Even though it was dry we parked at the designated spot and had a nice walk to GZ . Quick easy find. Thanks for bringing us here Tftc
Hopefully still make it out before dark. Almost went swimming on the log bridge. What fun. TFTC FatFarma
We camped on the river here at Nyah on our way home from the Wangaratta Mega and after a great bbq Egg & Bacon brekkie on the edge of the Murray, we proceeded to knock off a few caches before our final leg home A quick find at GZ. TFTC
Another excellent cache found along our big walk to welcome in 2021. This cache came with its very own spider.
Wandered to this one from camp in Nyah with Lynne & the dog as tracks still a bit damp. Loved the old bush engineering on the way. Red gum logging must have been hard yakka.
Found during our COVID 2020 Murray River trip. While Melbourne was in a state of turmoil rural Victoria was still okay, and with 4 weeks leave, and all the borders closed we decided the only warmish place in Vic was going to be as north as we could get. After a decade or so travelling north and west we started on the trips we'd left til later - the Murray River. Starting from East Gippsland we got to Wemen out of Robinvale before they announced Victoria was going back into Stage 3. Now we're working our way back home and avoiding Melbourne. Found this along the way. TFTC. DJ

Had a crack at this after being frustrated by the cache at the entrance to the area. Tracks still pretty soft. After having had the GU bogged earlier in the afternoon, decided a nearing sunset approach to this one was a significant risk of a solo after dark recovery. Gave it a miss. Stuck here for a few days so if the tracks dry out I'll have another crack.

Nyah Day 2 staying at the trotting club.
After lunch we looked for caches that were close to our camping ground, Hubby went off on his bike to do a few. He loves doing it this way.
The cache locations were varied & a variety of containers found.we

Found today detouring on our way home from Swan Hill. Amazed at the Tee Pees built out here
We have commenced Part 2 of our holiday. Part 1 was Easter at Morisset and we came home to sort out some family business. Now we are heading back to Bendigo after some time in South Australia.
After a comfortable night camping in the Piangal rest area we headed off caching around Tooleybuc and towards Nyah.

Camping on the river at Nyah for Easter and great to do some caching thanks for all the nearby caches and the history of the area. this was an interesting and we approached from dry plain track
Once again one of those searches that want to go on and on until you have to call it quits for now. Enjoyed the walk through the bush, which I will have to do again shortly to lay this one to rest.
Adelaide Trip September 2017. Day 11. The last day of my trip took me from the Murray River to Canberra via Toolybuc, Hay and Wagga. The day started well with a few fun bush hides, then I started getting DNF after DNF. I had to give up and head onwards. To make matters worse, despite the find, when I got back to the car, I had a flat tyre. A side wall puncture from earlier in the day.
Thanks.

4552. Found with Relish64 and the geohound while on our way to Wongulla in S.A.
A nice walk that the geohound really enjoyed despite us ever vigilant of wriggly sticks.

Could not walk to GZ as there is flooding going on with large amounts of water from the Murray inundating the area.
Tftc, found it ! Good adventure with 3 exchange students from all around the world !
The forest here has a sublime beauty, especially backed by the Murray River. Taking the time to walk to this cache can give you an essence of that beauty and I agree with the caching notes that it would ideal for a longer stay either as a BBQ closer to the River on a day visit or some overnight camping.
Cache readily to hand thanks to exact co-ordinates. Found in the company of 'Dylan 7a'.
Thank you to 'Swanhillian' for the cache and its location.

This one's name just made me think of Parks and Recreation. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but we enjoy it. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.
Parked the car and started walking. ended up walking straight past the cache and had to double back. I wonder where that track goes to?
A quick find when I changed my focus. Took a few pics near GZ.
Found on my 2nd day of the 1st Anniversary trip to Adelaide.
Thanks for the cache!

