The neighbouring house has undergone major landscaping and GZ is now just too visible.
Sorry!
Will place another, similar cache in the area, not far away.
Thanks for all the logs over the past couple of years!

Thanks pjmpjm for bring me here and cache.

Well if you have to get wet wandering around the area it's nice to bag a cache or two. Glad this one was a quick find and then back to the warm of the car. Tftc
Very clever, have not seen that type of hide before.
Ol' mate came to the resue told us he knows where it is and handed it to us.
Cheers ol' mate

Looked for a while and s bit perplexed but wasn't giving up. The owner of property arrived home and asked us if we needed help and before any response he showed location. Didn't seem too impressed people were Infront of his house. We followed all directives in description.
Very sneaky spot but great idea! TFTC

Cool cache! Spotted from the car driving past - helps that I have seen this recently before!
Log was wayyyy to wet to sign absolutely soaked.
Thanks!

Trying to squeeze in a few more before darkness - this was very easy and fun. Thanks pjmpjm.
We decided to go for a drive from our camping spot at Richmond to the Blue Mountains which was fogged in and raining. Disappointed that we werent able to take in what must be breathtaking scenery , all was not lost though as we managed to find this cache on our way.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Veni, vidi, repperi!

Well...I don't consider myself a newbie but couldn't find this 'cheeky' hide. So...I guess I am. Not found by the Aussie branch of the GronwoldFamily/Dobie's Pride.

The best camo I've seen in my 20 finds! Had a bit of a hint from another cachet only to confirm where I thought it would be but that camo is great !

Spotted a likely spot as we parked and bkj97 followed my direction and completed the grab in 30 seconds. T4TCSL
Cleaned up the camo and replaced the log.
Remember . . . the log is made of waterproof paper, so can be signed even when wet.
And it will often be wet!
Please don't touch the neighbour's new brick wall and, for heaven's sake, don't even think about going over the wall onto private property. The cache is easily accessible from the grassy verge.

After the 3rd attempt we found it!! But definitely needs repackaging!!! An inventive cache
Found on a mini-break in the mountains by the p and e of the pemal team. Great place to visit and lots of caching to be done in between fantastic walks! TFTC SL.
Hi pjmpjm,
Leura Alphabet is still fine, but needs a little TLC - the wall has been 'bagged' and this has effected the cache a little . Also, log is full, good sign for a great cache!- I was walking with minimum gear and did not have any spare.
Many thanks,
pemal......

Found on a day trip up to Leura on a top day.
Haha, what a cheeky bugger of a cache. We parked on a side street opposite the side of the cache, and walked across. My first instinct had me grabbing at the metal rod poking out of the ground, and when the front half of it came off I left it for some time.
Checked the sign - nothing could possibly be hidden there?
Kept looking elsewhere... and there it was. Whitemushroom placed a cache after this one that is similar opposite the RAAF base in Glenbrook!

Today Ohensler and myself made a long hike in the blue mountains and we came along this box too. Very nice hide worth a blue point.
Thanks for the cache, Spurenleserin.

Finally found it. Very tricky for newbies. Had to think outside the box. Team Corny
My husband (steha70) and I are travelling through NSW and Queensland. As we stop and do hikes we also try to find some geocaches.
We also came along this cache and we found it.
Thank you pjmpjm for the cache and greetings from Switzerland.

Came over from New Zealand for 6 days for a visit and some caching and an opera at the Opera House in Sydney (my first time caching outside NZ). I'm staying in Katoomba and arrived here after taking the hop-on hop-off bus that runs around Katoomba and Leura. I did many caches after this in the sweltering heat but in the cause of caching I pushed on, many places I found that most tourists will never see.
This cache had be wondering until I saw something that might be in line with the title, I have never seen such a cache hide, I was really blown away I have to say, this 'cache' was soooo cool. Definitely giving this a fave!!! Back in NZ now logging this cache (6-1-2015), I'm going to look around for something similar to this and surprise my fellow cachers here in Auckland. Thanks for the originality pjmpjm.

Found this one quickly, but didn't sign the 'log book' as the paper was a little wet & no writing implement.
Nice easy find... TFTC

A very smart geocache. It took us a moment until we spotted it. Thank you very much for this nice one.
On our todays tour we visited this site.
We took the opportunity to search for the cache nearby. We found it and signed the logbook.
Thanks for this nice cache !

