Due to the difficulty of location, the very wet summer we’ve had and the fact we are archiving our other cache along this road we are archiving this one too. Sorry for any inconvenience!
Cheers and happy caching!

Beautiful spot.
Container is rusted shut and couldn't open it. Some WD40 might do the trick but I didn't have any with me.

We were about to walk up the gravel road to the towers when a small dog who’d escaped from its owner came running towards us. We tried to help catch it but the owner was scowling so much and not friendly at all we decided to abandon the search for this one. Thanks for bringing us to this lovely location though.
Brilliant view!!! Was unable to open the cache though as the lid is rusted as!!! Thanks x
Not much of a view for me today. Still a little bit dark in the wee hours as I set off on a road trip to hopefully reach a milestone find before it gets dark again tonight.
A nice quick find here thanks.
A nice quick find here thanks.
Out for a drive on such a lovely winters day with awesome scenery all around the district whilst enjoying picking up a few caches along the way.
Wasn't going to go up the side road at first but after reading the description I snuck up and luckily had a quick find at GZ, more awesome views here.

I found this one in the early hours this morning before heading westward, I didn't have any trouble with this at all, Just had to apply my geosenses. It did not hurt that I've found one or two by this cache owner in the past. This is about as close to Byron Bay as I feel comfortable with, but so worth it for the views up here facing north and east. I very much appreciate the hide and the fun finding the cache here Aussie Liahona, I thank you kindly for your service to the game, taking me to so many great spots like this that I would never get to otherwise. Cheers!

Attempted to find this geocache while on holidays staying nearby. Went for decent look but came up empty handed. Just getting back into geocaching after not doing much for a long while. So I think I need to polish up my skills a bit.
Day 75 Mainland trip
Out and about caching with Tassie Trekkers around Byron Bay and we stopped to locate this cache. Cache in need of some TLC. Signed on new paper and left in new little baggie. Not sure how long it will stay dry. TFTC

Caching in the area with whitewebbs and this was one we found.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Out on a geocaching adventure today thanks to SMS.
Tricky entry point here. As we approached I was sure of where to go, then not do sure. I thought, "Have you read the description to see if it really is a private road? I haven't read it yet." Turns out I should have read it BEFORE approaching. Haha. A U turn was made and the cache found.

With our basecamp at the Alstonville showgrounds we headed off towards the coast to get some caches. The wall walk and the lighthouse beach walk at Ballina were wonderful but given the great selection of hides and locations we were kept entertained all day. This was one of the caches we targetted and found. Thankyou Aussie Liahona for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
Grabbed this one after logging the nearby trig on the primary site. Amazing views from up here! Great cache, thanks Aussie Liahona!
Thanks this was a bit tricky but fun. We drove all the way uo and turned around at the towers because there was a car behind us.
When is a driveway public or private? Safely retrieved before a local drove past. TFTC.
First find in 2 months for this cache, the grass was very overgrown, had geodad help me with all 3 on this road. Tftc
This was a quick find thanks to the hint. The cache is a little rusty but I was still able to open it and sign it.
TFTC, the views are pretty amazing up here.

We parked down the bottom and mistakenly thought we needed to walk back down the main road to a driveway but after a while, I realised we needed to head up instead. My family got over it once they saw all the cattle, including calves, sitting near the entrance and took lots of photos etc.
Tinda17 and I headed up and I got nice and dusty while accessing the Gz. Container is rusty but still in OK shape and log is fine. TFTC and more views!

It took us a little while to find how to get access to this cache. Only after reading the cache description did we feel confident to drive up what looked like a private road. The hint was a great help to locate the cache as when we had the cache in hand, our GPS said that we were 11m from GZ. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Aussie Liahona for the cache.
Due to major flooding and damaged roads we have disabled this cache while the area recovers and repairs are carried out. Sorry about the inconvenience - happy caching! Aussie Liahona.
Was time for the LONGGGG drive home, and Geocaching along the way just makes it that much longer. Normally from the GC to CBR is a 12 hour drive, well I did it in just over 21hrs.....
I targeted a number of Earthcaches along the way, and did a loop in Byron Bay. The weather was not so pleasent today however it was worth it. Seen some lovely scenery and even drove the Tweed Coast.
Left Gold Coast at 7am Tuesday morning and got home to Canaberra just after 5am, long day/night.
Was a little cautious about driving to this one as it does feel like a private road lol. Made a quick find at GZ then went up for the turn around and took some snaps of the trig point here too.
Thanks for the cache Aussie Liahona [^]

Our very first geo cache! Lots of fun! Great views took us a while to find it but lots of fun for the kids!
First find of 2017! and what a wonderful one it is. View is divine TFTC
The road definitely appears to be a private road, but another road user who passed us just waved, so I guess everything is ok. I parked as far to the side as I could and jumped out to search for the cache. It didnt take long to locate. TFTC
We took a drive out to Byron Bay today and also spent some time grabbing caches. TFTC
We did wonder about the road, and then read the description again and realised we were safe. More glorious views.

The views were extraordinary and the camera went klick, klick, klick. The cache was located and signed in a flash. Thank you for showing us this great stretch of the Byron Bay area. TFTC

I love geocaching. Takes me to all these great places you'd never bother venturing up under other circumstances. Thanks

Came up the hill to log the GCA trig station caches up here and did some of the GC traditionals as well. Read the hint and knew where to stop after after visiting the trgi station here. Quick grab of this cute container hidden in the obvious spot.
SL. Thanks for the hide Aussie Liahona.

Was on a good run prior to this — but could not find this one... Not even the hint was of use?
Yeewww, trespassing! Contrary to the description I got informed by locals that the road/driveway is indeed private. Gotta be sneaky now
During our wonderful holiday in Australia we found this cache together with Mowgli.
