Caches deteriorate over time. Life gets busy. Would prefer that Geocacher's don't have too many
below average experiences.
It's time to disable until we can revamp.
Happy for people to check, find and register a smilie if they are inclined

Thanks for find. Spending the day IN Wallaroo. Don't think many people take the correct route to the cache. Found w mrbuzzy
Day Thirteen of our holiday, BettyBoo3747 and I visited historic Wallaroo. With a historical buildings map in one hand and a caching map in the other we rode our deadly treadlies around the streets and piers. (That wasn't easy with no hands!)
We needed to stop at lunchtime near the pier, and sort through all the remaining caches to remove those that haven't been found for the last year. Maybe some maintenance needs to be done in this town?
It is obviously not Christmas as we saw zero swans-a-swimming today!
But we did find a cache - that is probably better than a swan anyway.
Thanks, Robmc.

#11799. Day 13 of our SA holiday. Time for Robmc and me to visit historic Wallaroo and see if we can find some caches. Well yes we did, and a few DNF's before we got wise and went to get lunch. Lunch-time was the time to check every potential unfound cache and see whether they were worth visiting or whether they were missing. Well, that narrowed things down a bit. And still we were unsuccessful at some. We must try harder.
Riding around after lunch and here we are looking at some nice boats sitting calmly on the water. Such a pretty picture. Added our names and off we went to the next one.
Thanks Gum-Ako

Two RailMax's and Poppy the Wonderdog decided it was high time for a road trip for the day to Wallaroo. Parking near the Marina Apartments, we first walked around part of the Marina and then back the other way taking in the sites and the history of mining in the town, as well as the light house. Fish and Chips near the jetty and then the walk back to the parked car and some driving to more caches around the town before heading home.
This was the first find of our day adventure. A fairly quick find although it's in a high muggle traffic area as most of the bushes have well worn trampled paths. Lovely view! Thanks for the cache!!!

Lots of expensive looking Christmas presents sitting in the water here .
Quickly found on a very hot afternoon . TNLNSL.
Thanks again Gum-Phyl.

It was pretty obvious which bush it was as it must be a shortcut for the locals (right through the middle of it). The bush didn't give up it's secret easily as it doused me in fine grey dust as I went in for the search.
On this occassion, I am doing a generic log. I have travelled from Queensland to meet up with Muff1 for a Geocaching extravaganza on the beautiful Yorke Peninsular.
Our goal to Cache, Cache and Cache. Each day our "finds" have been growing in number, some days more productive then others. Repairs and replacement of broken containers, new log books and adding a new plastic bag here and there have all been part of the fun we have been having.
We have also been careful to take time to appreciate the natural wonder of the areas we have visited. The variety of caches was interesting, some very clever, some the quick grab they were designed to be.
My sincere thanks to Muff1 for providing me with the opportunity to join them on this geocaching holiday.
A big thank you to all of the dedicated Cache placers who have made this possible.

An eassy park and grab for the team.
First we must appologise for the generic logs.
We came to Yorke Peninsular with Speedmistress who hails from Queensland to cache our little hearts out and this we are doing.
We solved loads of puzzles prior to coming and with all the earth, multi, trads and puzzles there are here we were never lacking in variety.
When we found caches that needed repair we have done our best to do what was possible, unfortunately we have now rum out of spare containers, so no more repairs can be done. We have enjoyed the scenery, the walks, the animal life and the challenges that was encountered while traveling the Peninsular. Not all the caches have been attempted due to time restraints but those have been earmarked for future visits.
We also would like to thank Speedmistress for supplying our geocaching chariot.
A huge thanks to all the cache owners for placing these caches for us to enjoy.

