Unfortunately I cannot see any information that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. Therefore as advised previously, the cache is being de-listed (Archived) to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

The [**Geocache Maintenance guideline**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains what needs to happen with a Disable cache.

Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center article [**here**](http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70).

If you wish to contact me please send an email via my profile - [**Bunjil**,](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.

I’ve developed a style of caching recently I call “pre-dawn prowling” where I head off with the geodog on a Saturday morning while the rest of the house still sleeps. It’s fun, because the first cache runs like a night cache, but then it gets light!

This was the second of four on a beautiful Autumn morning. It was light by now, and although I scoured the area (including using my trusty selfie camera to investigate numerous spots) today it was a no show for me!

05-May-18
Swung and missed. Batter is out.
Will replace

02-May-18
Couldn't find it today

29-Apr-18
No game today but there was heavy machinery around and we couldn't find the cache, despite the clue.

20-Jan-18
Bah, a game in full progress complete with familial spectators with little toddlers. No chance of simply arriving and doing the business unnoticed. I am now determined to put this one to rest. I'll be back to knock off the nearby multis and this one.

15-Jan-18
Couldn't get to this one because of a yappy dog on the start of my walk and then baseball players who were getting ready to play at the end of my walk. Next time I'm in the area for some exercise I'll start from this one rather than You Caching too #89.

Found in Monson MA
2 Hours from Fenway Park
Visited Warrandyte National Park before taking a rest in a cache.

I also marked "Salty Bee" as being stored in this cache.
However, he is actually in Baseball#2.

OCW Mrs A and staying just across the way in the Tourist Park. Nice day for a walk and to attempt some of this series. This one took a few moments of head scratching and wandering about until smelled a rat. After that we signed the log and and back it went. Visited a TB. TFTC BaLuke. F.P.

23-Jun-17
OCW Aries44 doing some of the series on foot. He has done most of the gabbing in his logs so I won't say much Smile. However really enjoying the series. TFTC BaLuke.

#830 - 12.45am
You know those days when the geo-sense is tingling and finding caches just seems so effortless?
No, me either!! Lol.
I arrived on scene in a bit of a rush. I wanted to make this find before midnight which meant I only had 10 min to find it. A quick assessment lead to a natural conclusion and I was then busily working through the possibilities. But over half an hour later I was still empty handed...
I paused for a moment and went over the info again. Oh nooooooo! I realised where I went wrong.
Seconds later I turned away from my initial anti-antipodean conclusion and found what I was looking for.
It's amazing what happens when you read the cache description PROPERLY!
Thanks Baluke for your clever and well constructed hide.
I've never played baseball here but I have played 'Ultimate' on this field.

"SAVE FERRIS!!!!"

15-Apr-17
Dad and 12yo grabbed this little fellow while in the area. But we couldn't get the log from the container as we have no tool. And the lid won't screw back on either.

Will need to take this one home and fix it up, should be right to go again sometime on Sunday 16th. Sorry Baluke, hopefully a fave point will make things all right.

Update - all fixed now, had to trim the log a little.

Looks like we picked the wrong day to get this. Let us know when it is back online

Wow what a search! We got the find by narrowing in on the coordinates. Thanks for the cache Smile

14-Jan-17
Wow! Almost gave up the pipedream of finding this one. After a solid 20-30mins searching anything and everything with Bethusala, we hit a home run and found the bugger. Well hidden. TFTC!

Nice quick find on Xmas morning

Found it the other day with calbob, just forget to log it. Thanks Baluke it really helps me get the experience I need. It was an amazing hide.

!!!!!

This was one that I first tried to find a year ago when I had just started caching. I was too unexperienced to spot anything then, and over the year I have swung by a few times, but it has either been too busy or a truck has been parked there using the water hydrant. The truck was there again today, so I decided to get a few others that have been on my hitlist for a while. I then swung back around on my way home and using the knowledge gained over the year started to look again.

I still couldn't find it but as I sat back and regathered myself I suddenly saw something out of place and yep! realised that it was the cache, and saw how it was easily missed earlier.

TFTC (and a favourite from me, if only for the fact that I constantly had a part of brain ticking over this puzzle and now it can rest Smile )

29-Oct-16
Love this hide! I thought I knew what I was looking for from the hint, but it wasn't until I moved to a different angle that I was able to find the cache. No one around today, thanks

Out for a day geocaching with jeckleberryandtedd. She had found this previously so it was a quick stop for me to make a find after two previous unsuccessful searches.
Thanks baluke for this cache.

