Heading out of town today to do a loop to the north and west and collect as many caches as possible, this one was on our target list, TFTC
Travelling with iluvtrekking on a SA caching foray. Staying a couple of days in Clare to grab some finds. Chilly but a good morning to be caching. Thanks Thekellygang
Found at 1:47 PM in the company of The Morris.Coming down the hill from Clare you certainly see that there is a massive flat plain way out there! Thanks to TheKellyGang
We are travelling with Pprass and have set up in Blyth where we will camp for a few days. After setting up camp we headed around town to find the local offering. Thanks for the caches TheKellyGang
Found it! After spending the morning walking around Clare doing 2 AdLabs and finding caches along the way, decided after lunch to do some drive-bys in the surrounding area. Quick find here, although watch out for the ants. TFTC!

I found these 3.5 years ago approx. i guess i never logged it then. quick find again.
The JAMS team ( JJ52,Allister w, Mogni, and sir_spectre minus mitchell&hound ) but Tallbikestan was with us instead and we where out for there usually monthly caching adventure. This time it was over the october long weekend instead of the usual day trip. The taget this time was Drop into the Light a long ladder cache on the way to clare and then to clear the Rattler trail, Riesling Trail, Ne Trail saturday on the bikes and then sunday do the Mid North Channel Country bike trail. Monday on the return home was to get Peter's view a 2001 cache. Of course there was many, many other's found on route to the various target for the weekend, somewhere around 260 found by the team. It could have been more but we were not going at a flat out pace, just steady and getting a blow out on the bike 1.6 km's from the end of the Mid North Channel Country bike trail didn't help. I didn't see any snakes this trip but allister did, he saw 5. The caches this trip where written in as JAMS, i forgot the stamps. Also 1 cache was placed by the JAMS team this trip. Out of all the bike tracks i preferred the Rattler /Riesling trail. I like riding through the very rich ( after all the recent rains ) fields of yellow flowers.

A big long weekend with the JAMS Crew (JJ52, allister w(me), mogni, Sir Spectre and tallbikestan). We road from Riverton to Stanley Flat on day 1. Then more riding near Spalding on day 2. Then finished the weekend with finding caches around the area in the car. TFTC
Another cache found on our 2022 South Australian Adventure and another very chilly, blustery day. We are rugged up well and off hunting down a few caches along the way. This was a nice quick find, perfect for such a day.
We are enjoying our time travelling SA, fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs. Our thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.

Heading home from a holiday on the Yorke Peninsula, Eagle needed to spend time at the Balaklava airfield. Owl reached out to JJ52 and they met up for a day of caching and fun. Not as many caches as originally hoped, due to some slightly soggy roads to be avoided, but a good day out. This was a quick driveby cache, as promised.
Met up with Doctor Owl in Balaklava and we headed off for a fun day of caching around Blyth and Clare. We started off here and tried a few back roads that were very soggy. In the end we gave up on that idea and stuck to the better dirt roads and the bitumen. [^]
A quick stop here on our way past.
Thanks for the cache TheKellyGang.

I mean cringe when I see the words "quick drive by" because I will change the DT rating during my look. And this was no less different!
Yes it was an easy find and the cache a welcome change in size for this impromptu night caching tripni found myself on after leaving the Community Celebration event!! I did try to make it more difficult but could only squeeze another 1/2 star cos it was blacker than the ace of spades out there and I only had my phone torch and the headlights!!!! TYFTC SLTNLN

It was school holidays and I needed a break from school and chores and needed to just have some fun. I talked sir_spectre into joining me for a weekend away caching near Clare and Burra. We avoided the big towns and focused on the caches we normally drive past on the way to somewhere else. Any caches that needed some attention got it.
Thanks to TheKellyGang from mogni

It was time again for a Wednesday Wander and I joined S.A. Sewer Rats and Blackadders for yet another meander north towards Clare. Once again it a circuitous route that took in Parham, Lochiel and Blyth was taken to try and rectify a few previous DNF's. I managed to find two from my list but added and two as well. Such is life! [B)]
Despite the whether we approached along the 'Dry Weather Road' Ashford Road without incident. [^] A quick find amongst the very wet sour sobs.

Caching in the Clare region today and this one was next. Parkednearby and had the cache inland quickly. Thanks to TheKellyGang for this one.
It was time to ignore the heat of the day and go out to do some caching with ilook4geo. This one was a very quick and easy find and two more names were soon added to the log. All was put back into place before we moved on. Our thanks go to TheKellyGang for this cache placement.
It was hot and windy today, but caching with goingplaces2 was still on the program. Did a lot of caches and had a really good day. Thank you to all the COs who placed the caches we found.

Two Norwegian travellers on vacation/geocaching in Australia. Travelling by car from Brisbane to Adelaide with stops in interesting and not so interesting places. Started with the Sunshine Coast to warm us up and since then when travelling to the south and west the weather have not been so good as we hoped. Lots of wind and rain with only a few sunny days in between. We have now travelled through the east and south of OZ for nearly 5 weeks. The weather have been better last few days in Clare.
Today is the final stage of our roadtrip. Left Clare and will return the car in Adelaide this afternoon.
And we will log some caches down the road. So far, 378 caches are logged in OZ.

