combination key safe has gone missing and I am not buying another one so will make it a trad cache as its a cool jail cell

11-Mar-17
Well this cache is one I won't forget in a hurry. Had no trouble working out the numbers needed, great, this is going to be a real quick mystery cache. WRONG!!! Late in the afternoon with a rock concert on in the area meant we had the whole place to ourselves. Just to be safe Boris went looking at GZ while I kept lookout. Nothing! So I decided to join him. With both of us on our hands and knees taking a video to see if it would turn up something we couldn't see. All of a sudden I have a dog going nose to nose with me. I screamed, the dog backed off, Boris thought I'd been bitten by something and he yelled what's wrong. By the time we were both on our feet, the dog owner was there putting its lead on.
God knows what he thought we were up to. Probably thought we were fulfilling some weird 'behind a jail' thing off our bucket list.
At this stage we we gave up looking and scurried back to the car. Had a chat with the CO on the way home who is going to check it out ASAP. Arrived home to discover I had my phone but no cover for it. I had taken my phone from its outer case to use the video function and with all the fright/scream/embarrassment of the dog incident I must have left the cover on the ground. If it was just the cover I wouldn't have worried about it, it did have $50 in it, but once again I would have let it go too, but it also had my credit card in it. OH NO!!! was only one of the things that was said.
A very quick tea consisting of toast and we were back on the road again. Two and a half hours later we were back home. Of course my cover was still there with all its contents intact but I'd never have got any sleep if we'd waited until tomorrow.
So thanks Bounty Trackers for the most fun/amusing/interesting/embarrassing/worrying cache we have ever done. And for all of the above it definitely gets a favourite point from us.

Out with the Swaggies. Had a few issues. Sorry to CO for this late log.

17-Feb-17
Logged with permission from the CO. Out with Yorsys today collecting a few caches in our local area. We did the numbers, made a few errors which were corrected before proceding to GZ to sign the log. An exhaustive search ensued finding nothing, but after talks with the CO we were allowed to log the cache. We will give this a fav point for the history.

We were camped at the Memorial Reserve and walked through the underpasses for our first visit to Loch. Just got across the Loch Stock and Barrel when rain started. Found the source of the info needed, quickly found the cache and dived in the shelter. A very enjoyable cache at a beautiful park. TFTC Bounty Trackers.

Well this was a bit embarrassing, I started off so well but then come unstuck. After a sending quick msg I found out I did not have all the description information with me.
So now after gathering all of said description, I have returned and was able to sign the log.

Find #898. On our way home from Korumburra we stopped by at Loch to get this mystery. Such an historic town with so much to show. Looked through the antique store as we often do when we spot one - this store had some great pieces. Gathering the answers to the mystery was fun but when trying to utilise this info we found we had answered one of them wrong (how embarrassing). With the mystery solved and the correct answers in our hot little hands we managed to sign the log without any hassle and locked up a TB in the lockup at Loch. Thanks Bounty Trackers for a fun mystery with a little history thrown in - a favourite point from us.

couldn't find it? help?

29-Feb-16
Found late in the day. Certainly enjoyed this one but
I puzzled over what to do with the numbers I had calculated until I had a light bulb moment- then it was all to hand quickly. Thanks for a different sort of cache.

21-Feb-16
Suscoe was heading to the coast today.
A beaut day with good sunshine, a mild breeze and magnificent countryside to travel through.
We found a range of caches in size, type and placement.
This was our 29th find of the day.
We did the numbers and then took a little while to sort out where the cache was.
Once we got it we got the log after a short trial.
Thanks to the Bounty Trackers for this interesting puzzle.

The hunt for this cache brought back such beautiful memories for these two grey old Wombats!! we climbed up and down and over all the playground equipment trying to find all the clues..such fun...a truly clever hide, well done.. We got some awfully funny looks from the young'uns playing there as well though. It would have been hellish, being locked up in that terrible room....especially in a 40 degree heat... TFTC ..

21-Nov-15
We found this cache today at 10:30pm as number 6 of 6 along the Korumburra Road. We got this one on the way home again at night. "A" was the number that we were most sure of but initially got wrong due to not looking correctly Thanks from D & H B-A.