Amazing hiding place! Great job to the person who hid this- very creative.

31-Jul-16
At long last I can say I found this cache! We made the journey by bike to this cache, on this lovely sunny afternoon. After looking for a few minutes we made the find, signed the log and wondered how we could miss it on all the other attempts!! Thank you very much to Geo_ruby14 for the incredibly helpful hints...

and thanks baluke for an excellent hide Smile

Found it

11-Jun-16
I have been looking for this geocache for months. Ages. Messaging people asking people but still no luck. Until we messages Promontry and he gave us some tips and hints. It was 9pm and we decided to walk down to this cache (as we live close) to find it. This was my 7th time trying to find it. We stood there looking and had no idea until my brother (geosam) found this amazing cache. Im so glad we found it.

Many, many thanks to promontry.
TFTC. P.s found with jg9172

Late night grab with Geo_ruby14 & GeoSam. What a clever cache. Been looking for this one for some time so PMd previous finder for a wee hint, many thanks Promontory. Armed with the hint GeoSam once again made the difficult find, with the assistance of Geo_ruby14. Signed and returned as found. Nice one TFTC

Quick find very wet

12-May-16
Well done mr baluke! This was a corker of a cache! We looked for a long time and I poked into all manner of things ... When we found it we were very impressed by the ingenuity. We've probably done 850 unique caches between us and neither one had seen this particular hide. So this is number one? We took up this part of the trail after a couple of GJMMELB ones just close by.

12-May-16
Lots of work going on at this facility. Thankfully the work men were far enough away and busy enough that they didn't pay any attention to us crazy ladies scratching around on the floor, staring at trees and putting our hands in drainage holes. This took a while to find and I'm actually not even sure how vividrogers did find it. I was actually participating in this search with 100% concentration, unlike the rest of the walk to this point, and I was having no luck. The GPS kept leading us back to a certain spot and after converging on that spot a number of times vividrogers must have come at it from a different angle and says "what's this?". Wow, this is a very nicely hidden cache. Deserves a fave point from me and TP. Although, TP was rather miffed that he wasn't getting any paparazzi attention here so he cracked it and went sticking his nose into other animals homes....

06-May-16
Took us a while ... Very sneaky!

25-Apr-16
All quiet here on ANZAC day morning and the GPSr indicated a particular spot, but no obvious cache. After looking around for a bit we spotted something and the well hidden cache was revealed. A clever hide that we haven't seen before so worth a FP from us. TFTC baluke.

23-Apr-16
Muggle husband playing ball today. Had to check out the 'Find Nearby Geocaches' function on my app.
So after about five innings, myself and little Ruverbug had a quick squiz. Too much attention on what we were doing. Waited for the game to finish and Muggle husband and little Ruverbug played catch while I made the find.

Today was a busy day around the Yarra, cycling almost 20km with a great team of caching mates.
With several of us looking the caches along the way were found quite quickly, giving us more time to admire the river and its environs. The logs were generally signed as "Team Yarra Expedition 4" to save space.
We haven't reached the source of the Yarra, but finally we're at the source of this baseball series Smile. We had quite a bit of fun around here, recapping the day's adventures while finding the tricky hide.
Thanks for all the work placing these series along the Yarra, Baluke - they've given us hours of fun and enjoyment.

Found during a wonderful day of riding with the Yarra Expedition pt4.
Nice! Cheers! Cool

05-Mar-16
Out on the Yarra Expedition with a whole bunch of crazy bike riders searching the banks of the Yarra and the surrounding streets for some great caches and some history along the way. This is stage #4 of our mission to ride from one end of the Yarra to the other and the scenery is awesome and the effort into some of the caches is second to none ....
Big effort put into these caches and a great series that many of us enjoyed from start to finish...
A fav for your effort and bringing us all to a great place to ride our bikes and grab some caches...
TFTC

05-Mar-16
Having missed out on the previous Yarra Expeditions due to no Treddlies Jnr and I decided to go along for the ride , a great day out to meet other well known cachers and do some fun finds in an area I'm not Familiar with ,will be back for a more casual ride

05-Mar-16
Found this cache as part of the Yarra Expedition Part 4, Westerfolds to Warrandyte. A great turnout, awesome bike ride and sunny day. We loved bashing around on the mountain bikes and all the entertainment we had from the lads stirring each other all day. A massive thanks for the cache placements and making this possible!

