Second try for us. This time we found wp1. For other commenters you dont need to enter the garden. Thinking we now new what to look for we headed to wp2 and 3 but once again no luck. Maybe the gps gremlins got us again. Tried guestimating final gz based on what we had. one effort did not turn up anything useful and the other was well out of the park. Back to the drawing board for us I think.
Not sure how I missed the archive message. Probably because I didn't update the cache on my phone. Anyway explains why we did not find it
GZ has gone missing again after being moved, and one of the WPs was missing (but there were no fences around any of them)... I have given up trying to maintain this one, so with regret, I am archiving it.
All I want for Christmas is a multi with clearer instructions. Visited all 3 waypoints and found things that could be taken for a clue but never anything that gave us the room clue and all a bit of a guess really. Nothing really stood out and shouted "I am the answer". Plus a check total of 17 was not close to the numbers we had. Walked it from the wp1 location to wp3 and back again and other than 1 sticker in a spot, we found nothing to give us any more clues. Wp1 is fenced off and I am concerned that people will climb over into the garden. I think there is a need for a little more direction in this multi. Nice spot though. Loads of ducks with their babies which was awesome! Tftc
A little while back we visited this one during our Bendigo trip with the family.
This was our last stop before heading home. I had a good look at all 3 waypoints but not really sure what I was looking for. In particular, with WP2, there appeared to be nothing near GZ that would be described as a clue. I think I got WP1.

Due to this one going missing (someone placed a pretty painted rock in its place!), ground zero has been moved to a new location.
The rooms have been renumbered and the solution changed. All other waypoints were good and have not been moved.

We found waypoints 1 and 3 and were able to work out the final by doing some math thanks to the hint. At G.Z we searched everywhere likely and unlikely to no avail. Even with a previous finder there for support we just couldn't find what we were after. It may have disappeared. We did find painted rocks for this new rock craze at one waypoint and GZ.
Alas an DNF for us today. We got WP1 but due to intense muggle activity at WP2 and 3 we were not able to complete. We will be back again another day to have another crack. TFTDNF Geogetters.
Attempted the clues and did the calculations but came up blank. Sat down and after some maths and a little guess work came up with the only possible combination. However failed to find the cache. Checked with a friend who confirmed we had the correct location. Appears to have been muggled
After being given a couple of useful clues by a geo-friend, it was back to the Gardens this morning to complete the whodunnit! The gardens were completely empty this early, so tasks were completed quickly and SL at 9.12am. TFTC and the fun Geogetters. #4088
At this stage we will have to add our DNF to the list. We found WP1 quickly and easily, but the other two waypoints eluded us completely. The weather was quite warm and the many mosquitoes were big enough to carry us away, so eventually we had to admit defeat. We are here for a few days, so we may be tempted to try again. Cluedo is one of our favourite board games, so disappointed we can't add a smiley face to this one. Thanks for the (mostly) enjoyable walk around the Botanical Gardens Geogetters - they are in tiptop condition.
Gave it s good go, but with limited time and a fading battery, decided I might have to leave this one for my next visit. Enjoyed the gardens, however, apart from the mozzies!
Spent ages at WP2 and then went to WP3 and nothing obvious there either. To end on a positive we found WP1. With time an enemy today, this will have to wait for another time unfortunately.
Away on a geocache weekend to Bendigo with diana8 and JulesC21. Our goal is to find 30 multis in the month of June. This was number 24 for the weekend and number 1 for Monday.
This one was out of our way, in the wrong direction from where we needed to head. However it sounded quite interesting, so we decided to get off to an early start and make an attempt. It was a very crisp clear morning and we needed to rug up. Despite the cold there were a few people in the garden, going for a stroll and/or enjoying the gardens.
At the first WP, we had the clue in hand quickly. The second was trickier and we left thiking we found the info we needed. at WP3, which we alway found reasonably quickly, we realised that a return to WP2 was needed. We had a more thorough search when JulesC21 made a good find for the clue.
Now armed with the info needed to locate the cache, we marched off and soon had the cache in hand. It was a lot of fun so TFTC Geogetters!

