I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.

Hi bumandworkerThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler

#12,109. I am on a week of leave and brought our car across on the Cook Strait ferry early this morning. Will spend the morning doing Picton caches and afternoon doing Blenheim caches. Eventually heading south to Christchurch. Lovely sunny summers day. I initially headed off in the wrong direction but soon realised my mistake and entered the trees. I checked a few areas, read the hint and some recent logs. The cache was found soon after. It is now at ground level but well covered. Signed the logbook and returned the cache as found. Thanks b&w for hiding the cache here.

16-Jan-23
Last cache of the day and probably also on the South Island.
Easy to find, thanks to the log of PaoloB72.
Thank you for the cache

Bumblebee day again. I had been thinking during the week that a loop round Queen Charlotte was due again. It is still a mess after the recent couple of weather events so I knew it would be a stop-start mission. Might as well cache along the way. This was the first find but second stop after a DNF at the farm. I knew this one would still be here and it was, almost underground. I replaced it with a lump of log on top, and with some newer paper.

12-Dec-22
No luck here, as I just arrived on the South Island. 4 for 7 today...

Since my original plan of being in Auckland this long weekend is not possible, I decided to head South for a couple of days. Took the ferry from Wellington yesterday morning, picked up a cheap rental, and off I went. I was targeting some specific caches for a personal goal as well as some fun mystery solves and some just 'cos. This was one of them.
Found buried in the centre of the remains of the tree stump. Log paper is not in great shape, but all good otherwise. TFTC

08-Oct-21
Tree has now been removed. May need checking.

Lovely spot and nice quick find thx.

I was in charge of directions and MapleroseNZ was in charge of driving. She stopped at the sign even though I said my phone still had us 200m away. She checked her phone and it agreed. So we carried on down the road to a bigger welcome.
I was feeling generous so I let her bush bash whilst I complained about having cold wet feet (I'm turning into an Aucklander more every day, leaving my Pennine roots behind).

Vacations 2019 - Road trip trough New Zealand
With Geoesposa, this was my 50th anniversary. 16 days, 4200Kms and a few hundreds smilles after, i was sure i saw nothing....

I liked everything, the friendly and civilized people, the way the country works, the roads and especially the natural beauty of New Zealand.
I fell in love....
I decided to go back in 5 years, I easily see myself living my last days somewhere lost in any stunning scenery of this wonderful country.

With the itinerary studied at home, the caches were the ones that were in the chosen places, and a few used to stretch the legs. It was decidedly not the most important on this trip. Of all the visited, only half a dozen did not appear, all being in good health except two or three.

I will use this generic log, not for disrespect of the owners, but due to the amount of caches visited. Here the majority of caches serve to show something beautiful (as it should be), not giving importance to the container.

My thanks to all the ownwers who, allied to the natural beauty of the country, have made this vacation unforgettable.

A planned geocaching trip with specific targets in mind.
1: The final 2 caches to fill my D/T grid
2: The last 5 caches available (all in the South Island) to meet the NZ Jasmer challenge GC4R9Z6
3: Get as many caches as possible in a day (Solo)
I had no timetable and only a vague route (Christchurch - Dunedin- Invercargill). So after 20 days of sleeping in my tent/car I arrived home having traveled 4500km and visited some interesting places. Met some great people. I had found over 650 caches. That was a lot of park. Jump out out. Find cache sign and return. Then on to the next. All this done by myself. Also attended an event and had 2 FTF
Mission 1 and 2 were achieved and I had a best day of 153 caches. All this done by myself.
Day 3 Picton to Waikari 36 caches found including 1 of the targets. This was the first for the day as I left town. Thank you for the placement.

21-Feb-19
On a geocaching adventure around the country with myself, my car and my tent. Drove almost 4000km and collected 170 caches over a week of roadtripping, camping and seeing the beautiful sights of New Zealand. Lots of fun and so many great caches were found, as well as a lot of DNF's. Apologies for copy paste post. Thank you to all cache owners. Day ten driving from Waikawa to Hamilton. Thank you for the cache

16-Dec-18
On our 18th day in New Zealand we travelled from Kaikoura to Picton. It was a short distance and therefore we had ample time for a number of caches along the route. The route itself was very interesting, particularly in the first part where we could still see the damages from the earthquake and the process of making the routes new. Due to that fact certain caches which we wanted to do were still not able to get. Due to the many caches we searched we do more or less one log for all. Thanks to all the cache owners to provide and maintain all these. Those we looked for we could all find well, meaning also that we checked beforehand and those that were not found recently we left out. Some sheep were looking at us searching for the cache and this attracted the farmer. So we had a nice little chat with him. TFTC and greetings from Switzerland

We were heading towards Blenheim today, this was our first stop along the way. We were surprised at the speed of the cars zooming along the road - we had parked and had to cross the road - this took a bit of careful timing. We headed over to what we thought was GZ (by the name) but nope time to look at the phone and head towards GZ. GK made an instant find once we were in the correct place. Thanks for placing this cache and for our latest smilie

I'ive started my beautiful trip of the South Island in Christchurch, I've visited many beautiful locations. I've travelled via Lake Tapeko, from Dunedin to the most southern part of Bluff. I've then continued with a cruise in Milford Sound and then back to Queenstown.
From there on I've visited Wanaka and the Haast pass to the Franz Josef glacier. I went all the way up to the Abel Tasman NP. Richmond und Nelson as the sonnierst cities were on my list as well.
I've soon reached the east coast in Picton and Blenheim.
After a couple of days, I've then travelled back to Christchurch via Kaikoura.
I've spent a couple of days in Christchurch and it's surroundings.
I've visited many geological sites and have found many caches along the way.
I've travelled 3500km and have experienced so much.
Thank you to all the owners

My last cache on the South Island and i'm a bit sad, that i have to leave again. I had a great time here on my vacation, driving down to Invercargill on the west coast and then back up via Christchurch. I experienced and saw many things and these are good and nice memories. But all good things must come to an end, and who knows, whats waiting for me in the north...
The cache was found quickly and the log had my name in it now.
Thank you very much for placing and maintaining this small treasure

***No muggles were harmed while searching, finding and logging this cache...***