15-Nov-15
This one was a real team effort. Geochild did the numbers. Geomum " found it" and geodad opened it. Really enjoyed this one. Thanks. Silkyie

Out for a Sunday drive on a Thursday with frmen1. I'd previously dnf this one a couple of years back. This time it was an easier job. Thankful the smallest muggle really, really, really had to go. This gave frmen1 and I time to retrieve the cache and open it. Unfortunately, it was a quick pit stop so we had to resort to being stealthy. Fav pt given TFTC

Tried this one a couple of years ago and DNF. Passing by we decided to have another crack, collected info, found the box, then tried the combination. No luck but one question is misleading so tried all of its possibilities and one was right.

22-Aug-15
Wandered thru the park with muggle friends in tow, gathered all the bits of info but it was geomutt who was onto the cache first! Darn, hate the little combination ones - always seem to stuff something up but a bit of rejigging had it sorted, great hide thanks Big Grin

Find 2043
01/05/2015 11:21:00 PM

I headed into Gippsland with Stemicmitsar to tackle a particular night cache that we'd been wanting to do for several weeks and also pickup whatever else we could whilst there.
Tired and quite demoralised by two DNF's, we nonetheless stopped here to attempt this Mystery cache. We had a pretty good idea of what form the cache would take and that helped. The information for the combination was gathered and then the cache was found. It took some cajoling to get the container open as the bright, white light from our torches made it difficult to see the well worn numbers, be got there in the end. Log signed, we replaced the cache and continued on our way home.

Thank-you to Bounty Trackers for placing this geocache

1/05/2015 11:20 pm, Find # 4353.

While out and about searching for caches with Biggles1024 and this one was found.
Tonight we headed towards Korumburra to pick up a few multi's and whatever else was in our path.
Now we were on our way home, we decided to stop at this one to give us another type for the night.
After a bit of a tour around the park, the information we needed was gathered, now to find the cache.
We had a good idea what we where looking for, it just wasn't where we expected it to be, so with the find and the numbers selected, we were soon signing the log.

Thanks to Bounty Trackers for placing this cache.

In Loch to drop off some goodies to a friend, its a beautiful morning for a play in the park. The Geo-toddlers loved romping about in the grass... The slides were a favourite for them Smile:)
While they were enjoying the sunshine I made my way to GZ and gathered the required info to complete this cache... Once I had the info it was time to look for the cache... The GPS was bouncing all over the place, I ended up going with my geo-insticts and located it without to much trouble, entered the code and had access Smile:)
Log signed and it was time for a promised swing Smile:)

Thanks BountyTrackers Smile:)

16-Oct-14
We arrived in pouring rain to find 4 trucks outside the park with work crews sitting in the shelter having morning tea. We did a lap of town (which didn't take long) and went back to find them leaving. The poor kids sat in the car longing for a play but it was just too wet. We huddled in the now empty shelter with the odd dash out to check details and worked out some numbers. Oh, we better find the cache! That done we retuned to the shelter to open and sign the log. A favourite point from us. TFTC
p.s. we would have loved to have a wander around here.....on a drier day!

Original log is full and the small supplementary scrap is also heading the same way.

13/10/2014 2.30pm - Cache No. 301 - 1st for the day - with dgfb33 & geogran1937. Had a legit reason for the park today... doing grandma things again today. Big Grin. During caching time she sat at one of the big tables & ordered "chips". Very cute.
I know why I object to modern playgrounds --- SLIDES & STATIC ELECTRICITY!!!! Can't they make things that don't zap the adults? [xx(] Luckily she is big enough now to not need assistance on the smaller slide. Phew - only got one zap this time.

13/10/2014 2.30pm - 1st for the day - with dgfb33 & ceebee2013 (& non-geo-great granddaughter)

With Geogran1937 and ceebee2013. (And mini great-granddaughter who made great use of one of the slides) The official log is full and the small supplementary log is not far from full. TFTC.

Great hunt but tricky to open, checked our answers several times before we realised we were right the first time. Persevere! TFTC

This was a fantastic hunt! Made us think every which way but the right way for awhile and then bam! think in the geocache way and it all came together. Loved it. No treasures so we placed two little plastic dinosaurs inside and made sure the cache would reopen for the next geokid / adult to find.
Thank you! Absolutely brilliant Smile

Good fun. Thanks for the brain test.

