Took us 2 goes, but got it in the end. Really tiny!

10th cache for the day

It's times like these when we regret having such a long team name!

Great spot for a cache

Found today whilst out and about with JungleJodes before going to see Les Mis. A lovely park that I never knew existed even though I Knew friends that live not far from here. A tricky find being so small but we had it within 2 minutes.

Thanks for the cache Kel279

15-Jan-13
Out with sorcysal. This one took us sometime to find once at the location. Lovely little park, strange muggle on the other side of the creek taking photos of a piece of paper, had to make sure not to give ourselves away.

15-Jan-13
Fourth find for the day. Found after realising the size. Nice hide and Thanks for the cache!

Nice hide! tftc

Found it this afternoon with Kbrum. TFTC

29-Dec-12
It took me a while to locate this one as I didn't expect it to be that tiny (my first micro cache). Loved the walk around the park with my wife and the coordinates (including the hint) led us to the right spot. After fiddling a bit to get the log out, I managed to squeeze my name on there. Thanks for the hide.

very small but easy find

11-Dec-12
Grabbed whilst in the area with BernieH and Riddell, they've both previously got this one.. it wasn't quite how they remembered it.. Ian provided cover whilst I made the grab, Bernie walked off providing a distraction to the many dog walking muggles nearby.. Thanks Kel 279 for the cache.. Find #3225

03-Dec-12
Nice park, thanks for bringing me here.

01-Dec-12
Found today while I was doing the CP Park multi. I started off looking in the wrong places and then I realised where my gps was pointing and starting searching the correct object! During the search my writing implement managed to dissolve into 3 parts so once I had located the cache, I then had to locate all the different parts of my writing implement to log the cache. That done I continued on with the CP Park cache.

Thanks for the cache Kel279.

Quick easy find, even though there were muggles near by we dont think they saw us through the foged windows! Tftc.

A nice quick find after work this arvo. I'll have to come back to try the one up the path, I don't think I would get away with prowling around a playground full of children.

Cheers gordo

On the way to Orienteering after work and picking up a few caches on the way, what better to occupy the afternoon.
Quick find, nice nano hide.

With too many muggles at 40-love I headed on here.
Made my approach from the South, which was fun, and thankfully only a trickle in the creek, before sitting at GZ and biding my time.
Finally all the muggles out walking dogs where gone, or walking away from me and I was able to make a quick find.
Found a spot to sign my name before replacing and heading back across the two stepping stones.

Finding a park bench to sit at and have lunch, checked for local caches and, bingo! Was already in the hot seat. Nice park. Thx

12-Oct-12
Lovely walk through the park from nearby cache with xambo4u. GPS was spot on for a quick find. Thanks Kel279

12-Oct-12
Out and about with Echinda44 with a run around the west. This will be our 7th for the day and enoyed the walk in this great park. No people about as it is a little fresh. Thought that we may be in trouble as it looked as if we needed to be on the other side of the creek but the bridge soon came into view. This was a walk up, pick up and move on.
Great park here. Thanks for the cache Kel279
This park was named after the mayor of Footscray who was my next door neighbour for 25 years.
Thanks for bringing me here Kel279

30-Aug-12
A brisk walk at sunset lead me here amongst the dogwalkers. It was quite funny watching many of the owners display total lack of control as their unleashed dogs completely ignored them and ran after every other dog and whatever else took their fancies.
One of those fancies was me as I diligently sat and signed the logbook, regularly shoving away affectionate dogs wanting to slobber all over me. I used to live locally but had never come here and I was pleased to do so now. Thanks and cheers!

Found at 12:30PM
Came back today to sign the log and claim the find on this one. I brought my lunch with me and ate while I retrieved, signed and replaced. not such a bad thing to have to come back to this nice park for another walk.
Thanks Kel279.

21-Aug-12
An unsuccessful lunchtime cache run over the bridge today.
We did find this but it wasn't til then that I realized that I'd left my pen in the car, so I won't claim it as a find. I'll be back, hopefully in the next couple of days to sign and claim this one.
Thanks Kel279, nice park.

18-Aug-12
Took very keen eyes. No pen to mark our find. Clever clue!

05-Aug-12
This one required two efforts as the cache had disappeared well into the hide to the point of being irretrievable without a tool.
I came back with several tools and only after ten minutes did the cache resurface. It is now in a much better location that previous finders remember it being originally placed at.
Thanks Kel279

04-Aug-12
Thanks very much to Feathertop for helping me out on this one and thanks Kel279 for the hide.

