Unfortunately a DNF here. It would have been good to get 6 smileys but I guess 5 will have to do.
We suspect we know what this hide might have been but we didn't find it anyway.
Thanks.

Looked, looked, looked some more and then was looked at by passing locals. Oh and BTW the place is being destroyed. This should not be happening for a 1.5 / 1.5 cache.
Skund, home of talking trees, gnomes (e.g., one called Constable Swires) who live in toadstools, gingerbread cottages, and shamans.
We searched for a while as a motorcyclist rode past. And then rode back again. And then again. And then a couple of ladies on horseback rode past. And then an Energex truck. But we couldn’t find the cache
I ran out of time here and Did not manage a smiley this time, I really was pressed for time though and feel that I didn't look as keenly as normal
Hardest one to find today! Great job SilverSpirit1310 for the find after about 25mins searching with blestuzzi & _hitam
Took a little while to find. Definitely worth the time. Not film container but specimen container
Silverspirit1310 for the find. We looked for about a half an hour to get this one. A tricky find. Now to grab the last couple before the sun sets.
Out and about with MrGravel and KacheAU - thought we would grab a few on the way to Toowoomba. Getting very thorny in these areas now
What a lovely specimen! LOL

Ok that one was a little harder. Read some logs ignored gps and legend geohubby came up with the goods. Tftc. Didn’t want a blue meanie on the trail
We looked for 30 minutes, checking high and low through the shrubbery but were unable to locate this cache.
What do you get when you cross a tabby cat with a lemon tree?
A sour puss!

Happily we had no face eating spiders or mould cache creatures to contend with here at GZ and managed to leave our scribble on the logbook.
Thanks for the cache krossbo

Driving down the road a little further, we made it soon to the third cache. As we began the hunt, NyssaFlutterby soon had her hands on the cache. This one was in good condition and we managed to sign the logbook.
Thanks for the cache krossbo.

Failed to located Cooby Dam so headed into the forest for a drive. This was a quick find
Be careful if driving through here as the locals use it as a speedway

Couldn’t find this one last time we were looking. It’s great to be able to turn the frown upside down.

We have set up camp at the Hampton Information Center, touring the local area visiting & discovering a few small towns & finding their caches.
A good variety of caches & hides found.
We had a DNF on this back in 2012, this time we struck it lucky.
Thanks for placing this cache krossbo

Geokale and geome decided to have an afternoon of geocaching. Thought it was time to find those local gcs that we haven't made time for. So off we went. Tricky little buggar. This one was found and conquered. Yay. Tftc
Explored the road behind the cache area...would love to know what the big pipes are for! Gorgeous little birds in the area...The geobrat is loving our little discovery trip!
Wandered round in the trees for ages and made this one a lot harder than it should have been - until geowife uttered that cry we like to hear - Found It!! Tricky little blighter. TFTC krossbo
Spent the weekend in Brisbane at a conference and naturally took some extra time to go Geocaching. So conference is over, now time for some serious caching. Headed out to Toowoomba for a few days to cache around the area. We much prefer small towns and country caching to big city caching.
Today we drove up to Lake Perseverance caching and exploring. Took a detour through the forest to pick up the series there. This one took way longer than it should and after reading previous logs and an extensive hunt, checking every available hiding place Mrs S eventually made the find. Well hidden. So pleased to not DNF this one.
Thanks krossbo and greetings from New Zealand.

Did have us stumped for a bit as the perfect hide was empty. Where to now? Ok, widen the search and it will be revealed. Kutgw
We came upon your cache, krossbo, while travelling from Crows Nest on our homeward journey to Brisbane, after enjoying the 2017 Rural Safari event.
Found OK but I was glad no one was filming as I caught a stick between my ankles and tripped over the bank. Thankfully the recent rain has softened the ground!
Log signed and replaced at 2:01 pm on 3 December 2017. TFTC.

