i'll have another go at this. a fresh look. someone honked at me as i pondered, so i'm guessing i was searching in the right area
Ducked I to do this one on the way back from Currarong. Tried once before, but the area was infested with wasps, and so made a tactical withdrawal. Didn't sign the log, as there was some signs of rust, I was was worried I might not be able to get it back in. TFTC.
Searched and searched but no cache... Very busy intersection thought we were in the right spot but couldn't find it
This was cool, thank you! How funny and super excited I found this before the hubby!!
Nice camo, we thought we had found it in a tube but after poking the inside with a stick 5 cents came out but no cache. TFTC
After having an attempt at this about a week ago we thought it was time to have another go. How we missed it I will never know love the hide and yes very ingenious. Tftc
Awesome hide, took ages to find but eventually jumped out at me! A truly genious cache. TFTC
And then 20 minutes and one car honk later the cache was in hand.
Head slap with a touch of duh..
Thanks for another RiverRuners.

6442 + 809 = 7251. Found during a run down to the Nowra region with Zsazsa7.
We joined the number of cachers who took several laps and spent time twisting and pushing everything it seemes - until the cache was revealed. Very Nice !
Thanks again RiverRuners !
TNLN - TFTC !!

Hmmm, surely there is only one place where this can be? Just a matter of looking up and down. After 3 or 4 laps without spotting it, I started looking hopefully in the grass nearby, but that didn't seem right.
So, one more lap, a couple more tests, and it was in hand.

A few day's caching and lounging around Jervis Bay with Bettyboo3747.
We did wonder where the name of the cache came from - there was only a power pole here, no gates to be seen.
Took us a little while to locate, but it was in front of our noses all along!
Thanks, Robmc.

# 3028. Robmc and I are spending a couple of days at Green Patch and fitting in some caching too. We are visiting further afield today. This was an excellent hide and had us thinking hard and trying all sorts of things. Finally, I said to Rob - this is it - and it was. Excellent camouflage. We signed and returned the log to its hiding spot. We did note it was in need of a new log really soon. Was surprised to see the next finder (15/3) said there was no log to sign. We certainly put it back in. TFTC RiverRuners
Out with biggles58 as a new geocacher, was not able to sign the log as I was not a user but I am logging my first geocaching finds, TFTC, TNLN
On the way home after a great weekend at Currarong, had a quick stop after a bit of searching rhe very clever container was found TFTC
Found with paulyman today after a bit of poking around. The log was completely drenched and soggy - very hard to remove without damaging it. Not sure if it was meant to be a blank log either. TFTC
There was a fairly constant stream of traffic but nothing we couldn't handle. No one even batted an eyelid as we made the find. Found with snorris. Thanks.
I had visited this one in the past with no luck, but with a few more caches under my belt I was able to spot something out of place and make a fairly quick find today. Nice work on the container, but I think you might want to do a little maintenance as it looks like things have come a bit unstuck in the heat. TFTC!
Went on a caching trip to celebrate Geoson NationalSteel's birthday.
NS had previously failed to find this one, so we had a look on the way home. He found it very quickly this time.

Having problems with micros I recently decided not to look for those hidden via this site then decided to look for ones within 40 clicks of home. This was the first for an overcast day & my GPSr took me to an object which I normally avoid. Used PAF to confirm GZ & even got a specific hint as to what to look for. Despite this couldn't come up with the goods. I should have copied a previous log. Headed off glumly to my next micro, wondering whether I should reconsider my decision. Thanks.
Trust the geowifey to find it straight away! I swear she must be part bloodhound....this wouldve taken me a long while! TFTC this is ingenious!
Tricky! Had to get help from a previous finder. Could not sign log, too hard to extract. Tftc
I was first looking at the gate before realising I was in the wrong place. I was afraid to touch anything. But then decided to risk it. Bingo. Sneaky! The log needs replacing.

Very clever hide considering the lack of possibilities. Difficult to look nonchalant in such an exposed, busy spot. A challenge. TFTC.
Looked and looked then finally I saw it, just had to be there but on such a structure was not sure what to touch without causing problems.