After a long journey from the Netherlands this is our first day in Australia this year. We visit the Blue Mountains and do some caches. Thanks for showing us this place! Very nice hiding spot! TFTC!
Found with Jimmy, Joni, Jo, Arid. Sneaky hide! We were about move I and come back later, but then Joni found it! the log was soaked so we signed our own piece of paper and put it in. TFTC Patrick!
Found this cache. Thank you and greetings from hosebei, switzerland
Nice cache, had a long search.
Nice cache, had a long search.
Cunning hide. It helps that we had seen this type before, but it could be a challenge for newbies - give it a go, and good luck. (Log WET, needs to be waterproof or plastic paper)
We have to admit that we have seen this type of cache before. Otherwise it may have been a much longer hunt! Yes, this is a great location for this cache and we see why you chose it! TFTC.
I knew what to look for, but I looked everywhere else, including the hiding spot before checking further away. It was when I turned back that I saw what I missed.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Found on a family holiday in the Blue Mountains. 20th find for the trip.
The camo method used here is a little unusual and I have only seen it used once before. Usually the log sheet is in a plastic bag to keep it dry, but the log sheet in this cache had no such protection, so I was surprised to find it nice & dry. TFTC.

How many things like this have we walked past in pre caching days without a second glance?

Log is soaking, hard to sign, bit different d the best i could in drying it off before replacing it. Nice hide.
In the late afternoon we arrived in the Blue Mountains but it was still early enough to find some caches in the area. TFTC !
We concur with other caches that this was a special cache. It was, however, very wet. Tftc
TFTC!
Easy find, but very interesting
Didn't have a pen so took a photo with a cache

Very good. Having seen some of these before, it clicked. I'm surprised that the log stays dry. Photo attached as I came by bicycle.
This one took me a little bit. I had been at the right spot immediately, but it still wasn't that easy!
Thank you for this great idea
Thank you for this great idea
Missed this one - part of the problem was the house owner sitting in the sun in the garden on the phone ...
Good hide! Very inventive! Once you know it, its obvious! I like! To be honest, I was examining this object about 3 times. I thought from all sides...
We nearly gave up.. but... Suddenly I saw were it could be and it was!
TFTC! Very nice!
Cheers from Holland!

I had a hunch what this might be but still took me a few mins, love it, tftc!
What a beauty. Never seen something like this before! TFTC from the Netherlands.
I must admit, this one had me stumped for a while. How can something be so visible and yet so well hidden. Finally, once I thought outside the box I soon had CIH. TFTC!
A relatively easy find, as I have found one of these back in Canberra. Neat little 'containers', aren't they! Thanks pjmpjm.
We looked first behind the big thing but than..... got ja. TFTC and the nice hidden spots.
Thanks for a great hide, this is the first time I have seen a cache like this. Geo hubby actually found it. Another one to add to tally hunting on the mountains. TFTF
Gentleman Assassin found this pretty fast - we have seen one of these before! Really appreciated the waterproof log though, a great cache! TFTC
Replaced the full log sheet!
Remember that this geocache is designed to get wet, and then I've used waterproof paper for the log sheet.
So you can claim your smilie no matter what the weather!
(BTW, by the time I drove over to GZ today, the log had already dried itself out, thanks to two sunny days in a row!)
That special paper is doing a great job and was easy to sign.
The log is now full but room for a few more on the side.
Having come across one of these before made for an easy find.

Found this one on my roadtrip while exploring Katoomba & surrounds. Took me a little to locate this one. Sneaky hide. Earns a favourite from me.

Boîte découverte dans le brouillard. Cela n'était pas un souci pour la team composée de Morgane la chipie, de mirage breton et de moi même. Thanks from France.
Found with Mummy Mirage and Daddy Ewilund. Thanks for the cache and Hi from France!
Please remember that this cache is designed to get wet.
I've bought special paper (all the way from Melbourne) for the log sheet, which will allow you to write on it, even if the paper is quite damp.
Although I do drop by this cache from time to time and always dry it out, you'll often find it slightly damp. In this case, please just sign your name. (Up here in the Blue Mountains, we're very, very grateful for rain!)
There's no need for a 'Needs Maintenance' log in the case of dampness . . .
Many thanks.
Happy hunting!

Real sneaky one, found it after third visit. Log is pretty much full, slightly damp but still good. Didn't have a pen with me so I will sign later.
Yet another of these hides - found quite a few but still appreciate the camo, so thanks. Made a very quick grab this morning. It was drizzling, and very foggy, and cold, so we were glad to be fast and to rush back into the car! (we hadn't brought jumpers or long trousers and the maximum temperature was 19° - nice! ) Enjoying our little tour around Leura.