A nice drive down the trail to grab these caches. Dodging the showers as we go.
Thanks

Heading to Crows Nest for the 2017 Rural Safari event tomorrow, and it's only logical to visit a few new or previously unfound caches along the way.
Thanks for the hunt **krossbo**, this find makes #4511. Discover our TB

**# 17517** Found on the Qld leg of our 2017 winter escape trip.
Another perfect warm winter day for a drive to the Plantation series.
Not many muggles around and a good lucky find here.
It was about 8m from my GZ, but I spotted the hide on approach.
Thanks for the cache krossbo,

After crawling around everywhere, it had us stumped as to where to look. Turns out we were barking up the wrong trees. Tftc
Had us stumped for a little while before Chil found the cheeky little fellow. TFTC
Pulled up & had an idea...after a few minutes we were cursing bush micros. Seems we were making it more difficult than necessary & our frustration was brief as we turned up the little blighter soon enough. Tftc krossbo xo

We decided to take on Toowoomba & surrounds again today as there are SO MANY coloured dots that need to be converted to yellow here! LOL ...
This one took a few minutes before the sneaky little beast ventured out into the light.
Nicely placed.
Made our mark & replace as found.

Found with Mum as 'Jess & Caro' but now I have my own geocaching profile we are sorting my logs for caches we found together. TFTC!
This is where things started to go not so well for us.
We really had trouble with this cache, previous searchers DNF, phone-a-friend didn't answer our call for assistance, and 4 hungry children who wanted to be fed.
Not a good combo.
Nevertheless we really did our best to 'reveal' this cache as we really can't imagine why anyone would muggle or stumble across a cache here. Still, no luck for us here today.
So we'll be watching this one and try again some other time.

After grabbing many things to reveal the hiding spot still walked away with a sad face
Most of these were nice quick finds and we were cruising through the little series nicely.
Day 1 of my camping weekend at Crows Nest teamdfl and I have made our way from Brisbane, taken our first big hike, had lunch in Hampton, and now we are picking off a few of the nearby caches [^]
We thought we'd be taking a walk around the plantation, but a read of a few logs showed driving was the way to go. The road has recently been graded, making things easier. All the co-ords were spot on, and the caches came to hand easily. TFTC trail, krossbo.

TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
In the dark I found this one quite hard to find. There are so many likely locations, and whether it was the tree cover, the cloud cover or what, I don't know, but the co-ords didn't settle too quickly. In the end I resorted to a PAF but before such help was given I found the container all by myself, and with much relief I must say. Thanks for this mini power trail krossbo. I'm enjoying it - even in the dark. Cheers! [^][^]
Up early after attending the 2016 Rural Challenge, decided to do a number of caches on the way back to Brisbane. Decided to do the 6 Plantation caches on the country roads. Approached GZ and after short time searching cache was found TFTC.
Returning home via Toowoomba area after attending the 2016 Rural Challenge in Crows Nest. My second visit to this cache and it still took some searching. But found at last! Thanks krossbo.
#7539 Cache Found
Heading SouthWesrt this morning to meet up with some muggle friends from NSW in Esk for a coffee and a chat. While we were having coffee we watch a passing parade of Harley Davidson's rumble past the cafe, The entire Harley population of Queensland must of been there, It took nearly 15 minutes for them to pass. Good to get off the highway for a little while Nice cache, Thanks for bringing me here and for the adventure
Thanks for the great cache and adventure krossbo

Sunday, March 6, 1994. : The second Biosphere 2 mission begins.
Biosphere 2 is an artificial, sealed ecological system in the desert outside Oracle, Arizona. It was built in the late 1980s, to test whether people could live and study in a closed, isolated environment, whilst carrying out scientific experiments. Biosphere 2 was designed as an airtight replica of Earth's environment, and included a 3,406,000 litre ocean, rainforest, a desert, agricultural areas and a human habitat. It was called Biosphere 2, because Earth itself is considered the first biosphere. The experiment was intended to explore the possible use of closed biospheres in space colonisation.
The first mission involved four men and four women living in the Biosphere for two years from 26 September 1991 until 26 September 1993. The experiment lost some credibility when oxygen and other necessities were required to be provided.
The second Biosphere 2 mission began on 6 March 1994. Seven people from five countries were selected for this experiment, remaining in the Biosphere for six months. The experiment was fraught with problems and the project met with considerable disdain among the scientific community. Biosphere 2 is now open as a hands-on, interactive science centre.

After trying to grab one of these when we first started geocaching and failed we were determined to find them all. A couple were a challenge but there was no one about so WillPunkey and I had no difficulty in finding all 6. Thanks krossbow for making the trail. The hint missled us but we soon found it
Love this trail! Lots of fun and well done. Found after a little bit of searching
