Awesome hide, very clever. We were on the track but just needed to be a bit more observant. Great fun with Mrs Mellison and Paulf76. TFTC
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. ???????????? (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. ??????[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. ???????? Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - ?? Sp-Oz ?? A clever cache hide! Rumpuslabs and I set about hunting for the little cache and I commented that ???? Would be a clever hiding spot for the cache. A few minutes later, hed found it, in exactly that kind of spot TFTC (found with rumpuslabs and Moxie __)
Seeing a difficulty 4.5 we decided wed have a go, even though we didnt really expect to find anything. And we didnt. A passing muggle told us there had been sightings of a brown snake and a tiger snake nearby and having searched already for about half an hour we decided to give up. Obviously a very cleverly placed Cache.
No luck with this one came down before the event then after the event with goldy who found it back in December he count find it either.
2nd go at this one. Spent the customary 30mins searching before resorting to a PAF who helped. Dang! I had tried that one before, just needed more of an effort. Looks like I was the tool who needed a tool!
Anyway log finally signed. Excellent hide!

An ad hoc caching day after an art workshop was cancelled. Disappointed as was going to create a birthday pressie for a friend Rocked up here!
Now this is I’ve seen similar but nothing quite like this It would be easy to miss. Lucky for me as I gave it a tweak

In aldinga for a family holiday… this cache was the closest to our accomodation and a unique DT combination so was our first cache we targeted. At GZ understood the task at hand and with a bit of luck we discovered the carefully concealed cache. TFTC
After the Somerton Park event I took the train down to Seaford where AussieSPARKIE and I spent some time getting caches down Aldinga way.
After a little bit of searching we made the find.
A good quality cache. Very cool.

I heard something about a badge level thingy for writing longer logs... so feel to ignore from this point onwards.

Such a gorgeous day today and a good thing too coz this one took ages!! Then i kicked myself and said a few expletives when I did find it. Awesome hide.
Three befuddled geo animals, went on a Wednesday wander.
The Rat and the Adder met the Starfish in Aldinga.
Our plan was to gather as many caches as we could.
This took the trio ages to find.
The adder and starfish checked on either side of the boardwalk.
The rat was checking for loose bolts.
We paffed but this paf was busy, and said they would rig back. ( no call)
Then a second paf, and whilst talking with the paf the cache was found.
What a sneaky hide.
A fave point awarded for the clever hide. Tftc

Another of the weekly Wednesday wander with the befuddled animals. The Rad and the Adder met the starfish at Aldinga which was the target area in the hope of finding all that the town had to offer. Many were quite easily found but others took much more time which resulted in our plan falling down. With so many in Aldinga we failed to clear them all and will need to return.
All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
And as always, each member visited and individually stamped each of the log books.
What a hide !!, This took us ages but were determined not to give up. The Starfish and the Adder making themselves comfortable each side to search and re search each and every nut, bolt, plank and anyhing else we could put our fingers on. Photo's taken and reviewed, still with no luck. A PAF (who was busy and would call us back) search and more search until finally something. One we had not yet tried. At last the well hidden prize was found. A favourite for the idea and good cammo.
Thank you for the cache SP-OZ Find Number 9834 on 6/07/2022

The usual Wednesday Wander for members of Befuddled Puzzle Solving Group had us heading back South to Aldinga Beach search of solved puzzles and anything else we came across. Today it was myself, Blackadders and S.A. Sewer Rats. [^] By the end of the day we had scratched the surface and will have to return again soon. I also added to my ever expanding DNF list - Doh Still found quite a few and had a few laughs.
What a great sneaky hide. Spent about half an hour here and was thinking that perhaps a tool might be required. But then we found the one that didn't need a tool and hid the cache. FP from me for the hide. [:X]
***Thanks SP-OZ for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

After quite a bit of searching and headscratching RoadieR had a brainwave and located the cache. Retrieval was quite another matter and geograndie came to the rescue.
Unfortunately the pencil I put in my pocket when we left home disappeared somewhere on our walk. Have taken a pic of the log as proof of find.
Replaced the cache correctly.
Thanks for an excellent hide SP-OZ. Deserves a favourite point.