Found on a New Year's trip up North with The White Dog Gang, Team Waldron, Uni & Medusa and shonkylogic. We had a fantastic time finding a lot of great caches along the way. While the weather was hot the company was great and we had fun times. All in all 150 finds and six DNFs for me over the two days.

Out for the weekend to attend the Jamestown Airshow, this is one of the little gem locations we visited along the way.
We have dealt a few favourites out along the way. Hopefully this is one of those Gems. As you can see this is a generic log and I'm sorry for that but the WiFi service here is not great so I need to be quick.
Thanks for the journey to this cache in our wonderful State.

Thanks for the journey to this cache in our wonderful State.
Dad and myself we off to the Jamestown air show tomorrow so we decided to head up a day earlier and explore the surrounding areas and show him a few spots I had already visited. 400km plus which is a long why when the average speed is only 49km/h and very tired eyes we had a wonderful adventure seeing some great sights, kangaroos that decided to follow next to us for ages, Why follow us when you can bounce in the opposite direction.. But lucky we didn't see one snake
Sorry for generic log, it was hard to remember all the caches, I will write custom messages on the ones that require them

Heading home from a day of BBB caches, come across this one on my travels. A standard hide, which is a nice change from the thorny ones earlier in the day.
I could win an award for most caches found but not logged online. Please forgive this very generic log. If I admired your cache you'll get a favourite point from me and I'll likely come back and edit this log once I've caught up. If this generic log makes you unhappy - delete it. Life's too short to worry over it, I had fun finding your cache either way. Cheers!
I found this cache as part of a weekend in Clare.
The main events of the weekend were two cycling sessions, one for the Riesling trail and one for the Rattler trai, as part of a large group of cachers who descended on Clare for the Big Clare Bike Bash (BCBB).
I then went on to cache some of the local caches that I hadn't previously found with SEMIK.
Thanks for your cache.

Sorry for logging late...
This cache was visited by me either during the one month (February 2015) of hiking/tramping in NZ together with Bärgegumperli or in March/April 2015 while on a bicycle trip across NZ and AUS.
We/I enjoyed geocaching a lot.
Hiking
Hikes:
- Abel Tasman NP: Motueka, Kaiteriteri, Marahau, Inland Track, Separation Point, Coastal Track, Marahau.
- Nelson Lakes NP: St. Arnaud, Hopeless Hut, Travers Saddle, Blue Lake, Waiau Pass, Thompson Pass, D'Urville Valley, Lake Angelus, St. Arnaud.
- Arthur's Pass NP: Mt Brown Hut, Styx Valley, Browning Pass, Whitehorn Pass, Waimakariri Valley, Jordan Saddle, Hut Spur, Arthur's Pass, Mt Aicken
- Bridle Path
The weather conditions were great for tramping almost every single day. We enjoyed the beautiful landscape, the peace in some very remote areas and the many friendly people we met on our way or in the different huts.
Cycling from Dunedin to Auckland
It is not my first tour with this bicycle (map with long loading time).
Places along the route: Dunedin, Otago Central Rail Trail, East Manuherikia track, Tekapo, Fairlie, Geraldine, Oxford, Waipara, Hanmer Springs, Jacks Pass, Island Saddle, Picton, Wellington, Homedale, Hutt River Trail, Masterton, Pongaroa, road near Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateapokaiwhenuakitanatahu, Waipukurau, Fernhill, Taupo, Whakamaru, Tirau, Hauraki Rail Trail, Kawakawa Bay, Aukland.
After one month of perfect weather (see above) I finally got what I had to expect: Some rain... And sometimes stron headwinds. That the route was not flat at all meant usually that the landscape is great .
*
Cycling from Melbourne to Darwin
Places along the route: Melbourne, Great Ocean Road, Penshurst, Edenhope, Jervois Ferry, Sedan, Tanunda, Crystal Brook, Port Augusta, Coober Pedy, Uluru/Ayers Rock, The Olgas/Kata Tjuta, Mereenie Loop, Alice Springs, Karlu Karlu/Devil's Marbles, Litchfield NP, Mandorah, Darwin.
Along the coast the weather was often wet and cold. The small roads in Victoria and South Australia were very pleasant to ride despite a lot of headwind. This changed as soon as I reached the Stuart Hwy to sometimes strong tailwinds. That's why I had some "spare" time to ride a loop in the Red Centre. Further north
As in NZ i met some awesome people.

Guess what I did while waiting for a connecting plane in Perth?
Greetings from Switzerland / Gruess us dr Schwiiz
*There are a lot(!) of caches which I did not search while on the bicycle trip. The reasons are mainly:
1. Stopping slows if one wants to get somewhere, especially on bridges where no one wants to slow down a fully loaded touring bike. Yes, there were quite a few days with >200 km on the pushbike...
2. Riding or resting next to a loaded (recumbent) bike attracts in some areas so much attention that stealth mode is not possible.
3. On rare occasions I rode during the night. If I had to do that there was no time to search for caches anyway [:-(]
4. Some places I did really not consider worth stopping for a cache... Sorry.

Stayed unexpectedly overnight in Blyth last night so had to create a new geocaching route to travel. This looked like a nice diversion f the main roads. Cache was easily found, TFTC TheKellyGang.
Arrived back at the camp ground, to find that 'Liz and Bruce' had joined us.
We teamed up for a country drive, some caching and a pub lunch.
Cache was found quickly, and in good condition.
Many thanks for the hunt today, TheKellyGang.