First cache on third and final day of a geocaching roadtrip with mistmermagee and julesc21. What a great way to start the day! We found WP1 quickly enough, but couldn't find WP2 after a bit of a search so went on to WP3. This one we found fairly quickly and while I would have been happy enough to guess the necessary number for WP2, julesc21 insisted on going back to find it. After a more thorough search she eventually found the very carefully hidden clue - I'm still very impressed at the find! Then it was on to the final, which we found fairly easily. Great cache, loved the clues, +1 FP! TFTC
On day 3 of a geocaching adventure with diana8 and mistermagee, this was our first stop for the morning. As a Cluedo fan I was looking forward to this one and it did not disappoint. Excellent hide for the second location - took us two attempts to find what we were after. And despite being a very cold morning I enjoyed the walk around the gardens. TFTC.
Found with KazyT..number 4 for the day..found all WP..number 2 was especially tricky..nice touch with WP 3..very clever..TFTC..
It took a few visits to finally nab this one. The first time I attempted it last November I was unable to find WP1. Moving on to WP2, there was a wedding party celebrating not too far away making it difficult to search without drawing attention to myself. Moving on to WP3 I found myself very near a swimming pool full of children taking advantage of the warmer weather, and being alone, I found it uncomfortable lurking there too long, so I left disappointed and empty-handed.
On the second visit I was celebrating my 50th birthday with kazba16, jtnsilo and several other muggle friends. As a group we were far more successful finding 2 out of the 3 clues. However because we failed to find the clue at WP2 and with the weather being so hot that day, we gave up at that point and went our separate ways. It was only from the comfort of home that I soon realized we didn't actually need to find the missing clue to work out the final coordinates. Doh!
So... kazba16 and jtnsilo returned to make the find shortly after. I wasn't able to join them but was surprised to hear they failed to find it and it became clear that the cache had been muggled. So we wouldn't have found it even if we had have continued on before.
Happy to hear that the cache had been replaced not too long ago, I finally got round to returning for a third time this evening after work. The temperature was still quite hot after 6pm and there was a couple not too far away from GZ, but I made the find without needing to spend too much time poking around. Thanks for the hunt and the time spent creating this multi Geogetters. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it was fun to find the clues with other teams. Thanks too for replacing the cache so that I was able to make the final find this evening!

Found it! Thank you for replacing the cache. A group of us worked this out a short time ago but unfortunately the cache was MIA. Came here tonight after the Kangaroo Flat 2016 Leap Day Event and signed the new log. Thank you for the cache Geogetters
We almost aborted this one with many muggles nearby but we managed to get in and out un-noticed.
In Bendigo just for the afternoon/evening, we made sure to grab a few caches on our travels around town. Found with boo09 & becca85. TFTC

In Bendigo for my god-daughters birthday, we made sure to grab a few caches. We've exhausted all within a 30-40 minute drive of home so always make time when we're out and about. We might fill our 366 one day!
We had visited this one before with no luck but today had better luck. Unfortunately GZ was surrounded by some sort of very formal event. We loitered for a bit, wondering if we could wander over then decided that we would send the kids. Off they went and made a nice quick find, bringing it over for me to sign before we sent them back to replace. All without raising any suspicion from the party-goers. The stealth is strong in these ones!

Glad to see this cache back jn action , I was out here today for work so called in and completed the find . Thanks for the entire cache geogetters. We had fun doing this one even though we didn't get it completed the first time as a group. First to sign replacement log! TFTp
After a second and a third visit in a group to get the final on this one but failing to come up with the goods I called by today with TOTT and having been assured that we had been in the correct spot, I had a closer inspection this morning, but came up empty handed again. might be missing in action.
So after struggling on this cache for awhile thinking we just were never going to get it, 6 months later being more determined. We came back and were another clue closer- but still had one left which we just could not find! Turns out where we were searching was the stupid carpark wpt NO IDEA how we stuffed that up! (insert red embarrassed faced here) as soon as that was discovered the co-ordinates were figured our immediately! Oh what can you do but laugh?! The log is signed- finally! TFTC Geogetters