After having a coffee near by we headed down to find this one, after awhile searching we decided to PAF which put us in the right location, damn nano that’s a tough one
Today we headed south to use our great state voucher in mclaren vale, so after decided to do a few caches.

Picking up furniture down south with Jolly0 and just had to do some geocaching before returning home.
This was a tricky one and we had an idea of what we were looking for. It took a little bit of searching and then going over the area again and eventually Jolly0 found the tricky little bugger. Kind of what we were looking for, but not quite the same. TFTC

Loved this hide and loved ️ this location.
After we found this it was so peaceful and relaxing just to sit and watch the world turn slowly.
Today I asked Peas&CarrotsForever to come for a drive with me down south to assist me with picking up a piece of furniture, oh and some geocaching of course. It turned out to be nearly an 8 hour round trip!! . We had a fun day

But too crowded this long weekend and couldn’t spend more time here! We’ll be back TFTH
Came through today to grab the new and not so new caches in Aldinga.
Looked in all the usual and then the unusual spots, came up with a nicely hidden cache, we tried finding this fella not long after we started caching and deemed it too tricky for us, with a bit more experience and knowing how evil some hides can be we came away satisfied.
So we gladly signed the fairly new log, nice and dry too! Thanks SP-OZ for a cool cache, wondering who Fyn is but his cache was a good one. TFTC TNLNSL

Had a reasonable look but unable to find anything. Dusted myself off and returned to the car.
Checked bolts, knots, and rocks looked under the decking, still DNF. It's nativation puts it under the walkway but I can not see it.
DNF OK I give up, will someone let me know where the it is! Email address is [email protected]
7 years of travelling Australia and yet we have never visited Normanville so we are here now to rectify that. With clouds overhead, abut warmer weather on the way today it was time to pop up north to Aldinga & Sellicks Beach.
Lovely area glad we got here today!
2 of us looked and we both had an idea of what we were looking for. Didnt take as long as we thought. Gotta be lucky sometime. Thanks for the clever sucker.

Came down today for a peek. Searched all over with SupaOrange and SupaTurtle. No luck.
After reaching out to a previous finder I was looking in the right place.
Thanks for the adventure.

Traveled down to the southern beaches for the afternoon with the main aim to find caches from Moana to Aldinga. The quest was successful, with a large blank area of that particular area now on my geocaching map. I enjoyed some nice beach walks, tracking along the clifftops and meandering through the scrub, with some nice easy finds, and some clever and challenging hides. The log book is full but I managed to find a spare space along the edge. Thanks for the cache SP-OZ!
nothing on TV last night so I tried again, but no.
I took a tool and undid some nuts but still nothing.
Can someone give me a hint?

Fi ngers raw. But gotcha!!! did need a TOTT today. . . Thanks for this one.. hope the construction stays up with all that testing! Pic fwd to CO as evidence of find as log is full.
That was the craziest find yet, no idea how I found that so fast usually that would take me all day haha loved it!
No muggles here today! Didn’t take Erine14 and I too long to make the find

Our 300th find. Took us 3-4 visits but we got it! Thank you for this cache it was very creative and well made. Log is full and soggy but loved the experience of this, Thanks so much for this cache!
After receiving a nudge on how to find this one, today [Wednesday the 26th of August 2020] i was back to try again.
Down i went to the GZ area, prepared
Post find of the most sinister and evil of hides, i realized on the day of my DNF i was soooo close [B)] but as per normal a no-find is a no-find-face ha ha
With very tricky and well hidden hides [even when they do my head in ]i usually offload a Favorite point and today that didn't change so have another [^]
SL up at the table that was devoid of Muggles the whole time i was there, at 10:27.
[The log scroll is completely full but a tiny spot was found and the log was signed]
Replaced the hide exactly as it was found

This very well hidden cache defeated me today even after twisting, turning, squatting low, using more than one tool, peering through gaps in the walk boards [no Muggles in cooee ironically lol]
and still no wee blither could be found.
I fired off a text PAF after so with a possible clue i will return soon.