Enjoying our drive thru the forest today
Having left Devil's Elbow we were soon in the vicinity of this cache.
Parked the Roo Mobile just off the track and went for a stroll thru the bush
It wasn't long before we located the target
Time for smoko and then its onto "Scarred for Life"

We are having a great Mother's Day out searching. Took butterfly rubber and dolphin, left spinning thing and helicopter.
A nice little walk and a break from our long drive home to South Australia. TFTC
Staying with relos in Swan Hills so able to spend a wet day around the area, grabbing the caches. We found the track slippery after the 6mm of rain yesterday, not sure how it will be after the 50mm they are predicting today. We enjoyed making our way into the GZ area and found cache ok. The drama began on our way out when the clay road almost became impossible to proceed on. All we wanted to do was move forward but even in Low 4x4, we just slipped and slid from one side of the road to the other. I wasn't even able to turn around and alert a caravaner of the limited posibiliy of him getting to far today. Definitely a dry weather only road. TFTC Swanhilian.
I found this cache after a stroll from the parking area near the bridge
Peace and quiet [^]
Which is odd given that it is the holdiay season [:o]
The nearby recreation reserve is full to the brim with campervans, RV's and caravans.
I guess people don't get out much, even when camping
TFTC in a muggle free place !!

We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the "land down under."
Wonderful walk in amongst all the scar trees. Amazing place.
Thanks for sharing Swanhllian!

What a fantastic route into a cache. Firstly the river road drive then the short walk to the cache. Found a fantastic branch/log structure near the cache. The cache was a relatively easy find after a quick scout around the obvious places. Thanks to Swanhillian again for bringing me here and a great cache.
What an interesting walk, we really enjoyed it. Great hiding spot. Thanks for bringing us here.
Thoroughly enjoyed the walk through the forest, and saw a kangaroo too. Thanks for bringing us here.
Great to be taken on this terrific trail. Boy, the forest is dry and suffering. I must be mad - out here in 39 degree heat, but you've got to get them when you can, eh? Took monkey, left poker chip. I enjoyed this one.

Very dry forest here at the moment, saw a lot of horse riders along the track they must love it here too. tftc
Dry, dry and more dry. Quite a walk on a stinking hot day to a quick find, thankfully. Two roos were startled by us and bounded a few metres away from where they watched our every move. Didn't seem to be threatened by us being around. As we were leaving they went back tho their shady tree still keeping an eye on us. TFTC
I was almost melting on the way from the car to the cache. Good that I didn't have to search long. TFTC!
This was our third attempt at this cache. The signal on the Ipad wasn't that clear. We took the water pistol camera, and left a braclete. TFTF.
A nice little walk through the bush. Thought the children were trying to get us lost, but no problem. TFTC
Found whilst camped near by, fantastic spot. Took texta left pencil and sharpener TFTC

An Epic trip from Mildura to Mount Beauty - This was the second cache for the day, found at 2.30 am on a very cold night. We collected 54 caches for the day. We traveled many side roads, saw many sights, experienced many interesting caches and areas, and the trip took about 18 hours. This was a serious walk for the middle of the night.
One last cache for the day before it got too dark. Wished we'd called in here earlier as its a nice spot and we could have spent more time checking it all out. Crossed the cute little bridge and then walked in....prob about 300m or so? Might check it out another time....in daylight. We left a chook and took a little fork. TFTC
2028. Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1540. After turning off the highway the drive in was full of surprises.
A small flock of Little Lorikeets accompanied us along the track then a number of kangaroos escorted for some distance. There were many birds and animals to keep us company for the drive. SL Tnx Swanhillians.

12 of 12 on the way to Robinvale for work.
A nice sojourn in the forest. I stopped to smell the roses. But then I had to run to avoid the mozzies.

We'd heard good reports about a food joint in Swan Hill so decided to take a weekend off and try out the tucker. Of course, we'd have to find a few caches along the way...
There were so many mozzies that we found ourselves wishing we had the ability to steer them. If we did then we could steer them as they carried us away
Thanks Swanhllian

On our way home from Adelaide. Spotted this & took a detour. Ended up walking rather than driving here as we figured that by the time we found the right path, we could have walked it. Good to get rid of that DVT anyway. Nice spot.
rough ride into cache, but dry weather BIG MOTHER MOSSIES but soon had the prize in hand left puzzle, took grapes TFTC
Towing the camper today so after we encountered a rather tight spot we walked the last 200 metres. Interesting drive and passed a few campers enjoying the solitude. TFTC.
Beautiful day. Think I'll come back for a picnic or a spot of camping one day. Took spider. Left lizard. Enjoyed 4WD track afterwards.
Traveling from California and visiting some caches on the way to my final destination in Adelaide. Great way to start the day. Nice walk to GZ and nature was alive this morning! TFTC SL

We made our approach to GZ via the river road but definitely would not recommend this method in wet weather!
This type of river setting is a perfect place for a geocache and we thank you for putting it on the geo circuit.
Regards,
from Romax.