Found with st37e while caching hard in the Bendigo area, thanks for this great series.
There were lots of people in the park on such a nice day today, but fortunately I managed to find the necessary without too much trouble and there was no-one at all near GZ.
I found the room where the crime was committed easily enough, but ran I to trouble with the murderer as the coordinates had me in the odd.e of a lawn, so PAF option was used, which pointed me in the right direction, and at the same time was given a hint about the whereabouts of the weapon, which was just as well as the coords here had me on the wrong side of the path. Crime solved, sums worked and caxhe soon signed. Really enjoyed revisiting this game which was a favourite in our family, my meandering a around these gardens which I'd not visited in many years. Giving this a favourite also TFTC Geogetters
This is such a great fun cache to do, especially if you have played the board game with the family first. I really enjoyed doing this whole multi with Muggle Hubby. The pieces of the puzzle were tricky but not impossible, I loved the way we were taken on a complete tour of the gardens, and I especially loved the humour in the clue items. We have driven past these gardens many times before, so glad your cache brought us inside the gates to see how lovely it is here. We were lucky there were few muggles around as we did this early in the day, by the time we left an hour later the car park was full.
I definitely recommend everyone should do this cache. Of all the "Anyone for..." series this was our favourite and as such earns a favourite point from us

Our last day caching around the Bendigo area, for the time being.
With such good quality hides, we are looking forward to returning.
We did most of the ground work for this one on our last visit, but were unable
to grab the cache as there was a large group of muggles having a picnic.
Checked our co-ords, and walked in for a quick find today.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Geogetters, for us and others to find.

Hi there Geogetters. We found your cache "Anyone for Cluedo?" at 2:01:00 PM today. This cache makes our find count 10384.

Our trek today was to the north east of Bendigo. The primary plan was to have another attempt at a prior DNF and then just do a "next closest" cache run until we ran out of time.
Wow this one had us wandering all over the place. We found the clues at WP1 & WP2 but the one at WP3 eluded us, so we used a small piece of electronic wizardry to discover the answer we needed. Luckily we also had an iPhone as the images wont download to our GPS.
While we were searching, a member of the park staff approached and wondered what we were doing - as they have observed a number of people clearly searching for something at WP3. We were open about what we were doing, and the staff member will now inform the rest of their staff.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Beautiful park... Still no idea about the clues... Used math to figure it out TFTC w/nest12
I checked on a couple of the waypoints today and they are still there, so keep looking!
Awesome adventure

A great multi gathered all the information on the way around and soon found GZ TFTC.
A nice walk around the park today in freezing cold conditions. We had a hiccup with one of the waypoints, but McLooker mum solved using a little algebra. Off to GZ to make the find. Thanks for the hide Geogetters.
Caching this morning with Glanville Girls, Beckster22, The Lookabouts and Tomstache as it was getting colder by the minute. We found WP1 OK and took a bit to get to it as some recent works had it packed in. At WP2, Glanville Girls made the very clever find. We had a lot of trouble at WP3 finding anything but used the hint to sort the co-ords. Then it was off to GZ where Beckster22 made the find. Thanks for this great multi in beautiful gardens Geogetters.
Lovely stroll through the gardens...could not find clue at third waypoint but thankfully Mrs McLookers algebra came good and we were able to find GZ where Beckster made the find...thanks for the fun Geogetters
A fun little multi in a beautiful area. We saw this pop up on the map and decided it would perfectly fill the time before meeting friends for lunch. Plenty of easy parking and beautiful place to explore on this gorgeous day. We got to WP1 and weren't too sure what we were looking for but once we got the images up on the phone (don't load automatically on GPS) and read previous logs we were on the right track. After a bit of a hunt found the first waypoint and collected the clue. Another quick find at WP2. Then on to WP3. No luck here - we guessed what we were looking for but just couldn't make the find. So we used the hint to decode the final clue and calculated a GZ. Strolled over and made a quick find at the final. Nice container. Overall an excellent multi which we really enjoyed.
Thanks Geogetters

