Wasn’t able to find the first cache. Fencing around looks new but doesn’t mean it wasn’t there. Only here for one more day so decided to move on to others given the time it seemed to take to find them.
Couldn't find first step, decided to bench it and keep going on the other local caches. Time's a'ticking!
Found with the geofamily 4Moule. Original cache found and retrieved after finding the throw down. Was an awesome adventure. TFTC
Eeeeiiikkk (the excited scream from geo-wife) we have been slowly completing this multi over the last month with our friends ww2_nut. CO gave us a hand to stage 2 and we were on our way. Loved every puzzle and the adventure to gz. We made the geo-hubbies take the dip while geo-wives and kids took the dry route. Found the replacement cache and have also retrieved the original. Signed both logs and replacement is now inside original. Thanks so much cruisinblues this was definitely a favourite for us!
As I'm now 3 months behind in my logging I am desperately trying to catch up and am mass logging to do so.
Staying with Mr and Mrs Moneydork for Christmas along with SEMIK and having a wonderfully relaxing time with awesome company [^][:X]
Today's Christmas day outing led to 7 cache finds and 1 event attended
This cache has been bothering someone for some time, apparently and so today the means to the end was utilised to alow access to GZ! [^]
Interestingly the person most bothered by this close unfound cache decided to allow the women to make the retrieval
What was funny was that the new camera received for Christmas was not pointed at me when I decided to walk straight into the river and suddenly found it was waaaay deeper than i had anticipated!
It was also a bloody good thing that i had realised only minutes before that my GPSr was actually no longer water resistant as a rubber cap had broken off and left a gaping hole [?][?]
Not expecting to be in deep water but knowing that there was always a slight risk, I had chewed a chewie until it was soft and then used that to plug the hole in my GPSr [^] I'm so impressed and pleased that it worked as I didn't have the money to buy a new Montana!
Arriving at GZ both SEMIK and I wandered, searched, looked, wandered, searched, looked again and then made the PAF to the last finders who gave explicit directions to the GZ.
So much fun for one cache [^]

An epic multi that truly tested our brains, with 3 teams and 3 days on the job we finally defeated "10 Types" and can log this cache with great satisfaction and add a very well earnt favourite point to your collection. With a leg up to the 2nd wpt we found something similar that had been solved once before but from then on we were on our own. The next point clever and the next puzzle devious , devious, devious. Took a very long time to nut this one out but eventually , with a slight hint we found what was needed to continue. The last field puzzle had us going for a little, we had guessed what it was but just had to nut it out properly to give us the final GZ. With that sorted we had 3 teams with big smiles on their faces ready to tackle the ultimate final. As McLookers indicated we had a ball trying to retrieve the final and add our names to the very unloved cache, laughs were had by all, especially DAB at one point!
**Thankyou very much cruisinblues for a fun adventure near and around the river, great locations and great puzzles kept us amused throughout most of our trip in Mildura.**

I'm usually not a fan of multis and after this marathon effort...... I don't think we realised what sort of mammoth task was ahead of us. Having said that, some of the methods used at the waypoints were brilliant. A few of the waypoints used methods I hadn't seen utilised before !! After what seemed like forever, we finally got to claim victory. I think any multi after this one will feel very short !! A huge fave point from me. It was a great feeling to be able to claim a stack of unloved here. TFTC cruisinblues
What an adventure! It began with a bit of a leg up to the 2nd Point. Once there, eventually the information was retrieved and it was off to Point 3. A lot of circle walking and almost giving up when the lights went on. At Point 4, a long search resulted in zilch. After a helping hint, the information revealed itself and we were off to Point 5. This took quite a bit longer to nut out but eventually some finals were in hand. At GZ the situation was interesting and after a lot of laughs we had the cache in hand, log signed and replaced. Safely back into the cars we were off for a very, very late breakfast.....almost lunch!!! Thanks cruisinblues for the challenges at each turn. Found today with The Tritonz and DAB, certainly a team effort.
Oh so close, we got everything done and there lay the final GZ.so close yet without the right equipment so far away. If only we had a ???? Then life would be a dream. Still thinking of possibilities on the way home from Broken Hill
If you are planning to do this one, do it soon because its going away for a holiday.
Hi can I get a hint to stage 3 please I have driven out 4 times ?? [email protected] cheers
This was our 9th cache find in the caching run & we found it at 18:23
So this now makes our total find count 5783.

We are spending a week caching around Mildura with Phetlern. Today we spent a really enjoyable half day caching on our own while Phetlern attempted some of the longer multi caches that we have already done.
Looking at the map, it appears that we have finally cleared out the town grid (until more caches are placed of course.)
Then, as we had an offer of a boat ride, both teams attempted the final of this one. Cruisinblues dropped us off on the island, and we then proceeded to spend quite some time at the wrong coordinates. After re-threading the numbers in our GPS the large cache was soon in hand.
[/blue]
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in great shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks cruisinblues for the hunt today.

