Out on a caching spree with Haz101 on our way from from the Country and Western Market in Healsville
Lovely area, went to one location and figured there couldnt be anything there. Tried somewhere else, a lot of different places to look. Luckily the other member of my party was more eagle eyed than I was
I made my non geocaching friends make a detour with me under the bridge to help me find this one. TFTC
Leaving work early this afternoon to go dirt bike riding and being a bit early gave me the perfect opportunity to grab some local caches that I normally drive byAfter reading the description, i was not sure what to expect, but yep, ya get what's on the label Quick easy find tftc
Was in the area to visit the local theatre. Stopped off here to grab. Great cache.
Out and about in the Lilydale area to collect some caches with lots of favourite points. I started with this one cos I hate black nanos and wanted this one over and done with! Strangely I quickly found the nasty black nano and soon had the log signed. I can see why it has so many favourites. I'll give the black nano a favourite as well. TFTC and the hide.

After a long walk from the station around the lake and up and around lilydale. One of the last caches of the day before jumping on the train. Lucky this one wasnt a mini nano on a bridge, and made a find relatively quickly!
Took a few minutes first to think this through before taking what could be a long time to locate if I tackled the search the wrong way.
I had to laugh when I found this “nano”! Thank you StaceV for placing and maintaining The Black Nano Cache for us to find today.
Hooray for find number 700!!
Given the challenge of the month to find 100 caches, I've been so focused on that I didn't even realise I was about to hit a milestone. Thankfully I'd decided to do Lilydale this evening so this cache gets to be the glorious number 700.
This was a humorous cache and I had a giggle at the dreaded black nano!
Thanks for a fun cache

I was closing in on my 4,000th find and had picked out an iconic cache especially for that... but needed to find 3 more caches on my way there... and I picked this cache as it had lots of Favourite Points as that usually means a really great cache. Well, I wasn't disappointed with this one... it could have been so hard but in the end, it was really quite easy with a very humourous touch to it.
Thanks **StaceV** for a very clever cache.

This is my kind of nano. I was expecting something different and for it to take much longer to find than it did.
Car service so I headed off for a walk around Lilydale, this was my first stop. I'm guessing this bridge has never carried a train given the railway closed in 1965 and the highway was widened much later.
Well at least I didn't need my "special geocaching tools" to extract this nano from it's hiding spot! Quite an interesting "nano" you could say. On a scale of 0 - 10, where 10 is the smallest nano possible, I would rate this a *minus* 10!

For something like that you'd think we'd find it quick. surprisingly very well hidden. thanks StaceV !!
Nice little hide. Was looking for a nano. I hate nano’sbut as I was in the area I thought I would give it a crack. Great find for me. TFTC
Absolutely breathtaking experience! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! Great hide
I tried this cache years ago when I first started and, back then, logged a DNF. I remember giving it a good search but, perhaps, was looking too hard.
Today, I stopped back with my 7yo nephew who is keen to come with me on geocaching adventures. Turns out he was quite good. We walked away with a quick find.
Cache well intact. We signed log, but made no swaps as I left my swag-bag at home Nephew quite liked the clever magnetic cache. TFTC!

My second visit here, but this time I found it!
Surprisingly it didn’t take too long - I just took note of the clues.
I’m about 5’4, so managed ok
Thank you

The grandies were keen to look for another cache and have now started reminding me that I need to do so so as we had to go to Coldstream, this seemed like the logical one for the day. After looking for some time, we decided that maybe we should have given this more thought, nano on a large metal bridge, mmmm, didn't think that one out.
We had looked for some time with both of us lifting up a grandie each so that they could reach into crevices and behind beams. Eventually we decided to give up and ask a PAF. Knowing what we were now looking for and a better idea of where to look, we made the find very quickly.
I remember some years ago, sitting in the middle of Maroonday Highway, watching the bridge drive down the road, (final construction was done just up past the Warburton Hwy turnoff). It seemed, and a couple of the truck drivers confirmed, that someone had not done their calculation correctly. When they finally worked out how to get the bridge as close as possible on the trucks, there was no room for the cranes to get in. They did some manoeuvring and solved that problem only to come across a bigger one. The work done on the two banks to allow the length of the bridge was not adequate. It took nearly an hour to get onto the tractor dealer next door who came and opened his business and used one of his appliances to save the day (night actually). There was an almighty hooray from the workers and crowd alike when it finally fell into place.