One of 71 caches found today during a big cache run up to and around the Bendigo region. I had a handful of puzzles solved and finding those was high on the agenda, as well as biking some more of the PPPT series. On the way back I managed to squeeze in the Fryers track series south of Castlemaine, and that was a great little adventure in the middle of the night. The weather was perfect all day and even at midnight it was still a balmy twenty degrees. I had a great day with 71 finds and 3 DNF's and my thanks go to all the CO's that placed and maintain the caches.
A really nice park and there were quite a few muggles enjoying the lovely afternoon here too. I used to play cluedo a lot as a kid but can't say I've played for a while now. Today I made my way around the park, gathering clues and evidence for the investigation. With what I had and worked out, the final location looked good. I made my way over and started to search and quickly found the nicely cammoed and well hidden cache. An enjoyable multi in a nice locations.
Thanks Geogetters.

Found by Mary & David, in convoy with Team Crackers, at 1735. As we were staying in Bendigo tonight, we reckoned we had enough time for one more cache. On our own, we might have bypassed this one as it had had a couple of DNFs. However, with four of us, it was well worth a shot. We parked in Napoleon Cres, entered via the arch, and made our way to WP2, the closest. We spent several minutes there without finding anything, so headed next to WP3. After another couple of minutes, we managed to find the clue and figured out what it meant. Now we made our way to WP1, and again had success after a couple of minutes. With only two clues, we resorted to the hint and were able to deduce the missing clue, and then determine the coordinates for GZ. At the final location, we looked around for a while and were beginning to have doubts. Then David looked a little more closely at one particular spot and found the well camouflaged container. We all enjoyed this interesting multi, which added a nice geotwist to the Cluedo game. Our thanks to Geogetters.
Travelling with maccamob caching our way toward Ballarat for the CITO event.
We still had a bit of time before the sun went down and thought we would try our luck on this one before stopping for the day.
We started at WP2 and had no luck at all so thought we would try another and see if we had better luck. At WP1 we were searching a bit of of a distance away from where we eventually found this clue but at least we had a start.
At WP3 we were looking in a larger circle and after a few minutes the clue was also discovered.
Although we did not have all the info with the help of the clue we made a very good guess and were soon at GZ where we searched a small area for awhile before maccamob came up with the goods in a place we had looked earlier but missed it.
Thanks geogetters for a very enjoyable well thought out multi.

Today was a beautiful day, and with all the lovely weather, there were muggles everywhere. We made attempts on 2 waypoint but came up empty handed so decided this one would have to wait until we returned to the area on a much quieter occasion. Thanks Geogetters.

What a lovely place to spend the last day of 2013. We were very happy to find all three clues and the final hide without too much trouble.

After a loss at wp1.. ??? No idea where that one is the other 2 were sluthed out, the Co and I made way to the final on using the clue. Put my hand straight on it. awesome day our in the gardens with the new playground.
After spending a lovely afternoon with DoorMatt, we decided to have a search for the final cache that DoorMatt had previously searched for with no luck. Tftc
Found with Eminor93 while spending a lovely afternoon in the gardens. I have looked for this cache previously but at the time the final was missing so it was great to finally finish this one. We had a quick look near the old location but didn't find anything. After finding two of the clues and solving the final I had a longer look and soon found the container. Thanks for the cache.
Here a few weeks ago, and loved this multi. Have played the game many times as a child. Thought cache was missing on that trip as couldn't find third clue and worked it out on the hint. Cache is safe and sound.
I was back at the scene of the crime again today and dropped by with a great big lump of lead pipe to smite anyone who got in my way
Ok! So maybe the lead pipe was an HB pencil, but I was still ready to take on any logbooks I found [:o)]
And a logbook I did find !!
Safe and sound inside a cache