We are not convinced we found 10 types - but we certainly learnt about "ELEVEN"th St, our 11 times tables are polished up. Mildura seems to be gathering a reputation for ingenious multi's and mystery's. A great deal of devious thinking and planning has been used to create an amazing cache. We must thank the CO for providing the watercraft and giving us a push in the right direction before it got dark when it seems we had a conversion problem. This masterpiece of work is worth every fraction of it's D4/T4 rating and gets a tick from us.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt cruisinblues.

Found it at last. Started this one at the end of March, had a few stumbling blocks along the way. Got stuck at 2nd and 5th stages. Took us some time to sort out the codes of these two, but never gave up. Realy enjoyed the challenges of each stage. We took all 3 trackables and left 3 things in their place , will move them on quickly for you. Hubby had an interesting way of getting to final cache, he didn't mind getting wet. Many thanks to cruisinblues for the imagination put into this one. tftc
Out and about - dropped off a couple of trackables. The 5 star coin has been held almost forever - I tried to get out here a couple of times, but succeeded today. Somebody come and rescue them.

Made the final cache, after entering the wrong coordinates on Sunday causing alot of angst. Enjoyed the brain work out. Your most clever yet!
Stage 2 is fixed. Stage 4 is made difficult by the high river levels but is not impossible. You would need to wade to GZ stage 4 at present. You would probably need a 4wd too as the water crosses the road in one low spot. Whatever you do, don't try to approach GZ in a car for the last 400 metres.
Yes, It's a little damaged. Offline until the River level goes down and some repairs have been done.
We've got the final coordinates, but don't think we can successfully log this one without getting seriously wet in the process.
(We are quite happy to be corrected on our assumption though.)
We enjoyed the hunt, but don't want to log a DNF because we didn't get to the final GZ for a look.

Oops, sorry we think we broke one of the "things".
When pulling it out of its resting place, a piece of green fell to the ground. We've placed it in a snaplock bag, but that probably won't help future finders.
(Luckily we saw it, and were able to extrapolate it's location and function.)

Started this cache just after Christmas when we visited Merbein and relatives including Jem03. The first stage took 2 visits and help from then non member Jem03, off to next stage, some work, then next stage, some adding, cursing, working as a team and off to stage 4. Halt...... We had to leave Merbein and return home to SA... We also couldn't find the clue at stage 4 without a hint from doheng. Parents of Aussie Mark, Jem03 and hubby, were back to where we had already searched and after another hunt the clue was found. Photographs were taken and phone calls made. Aussie Mark worked out the next stage from SA and sent Jem03 and hubby off in search of the next clue. Well they looked at it, touched it, walked around it and visited it several times... Aussie M & M decided a weekend visit was called for and so we arrived on 3/3/12. Early on 4/3/12 we headed for stage 5, Aussie Mary had the clue in hand at the same time as Aussie Mark spotted it. Jem03 was unimpressed as she had been so close and yet so far...
Well, we thought it would be easy to get from there to the end point but no, we were puzzled although Aussie Mark had an idea. It seemed an odd GZ and required confirmation from the owner.... Then before we headed off, we registered Jem03, finally, as she has found many caches with us, and off we went with a geodog in tow. Wow, what a multi, so challenging and it was a true team effort. Thanks cruisinblues...one of the best caches we have ever done......

Thought I'd start this one today, but probably choose the wrong time of the day to start...Too hot, and no luck as yet. Will be back

We can only reiterate what we said in our previous note, an exceptional multi with evidence of some serious effort in preparation and implementation and which certainly enhances the Mildura geocaching scene in no small way.
Google was not our friend when resolving wpt 5 although providing us with enough detail to pin down GZs location and only at the last minutes prior to our delayed departure for home did it all come together.
We made our approach from interstate, thank you Chris and Jenny for your contribution there!
Thank you cruisinblues for this memorable geo experience, and by the way Shell thanks you as well!
Cheers and we wait with some trepidation for our next encounter,
from Romax.

We will not log a DNF yet as this is still an ongoing project and our limited time in town will most likely mean a return visit.
We found all your five initial points and even though we were expecting the unusual having found quite a number of your hides recently, you have certainly excelled yourself this time, all points very cunning and unique.
We now realize the reason for the cache name and appear to have one half of the required numbers and that is where we are presently stymied.
However this note provides us with the opportunity to wish you and yours all the best for the coming New Year.
An excellent multi and well worth the nominated ratings.
Cheers,
from Romax.

First to find. Great cache that will have you looking all around and around. All the Co-ords are good. Trust your GPS. Not all the clues are first apparent. Keep looking and it will all work out. The 4 star difficulty and terrain will become apparent as you go through the stages.
Well done. Had us thinking and looking hard.
We really enjoyed the challenges.
Brian and Meg.

attempted to find the first co-ordinates but had no luck Will email owner. Have been out there three times and with two of us looking with no luck. We have even dreamt about it with no joy. We are determined not to give up.
