of view to avoid future mugglings.
Found it with the kidlets, it was our first one and had fun. Couldn’t write out name there though. Good luck everyone

In the area with GemmaSistema hitting up the nearby geo art we decided to target this one, thanks for the hide.
A day of geocaching with wozzle68 today saw us complete the nearby geoart then hunt out some other nearby caches. Lovely park here full of activity - quick find though and we were off! Many thanks for the cute cache!

Had a look all round with gps doing its usual jumping around but no luck. Will review clues and return in future.
Found it after a little searching around. Great idea but one side if the clasp has broken away from the lid due to rust. I taped it shut with pvc tape. TFTC
Found it! Out and about on a drive-by cache grab day with OzHockeyChick and Boatietim. We spent quite a few minutes searching over, under, inside and outside for this one in what turned out to be all the wrong places. Then we checked the most likely spot and there it was...TFTC...

Our geoboys seem to have an endless supply of energy, so daily trips out to playgrounds are a must and it's a huge bonus when said playgrounds have a cache placed within the surrounding area. Today's goal was to expel some of their energy, riding around a park at a nearby cache followed by lunch and a very long play at this playground. Beaut little cache & great job at the measures to avoid creep! TNLN, thanks for placing this cache here Amy GVSL & allowing this mumma to sit & enjoy the sunshine, uniterrupted for 5 minutes

Out and about today checking on my caches. Tried this spot earlier but the muggle presence was strong.
Searched for over 10mins to try & find this little guy but it would appear it has grown legs & creeped far enough away from where he's supposed to be.

On the way home from Whittlesea, it was dark and we still needed to find a cache for the day. This one was tricky, one for being dark and two for us over thinking it. We scrambled all around the cache without taking a moment to sit and think. Once we did this, the nice little container presented itself. Ah...caching, sometimes it is easy, other times you just can't locate it....Geokids had fun in the dark on one of those spinny things, until one felt sick!

After a few previous attempts and with a lot of help from my wife I have eventually logged this cache. Nice park. TFTC.

Took a bit of searching, looked everywhere and still couldn't find it. Decided to take one last look and there it was, in a place we had both felt but not actually looked!!
After several attempts to locate this while my son played at the playground, I finally found it - YAY! Then my little boy was so intrigued by the "treasure box", he played with it for the next 20 min
En route between work and a family birthday dinner, this was a handy one. Didn't take too long in the dark. What a neat little container, nice one! TFTC.
I found this one while clearing a few caches in my local area, an interesting spot that I would never have found if it weren't for geocaching.

about to give up when put my hand inside a small gap then then it moved....did a small victory dance just to annoy the kids even more. This cache was fun!!....at least for me

Out with my son today who needs to get his driving practise hours up. He drove me to the park then stayed in the car while I searched. The park was surprisingly quiet park so I took time to enjoy it. I love the cache.