# 715. The last find for a cold wet afternoon in failing light. A relatively quick find of the nano variety. Finding an extraction tool took longer. TNLN signed log. Thanks Kel279

16-Jul-12
Another one that I would call a nano rather than a micro. While I was sitting down writing in the log, I was joined by a rather large 4-legged muggle whose owner was walking quite a diverse collection of about half a dozen pooches. The dog put its front paws on the seat and looked me right in the eye - fortunately it had no evil intent and was called away by its owner soon enough.
thanks kel279

Another find for hubby & I. TFTC

01-Jul-12
Found 9.30am
Lots of dogs and owners out today despite the cool breeze. We were lucky to find the cache quite quickly but it still took some time to retreive it with my fat fingers.

TNLNSL
Thanks Kel279

14-Jun-12
Quick find before I leave Vic. TFTC

10-Jun-12
Found @ 17:05 with shogun. It took me a while to find this one even with a hint from shogun. It turned out I was in the right spot just hadn't calibrated my fingers to detect what I was looking for. Made the retrieve in between muggle dog walker traffic (including one particular sour gent with a naughty jack russell).
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and continued on our run.
Thanks for the cache Kel279.

Second quick grab while running the nearby multi, not realising that I'd be here again soon.

Came past here with Burge at 16.25 but even with his knowledge after a prior find, we were unable to locate the cache.

22-May-12
*Late entry*

Cruising around with covert for a few hours and of course it brought us over the western subs.... my old stomping grounds.

As always well placed containers and some of which are in direct view of muggles ..... which of course makes it all the more exciting. Quick find.
Thx kel.

22-May-12
Took a day out with Kellyhuants to go a grab a few caches. This area seems to be an area we have both not cached in. We grabbed this one while looking for a clue. TFTC

11-May-12
THanks for the history about the park and it is certainly a beautiful haven in the middle of hustle and bustle. Plenty of muggles walking their dog here today so I waited for a while.
Wished they would come back though as little fingers were needed. Perservered and finally signed the log.
TFTC in a lovely spot I knew nothing about Kel279

# 2703 @ 15:20

A nice arvo for a walk and grab a couple of caches. Thanks for the history.
A quick find. Thanks Kel279

02-May-12
Headed out on an afternoon cache walk in West Footscray and Seddon, where I lived for over a decade. Still looking sweet. Got here just before the dismissal bell at KPS. Several muggle parents were shuffling along to get their prodigies, I mean progenies. I was happy that they all just ignored me there signing the microlog under a microscope. Thanks for another one, Kel!

24-Apr-12
Too much rain today for the area to be busy. TFTC

09-Apr-12
Found this one at 17:30 on my second attempt ... today. After a 'thorough', unsuccessful search earlier and a miss at it's nor'-western neighbour, upon arriving back I put my hand straight on it Red Face. Go figure Surprised.

A glorious park that was being well utilised by millions of two and four legged muggles, even in the inclement weather.

TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Kel279.

07-Apr-12
Suscoe was on a Melbourne trip with Bushfire today.
We remembered that the good Yogi loved to find Picnic baskets, we did not bring ours today, just our pens and GPs to log this cache.
A nice quick find and signed at 10:55 am.
Thanks to Kel279 for bringing us here.

07-Apr-12
The ageing Bushfire and the suscoe team decided to add a few smilies to their tallies today. The aim was to find any caches that we had not found and knock off a few mysteries that had been worked out over a long period of time but had not been near enough to grab.

This was the sixth cache found today and we are well on our way to have a smiley on all mysteries between Geelong and the West Gate Bridge and beyond.

This was the first cache found in this lovely park that seems to go forever, a quick find while watching the many well behaved dogs and their owners wander around.

Thanks to Kel279 for bringing us here.

06-Apr-12
Lots of muggles here today. Still, managed to spot it, grab it, log it and return it without being noticed. Had to tie my shoelaces twenty or thirty times though!

21-Mar-12
This was a nice a quick find during a lull in the work day. Tftc.

16-Mar-12
found at about 9am and had this lovely park all to myself - tftc Kel279.

