Third find for today, out from the Sutherland areas. We had been here before, but a very long time ago. Can now see why we missed it! Great to avenge a DNF! VERY creative cache a STUNNING LOCATION for one! Love the colours!TFTC, signed and replaced.FP from us for the location, creativity and cool texture/colour.
Ended up finding it by accident! So smart love it. FP given. Found a piggy too
There is a bit of garden work going on here at the moment so I have removed this one awaiting what happens with the trimming.
Was disappointing ending my caching day on a DNF after a few earlier in Port Kembla, just not the right area for me I guess. Will be one I want to come back to during the daytime, although the spot was still fairly well illuminated at night with it being next to a major road and a busy side street.
Can't believe I didn't find this last time. Found it quickly today though How cool. Thanks so much for the hide
Well done, Steeba!I had a good look around first for the typical micro, but I had no luck. Then, I took a step back and looked at the colours... something didn't quite match. This is absolutely in plain sight, but very well camoed.Favourite point from me. Thanks for the cache.
#714. Had a pretty good look then read through some previous logs and found a clue that helped me find it. Great hide! TFTC!
On our last days of our Sydney holiday we drove along the coast to Kiama. On the way we did some caches to mark some of the spots that we passed. This was one of those caches. After some searching we finally managed to find it.TFTC
Stopped past this entrance to Port Kembla on our way out of town after a great dog walk down at MM. Faunty spotted the cunning hide. Thanks steeba for your cunning
Awesome hide! Had us stumped for a bit before we stepped back and reassessed.
Shortly after, Mr Bounty had his hands on the cache.
Thank you for the cache and very creative hide

Found It!
I searched on the wrong part of the sign to start with but once I'd moved onto the right bit, I soon found it. A very well designed cache container!

I'm after at least 6 finds today to appease the Calendar Caching Gods, but why stop at 6? Decided to head down to the Illawarra for a day of finds, but unfortunately I racked up a large number of DNFs as well. That certainly wasn't the idea! As a result, it was a much longer day than it should have been.
And I suspect about half of the DNFs I just simply missed.
Ah well, that's caching for you.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Final one for the day, and a relatively quick find.
Very nicely made. but then I couldn't access the log - I suspect maybe stuck in some mud.
Took quite a while before I finally managed to add my ink to the log.
Then replaced as found.
Thanks to daylight saving it's already dark - thanks DNFs! And I still have a 90 minute drive home.
Despite the extraction issues, a favourite for the camo. Excellent work.

I got inspired by this object and even if it wasn't what I thought, it worked out!
This is a cool cache but it was placed the wRong way around and was filled with water. Nice camo though!

Well this one rustled my jimmy's just because my fat booty doesn't squeeze through trees that easily haha tftc anyway and good camo!
Stopped in to check on this one recently- all still in place and ready to be found.
Message sent to CO as we think we've found it but unsure. Waiting to hear back and to hopefully change our blue sad face to a smiley yellow face
Came with @SamanthaRogers for a day trip to port Kembla and Wollongong to see some ships and do some caching at the same time. This was our first one and nothing. We could only find a piece of wood with plastic glued to it. Message sent to CO.
After the DNF yesterday I took a look- cache was still there but I have taken away just to perform maintenance- and hope to have back online shortly.
The welcome committee was there and barking at the top of his lungs while a woman in the house was shouting at him to shut up. Had a quick look but moved on.
Not the sort of day any cacher wants. We were after 5 finds to bring our total on the grid for the 7th March to 10 and thought a trip to Wollongong would avoid Sydney traffic and allow us to complete our task in 3 hours. 6 Hours later we got home with 3 finds and 9 DNF's and to get the numbers, completed a few Adventure Lab stages. No idea if we or the caches were the problem but before returning, I will check the logs.

OMG, didn't give up after searching for more than 30 minutes.
Thanks for one of the previous log, finally found it! So happy for the result

Day two on our caching weekend away and Tankengine and I were looking forward to the day.
We had all seasons and it was rather warm - I even got sunburnt. We made some great finds, saw some sweet views and then caught up with Kittykatch and Joolay to cache before dinner.
This Cache: Took a little while to find but got there in the end. Tftc!!!

