Thanks- its a bit overgrown but have faith its there! We are the first in 2 years!
A stop for the dogs on the way to Crows Nest. Didnt realise there were so many small roads in here and so few caches. TFTC
We left Brisbane just after 10am yesterday to meet up with my wife’s friend at a cafe in Toowoomba before heading to lunch at myrtille at crows nest with family who live on land near by.
Spent the night nursing poddy calf’s and Roos and consuming a few beverages.in the morning found a few hours to work on a challenge to have on the radar
Found a safe spot to park the car and headed to ground zero to claims find. Located the cache and put my name into the log and replaced it safely back into its hiding spot
Returned to the car and leaded off to pick up a few more before a lovely lunch.
A big thanks to the cache owner for placing the cache and making it available to be found.
Cheers

Hi there krossbo, we found your cache Plantation #2 today.
Day five touring out from Toowoomba. Today we’re touring to the north. Previous days have seen some great geocaching, and today is looking to be the same if not better.
As we’ve mentioned in many many logs this trip, we absolutely hate bush bashing through Lantana.
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the countryside today, & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, sizes and ratings.
Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache 7 m from where our GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: Good.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Both my Geodog Scruffy and myself were itching to get out and find a few caches, so with the weather looking a little more pleasant, if not quite cold .. we headed off
All Good .. TFTC ..

Quick find while road tripping for the day through the Toowoomba and Somerset regions. All good with this cache. TFTC.
A slight detour on my way home from Crows Nest... well not really that slight... but when you think that you have time for just one more... and then that turns into half a dozen... well you get the picture....
A quick find in the obvious spot... tftc... there is quite a bit of construction going on through here, but luckily it's all on the other side of the road...

Tftc krossbo, little diversion off the main road to grab this series of 6 , 1 disabled, and 2 Dnf, easy find here all in good condition
Drove out while it wasn't raining and found the cache in good condition. Log signed and replaced. Tftc
TFCSL doing series but appears number 3 not available. Thought this series would be a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack! But they were great caches! Thanks CO!

Probably the easiest of the 6 caches done here today.
Learning to run down the dusty banks to the road and not try to get down slowly.
Thanks.

Teaming up with Slow Puncture and Orange Crew for the Rural Safari this was the first time for ruzzelz. Enjoyed the day out and about in the Crows Nest - Cooyar area and sure hope the poor folks up there get some rain this spring as the country is very dry.
On the way home I collected a few caches here and these.

The entire town and forest of Skund seem to be mobile and furtive. The survey for A Tourist Guide to Lancre found it on the border of Lancre, hubwards of Bad Ass; a little later, another map in The New Discworld Companion shows it far across on the Widdershins side.
It is not surprising, then, that the area is little-known and rather mysterious to outsiders, and makes a handy location for tall stories which will be hard to disprove.

Took a soldier. Easy to find. Half a stump. Needs a new book because it is moldy.
Yay found it after a little search with a bouncy gps. Look beyond the device and came up trumps. Tftc
Fantastic walk along the road beside the pine forest, found within 30 seconds - good fun though!
Do you want a brief explanation of an acorn?
In a nutshell, it’s an oak tree!

Nice easy find TFTC
The log is soaked so might need some TLC
I wiped container out as best I could but didn’t bring my geopack with me sorry.

Saw it from the car pretty much. The container is wet and mouldy. Team AlphaCharlieLima.
Moving along from our first encounter and found this next one without an issue.... however the log was kind of on the mouldy side so took another photo log. Yes, we are a little precious
Thanks for the cache krossbo

The next cache in the Plantation series, we made another quick find but water has made its way into the cache and the logbook was black inside. Once again a photo was taken instead.
Thanks for the cache krossbo.

Failed to located Cooby Dam so headed into the forest for a drive. This was a quick find
Be careful if driving through here as the locals use it as a speedway

Actually went right past this one but after a little back track was spotted quickly
