I was meeting my sister at noon down in Wollongong...so that means some caching on the way down! I had a great time and got eight.
This was my seventh for the day. I hadn't planned to grab this one, but it was on the way to my sisters. After pulling up near the GZ, I realised I definitely wasn't dressed for it. I was here now so had to have a go didn't I. I gingerly made my way towards the GZ and surprised myself with how quick I found it! I made it back to the car unscaved. No turtles today but lots of lizards. Thanks

Find Number 838, found at 13:41
I had another trip to Wollongong, so I decded to pick up some caches on the way.
I had some time to spare when I spotted this one and another nearby on the map. I made a quick detour and was able to park nearby. Nobody in the neighbouring businesses seemed to notice me and I was able to make a quick find. No turtles in evidence and only a few spiders to bar my way.
The cache was in good condition. We took a trackable, left nothing, signed the log and replaced the container as found.
Thanks F@nJOnCO for the cache.

Didn't see any turtles, just a few spiders. Should have worn something better than thongs. Good fun. TFTC!
Found with Muddy.Butt and thank goodness she was there. Spiders are NOT ST's favourite. TFTC. No sign of trackables.
Tftc. Someone has dumped their garden waste at GZ, which made getting to the cache interesting.
Monday Caching Night.
Need 247 in 60 days.
can't believe I out-looked this one last time

Found this cache at 4.30pm while heading from the Highlands to the coast for the PI Event at Figtree. And doing some caching with Sc00t and Olly. Just as well it was Saturday and the businesses were closed.
Sent Sc00t down to look for turtles. Came up with the hide but no turtles.
Thanks F@nJ)nCO for the hide.

Weekly cache night with Paegle!
Trying to smash out 10 tonight to reach my 600th find. I dont think we got there in the end
No find, must've been looking in the wrong turtle holes

This might be a busy area normally, but at 5pm on a Friday there was not a soul around - lucky because disappearing down the slope might have looked seriously suspect. Not as wet and muddy as I thought it might be but definitely one to wear good shoes for. No sign of wildlife turtle or otherwise just a lot of debris washed down from the recent rains. Kowabunga. TFTC
Done. Exactly where u would think. Pretty muddy & slippery after all the rain but. Be careful
I think I heard a "Cowabunga" from gz. Only those used to the conditions of NY Sewers could handle the slime here.
Found it after giving it a thought. A shame the TBs are missing.
Thanks for the cache.

TFTC,
Visited a group of trackables and took a TB to be moved along. CO needs to advise trackable owners that there trackables are missing.

Looking around, and further around and under. Where could it be? Ahh there it is, poking its head out. Love turtles, but none here today. Thanks for the smiley.
Found by the kids quickly while I turned around.
They said there were no track angles in the cache.

Our 8163rd overall find.
Found with FarmerFrentzen on our Christmas break caching trip. This one took a little bit to locate but FF eventually came up with a cache.

Found during a run down to Wollongong with Big Matt and Shell.
It had been a little while since we had cached Wollongong and with the publishing of the LIPT we decided it was time to make another trip down south. The weather was near perfect and a very enjoyable day was had making our way around Lake Illawarra and surrounding areas.
At first it wasn't obvious where this one would be but after sticking our turtle heads a little further into the shell we came up with the find.
Thanks F@nJOnCO for the cache.

Found at 4:49pm with Nush89. The Geowife was a tad reserved going in for this one, although she did come out a bit muddy on the other end showing her dedication to finding this one. I enjoyed the location of this cache, a couple of construction muggles nearby didn't phase us getting our hands on the cache. A nice hide, SL TFTC
Found at 4:49pm with Jase90. Was a bit dirty after slipping and sliding around finding this one. TFTC.
After a late night rummage it was finally found! Great but sneaky find! Also found geocoin ))

Well this took a bit to find. Back & forth looking here, there & everywhere, shoes coated in mud & then finally......of course. TFTC.
After walking up n down the water flow looking for a hole for a turtle to live in I decided to change my thought pattern after reading some old posts!!! After getting some very muddy boots I turned to the right n there it was!!! Left some treasure (Peter rabbit n a car) n headed off for another!! 3 for 3 today
Just a little bit of squelching in the mud. No turtle today, maybe the rat scared him away.
Not sure what sort of holes turtles live in we had a good look around and foung it quite quickly.
Beware of moss on concrete drain! One geokid went for a slide. TFTC. Coordinates were a little off.
Wasn't worried about the turtle was more on the look out for snakes
But with none around a quick search and soon had this one found
Took TB

Again, tried for this cache without a GPS. It was a little harder than expected so called Hoojar for a clue. After a very vague hint, I had to lament and call the owners. After a much better hint, I had the cache in hand.
Took TB, left TB.
Cheers.

Found with ease, disappointed that people don't log there TB finds correctly so they still show they are in caches. Unfortunately did not bring a pen and was unable to sign log book
( found with cache claimer )
People looking for TB's from this cache please note there are none.

GZ was nice and quite today, no turtles about. Quick and easy find. Was nice and cool out of the sun. Found with snorris.
Decided to nock a few caches off my list after work. This one was my first. Quick find, nearly slipped over in the process, ha haa that's part of the fun. No turtles or trackballs were found today. TFTC
'Looks like time for a bridge inspection, and yes there's the problem, one cache too many'. Thanks for the chance to nab this one.
Teamed up with momo14 for a late afternoon cache run. Did this one on our way home. TFTC!
Teamed up with SLKH after hours when things were all quite around. Thanks to little rain lately we could get in and out without muddy shoes!
Reperio at 1025.
Spent the morning caching around Wollongong and along the coast before heading to the International Geocaching event later in the day. When I pulled up next to GZ, I was surprised there wasn't anyone around the area. Figured there would be at least some tradies nearby. Got down and dirty with one but soon spotted the cache.

Found with Gribblet2 while the rest went to netball! Had to scare the trolls away first
Muggle workers nearby, but I managed to get my GPSr to say 0m while still in my car, so I couldn't leave without at least trying! Parked the car to obscure their view, waited until they were busy talking then snuck out for a quick find. But in the excitement I'd forgotten my pen! Took photo of container with phone if needed. TFTC!
Well this is a quiet spot to sit and fill in the log sheet. It must have been lunch time as there was a lot of machinery but no workers around.
Sadly no turtles today

First of my finds for the month of May. A nice hide in a quiet spot. I think it was too early for turtles when I arrived at GZ this morning (4:30am) but at least I had the place to myself. Found the little blighter in its hidey hole and signed the log and replaced. Thanks F@nJOnCO for your cache.
We found this one while in Wollongong visiting family for Easter. We decided to take them out for an afternoon of caching. Didn't see and turtles at all but soon had the cache in hand. There are no trackables in the cache despite some being listed. TNLNSL TFTC
tftc sl tn left tb nice hide was going around and around at first but soon found it
wtf is a turtle hole? anyway this one is good to go for on sundays when workers are off. found with geo-sister-in-law, cute toy.
No muggles in sight, and hopefully the turtle didn't hang around too long in this spot, the water didn't look too healthy! Cache quickly spotted in it's hidey hole. Thanks for the cache F@nJOnCO

I noticed I was the first DNF. Frustrating. Looked for the turtle only found some eggs. I'll be back and try again.
We were a little stumped by this one at first, checking and rechecking. Finally found it. No turtles found, but did see some bubbles.