Coords bouncing over the place but eventually found by accident.
Thanks For getting me out and about steeba

Cool sneaky hide took us a little while to find. Found on a trip to Shellharbour with Joolay, Tankengine and dty73 to attend a CCE. Thanks for placing this cache steeba
Chooo ooo [found] with Joolay and Kittykatch and dty73! Need hide! Thanks steeba!
Yay. Second attempt. Credits go Geokid 2 on this rainy cold day. Thanks for the effort put in to this camo.
Found on a walk to pick up our car from the mechanic. Was on the ground and thought it was just some garbage at first. Nice disguise though. We put it back where it belongs. Tftc
Found today with Beckatoza, fantastic find - little bit of traffic so hard to not look too suspicious for muggles! TFTC!
Find #165 for the tribe, day 18 of our little streak.
Out caching with the geokids on another beautiful summer's day in the gong. After a brief search found the sneaky cache, signed log and returned to it's original position. The cache is now an ants nest but is still in excellent condition. No maintenance needed at all.
It's only when you look close up at the artwork that you realise how much steelwork is in it (appropriately so).
Off for a swim at the lovely Port Kembla beach after this! We love this area.
Thanks for the cache Steeba! A really nice hide!

In plane sight and a plane grab. Good camo. Thousands of ants in the outer container, but now they are gone. TFTC
Found with a bit of looking
Came across this one on a day trip with adventure-fox
One of the locals yelled out of their car in support

Saturday adventures with BarberBlackSheep brought us down to Shellharbour today. First weekend without crutches or a moon boot meant I could go on bigger adventures!
After spending the morning on a rainforest walk followed by fish and chips by the beach, we decided to grab some caches on the way home.
Found this fairly quick due to past logs.
As we walked back to the car some happy dude yelled out from his car “yeah found the cache” or something along those lines hahaha!

It was too nice to sit at home so we went for a walk and found a cache close to home.
Haven't been geocaching for a long time, but should get back into it. Clever container.

looked for about 20 minutes all over the place and couldn't see anything in 'plain sight'
Found this one this morning. We had read some of the previous logs and looked at the pictures so knew what we were looking for. It wasn't in the same place as the photos in previous logs. It took us awhile to get it from its hiding place - we could hear it in there but had to get it out. Lots of ants came out as well!!
Lingered around the area for half an hour and have struggled to locate it, we can only assume we have looked too hard and will return another day to continue the search
Such a sneaky hide! I surprised myself how quickly I spotted it because it's hidden really well. TFTC
Nice hide! Geopartner found it by accident as he put his hand on it. Good one!! TFTC
A quick look and then a walk along had us find something different from what we were thinking.
Found on another epic caching loop with H423L which included the St Arnaud mega and many other magnificent Australian locations.
Thanks steeba and clear skies from TeamAstro. ️ Cache the planet!

This one was found in far to plain of sight. Replaced probably in a more plain sight view. Clever hide. TFTC
Oz Geomuster 2019 Wollongong at Cataract Scout Park. Day four was another day of caching around Wollongong wit Fitzy and MinnieK. We started by finishing the Wollongong LAB caches up near the Bulli lookouts and then went to the Pt Kembla CITO. After that it was a fun day of getting caches that a few of us as possible had not done before.
After the mornings formal activities were over, it was time to get into some local caches. It was made more entertaining by meeting up with different groups of cachers at each place we stopped.
Thanks.

Day three of the OZGM19 Mega saw fitzy_1965, Alibida33, GSC2000, Nibletricecakes and myself heading back down into the Wollongong area for the day. Started the day off in Port Kembla with the CITO.
One CITO duties were done we just cached our way back to camp at Cataract Dam.
All caches were found quickly and easily. I had cache in hand very quickly....super cool hide.

Up from Canberra to attend the Mega at The Gong! Had a blast over the 4 days which focused on socialising, the events, grabbing all of the lab caches and a few others along the way!
Swung by this one on my travels and made the easy find of the cleverly constructed hide
Thanks for the hide, steeba

After the CITO was over this morning we went on to pick up just a few caches to represent the Wollongong area. This was one that was on out list and as we arrived some more cachers got there too. It was successfully found and everyone signed the log before heading off. This was a well placed cache and not likely to be disturbed by muggles. Thank you to steeba for this cache placement.
After attending the nearby CITO in the morning, we picked a couple of caches close by to do. Met other cachers there and had a lovely chat. Thanks to the CO for this cache placement.
