Logs
think i found it, but not sure if its the red herring tin others have mentioned
We parked near the water for our picnic lunch, and afterwards I walked to GZ for a look around. I spotted the cache but had no idea how to retrieve it, then saw something which made the task easy. Thanks for a good hide in a great location.
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Deep in concret hole so we photo it.
Found it after being closely investigated because we were clearly up to no good! Beware of golfing muggles in buggies! TFTC
Took me a little while, busy summers day with the sun out and plenty of boats going past. TFTC and the adventure of the search!
Initially found a red herring of a mint tin out of reach; turns out that wasnt the cache anyway Super rainy day today but the log was dry somehow! Signed it and returned as found; TFTC!
Another cache spot on coordinates , took a few minutes to locate having to go fishing for it again . Beware of wasps nest to right of the hide . TFTC Weeo
#1582 Was able to park nearby to this one and wander over together with Turtle. Our search took us a little longer here but i clued onto the hiding pit after not too long. However not before I found the resident wasp nest just nearby, be careful future finders, they’re still there! Thanks WEEO for the hide and for bringing us to this location, never been down here before!
#3421 This was a little trickier than the one down the road but a methodical search soon had the cache in DeadThief’s hand. Thanks WEEO for bringing us to this area.
A sneaky spot, which is well protected by lots of wasps! Eventually cornered the sneaky cache and got the find. Thanks!
Found cache but unable to sign as the tin is rusted shut. This took two attempts to find. Great hide. Tftc
Spotted "Cache" (or so I thought) how on earth do I get that out I thought, grabs metal strip on ground & pokes a bit..., Next minute.. Oh there it is. The other one? Rubbish or decoy... who knows.
TFTC.
TFTC.
Had a look all around the area. Didn't spot the cache, but did spot a huge wasp neat and lots of cache guardians. Might have to come back with some spray?
Found it! Love the sneaky but easy hiding spot! Left a little keychain for geokids big and small
Had a look but with 5 geokids didn't want to get too close to the wasps.
Decided to leave this one for today.

Sadly muggled again but we don't give up. a new log and container placed at the same location
Enjoying a cool afternoon afternoon out with geokid and geomate. TFTC. First one for the day
After doing a circle around the sand bunker twice i ended up spotting it.
A clever way of keeping it out of view of the public.
Thanks.

Finding took a while. Retrieving took even longer. Guess I enjoyed it even though it was quite frustrating. Tftc
On a caching day with geobuddy leslturn8 we came across this cache after a nearby find. I set off in search of the smile and after a bit of a look around I had found the cache, now how to extract it....oh that’s how. Very clever. TFTC
The etrex was accurate, we searched for a few minutes in an area with only limited hiding spots. Then we got visual contact with the cache. We were impressed. A favourite point. TFTC
Found -- 1:35:00 PM -- Thanks for the hunt and Thanks for bringing us here to this location Weeo.
**Cache Condition:** Good.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
**Trackables:** some visited.
**The Cache**
I have come here before looking for this cache in the dark and was unsuccessful. Today was another matter when we made quick work finding. Cache all good. SL and replaced in its little hide'y hole.
**The Day**
OCW *Little Kitten* and *DustyJapserJet*. What a fun day we have had. Such a gorgeous day down in the Shoalhaven today, lovely and warm too. On an errand in Nowra today so the logical thing was to collect some caches too. Nothing overly noteworthy occurred on our adventures.
9 = 9 0 0 [8)] not attempted.

It has drifted quite a way from the water but still has a nautical theme. Clever hide. TFTC.
With all the holiday muggles gone from the area we were able to search and retrieve with relative ease. Tftc
15,450. Heading down to Husky for an event with minniek.
Stopped here for a quick search and find in the rain. A nicely set up cache ! Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.

Thanks for the advice 10011010. Cache recovered and replaced with a new log. All good to go. Please take care not to drop and return cache carefully in the same place.

A fresh map for a fresh year…
Missing caches has been a topic of conversation recently. To rectify this, I manually checked every cache listing within 70km from home – for caches that needed “Needs Maintenance” or “Needs Archive” logs. I found that there are quite a few caches that needed attention from their respective owners or the local community volunteer reviewers. Now one month on, I’ve gone back through my bookmarked list to check on the status of the said caches.
Unfortunately posting a Needs Archived log due to lack of maintenance.
There has been a string of DNF’s since September 2017.
A Needs Maintenance Log was posted on 2nd December.
No response from CO
No action has been taken to maintain this cache.

Any chance the CO can check on this one?
Thank you

Found it and promptly proceeded to drop it in a very inconvenient spot and couldn't get it back out. I won't put a needs maintenance because somebody might be able to retrieve it without owner intervention. I will have another look next time I'm in Nowra and better equipped for the job.
Try to avoid getting hit by overzealous approach shots! Easy to park down by river next to toilets. Lovely riverside spot there. TFTC