This whole thing didn't make sense... There was no gate at GZ, and as far as I can tell, no cache either... Unless there is some super-cool container type that I have not come across before, this cache is missing... I recon, it's worth a check.
This took longer than we expected because I would have thought nobody would place a cache on that sort of object.
Cheers

On a little cacherun this morning towards Currarong, this was a must stop. It has been a while since I saw a container like this, so I actually had to look twice to spot it!

Out with Just a cacher on a run down to the coast for a weekend's caching to get away from the Canberra cold.
Quickly spotted and grabbed on a muggle free morning search.
Thanks for the cache RiverRunners.

Took a few minutes but we found this cleverly camoed cache. Thanks RiverRuners.
Out for the weekend, caching. We managed to get away without the teenager for once, so we decided to make the most of it!
Thanks for bringing us here, RiverRuners!

Fantastic cache. Kept looking and looking but did not see.
You really have to look and analyse. Have been told about these.
this is the first I have seen. TFTC

A very sneaky and devious hide that we really loved.
Very well engineered.
Many thanks for the challenge RiverRuners.

Congratulations on another sneaky hide. I hesitated but persistence a clue from a friend were required to be successful (at last) TFTC river tuners
Fantastic, clever and ingenious cache. No further hints here as that would spoil the find. We were very happy to be the first in the new log. Many thanks for a very clever cache. JenneG and Budgy.
No luck with this one - beaten by camo I suspect. GPS kept telling me either to stand in the middle of nowhere or to go over to something I didn't want to be caught messing about with. So, packed it in after only a few minutes. TFTC anyway, interesting history!
Found it with Noisy360 very tricky... Same as huntergatherers we were just about to give up...
Confession: I've driven past here many times since this cache was published, but never stopped. Today, after nearly 7 weeks without a find, I thought it was time to grab it. But not as easy as I was hoping. After 5 minutes I still hadn't spotted it, then, just as I was about to give up I stumbled upon it. Very clever. Thanks RiverRuners. Log is in pretty poor condition. Signed as 'THG' to save space.
After possibly the fifth or sixth visit we finally managed to discover this tricky, very well hidden micro. A favourite!
I wasn't planing on doing this one but it was recommended to me as a worthy find.
Took a few minutes to locate this nice little hide.

Great camo..very tricky..in need of a new log though..damp and smudged..hard to write on>>TFTC RiverRuners
Well The Rats found a spider, then I found a spider. Then eventually he found the cache. A sneaky little one, but there was one tell-tale sign that eventually gave it away!

Down in Nowra this morning with Hoojar we were able to grab a couple of local caches.
This was a tricky little hide that had us searching for while. Eventually after disturbing the huntsman spider we found the right hiding spot.
Thanks

Well that is a find for 29th of February, which was good as I wasn't dressed for the Rocket . Despite the heavy rain, I didn't have to get wet, relying on the ability of the Urban Assault Vehicle to get me very close to GZ. A very clever micro was a bonus, though it didn't elude me for very long. Thanks for the cache and the history RiverRuners.
Rated: for Overall Experience
The camo is highly affective here and if it had teeth...... Well done. Thank for a brilliant cache RiverRuners
Very fortunate I was out caching with J+J.au and found this with them, very hard to pick. Thanks J+J and RiverRunners
Very sneaky hide. I know the cache owner was watching......I'm sure I provided the afternoon's entertainment.....it took a while! TFTC, the history and the photo.....very interesting.
Well I hate to say I couldn't find a cache but here it is. Still no one had logged it this morning so off we go to claim a FTF. As usual the most obvious place revealed nothing so the search became wider and wider to the point of being 40 metres away from GZ. It did not look like there had been any other visitors yet but unfortunately I had to go to work. So we will be back another day.
WOW...**FTF** more than 24 hrs after publication! After finding GZ, I thought I was on the right track, and a quick call to the CO confirmed it, (without giving any hints away!) A 2nd look revealed the cache quickly, then it was back through the mud!