A fave from me for the whole series, thanks for the urban adventure!

05-Mar-16
Found during The Yarra Expedition Pt 4.
Riding a bicycle gives a whole new perspective to this wonderful city and it's waterways.
A friendly bunch of riders, lots of laughs today, particularly here.
I managed to make the find here, without too much trouble.
*Is that sunburn or are you blushing Kelly?*
Many great caches found and a favourite point for the series.
Thanks for all of the caches baluke.

05-Mar-16
Today I found myself riding along the beautiful Yarra river. I was taking part in the event "Yarra Expedition 4 " . With magnificent weather and a great bunch of fellow cachers, it was the perfect mix for an awesome ride. There was a nice variety of cache containers and some clever hides as well. A very enjoyable day was had by all. TFTC baluke Smile

05-Mar-16
Today we joined The Yarra Expedition Pt4 bike ride from Westerfolds Park to Warrandyte State Park with a great bunch of cachers to grab closeby caches while enjoying the scenic views along this diverse river and not to mention having heaps of fun and laughs as well.
**Thanks for the series baluke**.

05-Mar-16
Out with the Yarra expedition 4 today, great ride and some great caches while riding through some impressive scenery and having some laughs along the way this was number 32 for the day TFTC.

**Find #: 4464**
**Time: 2:26 pm**
**Date: Sat 5 Mar 2016**
This cache was found during the Yarra Expedition #4 organised by Jacko83. It was a great day, and we had a large number of attendees who all enjoyed it immensely. For most caches there will only be one entry in the log book, Yarra Exped#4 or similar as there were too many of us to all sign.
NoWorries was the man with the golden fingers on this occasion, and the find was in the bag.
Well hidden.
**Thanks for placing this cache baluke**

After reading a lot of DNF's, was a little worried about this one. Looked where we thought it would be, but nothing. Luckily, Benr has a keener eye than me and cache was soon logged. Tftc.

Happy Australia day!!!!
Out and about with geo buddy Happy Pants on this great public holiday. Such a great day to be out Caching. Can't wait to come back and do more of this series, but just passing by today. Very clever hide. Did take a few minutes before we had the find.
Cheers for the cool cache.

26-Jan-16
Having seen that his was Unfound for some time the clan was determined to find the hide. Back and forth we walked, many places did we search, many many spiders did we find. Fantastic hide that once seen can never be unseen. Log signed tftc

20-Nov-15
Was up this way for work so why not get a cache or 2. Anyway after re calibrating my gpsr the little rascal came into view. Thanks for the cache and the challenge.

03-Nov-15
After a DNF last time we were in the area and a game was on, today was a lot quieter. It took as a while, but once we considered ALL the information, and thought a little laterally, we soon made the find. Tftc!!

13-Sep-15
I didn't 'get' this one...

22-Aug-15
Was there early morning, pre game, one person was setting the place up for a baseball game.

22-Aug-15
It was such a beautiful day so I just had to go out and grab a few caches. There was a game on today so I managed to make a quick retrieval whilst a player was trying to steal home. TFTC.

After doing the back end of this series a few weeks ago, TinkerTraveller and I headed of to complete #1-#9. This one stumped us for a while but once found we wondered how we had missed it. Deserves a favourite point from me. Thanks.

04-Aug-15
Out today with Jeckleberryandtedd, hoping to collect smileys on the rest of the baseball series by baluke.

Searched high and low, and all around, including up the drainpipe lol. After changing tactic, jeckleberryandtedd and I decided a more systematic approach was needed and it as only when standing back the penny dropped and we had our hands on the little rodent.

A clever hide, thanks baluke.

07-Jul-15
Walking up to gz for cache #9 today, I thought I had it sussed, dead easy. Hmm, well that was the theory, anyway. So after coming up empty handed, and looking around me, I checked the hint. Not much the wiser I started a more thorough search and felt something odd, Aha, a few seconds later I had the little blighter in hand. Well done, very clever hide, I have not seen that particular method before. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.

The hint misled us a bit

26-Jun-15
This took a few minutes to find. We had a careful look at the obvious locations without luck until the hint helped locate the tail. Clever hide!

24-Jun-15
A day off school. Out with friends and walking the dog.

