Thanks...

South Australian OZ Mega 2014 in Murray Bridge. A Twelve day trip to and from the mega. Plenty of caching along the way and near Murray bridge. A great time with lots of cachers all over the place to make for a very entertaining period.
I joined up with Sol de Lune for the lead up to the Mega and the mega itself. As we headed to the next cache we saw this on the path side. All still in place. Thanks.

The view was amazing, the cache was easy. Adjusted camo to make it less noticeable to muggles.
We were caught out while trying to re-hide the cache. Didn't know which way to look when ibd77 came along. Need to work on our stealth. Luckily it was a fellow geocacher, but we didn't know it for sure at the time.
We happened to have a suitable spare log book in the car; and since we were nearby we made the little walk and placed it in the cache container.
Thank you for the journey.
Thank you for the journey.
Found it but nothing in the container apart from water. Needs notepad as a minimum.
Easily found, which is more than can be said for the cache contents, except the stash note. Had to use it as a log. TFTC.
Muggled for sure. Container was in the open with no contents exept the 'what is this' card.
Logged visit on back of sheet.

It's official. Menglers Hill Lookout is officially my new favourite place in the valley. Thank you for bringing me here. TFTC.
Found while holidaying in the area. Had a visit from Healthy Leg and the geo cousins from the south east. We all had a great day caching and exploring the area.

Took the TB. Left a couple of bandaids which for now are the only contents having nabbed the TB!!
So.... it was a very hot and sticky night at the camp ground. Since we were up too early to go to the cellar doors, we headed off to find some local caches.
On a beautiful place with a very nice view, we found this cache.

Out for an afternoon of caching on boxing day to reach our 100th find - this is number 99!! Beautiful weather, close to home - cache to a bit longer to find than some others today, but Geodad and son soon had it in hand. SL TFTC
Took my muggle nephew with me to reintroduce him to geocaching! Easy find TFTC

Found on a expedition with family and our Banana Bending friend of nearly 40 years, sadly he is a virgin cacher but that was remedied early in the day.
This find was one of several differing caches found on our trek through the Adelaide Hills and the Barossa.

Visited the lookout before, but not on a nice day like this. Carpark full of people enjoying themselves (with music coming from their bus . TNLNSL TFTC
Caching with Kool Running while in SA for a family wedding. Greetings from Albany in WA. Taking an afternoon drive around Tanunda and wineries. Great views from the lookout and interesting sculptures.
A fellow rider sent me up the path to look for a lost cacher. I found Jamisbike signing the log to record her visit. One of the easier finds for the trip.
One of 89 finds while riding the Bicycle SA 2012 Annual Tour.
Thanks for the cache will'n'grace.

Found by The Noodler although satellite lock was erattic at best. Took nothing, left opal.
For the perfect first day of spring, headed out for a day/night of caching in the Barossa Valley and beyond with honeysucker and locus cache. A great day out and some good numbers for the day/night.
Quick find and sign. TFTC.

a nice easy find and no smelly roo

I came out this a way taking a chance on a FTF on Happy International Geocaching Day 2012 - Barossa.
I was lucky on that one so can't complain too much about this cache but when I am in a hurry (had to get back for work) sometimes I don't read logs and descriptions, I just hunt down the cache.
This was one of those times, sadly.
I parked the car where I had a 70m odd walk down the hill.
I started walking only to smell, and then see, a dead kangaroo
Thankfully I locusd cache easily enough and then had to walk back past the roo again.
Next time, I will read the description, park nearer to GZ and come and see the sculptures too

Lots of people in the carpark and it was starting to rain. Made the short walk to gz and a quick find. Other people must have wondered why we went off in that direction when the main action was right in front of us.
Have been here once before for a cache and really enjoyed the spot.
Thanks will'n'grace

While visiting the valley for a relaxing weekend, we were meandering - trying to make the most of the miserable weather. We stropped in here, although there was not much view (the sculptures are interesting). The cache was an easy find - I could still see the car where Mrs HGL was waiting (was not willing to venture out in the rain). Thanks will'n'grace for the cache and nice spot.
Quick find on a crisp winter morning. I wonder if they'd let us fence off this area & build a house here?? lol TFTC
Found it No. 5583 ... wonderful view of all vines in the area ... TNLN ... TFTC will'n'grace
It's funny to see all the logs for the Tanunda caches from this weekend, anyone would have thought there was a wedding on... Oh that's right it was actually our wedding!
After cleaning up the function room and enjoying a nice relaxing cup of tea we thought it would be good to get out and grab a couple of caches since it was such a nice clear and pleasant day, much like the day before really!
A nice easy find with my wife Anja, her mum Anana, and good friends Irac.

**VERY LATE LOG** I found this file of gc finds off an old gps on an old harddrive and figured I should log them. Delete this log if it makes you unhappy.
Grabbed a cache or two with Skippy, FrozenFeet (then The Wibbles), and Winterdragon after a geocachers' wedding nearby. Great, unforgettable day. Thanks for the view, will'n'grace

Wandered up Mengler Hill with Team Wibble, and Skippy & SEMIK, after attending a non-geocaching event nearby. Okay, it was a slightly geocaching event. I hadn't been to the sculpture garden before, so it was nice to have the chance to wander through, admire the artwork, and wonder which was the seat with a view. Plenty of view to be had from the lookout and the garden today.
TNLN - Thanks will'n'grace!

Headed up the hill after a caching wedding, to grab this one along with some fellow wedding attendees. The view was spectacular in the late afternoon sun with autumn colours through the vineyards.
Found by Mary & David at 1420. Having just been to the Mengler cemetery, it is most appropriate to come here and imagine this panorama being worked by their families. Certainly a famous view that we've seen a few times. While we were there, two buses of tourists visited. Our thanks to will'n'grace.
Cloudy day but still lovely up here. I was here when the first sculptures were placed so it's special for me. TFTC!
We are going to do a maintenance check today on this cache and are going to replace the cache container with a bigger one. The original container was meant to be for another spot up there (actually near the actual seat) however it was too close to the "Stone Crazy" cache.
We replaced the cache today with a bigger container and dropped off two pathtags.
Not as touristy as the nearby "Stone Crazy" cache, so not much need to worry about muggles here.
Found relatively quickly.
Signed the log and relaced it as we found it.

Found with Triumph Twins while motorbike touring in the area. A great spot to stop and stretch the legs. TFTC
I was expecting a garden seat. This was better. A quick find in the last place we looked. The views were special tonight. The stars were shining. Clear skies indeed
Thanks to will'n'grace and clear skies from TeamAstro.

Found at 11:25 AM with XBRmob. Fortunately XBRmob found GZ before I ventured on to the rather steepish, slippery 'pine needle' slope.

Day 10 of our 3 week driving holiday from Perth to Adelaide and back. After staying in Tanunda last night, we took the scenic drive to Angaston this morning, and passed by this sculpture park on the way.
This cache took me quite a while to find. I must have looked under every rock, tree and other things in a 10m radius before I finally found the little mint tin!
Loved the sculptures, thanks for the cache will'n'grace!

Third find for the day on an Australia Day 'L' driver, caching trip. We parked in the main viewing area and quickly found the direction we needed to head, finding GZ wasn't quite so clear cut Gps had us walking around a bit, but when we found the spot we soon had cache in hand. TFTC