It was a crazy hot day, so that may have been why we couldn't find it? It may also have been because it looks like there has been fresh bark put down in the area. I'm not sure, but after 10 minutes of solid searching I decided to move on to another cache.
Found on a beautiful day caching around Wallaroo. Enjoyed an early (and very large) breakfast at a local cafe and then spent a couple more hours making some finds around the area
A nice, easy find here but the cache may be in jeopardy in the future when the land opposite (which has recently been sold) has houses built on it
Many thanks for showing us this area Gum-Ako[^]

MM+2 were in Wallaroo for a birthday party. Dad was itching for a bit of a walk, so he wandered through the new marina suburbs, following his GPSr and walking through vacant sections as he headed towards GZ. Once at GZ the hint was a big help as there were plenty of potential hiding spots. Found quickly, signed and returned. Bit hot for muggles today.
TFTC Gum-Ako!
Grey nomading and caching our way up the middle, across the top, down to Perth and home to Adelaide for Xmas. Yes there is a track through the bush but we didn't use it. T.F.T.C.
I have to agree with a previous finder about this hide - caches hidden in vegetation with no obvious location for the cache always end up in the vegetation getting trashed.
Thanks Gum-Ako for the cache

Found it with B.O. quick find lovely looking over Marina. Pity plants are getting trodden down. TFTC TNLN SL
Found it with CherryRose on our 6th day of our 10 days of caching fun on Yorke Peninsula. Easy find but silver bush has been trampled. People not heeding the instructions to enter from flagpole side. TFTC TNLNSL
Up for a fund raiser Barn Dance and had the opportunity for a bit of caching with Mattycat, searching by torchlight we got lucky and a quick find on this occasion TFTC Gum-Ako
Having just found another cache nearby I took a new friend down here to introduce her to this wonderful pastime. It was a good find but we were both upset to see that it was quite obvious other cachers had trampled through the garden to secure the cache. Sad, sad, sad! We soon had cache in hand, signing duties performed and cache returned to its hidey hole. Thanks for the series Gum-Ako . TNLN SL TFTC
Came to the lovely YP to see and experience the Kernewek Lowender and of course visit a good friend. Cached today after the Cavalcade of Cars, which I highly recommend watching and the tourist railway around the mines. . This was found during that time. Thanks for the caches we loved them.
Out for a nice drive today grabbing a few caches along the way. People are obviously getting to the cache from the car park side as there was a very distinct geo trail leading right to GZ. [?]
Thanks for the cache Gum-Ako.
Thanks for the cache Gum-Ako.
Thanks Gum-Ako, fairly easy to find, the hint was not important because of the geo-trail already there!!
Today Sorceysal, Tess the geodog and I headed to Wallaroo from Pt Turton and found a heap of caches along the way.
Thanks Lynnie for this one, a nice hide

Day 6 into my epic road journey with the bogonghazy's had us heading north to Wallaroo and picking up a swag of caches along the way.
I think the flags here have seen better days. Thanks GumAko

Our last find in "urban" Wallaroo today, it was a nice albeit short visit here. A pretty and exclusive looking area this marina is. TNLNSL TFTC
Found on a weekend of caching with Freddo.
I managed to clean up a few previous dnfs.
Thankfully one of us could interpret the hint.
Apologies for the generic logs.

Found on a beautiful hot summer night. What a lovely spot...the lights in the nearby Ale House look very attracting !!!! Tftc..
Found spot but could not get cache due to lots of mugglers, so came back a bit later and did a quick drive by. Tftc
The rare weekend without kids meant we could do a little caching again Thankyou
Today is not Christmas but we were given a smiley nonetheless. People have really wrecked the area looking for this cache.
On the Seventh Day of Christmas my true love gave to me,
a Farr 36 and a water front Condo near the jetty
Ahoy !!
Permission to find the cache Captain !!
Aye !!
TFTC on me bike ride around the area today

I don't think the geogaching community is doing the right thing and heeding the warning here. We certainly can be destructive lot!!!!
A quick find was made in this very exclusive area. Wouldn't mind owning a home here.
Thanks.

Day four with Alansee and Micaparamedic we were now based in Wallaroo for another three days of caching fun
We started this series a couple of years ago and are still picking them off, even though it's still a long way from Xmas with this many eyes the cache was located quickly and our initials added to the log.
To save room in the logs we signed as M.A.C.( Micaparamedic Alansee and Team Crackers).
Thanks for the cache and the series.
On a caching assault of the Yorke Peninsular with alansee and Team Crackers over the last six days. We have found many caches which have proven enjoyable and sometimes challenging Alansee had worked diligently in planning routes we would take to minimize wasted kilometres driven to find the numbers we have been able to do. Most logs have been signed as MAC (micaparamedic, alansee and crackers)
Many thanks Gum-Ako for placing this cache .