Finally managed to get this one although it was not as easy as initially first thought. GZ was all over the place (damn IOS7 on my iPhone - not as good as before!!) but after some help from the CO managed to get this one completed. A challenge as always. Thanks Bounty Trackers for yet another great cache!!

06-Dec-13
Did puzzle, checked for muggles but no luck. After 10mins, went back and checked numbers. Same result. Will bring another set of eyes with me next time. Thanks for the history lesson.

Checked cache add more log paper all good

03-Jul-13
Clues were soon solved but patience was required to outlast the other park diners. Once appetites were satisfied we found we had the park to ourselves and the cache was soon found. Opening it was more of a challenge but again patience and confidence in our puzzle solving paid off. TFTC A Fav point to you for this one.

Find # 2905

Well, its the weekend again and my caching partner in crime SedgwickDave and I decided our regular caching day would be on a Sunday and we were to head out towards Korumburra for lunch, picking up some select caches on the way. Despite winter being with us, it was not too cold and we even saw the sun in patches during the day.

Grabbed the required numbers, but then had some muggles to contend with. We wandered off to get a nearby trad cache, then came back. Once we were back, I kept an eye out while Dave searched and not long after found the cache. It took some effort but the log was soon extracted. A nice little puzzle.

Thanks to Bounty Trackers for the cache. TNLN

Found @1145 #2879
Caching about today along the country roads on the way to Korumburra trying out my new toy the Nexus7 with Ahomburg. Do enjoy these bigger drives as it fun to see where the cachers lead you. The weather turn out to be rather nice and a good mix of different caches type found. The 3 type rule achieved once moreWink. A good result today with 20 finds and 2 DNFs, I still see plenty more to grab which will be for another trip soon.

We collected the clues and work out the details required but due to some noisy kids we left it to complete a traditional cache near by before returning now to complete it. GZ was clear and the muggles at move off to another structure further away which made searching safer. Yay!! nice little puzzle this one was great to finally have log in hand. TFTC Bounty Trackers a favorite.[^]

We had been here previously & got the calculations wrong, but success today. Dropped a TB. Thanks Bounty Trackers.

11-May-13
We were heading home after a fantastic holiday in South Gippsland today.
There was still time to grab a few caches as we worked our way home.
Thanks to the owners for them.
We were looking foward to this one but alas it took us about 20 mins to find the container as the last finder had pushed it so far back n its hole we only spotted it after resorting to a torch and using a took to get it out.
The cache opened first time so that was a relief.

11-May-13
Found with Mum & Dad on a holiday to South Gippsland.
The weather was fantastic and the caching was fun.
Thanks to everyone who hid caches for me to find, I had so much fun!

28-Apr-13
Found very easily - REALLY struggled getting the numbers right - lots of arguments about the first two - the lower options of both two was right! Very fiddly getting it open but was worth it! A highlight of our trip and a favourite

28-Apr-13
Found on a day out with Zombiedogs. To be honest, this was the one cache that we were hoping to get today, and everything else was a bonus!

As we turned the corner into the park, we could see that it was all set up for a farmer's market. This turned out to be a blessing, since by the time we finished this cache, we were all starving!!! Quickly got the numbers, though there was a little bit of contention about a couple of them (you'd think a Doctor could spell, but turns out he can't!), but soon we had a pretty firm idea of what it should be. In another couple of minutes, we had the cache in hand.

Unfortunately, the toughest part of the whole exercise was trying to get it open! There must be knack to it, but we couldn't master it. Anyway, eventually got the numbers correct, and got the cache to open. Signed log, and replaced carefully. Thanks for the cache!

14-Apr-13
In the area with Dunko on a on a planned caching run.

After working my way to Loch decided a quick lunch and a couple of caches were in order. Worked out the required code, but took longer to find the cache than necessary, girls look to start with!!

Retrieved cache opened it up straight away then signed log.

Thanks for the cache Bounty Trackers!

Actually did find the cache but couldn't make an entry. Have spoken to the CO & he will check our calculations.