I came here last week but being such a nice day everyone seemed to be having lunch in the park and I just couldn't look around without feeling obvious [8)] so I abandoned until a better day.
Today being a better day (as it was wet and miserable) ((hang on does that make sense[?])) I ventured back and quickly located the hidden clues required and the well camo'ed cache.
Thanks for bringing it back on line again Geogetters

Sorry about the delay but there has been major works happening in the gardens. WP2 has been moved due to its cover being demolished and GZ has also been moved slightly. Some of the clues have been altered, so make sure you download a new copy of the listing.
I found meself drawn into this mystery on my bike ride today
But with no internet on my 'dumb phone' I could only guess at the two of the answers after finding two of the clues
Work is continuing at the other waypoint !!
With a bit of sleuthing I narrowed the field to 8 possible locations and only one of them was in a likely spot
I wandered over to investigate.
Yes there was evidence of previous searchers here
But try as I might I could not find a cache
I've double checked the coords now that I am back on line and I was at the correct coordinates !!
So a big DNF for Colonel 'If' ... in the botanic gardens, with the pushbike [:o]

It seems WP2 may be temporarily unavailable, so for the time being, I have added a hint to help you calculate it.
WP2 officially unaccessable at the moment due to works on the gardens however it can be reached, not sure that we should have. Maybe worth a visit to see if you think it should be temporarily disabled for the time being?
We're up here for our Anniversary weekend away - yey!! It was GMelb's turn to choose the location (we alternate so it's a surprise for the other half!) He chose Bendigo coz there is so many caches to find and we havent been up here since we got "into caching" Lucky we both like caching!! lol
This cache was most enjoyable and MMelb (our son staying with friends in Melbourne) would have loved this one as he loves the game! We enjoyed walking around hunting for the clues although technically we probably shouldnt have accessed WP2 as it was behind some of that flexible orange fencing (however it was already bent down so GMelb quickly stepped over, retrieved the clever info and back again) There is a lot of works going on at the moment so maybe this cache should be temp disabled whilst that is happening? At WP3 a lady was sitting on the very close seat so we told her we were on a Treasure Hunt and she wasnt the least concerned about what we were doing, she just asked us to share any gold we found!!! lol. GZ was a quick easy find as the container was exposed so we tried to cover it up a bit better.
We had started logging these caches whilst still up in Bendigo but the ancient laptop combined with average coverage for the phone wi-fi hotspot meant the internet kept crashing so logging at home now.
TFTC Geogetters - A FAVE point for a fun cache in a lovely location, especially as it is snake free seeing we had just seen a snake at our first attempt at Requium for a Backlot, Revisited!!! GJMMelb
At WP3 a lady was sitting on the very close seat so we told her we were on a Treasure Hunt and she wasnt the least concerned about what we were doing, she just asked us to share any gold we found!!! lol. Suscoe and Bushfire were out on a day in Bendigo and we were trying to beat the sunset.
Wheeled into the gardens and set about funding the cache.
Love these puzzles.
Cache was located safe and sound.
Funny sight greeted us as we turned around to see two magpies sitting quietly under a picnic table looking miserable.
Thanks to the Geogetters for this nice task!

This being the only multi in this series it was a must do cache and high on the list to find on this very wet miserable day in Bendigo. I can understand why the magpie's were under the bench looking wet and bedraggled, may be they were Hawthorn supporters, but Hawks would not be liked by magpies!!
Eventually the cache was located and we were off home for a hot shower and dinner.
Thanks geogetters.

Fiddlesticks! We were right out of Sequence with this one, it caused us a lot of Trouble, absolute Balderdash - we needed more Patience. Memo to self - remember our rule about caching after 4:00pm (cache fatigue).
TNLN . . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt (and help) Geogetters.

There has been a lot of tree culling in the park and WP3 did fall victim to this, hence it has been moved.
I was worried that this might have been a busy spot today, but we were lucky and able to search for the clues without too much trouble. We didn't find WPT 3 and there has been several trees removed in the area and another with an X painted on it, not sure if WPT3 is still there. With the other clues and a bit of trial and error, we soon found the cache.
Thanks for a fun walk in the park.