Finally found this cache, which has been my nemesis for quite some time.albeit with a few extra clues on the way this definitely deserves a favourite point from me. Thanks SP-OZ for this cache
This one is just way too tricky for us and the geokids. Will try again another day
Did this later in the day with less muggles around. Mr Suelee redeemed himself making short work of this nano, definitely a favourite tftc
Today was forecast as a brilliant day, so jesswrigley and I headed to Seacliff for its weekly Saturday parkrun event. Following that, an EarthCache was visited, and we parted ways as I continued to geocache for the rest of the day. I continued to head south targeting higher D/T caches, special cache types, and oldies, and I did see some great locations. Geocaching was done around Kingston Park and Marino, Lonsdale, O'Sullivan Beach, Moana, Maslin Beach, Port Willunga, and finally ending the day at Aldinga. Despite being solo, I actually quite enjoyed keeping myself busy with the combination of driving and jogging caches.
I made my way down to GZ, and I did suspect the cache hide type, and it just turned out to be patience finding it. As it turned out, the cache hide was slightly different to what I thought, but I was on the right track in any case. Sigh, glad to have found this one, especially with its high difficulty rating (which is appropriate lol). The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks SP-OZ for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Argh nanos! Their frustration lies in the search, and even then when found, the difficulty in logging and rolling. Best characterised as that annoying friend that hangs with your bestie!

Muggled out here last week with people sitting at the table [8)].
All quiet today with a lazy breeze to keep us company as we searched .
A great hide that we were quite chuffed to find - Mrs DISK was most impressed [^].
Needed a tool today . TNLNSL.

After a previous DNF, we came back today with Pony1966 and scoured the structure and surrounds... but unfortunately with the same result
Tried everything but didn’t want to give in, so placed a message to a previous finder for a further hint. Although we had left GZ we had gone further away from home and after receiving responses, I convinced them we should return for a further look.
As it turns out JayG10 had almost touched it, but I told him that it wouldn’t be there. I was wrong and I’ve learned something new about possible hides.
Despite it needing two attempts we really enjoyed this cache. We spent some time on the beach. It was too cool to enter the water, but we had a good time anyway.
Found with JayG10 and fluffymaxi.

Let’s begin with, this place is awesome!!!! Who cares if we find the cache or not, this place is one of our top Aussie places to be! We love the beach, after being hypnotised by the place we begin our search. Well Mr 4ando did while Mrs 4ando read some past logs hoping for some intel after seeing a few DNF’s.
Aborting on the previous logs and deciding this was a case of just checking everything, we got to work on opposite sides. By pure a&$e Mrs 4ando checked something after thinking this can’t be it and bingo it was!
Thank goodness we found it as we were trying to work out how we could leave a FP for a DNF. We can now leave a FP for the cache and location, thanks for bringing us Queenslanders here, we who think we have the best beaches, this place is amazing!!! All good with this cache and still plenty of area of log for signatures.

Little tricky one. The kids found it before me. With the EDEN Hills Wafflers
This cache was a caching highlight of the weekend away. It fills a special spot on a grid, didn’t need a ladder (or a tool today) and my not so little monkey couldn’t wait to beat me to it. Admittedly, we came armed with a few more clues from previous finders (anything to keep the monkey keen to keep playing). Thankyou for bringing us to this stunning spot
Thanks Nellargo for finding back the original missed cache from 3 years ago
This one is now retiring
The Nano is still in place and no confusions any more. Happy caching to all.

Not quite as difficult as we were led to believe. Not black and not quite nano. Last log 2015. Are there two here?
Out for an afternoon down south with geoson Sebastbat.
Although wet and windy it was a purfect day free of muggles for searching,
so search we did... and soon came up trumps with a very neatly hidden nano.
A tool comes in handy, the hide has weathered well and fits in like it belongs
Even though it's an evil nano, it gets a fav for being so much more fun than another mint tin...
Thanks for bringing us here SP-OZ , and thanks for the smiley