12-Mar-12
Great quick find with Kids... Thanks

04-Mar-12
Nobody at the table (very lucky for me, as it was a pretty nice weather and a Sunday), so I had no trouble finding this cache. I'm sure plenty of cachers have been muggled off this one, I'll have to look at the logs in a sec.

29-Feb-12
Today is my birthday (29th Feb) found this one for the Leap year challenge. Wow! Clever camo, I dismissed it at first but upon closer inspection realised it was the cache. Thanks Kel279, you have some very cool caches!!

15-Feb-12
Nice quick find while out with Biggles Bear #1. Thanks to Kel279 for the cache.

15-Feb-12
Found 13:20, in the company of Muzza.

TNLN, CSI=2, thanks Kel279.

06-Feb-12
A tad busy at school emptying time, but lots of dogs walking their keepers! T4TC

05-Feb-12
Found by Mary & David at 0940. Quite a few doggers and joggers starting to appear now. One guy arrived with his lovely beagle and let it off its lead. He was then ignored as the beagle was more interested in meeting the other dogs than going with its owner. Hilarious to watch. Oh, and we found the cache ok too. Our thanks once more to Kel279.

30-Jan-12
Great find. Geokid loved it.
Log book close to full. Fit 1 more find.

29-Jan-12
Log book very close to full.

28-Jan-12
Great hide and name of cache made it easy to find. Came by mid morning but muggle activity prevented find. Went back mid afternoon and found quicklu. Clever.

26-Jan-12
What a great hide! SL. TFTC. Smile

26-Jan-12
Quick find tonight on the way home from work.
As there were people everywhere, I went straight for the clue to eliminate suspicion, and serrupticiously? reached around till I found it.
Love the cammo, unfortunately it's suffering from all the handling.
Thanks again Kel279 for another quality hide.

25-Jan-12
Loved this park and spent quite a while enjoying the walk. Didn't get to look for one of the caches here because of muggles, but I'll get it another time.
The hiding device for this one is showing some wear though.

T4TC Loved it, extra clever hide! Obviously dont know enough about Yogi Bear, as still puzzling over the name and link to cache?

19-Jan-12
I had muggle issues at several caches today but not here, where a quick find was made. The camo is holding up but may not last for ever, thanks Kel279.

18-Jan-12
Nice quick find during an after work run. Tftc sl

16-Jan-12
On my way to replace the cache X, I dropped in on this one and logged it. thanks.

A short walk from across the creek and I was soon at GZ.

A nice little camo it was too.

I sat and signed the log before moving on.

Nice one walked past it. Then wifes curiosity got the better of us. Tftc.

08-Jan-12
Heaps of muggles around today but this did not stop us from finding this cache. An excellent hide which deserves a favourite. Wink SL TFTC Kel279

07-Jan-12
After dismissing the cache when I first saw it, I then explored every square cm of the structure, before finally deciding to explore further. Very nice work, I am impressed! This gets a favorite vote from me. Cheers!

Hello, logging my personal tracker to calculate distance Smile

06-Jan-12
I headed out tonight to meet up with my best mate Marshy (Blacklegend) for one of our huge caching night runs. We had no major plans for the night as we usually do as there had been so many new caches published since we last met up, so we just winged it for the night.
Our last find for the night before heading off for our usual UDL and a bit of a snooze. A nice quick find to finish off the night.
Thanks for the hide.

06-Jan-12
One of 26 on another legendary night caching run with my best mate and caching buddy Marty aka Quasar3671. Nice hide to finish the night off with. My kids love Yogi Bear, and they weren't here for a cache bearing this name....

Ah well, off for our traditional can or two of UDL at the end of the night, and a well earned sleep.

05-Jan-12
Robmc says he missed the point of the name until we were there. I still don't know but then I was very tired when we were there and now I'm many miles away. The cache was found anyway and that's the main thing

05-Jan-12
Completely missed the point of the name - I thought it was one of those bears you see in playgrounds. The true meaning became clear as we approached GZ.
Thanks, Robmc.

5/01/12 7:36 PM Find #731 This one made me smile! Very clever...I'm on a Kel279 caching run this evening and I'm enjoying the stroll about another nice park full of lots of happy dogs. TFTC.

*** First to Find ***
I used to live on Bishop Street so this one was easy to get to. Where are all the other locals hunting first to finds? Love the camo, this is going onto the favourites list. Thanks for the cache, Kel279, keep them coming.