Spent quite some time here and conflicting logs and hints didn't make it any easier. I fear I have to give up now as I have looked in all the places that I thought could be possible. Will keep an eye on this one though and if anyone finds it again I'll be sure to come back and have another look!
Took me a bit, and the clue sort just three me off.
But once located, I must admit it is anything but Nano.

I originally found this cache with my Mum heymissjo, but now that I have my own account, I am logging. Thanks for the cache.
For the past few years I have cached as part of "team heymissjo", but now I am old enough to have my own account so logging the find. Thanks for the cache.

I'd tried to find this cache a couple of times previously. Perhaps I was distracted by the pooch who was taking me for a walk; perhaps my mind was on other things as I was always en route to somewhere else - all I know is that I never did find this dastardly nano.
Today the pooch took the whole family for a walk. Perhaps it was because we had more eyes this time; perhaps it's because every single member of my family has more geo-sense than I do - but within a literal second or two the wonderfully thematic cache was in hand.
But naturally, not my hand, lol!!
It's great to finally put this great hide to bed.
Thanks, StaceV.

I have had this green dot on my map for years, but never have enough time to stop and look for it… always busy driving passed.
But recent times have changed and I now find myself living back in Lilydale after twenty years. I have done full circle. On todays walk I reflect on the beauty of the area, the gorgeous trails that The Welder and I often walk with our geo-pup and one or some of our kids. Today the rain is holding off, the black cockatoos squawk and the rainbow shines. A nice quick find once at gz. Thanks for the cache.

Our last cache for the afternoon as time was marching on. In over 30 years of living in this area I have never been up close to this bridge. A fun find, thanks StaceV
Got this on our first night cache. Definitely not a nano lol, it’s bigger than a vitamin jar. Such a cool spot and a cool hide. I’ve never walked across this bridge so it was really cool to do that. I never realised the bridge lit up at night. Thank you for the cache
We found this nano on the ground between the plants. Luckily it was big enough to see it there.
We placed it back where we thought it should be

SPOILER AHEAD
Resorted to the hint to make sure we had the altitude right. Geomum is exactly the designated height, so...keep walking until she says "ouch", and...there it is!

Found whilst out bike caching around our local area on a glorious Friday morning.
This is some "nano".
A neat hiding spot found without dodging too many muggles.

Thanks for the cache Stace v. It was in a place where I could innocently appear to be resting so not so obvious 4 muggles. I have placed Kitty TB in the cache in the hope that she can spend some time exploring the rest of Australia. I think she's seen enough of the Yarra valley. please take good care of her. regards from Vic
This was our last find for the day.
An interesting location and we enjoyed the task of finding this one, we did not have to wait too long.
Spotted it, retrieved it and signed the log.
Cache is back in place.
Thanks to StaceV for this hide.

Nice indeed. Have driven past this one so many times over the years. Today with a cache to find it was time. A quick find and an intresting construction here. Now time to mask up yet again, fingers crossed!??

It's great way to finish the Warburton trail ride - steaming down from Mt Evelyn to this bridge where we'd parked, and even better to mark it with a cache. There was even a working texta nearby to allow me to sign. Thanks StaceV.
Cache 9 of 9 for the day ( well, there was one Did Not Attempt but that doesn't count.) We were getting a bit late for lunch so it was nice to have the clear guidance in the hint which made it a quick find (and it was also nice to hear of other people who are exactly my height!) TFTC!
This was our last stop for the day, and we were pretty hot and ready for lunch. Another quick find for Diana8. Tftc
Out for our walk and to pick up some caches along the way on this mild Melbourne winters day. Today we walked along a small section of the Warburton Rail Trail. This was the first cache for the day. After making our way to GZ and with the help of the hint it wasn't long before Mr Pooky made the find. TFTC and bringing us to this walking track. TNLN.
Nice hide. Was handy I was out with Skylizard who was just the right height to spot this one.
Out caching with bernspagette today chasing the final points for the cache carnival . This one was good to find .. we started looking in the wrong place and eventually zeroed into the GZ .. I caught a glimpse of the cache first as I am not that tall and I fortunately approached
at the right angle . . Thank you to StaceV for placing this cache .. great location.

Arrived at the bridge and thought this is going to take awhile
Then something caught my eye . A great hide . Thanks. Also the logs look to be on scraps of paper . A new log book would be nice .