Tried this first with no success. Did a loop getting another 9 and back to our start position. Searched and searched until I read the size and the rather cryptic clue again. It all made sense and a quick find.

23-Jun-15
I am logging this old find I made with Legomango9. He now wants me to create my own separate account.

21-Jun-15
We thought we would go for a drive on a chilly Sunday morning, and boy was it chilly. We have tried for this cache a couple of times before but every time we had been here there was a match in progress. This time we had the place to our self so quickly started a search. With the missus chasing after the youngest as he ran all over the place, it gave Darcy and I time to look in every spot we thought it would be with no luck. I took a step back and something caught my eye. I directed Darcy in the direction and she had it in her hand seconds later.

Thanks BaLuke for the cache, our 500th cache as well.

19-Jun-15
I don't really know this area as I live on the other side of the city but I had the day off today and thought I might go for a drive to somewhere different to look for some caches. It seems like there is a high density of hides out this way so I pointed the car in the general direction and set off. It turns out I selected a beautiful area to spend some time caching with plenty of well maintained walks and plenty of animal life around to keep me company. I will have to make sure I make my way back here soon to pick up some more after finding 16 for the day before time caught up with me.

I played baseball for 15 years as a child and into my mid twenties, what a great sport! Even though time is much harder to come by these days I still would like to get back into it before I'm too old. If I lived anywhere nearby I would love to come and watch a game here.

A really clever and well thought out hide here. After floundering around I resorted to the clue and after initially scratching my head it dawned on me and I was soon signing the log. A great hide and a definite favourite for me. Thanks for the cache Baluke

17-Jun-15
Rats love drainpipes indeed. Some quiet night caching for me. TFTC

08-Jun-15
Many thanks to the queen for time to look, but on this day we didn't manage to find the cache.

06-Jun-15
No idea. Hint didn't help.

30-May-15
Don't you hate that! You write a whole log and the internet dies! Anyway, take 2.

Found it! I decided to find 10 caches today and this was one of them, the last one, in the dark and on the way home from piano. When I arrived at GZ, players were warming up of a game so I didn't really look for the cache and walked on to #2. I came back, in the dark and had the whole place to myself. After checking a couple of spots and looking high and low, I spotted something in the torch light and there it was! Great hide! TFTC and thanks for the series. I have learned a bit about baseball but I still prefer cricket. I notice in baseball you only get one chance to hit the ball. In cricket you can bat the whole day if you are good enough! Cheers! WinkSmile Oh, who won the game today? The Dragons??

23-May-15
Was just about to give up when geomum located this one

23-May-15
Took a while to find. Very tricky as baseball game was on.

23-May-15
Found with jitterj and sezzaprice

17-May-15
Another beautiful autumn day too good to stay home and miss, so a nice drive out to Warrandyte, a walk around Pound Bend, some lunch, some shops and some more exploring. This was an easy stop on the way back, although the cache was not so easy, even with the hint. TFTC.

21-Apr-15
We started working through the baseball series of caches a few weeks ago, heading out from Tikalara park. That left a couple of caches on the east side undiscovered. Driving past Deep Creek Reserve today, I saw an opportunity to log a quick find and add to our list of baseball caches. Did I say quick find? This is tricky, and like no other cache we've found to date! Immensely satisfying find after about 20 minutes of wandering about trying this and that. Great cache! Thanks Smile

19-Apr-15
Did not find this one. Spent his know how long looking for it. Either I'm bad at looking or it may have been taken... Looked with roshimitsu

19-Apr-15
No luck with this one. Looked twice, but couldn't come up with anything. Hopefully when we come back we'll get it.

28-Mar-15
Was in a hurry, so couldn't hang around for an extended search!!

28-Mar-15
Found on a ride from the Baseball diamond to Heidelberg. First for the day and it was a clever hide. Took a little while to spot what was out of place. TFTC

16-Mar-15
Not much luck today, but frmen1 & I were pressed for time

16-Mar-15
We had a few hours whilst up from the country and liked the look of this series of caches. Thanks very much for placing them.
Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to fully explore for this one and couldn't find it.

09-Mar-15
Found with fuzzej, ryanofoz & mrstyrrell

09-Mar-15
Good find with fuzzej, ryanofoz and jesshurdle Smile great hiding spot

09-Mar-15
This one took us a little longer, a little misled by the hint. Eventually I had the the right idea but Fuzzej made the find. Nice hide.