17-Feb-13
Noticed the under-pass and checked the GPS when parked at the train station and thought I'd just walk over to this cache. Looked at the interesting worm-info on the way, and soon arrived to start collecting clues for this cache. Had to read the instructions a few times, but eventually managed to get all the required info. Was expecting the usual - put these numbers here, multiply by this etc, but then saw I was at the end of the cache-description, so back to GZ this time to look for the cache. Since it was getting dark (and of course I left the torch back in the car) I had to use the phone-flash-torch, but was able to find the cache without problem. Sat down at one of the tables and after a few attempts (and a bit of wiggling) got the cache opened and signed.

Thanks for a very interesting and creative cache.

29-Dec-12
We wandered over from the nearby railway, admiring the Earthworm exhibition in the underpass.
After gathering the clues, we located the hide and managed to have the correct set of numbers to access the log. What an excellent idea for a cache.
Thanks to the Bounty Trackers.

08-Nov-12
I gathered the answers, found the cache, but it wouldn't open. I modified a couple of numbers that could have had slight variations. Still no joy. I eventually changed one number that I thought was definite, and then the cache opened. I emailed the owner and discovered that I wasn't looking hard enough. Thanks for showing me this place, and for the cache.

On our way back from a lovely weekend at Wilsons Prom we stopped here for lunch break. We had been here before but so grateful for our friends to recommend it. The kids playground is excellent and facilties the same. Quickly worked out the answer and Mr X worked out where to look for the magic box.
Excellent little cache and nice location to bring us to. We checked out all the great quaint shops.
Thanks Bounty Trackers, we will be back to enjoy this town again.

4000th find !!
Two new caches had been published in the Tooradin area over night, and i'd just been there the day before. I saw that one was stil unfound so after doing some housework and gardening in the morning, I got my gear together, loaded the car up and my two boys and myself were heading out for a cache run along to Korrumburra for the afternoon.
A great little park and me and the kids had some fun on the equipment before I headed off to get the answers to the questions. Once I had the numbers and did some calculations, we set off to find the cache. It was soon located and then we tried our numbers to release the log. CLICK and it was open.
As it turns out this cache is also my 4000th find Smile and I think a very nice one to get it on too. I thought I had it a week ago but it pays to keep Geosphere updated before heading out each time.
A nice park and some very interesting history at the lock-up, which the boys thought was a toilet.
Thanks for the hide and bringing us here Bounty Trackers.
A favourite for me.

12-Feb-12
Perfect place for morning tea and some shelter. Apart from some disagreements over colors, all the clues were gathered. We were confident that we knew what we were looking for. I conveniently disowned geo hubby as he emerged from the bushes just as another couple arrived for their picnic. Geo partners can be so embarrassing sometimes Wink SL Thanks Bounty Trackers for another challenging cache in a lovely spot.

26-Jan-12
I was very impressed with the restoration job. This town still has quite a bit to offer, even though now it is off the main drag. This was a cool cache, and gets a fave. Thanks.

08-Jan-12
What a great cache. Sent the junior burgers running hither-thither gathering the clues first. But they weren't so smart when it came to finding the cache- that took a bit longer. Eventually we rose to the challenge and nailed it. Best part was we had the combi right first time.

After finding a cache in Centennial park and having an ice cream in the nearby cafe we headed down here to try our luck on this one. Question 1 and we came up with two possible answers, Question 2 and again we had two possible answers but as only one was feasible this was sorted quickly. Question three took a little while to locate the required information and we're not sure how we missed it on the first lap of the park. Question 4 was nice and easy but we did do a little bit of work to make sure there was nothing tricky. Now with the information in hand we tried our luck and not long after we were signing the log and passing some trackables through.
Thanks The Bounty trackers for showing us this interesting little park, especially the old lock up of which it's predecessor had an interesting and well traveled life.

Was off to find this yesterday lunch-time, but had doubts that $15- petrol would get me to Loch and back home again, so headed off this morning knowing it had been found the previous evening doh,lol Very Happy, and armed with a bit extra fuel in the tank of and of course a flask of tea made a few stops on the way to and from this lovey spot. This cache turned out to be the fav. of the day. the area is awe-some reminded me of home (where i grew up) except with better roads and less tree's, loved it. Thanks for the cache, good one.. Very Happy

note - my aunt owned a property in Benambra which was the old police station site and it had one of these on in the main yard we use to love playing in it as kids, wasnt as in as good nic as this one but almost the same, very cool !

Took Nothing Left yellow pencil, erasers and a magic marble.
