Time to archive this one. It has been here for over 3 years and been visited by 220 people. Gone again due to muggle activity so time to put it to bed.
Stopped to check as I was riding past this morning after a recent DNF. Found the camouflage but no cache. Dammit, it appears to have been muggled. Need to think about how I replace this one.
Another DNF.
On the way from Canberra to the Great Ocean Road we made a stop in the lovely town Beechworth. It was so nice, that we camped there and searched some more caches at the next day. We liked very much.
We found this cache during our 5 week trip thru Eastern Australia and Tasmania. We startet in Cairns, down to Sydney, a cruise to Tasmania and then with the camper to Adelaide. On the way we will search more nice locations, geocaching helps us a lot.
Many thanks also for this cache and greetings from GPSnini (from Switzerland)

Went sightseeing in historical Beechworth. and grabbed a few caches around the area.
Cache was located, after a short search. A favourite point, for bringing us to such a pretty place.
Many thanks for placing this cache, BettyBoo3747, for us and others to find.

Found after devouring a wonderful icecream on a sunny November day. Found with geotwin and geodogs. TFTC
We camped at Beechworth for the long week-end with some of the kids from school. We went for a walk into town to do some exploring and try some of those yummy beers. On the way back we walked past this bridge to see if we would be lucky enough to find this cache. After a bit of searching under the bridge I changed tact and soon found the correct hiding spot. Great little bridge and fortunately no trolls there this week-end. TFTC.
Don't you just love it when everything comes together? We came here with the sole intention of eating lunch & there's a cache just over there. It would be rude to just ignore it & drive off. So we found - though Mrs Tardis went a little too far & emerged festooned with that kapok cobwebby stuff; just right for Halloween!
Found on a warm afternoon, left geowife down by the lake with the ducks whilst I strolled over to GZ where the well hidden prize was located. TFTC BB

Taking the dogs for a long walk this morning so called by here for a cache check. Wasn't quite where I originally placed it so it is now back in its original hiding place.
Took a bit of looking in the dark but found it in the end. Found with JosephLarkinAlbury
A quick dash down from the main street during the Golden Horseshoes Festival at Easter, found and dropped off a TB
What a peaceful little spot with an engaging history. The rock work is most interesting and certainly tells a story. GZ does have that lovely sound bubbling in the back ground. We gave this one a fav. TNLN SL TFTC
Found as Nicnax with SciFiRulz. TFTC

A Maker Madness event in Beechworth at lunchtime today meant we had the whole morning to ride down the hill and pick up a heap of caches along the rail trail. Unfortunately the weather decided against it and a few mm of rain caused us to stay in town for the day.
A quick find with a lot of water rushing by and heavy drops falling off the overhead branches.
Thank you for the cache BettyBoo3747.
#2818th @ 1417hrs and 9th of 24 for the day.

Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch. Took a little walk in the park to find this one, will have to come back another day to spend a bit more time here. TFTC
Today we headed out to find many of the HSS Series.
This was a bonus cache that we found after arriving back into town. A pleasant walk along the lakeside led to this cache.
Thanks BettyBoo3747

Getting few more caching in on our last day of our caching trip. Lovely peas full spot. TFTC
Already the last day of this caching trip with J+J.AU and Baja15 to this beautiful area! Leaving the motel in Wangaratta for another bikeride, a good lunch in Beechworth with some caching on the route to Wodonga as well. Another great day!

I joined up with fellow cachers J+J.au and Wilbert67 and we made our caching trip down South. The puzzle preparation was done and the challenge of the finds awaited us. We were most impressed with the quality of the hides and had a lot of fun walking, riding and driving all the while taking in the wonderful scenery and history on offer. Thanks to the COs for making our trip so great. SL..TFTC
[:(!] I had nothing on but what better way of filling in the afternoon than to do a caching run and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GC34EJG (E2B - Beechworth Station - The End!) and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

Today's journey was a short one - from Albury to Bright. There were so many caches along the way, that I was able to pick some of them to attempt. Preferring country caches, I totally ignored the Albury/Wodonga caches. Nice quick find, once I finally found the best way in.
My thanks to BettyBoo3747 for the cache.

Oh dear - between the 4th and 16th of November this cache was tampered with. The lid is missing, Angus 88's badge was bent in two and left nearby and the log sheets were burnt and left inside the cache. The plastic bag that held the log was still there. All very strange.
Called by this morning and left a new container and log sheet in the same hiding place. Will see what happens with this one. May need to change the spot if it gets muggled again.

What a pleasantly quiet area even though fairly close to a much used playground. A quick find with micheena. TFTC BettyBoo
A great spot on a beautiful autumn afternoon. After a short walk we met the keeper of the bridge on the way back. TFTC.
After spending time walking around Beechworth surrounded by muggles it was very nice to find this spot and relax in peace and quiet, amongst the wattles with the babbling brook. Was going to sit and rest for a while until the jackhammering started at a work site on the other side of the river. Found the cache nice and quickly and then made a quick dash to the car to drown out the noise. Still a very nice spot, shall be back to find some of the other caches and chill out in this wonderful place. sl tnl dinosaur t4tc
How could I - GoldenWATTLE - come to Beechworth and not find THIS cache!
After crawling underneath between the piers and through webs, I made the find, and it was much less demanding. [:o)] Lots of webs to pull from my hair. TFTC.
PS. For your interest I found and am travelling with a TB 'Queen Betty Boop'.

A nice quick find around a really nice creek. Geosons find. The many times that I have been to Beechworth, I didn't klnow that this little creek was here. Thankyou for bringing us to this spot. TFTC
Nice quick find with The Womblers2 while they were visiting from Melbourne. Thanks for the hide BettyBoo.

After lunch and relaxation in Beechworth it was time to go grab som caches. Found with lenicka.second and membsec. This one did not take us long. TFTC
sounds like there were a number of other orienteering cachers in the area this week. Good to visit other areas!
I approached this one from the west. Nice cool area. But did I really have to brave the spider webs??
Thanks BettyBoo3747.

After having a fantastic time at BettyBoo's pre Christmas event we were heading for home hoping to grab a few caches to break up the journey. We didn't get very far when this one appeared on the radar so we thought that we would give it a try. The GPSr didn't want to settle at gz so we started searching the more logical locations. Diane spotted some people approaching, it turned out to be farmer's five who also joined in the search. A little while later the cache was discovered in a spot that we though that we had looked at before. As we were heading back out we met Yowie3747 and head off to do one more cache.
Thanks again Bettyboo3747 for showing us this great little park, it certainly has a lot of interesting features in it.

Arrived at GZ to find Team Crackers in deep search mode.
After a few peeks here and there saw Mr Crackers located the booty for all to sign.
A top spot and nice location we would not known about but for caching.
Many thanks BettyBoo3747.

Some of the bush caches in and around Beechworth have us a bit bushed. Another day.
Found this one today after watching the Melbourne Cup. Someone had pushed the cache into an unreachable spot and we needed to use a stick and sheer will power to get it out. Have replaced it in the same spot but not as far in. TNLNSL. TFTC!
We decided to pick up some caches around the lake this afternoon, however, as the day was getting on this ended up being one of the only ones. It was such a surprise as we walked in from were the car was parked to see the art-work here and the little bridge nestled out of the way. The find was made by Mrs 2755 after several minutes of looking.

Can nearly cut and paste a previous log on this find. Long day. Kids very patient. Kids played in the park while Dad darted across and made a quick find of the very well hidden cache. No swaps. Signed log only.
micheena - another great bridge with a beautiful brook. Hubby found cache after Yullaba and myself missed it on our searches.
