Doing the Woodlands 100 with my husband and son. Found this little one easily, my son was very happy, we got to say hi to some of the locals. Thanks for the cache.
Headed out on the bike to hunt this arc of the Woodlands series today - and it showed how unfit I am! Another quick findThanks to Team Woodlands for this one
TFTC.....the walk continues, sun is out ad it's turning into a beautiful autumn day...quick find as we continued on our merry way
Waiting for my mum to get in from the airport so found this cool series and thought we'd see how far we can get!9/100With keepingupwithkdog, TFTC!

Great spot . Had to jump fence as I was on the wrong side . All part of the adventure . TFTC
It's so blustery my hat keeps blowing off! But another quick find on my run. Tftc
After having just spent a lovely week with my family, it was time for them to return home. I dropped them off at the airport for their early morning flight then made my way back out to this area for my second visit to find the Woodlands series of caches. I found eight caches during my previous visit here but today, with much more spare time available, I was determined to find many more. Unfortunately I was unable to find all the remaining caches during this visit, so I will definitely be returning for at least a third time in the near future.I arrived at GZ after walking here from the carpark entrance. The walk here didn't take me too long considering I have already found most caches between here and the park entrance during my previous visit to this area. As I was searching for the cache, I had an uneasy feeling I was being watched. I turned around to see a field of kangaroos all staring. It felt a lot more terrifying than it should've. Fortunately, it was very easy to find this cache and so after quickly finding and signing it, I placed it back and continued on my way.TFTC
In the area doing an Airport drop off and then we thought we would do the relatively new Woodland Heritage Park Parkrun. Of course we had to do a few geocaches while here. Especially since I have only found 1 geocache in this Local Government Area.Did this small section after Parkrun. While walking here, the friendly horses come over for a pat. We soon learnt that they were all ex-race horses, and had all won multiple millions in price money, pretty cool. Thanks for the cache Team WoodlandsHunter
This morning I had to drop a group at the airport for an early flight, so took the opportunity to pack my MTB in the bus and go caching.
A different type of hide from the previous, but the camouflage stood out to a cacher, even by helmet light. All in good condition.

Look forward to a return visit to complete the series

A huge day out with a total of 69 caches found for the day (including #100 for me and #1000 for jaamc_3335). A big thank you to team TACKT for inviting me along for the adventure and Team Woodlands for placing and maintaining all the logs!
Out and about with Team T.A.C.K.T including Jaamc, Kpatt and tag along cazzajane07. We had a goal to tackle this series to help cover milestones for some of our members, 69 caches down, 20km of park explored and we had a blast, there was laughter, tears, the occasional swear as we took on the long hike and we all had a fantastic day out with the team :3
On a beautiful sunny winters day Team TACKT + C set off for on our mission, nice quick find, thanks for placing this series
This is where we started after leaving one car at our destination.
Out for a walk today with my muggle friend, our aim was to knock over some more of this series. One section seemed to be locked…the three gates we passed all had locks on them. Really enjoying the whole area…so many kangaroos.

A lovely day to wander around the woodlands with very pleasant company of moonbi. Far too many caches to find in a fay at a relaxed pace but found all but 2 of those that were attempted Thanks Team Woodlands for such a huge effort in placing so many caches for us to enjoy
Au Fait and I are out doing a couple of loops of these Woodlands caches. Lovely day, fabulous scenery and some good info.
Thanks for the cache Team_Woodlands.

I has been a while since I have been out to Woodlands, but I had a free morning, so I thought I should make a start with this series.
Unloaded the deadly treadly about 9am on a cool overcast day, just perfect for a ride.
The first half a dozen had pristine log books, and were all in excellent condition.
Then I came across one with a quarter full logbook! What is happening here? Just past the next cache I met up with the CO who was doing maintenance. Stopped for a chat.
All the other caches I did today were in good condition - a great job with the maintenance.
Thanks for keeping this series up long enough for me to get around to them
Completed a loop of about 35 caches this morning. I will be back.
Nothing soaring about the hide here. Easy to spot though.
Thanks, Robmc.

Incorporating a Sunday arvo trail run with Geocaching while in Melbourne in this beautiful park. Great Cache. Thank you.
Great day caching with Arrow15, finally getting back to the woodlands 100. Good hide (ps: Thanks for the note about entering the gate)
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to Team_Woodlands for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

A day trip down to do the Woodland series of caches.
Took our bicycles and FUF009 came with us.
Arrived at the gate, unloaded or bikes, had a cuppa and off we went getting our first cache at 8.55am.
We worked our way through the series stopping several times to watch the coming and going of the jets at Tullamarine.
After a long warm day with several challenges, we arrived back at the car park for a rest and well earned cuppa.
We put the clues together, punched in the co-ords and went and claimed the final cache of the series.

Found with Tyred n Cranky.
Well this has been a long time coming, to do the Woodlands caches. Many a plan has fallen through due to health and pandemic and work issues. But finally all was on our side for a cracker geocaching day to end 2022.
With bikes loaded up we were off, left St.Arnaud just before 6am and had the first cache signed at 8.55am. Then it was just one by one, following the GPSr.
From flowing trails to bush bashing (with and without tall grass) and even a bit of water, we had a lot. All the while the sounds of planes going overhead, birds around and the odd 100 roos thumping the ground when we disturbed them.
We managed to make good time and accomplish all we set out to do. Despite the heat and a couple of hills I had to walk up.
We believe luck was on our side with the back paddock being opened, after seeing so many had commented on it being shut.
All in All, personally, it was great to finally get this series done with a couple others thrown in that are in the park.
Oh and by the way, we got back home just after 9.30pm. A big days outing.

Were a bit curious of me, watching planes zoom overhead is always entertaining, horses in the paddock didn't want to say hello. Cache located and stamped.

Soggy log.
On our deadly treadleys, catnap777 and I were on a challenge mission hoping to find as many caches out here as we could that have had 500 visitors or more.
The Woodlands proved very bountiful. [^]
We made sure we were back at our starting point before the gates were locked, moved the car, and rode straight back in again for just a few more.
This game can be somewhat addictive.

Found cache and log signed with dalerious on what was my first visit to this wonderful place.
It was a lovely ride around here, and it was lovely to see so many visitors to the area.
The grounds were beautiful and seeing the Thoroughbreds on our journey brought back memories of when I was in the industry as a strapper and owner.
The weather was wet at times, but that didn't hamper our plans.
Can't wait to get back and do it all again.
Speedy recovery Team_Woodlands .

That’s how it’s done. Hide that a casual passerby wouldn’t think twice about but is immediately obvious with the hint. Nice one

SteMicMitSar and I have been wanting to do this series since it was published but couldn't make it happen for a variety of reasons. That changed today. All but two caches were found by us and the log stamped or signed. Lots of wildlife spotted amid the roar of jet engines from Melbourne Airport.