I Loved this Multi-cache, probaly my favourite cache i have found!:) Very clever! TFTC
Really enjoyed solving the crime and a lovely stroll through the gardens! Another one of your puzzle caches to cross of the list, a favorite point from me! TFTC!!
I didn't find WP1 as I had printed out the sheets when it was published. After a while I went back to the car defeated and read the logs and saw it had been moved. So I searched the new spot and still didn't find this waypoint but I had a fair idea from the other WP's and my deductions to conduct a search.
It was a good day to be out here, not too many people about and eventually the well hidden cache emerged. So much time had elapsed that I will have to wait until next time to pick up checkers. By then another 5 games will no doubt be published!
Thanks again geogetters

What a nice multi cache. Was a good walk around that park thank you. Ps now must go play a game od cluedo.
I hadnt preloaded this one on the GPS and the phone was being uncooperative today so I had to beg Aveen for the waypoints. A great walk around the Botanic Gardens. Thanks Geogetter
Always good for for a walk around the gardens, and a multi here is an excellent excuse.
Unfortunately, the gardeners were spreading tanbark near the first waypoint. I went and had some lunch, and came back - still spreading. Did the other two way points and returned - How long can you spread the bark for! Obviously a long time.
Took my two answers and went for a walk.
Found the good sized cache.
Thanks, Robmc.

WP1 went missing, it has now been replaced in a new location.

Tried for a long time to locate the container at WP1 but with no success. Either I was looking in the wrong spot, it was cleverly camouflaged or it has been muggled. Knowing I may still be able to solve the mystery with the other 2 clues, I quickly found the other 2 WP's and deduced which was the most likely coordinate. Within minutes the cache was in hand! Thanks Geogetters. A good adventure.
Aah this is very different and good fun and its great to see a cache back in these beautiful gardens. Always loved the fact there was a relative in the game and it is still a family favourite. Hope you have more luck with the final than we did. Thanks for keeping us all entertained when you have so much else going on R&J
Great location for a multi bit hard seeing people's faces on iPhone but figured it out tftc
We all really enjoyed this one! GeoKeegs was able to find all of the clues at each of the locations and the final hide. (This made it a very enjoyable multi for him ). Another great game cache - I loved playing Cluedo as a kid (I think it may still be in the games cupboard - will have to have a look). TFTC! A favourite point from us
Lovely morning walk around the park, I occasionally ride my bike through this area, but never realised there were a pair of kangaroos here. Loved this one and am looking forward to bringing other geo friends to this location. TFTC, TNLN SL 10:13am

Third to find after 3 days! Must be a Mega Event on somewhere at the moment.
Really enjoyed the Cluedo theme as we have been known to play several versions of this Board Game.
Plugged the numbers of Waypoints into gps while at Grandmas(Mums) house.
We then decided to do this in reverse order as the closest one was 40 metres away from her Lounge Room.
As she knows all about Geocaching and doesn't leave home too often she is expecting to see an increase in activity here.
Enjoyed the wander around here and the Gardens are really looking fantastic at the moment.

Found by Roma and Max.
Another well designed puzzle in this game series and placed in one of the nicest parks in Bendigo.
These gardens are looking beautiful and so well kept, it is a credit to the council and those volunteers who devote so much effort and time.
It was an added bonus today to meet up with fellow enthusiast Chwiliwr at GZ followed by a most enjoyable exchange of experiences.
Thanks once more Geogetters, surely there must be more games out there that you could do a geocaching conversion on!
Cheers,
from Romax.

Called by after doing the other 'nearby' new cache. Arrived not long after the gates were opened and found all the waypoints OK and then worked out GZ. From a distance I could see Romax already at the cache so didn't need the GPS in the end. Turned out they arrived just as the gates were opened.
I introduced myself and we had good conversation as we walked back to our vehicles. It is always nice to meet another cacher whilst on the trip like this one.
Thanks Geogetters for the cache.
